Private/Closed Naruto AU: Roleplay

Indeed, Hinagiku's presence had not gone unnoticed.

Within the seemingly dark room had been several members of the shinobi council along with several of the clan heads, who had all gathered here once the invasion had seemed to come to pass likely to discuss matters. Though the fact that it was the Hyuga Head Hinagiku who called for it and not Minato or even Danzo had been troublesome to say the very least.

Among those present were Daichi of the Nara clan, Hisao of the Inuzuka clan, Osamu of the Akimichi clan and Minori of the Aburame clan respectively. Daichi appeared rather bored already, even though the meeting had yet to start while Hisao had her legs on the chair of whoever had been unfortunate to sit in front of her while Osamu had a curious gaze of Hinagiku while Minori had a neutral expression as she took a moment to adjust her glasses before she spoke up.

"An interesting proposition. Though I am curious why you desire to bring Genin here after such a near crisis event. And I would have expected the lord Kage to be here to make such a motion. The fact he is not leads me to assume something troubling happened during this conflict, or would I be incorrect?" Minori asked Hinagiku.

-----------
Danzo began to walk down the hall of the Hokage Residence, with the aim to make it to the meeting that had been arranged among the council & clan leaders. Though along the way he caught a casual glance of a figure by the window which halted his actions as he turned to see none other than the Toad Sage himself Jiraiya as he rested on a window. Though he had a more serious expression than per usual, likely a result of having learned the condition of his star pupil which would dampen any sensei's spirits.

"I suppose you are here because you want to insert yourself into the meeting? Funny, I was told by you on more than one occasion that this kind of stuff was not your cup of tea." Danzo said to the Sannin.

"I'll admit I am not one to listen to lectures, and Tsunade was always the better speaker of our group. But in this case I am willing to make an exception." Jiraiya explained as Danzo gave a nod before he turned to resume his walk.

"I see, well in spite of certain...questionable, personality quirks you are one of our more valuable sources of Intel from the rest of the world and a ninja of legendary stature. So I am in no position to refute your request to join in. And I do express my condolences. A shame what has happened to our Lord Hokage, I only hope he recovers from this experience." Danzo said with seemingly genuine sympathy but Jiraiya seemed unconvinced and scoffed at Danzo's words.

"Funny how you show him any empathy only when he is placed in a literal dire situation. If I recall after the Nine Tails attack you were the one who campaigned for Minato to step down "temporarily" since you thought the loss of his family would prove to be too large a "distraction" for him to fulfill his civic duty." Jiraiya pointed out as Danzo seemed unphased by the accusation and simply continued to walk down the hall.

"It was a mere suggestion, nothing came of it and I didn't push as far as you believe. In spite of what you think I have the best interest of Konoha at heart. Dweling on the past won't help with matters now. As now more than ever we need to come together as a unified nation." Danzo explained before he continued his walk to the meeting sight as Jiraiya let out a sigh and followed him.

Hinagiku

"I'd like to wait until the Uchiha are here...but it wouldn't hurt to give you a briefing from now." The Hyūga clapped her hands twice and a trio of young Hyūga entered along with Hinagiku's personal attendant Rākusupā. The trio of Hyūga, who were currently filling the role of serving girls, brought platters of tea and light snacks to each of the personages present while Rāku herself made her way to Hinagiku's side. The older Hyūga whispered something into the young Hyūga's ear before the younger Hyūga nodded vigorously and made her way out of the room, and into the hallway that lead towards the main hall. Here, she would be able to intercept the incoming genin and chunin as well as relay the orders Hinagiku had just passed on to her.

With that out of the way, Hinagiku adopted a more solemn tone, activating her byakugan and ensuring that no one but the clan heads was within earshot. "I'm sure you're aware we can't let Orochimaru slink back to his hole and recuperate just so he can launch another attack on us. I propose we form a 6-man cell made out of one member from each of our clans. A team formed of the Hyūga, Uchiha, Akimichi, Aburame, Inuzuka, and Nara would be able to effectively track Orochimaru's retreating forces and likely deal with any retaliation in case they get caught."

Pausing for a moment she picked up the teacup next to her and took an elegant sip. "I'm sure the first thought in your mind is, 'Why send genin instead of experienced jonin? Those stupid brats will just get themselves killed.' and honestly, you're right. However...if you haven't heard it seems like Minato is down for the count...and Danzo is sure to make his move."

Casting a hard, but knowing look to the other clan heads she resumed, "I'm sure you know how Danzo operates, and I -for one- don't want all my Jonin gone while Danzo's root lurks around. We can't risk internal strife now since all the Kage are already aware of how bad our situation is and making it any worst is inviting another invasion. If all our experienced ninjas are out combating Orochimaru Danzo will sweep through us without resistance, by force if he needs to. Sending out the Jonin simply isn't an option at this moment."

She paused once again to allow the sheer weight of those words to sink in.

"When Fugaku arrives we'll discuss exactly how many teams to send out and how to equip them. I don't want too many of them dying to stupidity."

Going along with the plan, Kiro moved with Zaku and Kou as they ran behind the group holding the caskets. Like them, the other groups of Sound ninja had scattered in off in multiple different directions. It was a basic strategy to divert attention but it was still a good plan nonetheless. While their duty was too watch over the casket transporters, Kiro figured he could indulge in some conversation with his new ally to pass the time.

Remembering what happened after the ritual was tough, mainly because he had been out for awhile. “I think I almost died...” Kiro started, his memories of the hellish pain flooding back. “Yeah, but I’m alive now which means I think it worked. But I’ve yet to correctly use it in battle. Maybe I haven’t been using it right or I’m just hesitant in using it at all.” Kiro spoke, finding himself beinging up his concerns to Zaku. He knew the power that the seal provided, but his concern was mainly the after effects. The chakra usage was something he would have to work on later. He had some ideas but he would have time to deal with that later. “So what about you, how has the seal treated you?” Kiro asked Zaku, wondering if he had better luck with it.

It would seem that he had been the last one to arrive at the Hyūga’s mansion. It was probably because Fugaku had this news relayed to him only a few moments after he had finally exited the district. But still, that was no excuse for his tardiness, especially to the Hyūga mansion of all places. He found it a bit odd but also welcomed the fact that it wasn’t Danzo who had called this meeting. If anyone knew how Danzo operated, it would be Hinagiku, who rarely let anything escape her sight. The old fool was so focused on the sharingan that he had seemed to underestimate the capability of the byakugan. With only a few strikes from the gentle fist, the old man would be down. Then again, to underestimate Danzo would be a grave mistake and with all the secrets he possessed, Fugaku wouldn’t surprised if Danzo had something in plan for the byakugan.

As he made his way to the door of the meeting room, Fugaku paused at the door. He nodded in respect towards the young Hyūga, Rāku, and waited for any instructions she might have for him as well as permission to enter the room.

Zaku grinned, remembering his performance with the Curse mark in the final exam against katsuo. His opponet was no doubt still hospitalized while he remained on his feet. He chuckled audibly.

“Heh, enough of one to make it to the semifinals through a tie. I’d hate to say it, but I’d have to thank those sound 4 chumps for that. The training is more brutal than a bed of nails, but it payed off.”

While lamenting on his power, the one the snake sannin had bestowed upon him. He remembered a phrase Kin said. “You two are his rooks now.” He glanced back to Kiro. If we are going to be rooks, like how Kin and Yukimaru are bishops, that means we’d have to work together, better than my last partner anyway. Hmph.

“What kind of power is one you can’t use eh?” Zaku spoke, referring to Kiro’s reluctance. “Power was meant to be used, otherwise it’s just a waste. Simple as that.”

Kou, who has been shuffling along with the melody gauntlet in hand tried to catch up with the big boys, his pockets still weighed down with the gold and silver he stole from the unconscious exam crowd. A glob of sweat appeared on his temple as he had not thought this through.

......

Reaver raced across the trees, Azumi at his side. He had a bittersweet feeling about leaving the leaf. On one hand, he didn’t need to worry about keep his guard up or preping for more fights, and on the other he couldn’t take any more trophies. He still had to fulfill his word to Mori, as he WOULD come back for that headband. Upon traveling for a few minutes, a blue streak raced by them. Reaver couldn’t see who or what it was, but it made a beeline back to where it just came from. What the...

before long, he heard a sloshing of water and a flank of steel. He swerved his head and noticed two ninja fighting, both dressed in blue. A male and a female. One seemed to be a book work while the other seemed to have a look of a murderer.

“Hm...interesting. What do you think azumi?”

Rākusupā

It was an odd sight, the view of the great head of the Uchiha waiting patiently in front of a small girl who barely came up to his waist. Nevertheless, it did show the level of etiquette that those from the noble clans displayed in front of the others to not lose face. Her childish voice echoing softly in the halls Rāku directed Fugaku, "The other clan heads are in the main hall already" before stepping aside so he could pass. Though, her small stature wouldn't have stopped him either way.

Shura walked out of a room when he heard the summon called by Hinagiku. On his way to the meeting hall, she saw Shiho heading there as well. She turned around and waived at her brother. "Hey bro, hurry up." She called as Shura walked next to her. "Its been awhile since I last saw miss Hinagiku, I can't wait to see her again." She said with dot eyes staring at the celling and a her mouth wide open. Shura looked at his sister and sighed. "Look, if miss Hinagiku is calling a summon the its probably for serious business, can you at least restrain your... desires... until after this is done?" He asked. "Sure I can." Shiho said as they arrived in front of the meeting hall and Raku. "Hey Raku, you tiny breast are still adorable, I can't wait to see how they grow." Shiho said casually with a smile. Shura then grabbed her head and started to ruffle it with an annoyed expression. "What did I just say!"

The Clan Heads listened to the proposition made by Hinagiku and nodded as they found it reasonable; to varying degrees depending on the person. With Danzo's root rumors having been a popular topic among the clan heads, it made logically sense to take some precautions. The "snake of fire" as Hisao liked to call him would pounce on this chance to gain power with Minato out of commission for what was expected to be at bare minimum the immediate future.

"Makes sense, though it would be wise to advise them to scout rather than engage the enemy. This plan of yours could very well cripple our future generation if it goes south. Depending on the number we send, even if they are exceptional." Daichi said with a serious yet somehow bored tone of voice

"I see, well I can say that our clan has many potential options to use for this plan of yours. Though none that I would say are truely excep..." Hisao began to say before an Inuzuka aid began to whisper in her ear about something which caused her ears to perk up.

"...a wild Inuzuka you say?"
------------
Aisha, along with Sakura & Ino along with Luna & Sky, had made their way to the Hyuga Compound's entrance. Kenji had gone back to leave since the war & exams were over, though vowed to see them once again. AIsha in turn had decided to go seek out the head of the Inuzuka Clan, to see what her clan was like in person as she followed the sent to this location. Ino & Sakura decided to follow given that they had little better to do at the moment. Though they found a pair of guards by the entrance as it appeared simply walking in would not be so simply. Sakura encouraged Aisha to wait for another time to try and see her clan leader.

Aisha did not listen.

"Can I be let inside? I am new to the village and desire to see the head of the Inuzuka Clan. I know that the sent of my clan is inside so I know she is there." Aisha requested only to get a quick rejection from the guard. Explaining that, at the moment, only those among the clan and select guests were allowed access.

So Aisha had a rather simple method to get around this, she feigned that she would leave as she motioned for Ino & Sakura to follow her "away" from the compound with Luna & Sky in toe. Aisha then advised that Sakura cast a minor Genjutsu by a wall so it appeared that they were not there while Aisha & company moved over the wall to get inside the compound. Luna & Sky having jumped over it while Aisha helped Sakura & Ino to scale over it.

"How did you convince me to tag along with this nut?" Ino asked Sakura as they made it over the wall and began to move around the compound.

"Well, she is a friend of Kenji's and helped us out in the tunnel. Least we could do for her in turn." Sakura said in justification as they tried to sneak around...only for the same two Hyuga Guards to appear before them with their Byakugans active.

"Word of advice, don't try to use such a low level genjutsu to fool the greatest visual power in Konoha." One of them explained before the "escorted" the trio to the entrance of the halls where a trio of young Hyuga and the Uchiha Clan Head awaited them as they would wait for the meeting to conclude before they would bring them to their own Clan Head, though one of them entered to inform a certain clan head of the Inuzuka intruder who led the pack.

Azumi assumed a hidden position once Reaver had brought her to the attention of a fight in the distance as she vaguely recognized one of the fighters. The girl who went to comfort her opponent Taiyo in the medical wing. From the look of it, the Kiri girl was in the middle of a battle with another of the same nation as Azumi took a moment to process what she was seeing before she turned to Reaver.

"The girl is a Kiri nin. Appears she and another of her nation are having a battle...and given the expression of the latter, I presume it is no mere spar." Azumi theorized, using the words "Kiri nin" with a touch of disdain in her tone. Figures the nation of the big five that had once had a reputation for bloody civil wars had members who still fought with each other with pointless savagery. Only adding to Azumi's perception of the Big 5 all the more.

As Yasu exited the cave with Tomiko and Madoka, he realized that Tomiko seemed to know this newcomer. Or, newcomer to him and Madoka at least. Tomiko teased the boy a bit, and Yasu just stood there with a sour expression. He didn't like him. This Mori guy, he gave off some vibes that Yasu just couldn't look past.

"Likewise." He said after Madoka with a tone that implied the opposite.

Kiro looked forwards as he thought over Zaku’s words. He was correct of course. This power that he had received, if he wanted to ascend to higher levels, Kiro would have to master it. At the very least, a tool for something greater.

As they continued, Kiro took a look back to check their surrounding. No one had been tailing them yet but he had a feeling that would change. However, he did notice the Kou had slowly been falling behind. Despite hearing their conversation, Kiro was still a bit skeptical as to why they brought the boy along. Though Kabuto didn’t seem to mind having Kou tag along with the group, Kiro wondered what plans they had for the boy once they arrived.

“Zaku, your kid seems to be slowing down. At this rate, he’ll start to slow us down as well.” Kiro stated, trying to figure how to solve this problem. The gauntlet looked heavy but he had also noticed the rather large pockets. There was definitely something else the boy was carrying, which was likely slowing him down. “I think the boy is carrying more than he can handle.”

Before Fugaku could head in, he noticed that a group of children had started to pile up in front of the hall. He found them rather disrespectful to say the least. Especially the one Hyūga who had spoken to Rāku in such a matter. Were the Hyūga just allowing such undignified children to waltz in and out the premises like some playground at such a time? Fugaku would’ve been further stunned had these children gained the rights to walk into a meeting of clan heads. To add more to the fire, five more joined the group, with two of them being animals. Fugaku managed to keep an expressionless look on his face as he walked into the main hall. “Please excuse my tardiness.” Fugaku stated, bowing to the other clan elders for forgiveness.

Mori stopped smiling and donned a serious look. "I am only a genin but I am trained enough to notice that I am not trusted, and I don't expect to be trusted. I expect to be stabbed in the back more than anything, especially after Konoha got destroyed. Iwa is not known for being kind, so don't expect me to be. I saved you because it would be a shame to let you die in that cave, but don't expect mercy when we eventually meet on the battlefield." He looked at Madoka and Yasu with eyes that were filled with wariness, loathing and even a little hate.

"I am not implying that I will kill you in your sleep, but I am not above doing it if I am ordered to. Suna is not worse than Iwa, but it sure isn't better than it either. If the day arrives that our villages pledge alliances without stabbing eachother in the back, I shall apologize for these words although that day might very well never come in my lifetime. Sleep with one eye open and a weapon within reach, as the live of a ninja is never safe nor worth anything. We are tools for our Kage and willing to do despicable deeds and die for them. Never forget that."

Killing instinct seeped out of Mori's pores, not enough to cover him but enough to be felt. He depicted the ideal Iwa ninja; loathing other villages and following the orders of his surperiors without hesitation. He was ready to lash out at any given moment and everyone nearby felt it.

Tools for our Kage... what a fool.

Yasu stepped forward, approaching Mori only slightly as not to alarm him. He didn't care if Tomiko knew this guy, he didn't like him at all. Spewing nonsense is all it seemed the people of this world were good at. Well, that and killing other people at the command of a useless leader.

"I'm nobody's tool, got that? I might belong to Suna, but I hold no loyalty to the Kazekage. I'm training for my own self fulfillment. If you want to threaten me just know that I'm not hesitant to kill you if you try anything, people like you piss me off."

Mori scoffed. "Do you have the same attitude against your Kazekage? If so, I'm surprised you are still alive. If you hate the Kages that much, leave Suna and train to kill them. I wish you luck with that, just don't cry when you get hurt." Mori took a step forward as more killing instinct seeped out, this Suna ninja was getting on his nerves fast and he was more than willing to knock his lights out for good.

"I never said I hated the Kage, I just don't believe I should let them boss me around just cause. Although maybe leaving Suna to train could do me some good, it would be much easier to shut you up for one."

Yasu sighed, there was no point in arguing with this idiot. He had better things to do. He looked back at Tomiko and Madoka and sighed again.

No more around them... They can't know about my true self yet.

Mori surpressed his killing intent and thought of knitting patterns he could create if he could just stay calm and not let this sand brain piss him off. "Relax damn it, you are outnumbered and low on chakra. Not the best conditions to start a fight now is it?"

After a while Mori calmed down enough to not slash Yasu's throat, but he certainly did not like him. "I just hope I don't need to stick around him for too long."

Zaku arched an eyebrow and Kiro’s words. He looked back to his young friend, who was struggling with the melody arm, the gold watches and necklaces jangling as he walked. He had to admit, Kiro was right. He was going to slow them down. He slowed his pace, slowing enough to go parallel with the boy. He looked him up and down.

“Hey, your going pretty slow.”

“I’m trying Boss...it’s just so heavy!”

Zaku blinked. “Like I’m going to allow you to bring us down. Hmph!”

He grabbed the melody arm from Kou, and grabbed it with one hand, as Kou seemed to get noticeably lighter and faster, the gold still jingling along however. He smirked, disguising his act of kindness as one of tactical importance.

“Thanks Boss....”

“Hmph!”

Kou and the older sound ninja quickened their pace, now going alongside Kiro behind the casket. He locked eyes with Kiro, then looked away, not wanting to appear weak.

The ninja from the leaf were no doubt about to pursue, their ruse was only going to delay that. Unless they get remarkably lucky and manage to confused ALL of the leaf. But this was unlikely.

.......

“Heh, looks like that one it about to take a trophy.” Reaver said, watching seuin attack Tsuki. “If I weren’t weakned, I’d be tempted to collect a few myself.”

The fight continued as azumi’s gaze seemed filled with nothing but contempt. Reaver didn’t really care, as he knew why Azumi felt a grudge. What he was considered with however was the future.

“So what are you thinking our move should he?”

"OKAY ENOUGH!" Tomiko yelled out, having shifted to concerned to annoyed with the two as they bickered with each other as she got between them with the intent to stop this before it dragged on. Tomiko had a disappointing look as she glared at both Yasu and Mori before she let out a sigh.

"I believe we've all seen enough fighting today. Let's just settle down before someone does something stupid. And that won't prove either of you are right." Tomiko explained to the pair as Madoka looked on, though she kept a close listen to what the two had said to each other as they seemed like polar opposites.

One believes in obeying the Kage and acting as a weapon, while the other seems almost defiant to the idea of following a Kage's orders. With Tomiko as a common link between the two it could lead to an explosive confrontation if cooler heads fail to prevail...

-----------
Azumi kept her cold gaze on the Kiri nin as they fought, for a half a second one might have assumed she'd try to strike the pair before she let out a sigh and turned away from them to Reaver.

"Indeed, I got what I needed from here. No reason to get tied into a pointless battle. Let's move." Azumi said to Reaver as she prepared to leave the area to resume her journey back to Amegakure.

Sagisō

Her long journey from the land of water to the land of fire, and the mind games played by the proctor during the first section of the Chunin exams, followed up by their survival training in the forest of death, and almost half a month of training had all culminated into the single tournament that took place earlier today. Her experience with the Chunin exams was rather pointless and had been more of a game than any examination of skill or competence that would allow her to advance smoothly to the next rank. The rank itself wasn't increasing her fighting prowess, and the status granted by the rank was easily outclassed by the status provided by her clan. Maybe it was different for the other ninja who'd participated, but to Sagisō, the Chunin exams were hollow...

A tense sigh escaped her lips as she lay prone on her bed. After removing her yukata and unwrapping her sarashi, replacing the clothing with something more casual and -quite frankly- not as restrictive, she'd simply thrown herself onto her bed. Her rather unclothed state and overall disregard for her appearance caused her to cut a rather sorry figure. Abyss-black strands of hair, having been untied from her bun, snaked restlessly across the room, it's length allowing it to blanket the bed and trail onto the floor, covering more of the room than Sagisō herself did.

She stared blankly at the wooden ceiling. What next..? There were many other things she wanted to do like mastering her clan's taijutsu style, learning a new nature transformation and finding a husband. Becoming a Chunin..? Well, that was somewhere on her list, probably near the bottom. She'd always thought the Anbu were cool, even more so than the Kage and the few times she'd seen her Aunt- errr, mother (she wasn't completely used to that) in her Anbu uniform had only strengthened that desire. Genin were just fodder, Chunin were the real ninja who could be trusted to handle tasks competently, Jonin were the elite among the Chunin, and Anbu were the elite of the elite! Only that position would satisfy her pride, the other ninja ranks were just stepping stones on her journey there, but- she was aware she didn't quite have that level of strength yet. But how would she be able to gather that sort of stren-

Knock Knock Knock

Interrupted by the wrapping of an attendant at her door, Sagisō lolled her head to the side and stared at the entrance to her room.

"Lady Sagisō, the clan head has ordered all Chunin and below to gather."

Her train of thought having ground to a grinding halt, Sagisō listened as the attendant's footsteps faded, stopping at the room across from hers -Furījia's- and delivering the same message to the girl who'd awakened mere minutes ago.

Another sigh filled the room, "Guess I'll save those plans for later..."

For now, it was best not to keep mother waiting. Though...it was about time for a minor change or wardrobe.

-------

When Sagisō approached the main hallway towards the clan's main hall, the word minor could no longer describe the number of changes she'd made. She'd completely done away with both her Yukata and hairstyle. She instead wore a two-piece dress composed of inner and outer sections. The inners section was a black sleeveless body suit that covered her torso and continued down her body before cutting off at her thighs, while the outer vest was a creamy white, shoulderless garb that looked like a woolen sweater had been thrown over her body. Matching the outerwear for her new attire and starting near her elbows was a pair of wrist warmers that covered the base of Sagisō's palm on either hand and was fitted like a wrist glove with a larger opening for her digits, and a smaller exit from which her thumb peaked out of. Each of the wrist warmers had been decorated with the patterns present on her Yukata and Sarashi, namely Hydrangea and Egret Orchid Petals. Her hair had been styled into asymmetrical bangs, covering her left eye and much of that side of her face. The rest had been left free to hang, but as she didn't want it dragging on the ground she'd tied her hair into a large bow at her waist, allowing the looping strands to poke out from either side of her body. Her footwear had, however, remained the same.

She looked quite a bit more mature and womanly, likely because her sarashi was no longer restricting her-

"Oh? So you were the first to arrive Shura?" She smiled lightly at her cousin (She had no real clue how Shura was related to her) and her gaze floated to the girl beside him. "and this is...?"

Furījia

While Sagisō had been busy with a massive overhaul of her appearance, Furījia had left her room, heading not toward the main hall, but rather the training hall. Since she'd hadn't been expecting to participate in battle earlier, she'd left her weapon Raijū in the Hyūga mansion- a mistake she had no intention of repeating. She exited the training hall with a matte black stick in her hand, her fingers tracing up and down the cylindrical surface of the weapon and the shy, timid expression usually present on her face melting into something with a hint more confidence to it. While it didn't look like much, the spear calmed the young Hyūga. She was only at her best when Raijū was by her side. While the 'spear' had no head to it and would be taken as a staff by any bystander who hadn't seen her wield it before, that was how the weapon was meant to be. Only during the howls of a thunderstorm would the Raijū unsheath its claws.

The young heiress soon arrived at the hallway leading to the main hall, the staff, which was taller than her person, being cradled almost comically in her thin arms. She noticed that quite the crowd had already formed, though they quickly parted and allowed her access. She slow steps took her straight to the front of the small group of Hyūga who were now clogging the hallway, and there she saw Sagisō, Shura, Shiho, and Rāku.

Rākusupā

Her thin arms covering her non-existent chest, Rāku stumbled backward while tears came to her eyes. She wasn't good with people like Shiho...but she had a task that had been entrusted to her by the Clan Head. Clearing her throat, and tactfully avoiding the leering eyes of Shura's sibling, Rāku chirped out in the loudest voice she could manage. "Lady Hinagiku's orders, gather in the main courtyard and prepare for an emergency special issue mission. Your preparation should be for a long-term mission possibly lasting a month or more, and your arsenal should include necessities for up to 3 weeks travel, any further resources will have to be gathered by yourselves. Other genin of the other clans should be arriving as well, so stand by for further orders."

Hinagiku

Waving her hand towards an empty pillow, Hina gestured for Fugaku to sit. "We've just begun so you haven't missed much." While she noticed the look on Hisoa's face as well as the unfamiliar girl and her two wolves, along with a bevy of other genin who'd gathered outside, she didn't think now was the time to address that. She signaled to an attendant, ordering for them to have Aisha and her companions wait within the courtyard along with the other genin of the Hyūga. If she managed to persuade the other clan heads they'd all be heading their either way, and a few minutes wait couldn't hurt the girl.

She once again adopted a serious expression on her face as she continued with her plan, quickly briefing Fugaku on what had already been said. "This mission should be purely reconnaissance, but we can't guarantee that they won't encounter any members of the sound and need to engage. That's why I'd proposed larger cells while scouting. However, only when scouting. The genin and chunin should move as a large combined group, setting up a temporary base of operations every night at agreed at locations and splitting into groups to scour the area during the days. They should strive to stay within 10 km of each other so they can request support if they do encounter something out of their ability to handle. We'll provide them with signal flares for that purpose."

While they needed smaller groups to cover a larger area during their sweeps, at nights the genin must regroup, otherwise, they might be picked off one by one when the sound caught wind of them. Since they had no idea where the sound village might be, or what convoluted path Orochimaru might take to try to throw pursuers off his trail, the recon mission could easily last for multiple weeks. Members of the Inuzuka would be able to track the sound through scent, while the Hyūga would be responsible for sweeping the area with their byakugan. The Nara with their vast knowledge would likely be able to coordinate the sweeps to ensure a tighter net that allowed the sound little chance to escape, and the Aburame could use their bugs to communicate with other cells in close proximity. The Akimichi didn't exactly excel at recon, or stealth for that matter, but their combat power would be beneficial should the genin end up coming to blows. The Uchiha were also there for a similar reason.

The combined group of genin would be able to cover at least several square kilometers per day during their searches and she didn't believe Orochimaru would be capable of escaping their notice. Firstly, he was injured and she'd bet her money that a number of the sound ninja were too, their speed couldn't be that fast. Secondly, he would leave behind some clues that either the Hyūga, Aburame or Inuzuka would pick up. If Orochimaru really was godlike enough to remove all traces of his presence during travel by traversing through rivers and streams to break his scent trail while also cleaning up any other pieces of evidence such as blood, while also maintaining enough speed to outpace the genin and chunin while injured...well, she would be completely speechless. Either, the entire lot of genin and chunin needed to head back to the academy, or that snake had somehow managed to flying raijin his entire army straight to the sound village.

"I'll listen to your thoughts on the plan so far, but afterward we'll also need to deal with our little...Hokage issue."

"If you say so, but don't expect me to become buddy-buddy with him. I am already conflicted enough by not attacking him on the spot." The resentment in Mori's voice was almost gone, but it was still there for everyone to notice. "If my Tsuchikage decides to be friends with other villages, then I might not be as irritated. I can only dream though."

Yasu backed off when Tomiko decided to step in and stop the conflict. He wasn't happy about it, but if Tomiko wanted them to stop he guessed he wouldn't keep going. He sighed and stepped away from the other three Shinobi, his reclusive side coming to the surface.

"Sorry about that Tomiko... I'm gonna go cool down by myself for a bit, come find me if you need anything."

He left them without another word, or any parting gesture. He figured it would be better to just be by himself for a while, he was more comfortable alone anyway.

---------------------------------------

It took a while, but Yasu managed to find a nice little area away from everything. It was small, but still big enough to not feel cramped. He could easily move around, and it was surrounded by high shrubs and trees so there was no way to see in or out. He sat down, leaning his cloaked body against the trunk of one of the trees.

Why am I even here? I don't have the motivation or patience for anything that's happened... It's not like I care about becoming some great Shinobi. In fact, I'm not sure I care about anything. I only came to this stupid tournament because my parents somehow convinced the Kazekage, and I didn't want to let them down...

Yasu slid down the trunk, ending up laying down all the way. He rose his arm before catching a stray ray of sunlight in his eyes and dropping his arm down to cover them.

Should I stop in this pursuit of a purpose? Maybe I don't have any bigger purpose... maybe I'm just destined to live this boring life with nothing to give me happiness. Is there any meaning to my struggles? What's the point?

Mori watched the Suna ninja walk away but instead of feeling happy, he felt bad. "I know I am in no position to say this, but I went too far. I am going to apologize to him." Mori waved at the kunoichi and followed the tracks of Yasu.

Eventually he arrived at a hidden area covered with shrubs and trees, Yasu sitting down in front of one of the trees. Mori took out all his weapons and left them under a bush before attempting to talk to Yasu. "....Yasu? I wanted to...apologize for my behaviour." He bowed whilst talking, trying not to appear agressive to the Suna nin.

Shura stopped messing with Shiho's hair when Raku told them to meet in the courtyard. "Alright." he said before turning around and seeing Sagiso. "Oh hey... you. I don't I ever got your name." He said as Shiho finished fixing her hair and quickly jumped beside her brother. She stared at Sagiso, around the chest area. "Wow, you have really nice curves lady, they look so bouncy and sof-" She was cut off by Shura chopping her on the head. "Can you ever shut up?!" Shura shouted with frustration. Shiho recoiled from the pain and put her hands on her head.

“ENOUGH!”

Suddenly, in between Tsuki and seiun, a giant pillar of ice emerged from the ground. After that, another pillar and another, so rapidly until Seiun’s position was entirely blocked in aside from above. Sitting atop the tallest pillar was the leader of the entire Yuki clan himself. His disapproving glare showing more than his words could utter.

“There will be no Yuki blood shed today. Not on my watch. However, you dilberatly attacked our new genin. Why is this? Choose your words carefully, your life depends on it.”

Ice needles seemed to rise from wearabouts unknown to, moving toward the prison he had formed for seiun. The needles revolves around him, the jaws of death seeming to yearn for a bite.

.........

Kai races across the trees, the weight of responsibility on his back. As the all to familiar walls of the leaf here’s closer, he knew that the sound and retreated. He had only hoped the foul Xeno filth hadn’t murdered his comrade at arms.

He jumped up, landing atop the wall. He was a hunter nin, finding people was his speciality. It shouldn’t be too hard. His eyes scanned the city, and even the outer walls for any sign of the chunnin. His eyes then locked on to something.

Outside the cave created outside the wall, there was blood mixed in with the water. Meaning that’s SOMEONE was down there. He remembered that Tsuki has once been down there as well, so it was entirely possible for Kiro to be as well. He hoped down, looking at the cave in front of him. There were major signs of battle, even though the water scrubbed a lot of the area clean, there were familiar explosion markers, and foot prints of a familiar foe..

“So, he lived did he?”

The Clan Heads listened to the Hyuga as she outlined her plan in greater detail now that Fugaku had made his arrival. It made enough sense to any of them; given they were Genin they needed security of teams and the fact that multiple teams would have a simple method to contact each other if the situation went south. While the use of Genin was still questionable, the fact was that they needed strength in the village here and Hinagiku's plan did offer the biggest security blanket possible for it.

The fact was, to learn of what Orochimaru had planned was important. And this was their best chance to do it while they had their tails between their legs. They needed to act, and this was their best chance to do it while giving security to the war-torn village.

"I believe the plan, given the circumstances, is the best chance we have. I favor the motion, does anyone oppose?" Daichi asked the other Clan Heads as none of them raised a counter motion and some even went to the trouble of already sending a delegate to go and find any able Genin or Chunin for the purpose of the plan among their clans. In Hisao's case, this extended to Aisha as well as Sakura & Ino as they had been escorted to the area the Hyuga Genin were and if things went as planned many others would soon join. It appeared that, at least among the Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, Nara & Yamanaka Clans that they all were in support of the plan or at the very least had no means to provide an alternative.

"Impressive plan. I'd say you have the strategic mind & commanding presence to take charge in a tough situation. The kind of thing we need in this time."

The voice of the Toad Sage was heard through the room as both he and Danzo appeared in the Hyuga compound. Jiraiya seemed to have overheard the plan that Hinagiku laid out and was impressed that even in this situation she was able to form a detailed plan of attack for using Genin & Chunin against his old ally turned nemesis and his newfound nation. Though Danzo focused more on another comment to the group.

"Indeed, once the plan is sent into gear a meeting should be arranged to discuss what is to be done while our Lord Hokage remains in his current condition." Danzo said as he seemed interested in that discussion; perhaps even more so than the plan with the Genin/Chunin for reasons that likely had not been lost to some of the clan heads.

Tomiko let out a sigh as she watched Yasu walk away as Mori apologized and walked after him. Tomiko did not want this to be how her friend and old classmate interacted, and despite her desire to follow them she felt that they needed to try and get on better terms without her getting overly involved. If they could only make peace with her holding them by the ear, then any hope for them to get on passable terms without her would have been lost.

Madoka looked on with a neutral expression, too tired to try and get worked up over this spat between Yasu and the Iwa-nin Tomiko seemed to know. However, her eye traced over to a building in the distance. A fancy building, one of the noble Konoha clans. That alone would have done little to get Madoka's interest. However, in the distance she caught a faint pink blur that seemed to move within it which made Madoka curious as she moved her position to try and get a closer look. Tomiko herself was puzzled by this but decided to follow Madoka as she was curious what caught her friend's attention.

----------
"Eh, so I failed the exam. Got involved in some war, and got my masculinity insulted. All in all could have been worse."

Kenji mused his less than enjoyable experience at Konoha as he made his way towards the main gate, with the intent to begin the journey home. However, along the way he glanced over towards the Hyuga Compound as it appeared a few people around his age group or younger were being gathered for...something. Kenji guessed it was a head count given the likely causalities of war but then he noticed something curious; his friends Ino & Sakura along with that Inuzuka girl he met in the tunnel were also being escorted along with the others.

Kenji now was too curious to just walk away. Not like the Raikage would care too much if he came back home right away, so Kenji decided to move around the outside of the compound to try and ease drop into...whatever had been set up to happen.

Lily was training her new jutsu and got a instruction to move over to the hyuga mansion for something important, so she stopped her training and went to her house to get her brother. “Hey we were called to go somewhere we gotta hurry!” Yusa just sat up and packed his stuff, and left outside without saying a word, with Lily following him behind but quickly catched up. They arrived at the hyuga mansion, Lily was a bit confused where they were supposed to go and Yusa just asked a hyuga where they were supposed to be.

Jin stopped in his tracks when he heard the “mighty” head of the Yuki stop another Yuki in his tracks with ice pillars. He thought to himself “he made the wrong move trying to kill that other Yuki, wonder why he would do that” he looked at his sword bringing back some painful memories, he thought that it wasn’t right to think about it now because he still had something to do “someday, I just have to wait for that one day.”

Seiun
As he was being surrounded by icicles, his knife had fallen to the ground. Indeed, Seiun was astounded by the speed and precision of the ice creation. He chuckled at what the leader of the Yuki clan suggested, but his expression soon morphed into a thoughtful frown. Whoever this guy was, he did not seem to be the type to hesitate, if he got the chance, Seiun was certain his life would end here. He inhaled and donned a cold demeanor.
"Well, let me begin with this," Seiun told the leader of the Yuki clan, "When you proceed to the rest of your village, don't be shocked to find some members dead. Fret not, they were merely fodder genin and they would have died regardless. I only targeted the young woman due to her promise. Although from the lack of a fight she put up, I suppose my judgment was misplaced," He had his hands in the air indicating his surrender, as he had no other choice at this point.
Tsuki
It was true, all the Yuki-nin did was give a light shove to release herself. Anyone could have done that, but she didn't fight back simply because she COULDN'T. Tsuki never trained a day in her life, being a pacifist failure of a ninja, so if she attempted to engage in combat with this...this psycho, she'd be dead within milliseconds.
This FILTHY XENO. He tried to kill me! He doesn't even realize the gravity of the situation. And this...it makes me feel...hateful.
She now had another purpose in her clan, aside from protecting the good Xenos like Taiyo, she would purge the filth like Seiun.
"Run away if you want to live, Xeno scum!" She shouted at the would be murder, clenching her fists in anger. She didn't like this feeling that was now flowing through her, but she would use this hate to train and be of service to the Yuki clan, no, the village of the Hidden Mist as a whole, she would be the one to end the Xeno scumbags.

The head of the Yuki clan shook his head at seiun, the other Yuki councilors stepping up besides him.

“We only began to leave the leaf, it would not be possible to kill others, simply. Your deceit and lies only further your dishonor.”

He pointed at him, even though his prison of ice around the mist ninja was very well in place.

“Attacking another mist ninja is already considered a death penalty offense. We are not at the mist yet, so it would be careless and wasteful to shed mist blood on foreign soil for no reason. You shall be tried back at home. In the mean time however, you will be cuffed and bound.”

He kept his hand facing hims while two hunter nin cane besides him and hopped down toward seiun, holding cuffs and chain, going to tie him up and bring him in.

..........

Kai, noticing reaver had survived was even more worried about Kiro’s survival. He carefully walked into the cave, noticing several chipped rocks and Singed stone. There was a struggle. A fight between more than one foe by the looks of several nature damages. The water had washed away a lot of evidence, but he traced the trail of struggle as far as he could.

He was taken aback by the sign of a dead serpent, head first in the water. On his side, seemed to be a drop of blood and an impression. There was a pressure there at some point, and the blood didn’t come from any wound the snake had.

“Curious...”

He crept toward the drop of blood. He knew kiro’s blood type, as he was catalogued as having ‘O-‘ blood since he was in the village. He took out a small needle with a blood type reader. He had to make sure... he touched the blood with the needle, as it slowly dripped into the tube. His eyes winced as he realized...it was O-.

“So he fought reaver then. No easy fight...but it looks like he had help.”

Yasu heard the noise of someone approaching before Mori came into view. He was still upset, but mostly with himself. The Iwa-nin apologized, he seemed genuine. Yasu pushed himself back onto his feet from his position laying on his back, and turned to face the still bowing Mori.

"It's fine, really. I started it, so if anything I should be the one apologizing."

His extended his hand as a sign of peace, there was no point in fighting anymore. If he was Tomiko's friend, he would have to get on better terms with him.

"We should head back, the girls are probably still there."

Mori stopped bowing and grabbed the extended hand as a sign of peace. "I promise that I will do my best to not insult you or anyone else. And you're right, I don't want to keep them waiting." Mori smiled a little, glad that the problems were resolved or atleast put aside. He grabbed his weapons from underneath the bush and waited for Yasu to follow him before he walked back to the place where he assumed Tomiko and Madoka were at. Even though everything seemed to be resolved, Mori could not shake this feeling of uneasiness, like something big was about to happen.

Seiun
In truth, the Chunnin was scared for his life, why would the Yuki clan go so far just to protect some weak, defenseless girl? As there was no point in resisting, Seiun allowed himself to be caught, knowing he could use his lightning to escape. He let the leader of the mist jabber on with his nonsense so he could be free.
Tsuki
Know the that the Yuki-nin had this hatred bubbling inside of her, Tsuki had no idea how she'd release this anger. But regardless of how, she knew that when she did, it would be explosive.
I cannot wait to watch that second-rate trash of a Chunnin burn.
Taiyo
After finding no one who knew where Tsuki was at the entrance gate, he decided to head back to the area where he broke free to see if she was there. On his way, he saw a mysterious figure who stared at the would-be fight between Tsuki and Seiun. The Leaf-nin approached him, in hopes of questioning him.
"Hey dude, have you seen this girl named Tsuki Yuki?"

The leader of the Yuki clan nodded as the chains and cuffs were firmly placed onto the newfound prisoner. With a flick of his wrist, one of the pillars of ice turned into water, the water coiling up around seuin’s chains and crystallizing. He then blended the ice around him to make him float in the air, as he made him glide slowly toward the older ninja.

“What is your name and clan, little one?”

.........

Kai analyzed the area. He knew Kiro was fighting reaver at one point, but who was his help? He looked around the cave for clues. Once his eyes glazed to the roof of the cave he noticed something interesting. A singe mark that looked like it had been interrupted. Like an attack had been canceled. On further analysis, it appeared to have several scrapes and cuts on the rock leading up to it.

Fire style can never make such fine cuts, Lightning style is too reckless, earth style is too blunt, and water style would have washed away the singe mark. That leaves wind style. He received help from a wind style user. But who and why? He racked his brain thinking of someone who Kiro associated with who was a wind style user. Unfortunately, only one game to mind.

“Out of all ninja, it had to be her.”

Tomiko glanced behind her as she caught Mori & Yasu return to their old spot, and with a motion of her arm she tried to signal them to follow Madoka & herself as they moved just outside the Hyuga Compound and hoped the two guys would join them as well.

"Man, seems like Konoha is gathering all their Genin. Any idea what this means?" Tomiko asked Madoka as they observed the group while Madoka thought it over before she turned to the Iwa-nin.

"I don't know. I do know that before I leave here I am going to find out." Madoka explained, as she kept her eye on the group of Genin & Chunin but focused more on the group her friend Sakura was with. Which also consisted of Ino, Aisha and her wolves Luna & Sky; who looked around the Hyuga Genin among others with curiosity and confusion.

On the other side of the area, just beyond the Hyuga Compound stood Kenji who like Madoka & Tomiko observed the curious sight before him as he wondered what was going on and more importantly how Sakura, Ino & Aisha were connected to it.

-----------
"Nice. Just got through an invasion, a friend committed theft on the village and now we're being roped together for something. Just how I wanted to spend my day."

Takato returned from the outskirts of the village where he confronted Azumi & Reaver and was soon told by a Nara-nin to gather with other Konoha-nin in the Hyuga Compound yard. Naturally Takato was confused, but he knew better than to ask questions as he banked on a reasonable explanation being offered to him and who else was brought into this; besides, it was far too much effort to fight something he knew he had no way to actually protest as he begrudgingly made his way over only to see quite a few Genin or perhaps young Chunin in the area which only caused a sigh of exhaustion to escape his lips.

Fantastic. Seems like we're building up an army. An inexperienced, under-prepared canon fodder army.

"There they are, come on Yasu!" Mori ran towards the kunoichi, albeit growing slightly nauseous from a large collection of chakra nearby. "That's odd, the Tailed-Beast is gone. Why am I still feeling this much chakra? Are the Konoha clan heads all together?" He became curious and picked up the pace, determined to find the source of this chakra.

"Yeah!"

Yasu nodded and increased his pace to keep up with Mori. Although, he split off once they got closer to Tomiko and Madoka. He traced Tomiko's eyes over to what seemed to be a large gathering of sorts. From the looks of it, they all seemed to be Leaf Genin.

Why the hell would Konoha be gathering their Genin? Must be something serious, whatever it is

Mori caught up with Tomiko and Madoka and traced where they were looking at. There was a large gathering of genin and chuunin, was Konoha attempting to defend the village with quantity over quality? "What's going on here? Why is there a gathering here?" He asked the kunoichi as the large amount of chakra made sense now since the amount of genin and chuunin was insane.

Jin didn’t respond to the mysterious person, instead he just pointed a finger at Tsuki from the distance. He didn’t say anything else and just started sharpening his sword. He wondered “wonder why this person needs to see her? None of my business so I won’t pry.” He looked up and saw the intruder get cuffed “told you it was a bad idea.”

Taiyo
The genin had to squint a little bit before he saw Tsuki. Taiyo felt relieved as he saw someone who he could only assume was an ally, so there was no need for him to rush in. He still had a debt to pay to her, but there was time, right. Besides, his village was gathering all of the genin for some sort of mission and his village came first.
"Thank you, whoever you are," Taiyo told the stranger, meeting up with the rest of the beginner level Leaf-nin.
Seiun
When asked what his name was, Seiun was tempted to be disrespectful to Mr. Yuki and spit
on his face. However, he was already in a bad enough position as it is, this would only contribute to how he could escape.
"My name is Seiun. As for my clan, I don't have one. I hailed from the rain, but I killed my strict trash dictators for parents and broke free. Consider me a bounty hunter of sorts, I might work for you someday if I can kill talented shinobi," He glared at the leader of the Yuki clan with cold eyes, in order to assert his self-respect.

Lily was surprised to see so many genin in one place at the Hyuga Mansion Courtyard, while her brother was just looking around with a solemn face. Lily wanted to talk to all of them, but she was afraid of being turned down and her brother gave her a suggestion of talking to the hyuga girl standing. So Lily followed his advice and went up to her “hi my name is Lily, it’s strange meeting a lot of new people isnt it, oh sorry forgot my manners what’s your name?”

Harmony was leaning against a tree, when he felt a sudden......presence he didn’t know what it was but he activated his sharingan and took out a few Kunai’s with explosive tags. Once is target was in range he threw them at his opponent and hid behind a tree, as the tags would set off if they were in anyway hit a physical target. He drew out his sword and deactivated his sharingan “Lets see how much stronger I’ve gotten over the years, but there’s two of them so this will just be a test run for now...”

Sagisō

Taken back by the girls bold comment on her figure. Her head swiveled left, then right, wonder if, by chance, there was some other buxom figure the girl could've been referring to. Finally, her eyes settled on Shura and her brow raised questioningly. 'Was this some new type of bullying?' Without warning, Sagisō acted her fingers flying towards Shiho's cheeks, where she intended to deliver a firm pinch. "Quite the loose mouth you've got there~ That isn't how a lady of the Hyūga clan should act now is it?"

Furījia

"Oh? You mean me?"

Stopping her odd whispering to her weapon, the Hyūga girl who'd been standing off to the side turned to the newcomer. "Hmmm...I guess it is isn't it? I'm Furījia, the next heiress to the Hyūga clan...I don't think I got your clan by the way, mind spilling the secret?"
