Private/Closed Naruto AU: Roleplay

Lily looked at the other Hyuga “oh sorry, my clan is the Uchiha and I was talking to the other one who is pointing her fangs at that one” she said pointing to the hyuga who was saying something to her. “Oh your the next heiress of the hyuga clan!? That’s so cool.” She pointed to her brother “that’s my brother over there, I wish I would be the next head of the clan........buuut I geuss that dream will never come true” she said with a slight disappointment.

Furījia

"Well...you could be the next head after Itachi? and that's my sister Sagisō."

Stroking the length of Raiju'w staff Furījia eyes wandered over Lily's body, sizing her up. "I don't know how it is in the Uchiha clan, but I'm the Hyūga clan, the heiress needs to have both strength and dignity. If you want to test that first option, then there are training halls we can use to spar. I'm sure we won't miss too much."

Her grip tightened on her weapon, a slights rush of anticipation coursing through her body. She'd yet to get a good chance to battle with Raiju, and she hoped Lily would take her up on her offer.

Lily thought about it for a second “ok I’ll take you up on that offer, there’s a Taijutsu move I’m developing and I want to test it out as soon as possible” she said that while she activated her sharingan. But Yusa stepped in to say something “so if your fighting her, can I fight your sister? I need to blow of some steam real quick if you don’t mind?”

Furījia

"Well, I can't answer that for you, but I certainly won't stop you from asking her."

Breaking out into a light smile, Furījia gestured for Lily to follow her. She weaved her way throughout the crowd of genin, trailing down hallways and navigating the complex network of pathways that connected the courtyard to the training hall. Sliding open the doors to the grand hall, Furījia stepped inside. She walked to one end of the halls, and assuming that Lily had followed her, she began speaking. "We can use this hall, it should have enough space for us to let loose."

She twirled the staff in her hand, running her chakra through it and activating the machinist that broke it into segments. The multi segmented spear was then attached to her waist like a coiled whip. Since Lily wanted to practice her Taijutsu, Furījia would oblige her.

Yusa went up to Sagiso “so,scary lady, can I ask you if you want to “spar?” Yusa thought a certain idea in the back of his head. Lily was still a bit confused from going threw all those hallways, but shook her head and got it together “ok thanks for leading me here, I’m pretty sure I would have gotten lost during all......that” she got her self in a ready position, and sticker her hand out “ok come at me with full force!”

Shiho clenched her teeth and rose her arms beside her when Sagiso pinched her cheek. "Ow, ow, ow, that hurts!" She shouted. Shura sighed and looked towards Sagiso. "I'm sorry about Shiho here, she's alway had this weird obsession." He explained. "It probably have to do with her lack of a mother during her childhood." He added before hearing what Yusa said. "I don't think this is the time for that."

Hinagiku

At the arrival of Danzo and the Toad Sage, Hina smiled. It was a smile that didn't reach her eyes, but it was a smile nonetheless. She waved her hand to summon an attendant, whispering a few words into the attendants ear before sender them off to deliver the mission briefing to the gathered chunin and genin.

Meanwhile, another pair of servants came and served the two newcomers a small cup of tea. "You sound like you already have something's in mind, Lord Danzo? I assume Lord Jiraiya has already declined to take up the post?"

While the meeting continued, moving onto topics that concerned the fate of the village, the attendant had finally made his way to the courtyard where a sea of genin and chain greeted him. Clearing his throat loudly to gather the attention of the crowd, he began relaying the o,an of action decided by the clan leaders. "Orochimaru has grown rather bold to slither this far from his hole, and we plan to take this chance to find this lair of his. The Jonin will be dealing with other mission of importance and hence the task of tracking down Orochimaru and discovering the location of Otogakure falls to you youngsters. I should clarify this mission isn't purely reconnaissance, you are not required to emgagr the members of the retreating sound village in combat, however, how to handle each situation will be left at your discretion. In fact, most of the specifics of the mission wil also be left to your discretion, including the composition of your teams and team leaders."

Sweeping his eyes across the sea of heads and curtains of hair before him, the Hyūga attendant continued. "You will however, be required to remain together at nights to reduce the mortality rate of this mission, however your actions during the day will be entirely up to your judgement."

Waving his hand he directed their attention to his right(their left) where a large warehouse stood. "For the purposes of this mission you will be provided with communication signals to be used to coordinate your searches and regroupings. The warehouse to my right and your left, contains a store of smoke signals and various other gear you are authorized to take for the purpses of this mission. Whatever you don't use you may keep, however, don't be blinded by greed. The equipment in the warehouse has been fully funded by the Noble clans of Konoha so bear that in mind."

Once more returning his attentions to the crowd he finished up his breifing, "You may disembark in any order you'd like but remember to regroup at nights...Any questions? If not your mission officially begins!"

Sagisō

Although it might not have been an appropriate time for a duel, Sagisō would never deny a marriage proposal. She'd been about to respond when an attendants came and briefed the crowd on what's exactly they'd come here for. His voice was rather loud and echoed even outside the Hyūga clan's compounds...'it'd probably been boosted with chakra.' Such idle thoughts ran through Sagisō's mind as the attendant concluded his speech. Exchanging glances with Shura she spoke, "You can go on ahead if you'd like, we'll meet back up tonight either way. It's my custom never to decline a challenge, especially one for my hand in marriage!"

Spinning crisply on her heels, her hair flashing about lightly, Sagisō headed towards the training halls calling out for Yusa to follow her. Noticing that the first was already in use she opted for the second. Whipping back around to face her challenger, she took an 8 trigrams stance. "Well, let's begin!"

Furījia

While she remained silent, the veins leading to her eyes swiftly thickened as she activated her Byakugan. This battle had become less of a spar and more of an issue of pride. If a Hyūga, the heiress no less, had been defeated by an Uchiha in their area of specialization, Taijutsu, then the entire clan would be too ashamed to call themselves one of Konoha's noble clans.

"As the host I should extend the curtesy to you, the first move is yours."

Shura sighed and scratched his head when Sagiso went into the mansion for her duel. "Darn it, we're just wasting time this way." He said out loud. "Its not practical to split up like this, come on Shiho." He said before walking into the mansion with Shiho following him. They arrived at the training halls where Shura walked into the one Sagiso was in while Shiho noticed the fight that was in the other room and went there instead. Shura sat down in beside the entrance. "Hurry this up, we don't have time for this." He said.

Rasa pondered, his small team of sand jounin guards there along side him. He had very little interest in pursuing the sound, especially to help a nation that was better off than his. He had his own people to look after. Rasa overlooked the hyuga manor is which the genin has all gathered for the speech. He decided to clear his throat and do the same, walking on the roof top of the building.

“Attention, all Suna genin. While we mourn for the loses from the leaf and sand this day, we cannot afford to leaf our own village open for attack. We must defend our nation, as we do not know where he may strike mext. All members of our village are to return back to it immediately. Those who stay here to help with this predicament will do so on their own risk, and will not have their safety guaranteed with my convoy. That is all.”

With that, rasa turned his back, as well as the sand jounin as they began to make their way back toward the tattered Kohona gates.

.........

A blue streak raced across the leaf village, searching for a certain animal that would help to find the location of Kiro, or his last known location. He had buzzed past several people and bystanders and on to a secluded area, where he had begun sneaking in to the hyuga mansion....

"There's no way to know for sure." Madoka started to say, before someone else began to speak to the Genin as Madoka tried to listen into the conversation. Due to the distance, Madoka failed to make out all the words spoken to the Genin within the Hyuga Yard but she was able to pick up on some key words.

Orochimaru...

Tracking....

Teams....

Madoka took those and a couple other key words as she turned to Mori, Yasu & Tomiko and decided to offer her best guess as to what was being said there.

"My guess is that Konoha are forming teams with those Genin to track the Sound-nin who have fled. Though this is just a guess." Madoka admitted but it seemed plausible enough. Even if the idea of sending Genin to deal with the lacks of a Sannin and his nation's forces seemed suicidal more than anything.

Something her own Kage seemed to agree with, as she overheard the cry for Rasa to recall all Suna-nin. Something she may have answered in any other context. However, as Madoka glanced at the Genin and specifically her friend Sakura she let out a sigh.

Apologies Lord Kazekage. But I cannot leave my friend to die when I can do something to help.

"I'm going to go see what is going on. And if it is what I think it is...I am gonna help. My friend is among that Genin and I've seen what the Oto-nin can do. I suggest you all take your leave, this would be insanely dangerous and..."

"Which one is your friend?"

Tomiko's simple question caught Madoka off guard. And upon Tomiko repeating it, Madoka motioned to the pink-haired kunoichi as Tomiko scanned her and gave a nod.

"Okay. Well, if you want to help here then I'm coming to." Tomiko said as Madoka seemed to object to that idea.

"You can't be serious? I mean, your arms are improving but they are still not 100%. There is no way you can compete in any sort of mission with them. Let alone something like this if it is what I believe it is." Madoka said in protest as Tomiko looked her friend in the eye and immediately Madoka knew Tomiko had that...that look to her. The one where no matter what you told her she had her mind made up and she was not gonna change it.

"I get that, but hey are not completely useless and I've got pretty good legs. Besides, can't you just Frankenstein my arms like you did that Taiyo guy?" Tomiko asked which caused Madoka to give her friend a deadpan expression.

"Depends. Do you want me to amputate your arms?" Madoka asked which quickly caused Tomiko's face to pale as she quickly gave a nod no. Madoka let out a sigh...before she thought it over carefully and some possibility did emerge.

"Well, there might be a way to help you out. Wouldn't even take me that much time. Though I cannot do it alone, I need a skilled medical-nin to help with the process. Funny, Sakura would be great for that and..."

"And!? There's no and my friend! If that is the friend you are talking about.

"I-it is but..."

"But nothing! Let's go to her and get my arms prime for punching!" Tomiko said as she seemed prepared to enter the Genin area at a moment's notice. Clearly, the possibility of having fully functioning arms was enough for her to be willing to charge ahead.

Aisha, Sakura & Ino listened to the instructions give to them; as did Takato as it seemed that they would be sent to deal with the retreating Oto forces. Takato appreciated the warning given that they would have to fight on top of other "security" measures. So at the very least Konoha was not blind to how dangerous this was. Even if he still felt this was too risky for his taste, he knew he couldn't protest the decision. Though finding a team might have been harder for him to do.

"So, we pick our own teams? Awesome! I think three of us would do well." Aisha suggested to Sakura & Ino...though before either had time to accept Ino had been yanked away from the pair by another group of Konoha-nin who had been smitten with the Yamanaka in the academy days and as such "recruited" her into their team. Much to Ino's horror.

"Well, make that two of us." Sakura said with a sigh and a sweat drop, though before Aisha responded she began to sniff the air as she caught a familiar sent in the distance and had a toothy grin.

"No, three. I'll be right back. Gotta go "recruit" and all that." Aisha said as she dashed forward with her wolves Luna & Sky in toe as she moved outside the Hyuga Compound and caught a understandably surprised Kenji observing the scene as Aisha was quickly face to face with the Kumo-nin.

"Hey Kenji! Listen, there's this big mission we're part of and Sakura & I would just love it if you could lend a hand." Aisha asked, though before Kenji had a chance to accept or decline the offer Aisha grabbed him by the collar as he hoped over the Hyuga Compound wall with him as Luna & Sky followed and moved back over to Sakura; who seemed just as confused as Kenji had moments ago.

"Got our third teammate!"

Yusa was a bit confused when he heard “marriage” though he was not paying most attention to what she was saying and heard it was time to go. “Sorry were gonna have to cut this short, it looks like we have to go. We can have your match later” he turned and left the training hall. Lily saw her brother leaving the hall and decided that it was time to go “well we’re gonna have to pick this up at a later date, I think we have to leave” Lily said while deactivating her sharingan.

"I will join too just in case if Tomiko needs help, even if it means to be surrounded by Leaf ninja." Mori shuddered a little before regaining his composure. "What do you say Yasu? Are you joining or are you going back to Suna?" There was no taunting meaning behind that question, which was odd considering he just had a verbal fight with Yasu but he guessed it was a nice way to show that they made up.

Shiho sighed in disappointment when Lily called off the fight. In the other room, Shura got up and walked out. "Good decision, let's not waste any more ti-." He was cut himself off when he felt a presence. "There's some one here." He said out loud. He activated his Byakugan and located Kai. "Show yourself!" He shouted before dropping his chain.

“The Xeno that is known as Sagiso.”

The intruding mist ninja said, after being discovered close by his position by Shura. He abandoned his position, melding out of a puddle of water and landing nearby the Xeno in question. Indeed he had shown himself, donning his infamous hunter-nin mask. He was surrounded by the animals, but only one animal amongst them held the information he required.

“You know the wearabouts of Kiro of the mist. You were fighting alongside him in a cave system against a metal coated ninja called Reaver. Tell me where he has gone. Now.”

He had hoped to spring his surprise on her when she were more isolated rather than begging exposed by the male hyuga so quickly. Suppose he underestimated the eyesight of the byakugan

Sagisō

"You were lurking around here just for that?"

Straightening her body and crossing her hands behind her back she yawned, stretching her body till she'd raised to the tips of her toes. With an enigmatic smile on her face, she began baiting the mist ninja, "You know, I haven't seen him since leaving the caves...but I do know someone who was with him when I left~"

Well, she knew several people who were still with Kiro when she left, one just happened to be standing right beside her. She was sure Shura was still there after Hinagiku hadn't taken her a Furījia away, and so were Kanji, Raiku, and Taiyo. She wasn't exactly sure which name would bring her closest to her goals, but I think certainly wouldn't be Shura, she had to at least bait the most ninja into this little expedition of theirs first.

"And I thought I was only half Xeno?" She tilted her head to the side, looking at the most ninja curiously. She'd also wanted to tell him that puddles of chakra filled water just idly pooling around would've been easily caught by anyone with a dojustu...it was just far too suspicious. In the end, she held her tongue, not particularly eager to help someone sneak up on her.

"I feel I can speak for myself on this matter, Lady Hinagiku." Jiraiya said with a more formal tone than per usual. A slight smile on his face all the same before the Toad Sage would add on.

"And nah. The title of Kage never fit me that well. Besides, there are more qualified people to take up this temporary measure." Jiraiya said, as he stressed the temporary part which showed his faith that Minato would recover from his injuries. Though whether that faith was well placed or blind due to his status as Minato's former sense remained to be seen. Danzo in turn scoffed at being cut off by Jiraiya before he would face & address the Hyuga.

"Indeed, we do need to address this. But making sure we have as many able bodies for this mission of yours is the top priority right now." Danzo explained, before he whispered to one of his aids who offered a nod and vanished. Danzo knew nobody would protest more help in this matter, and with a pair of Jinchuriki still out there and up for grabs he had a recruit who might serve the village's needs and that of his own quite nicely.

A lone ANBU sat meditating in a headquarters before being notified that he was to capture two Jinchuriki. He stood up quickly and put on his mask.

"I finally get to work for Lord Danzo on a major task again. I hope my training wasn't useless..."

And with that he disappeared into the shadows, as is the work of an ANBU.

Raiku had been notified of him being requested by the head of the clan by a fellow Uchiha which was heading to the Hyuga clan area. He followed the Uchiha and heard of the briefing before noticing Taiyo was along the Genin and walked over to him.

"Well, how about we find out where these scum are and if they try to fight us, we beat em up!" he said enthusiastically to his friend.

“That may be the case, but your still part Xeno never the less, embracing the Xeno ways. If you aren’t a Xeno you should act like it. Humans should not be in the mud with pigs.”

Kai was very much aware about Sagiso’s personality, and how she manipulated her opponet’s mind into allowing her to get what she wants. That’s how she beat him in the chunnin exams. He wasn’t going to be outsmarted by the likes of her again.

“You are very much a piece of his puzzle, don’t try to weasel out of this like you usually do” he said, pointing a senbon at her, before pointing it at Shura. “Both of you. Explain what happened, my nose is getting disgusted just begging in this ‘building’.”

........

Reaver stopped in his tracks, motioning toward Azumi to stop as well. He was tinkering with his mechanical suit’s shoulder when he stopped. The should proofed back into the scroll as he analyzed the situation.

“Azumi. Look.”

Reaver pointed toward a explosive tag, put along their path. It seemed deliberate, like their attacker was to blow them sky high the moment they stepped near it.

“We have someone expecting us.”

Shura stared at Kai when he pulled out the Senbon. "I don't know who this Kiro is, but if you're going to threaten and disrespect people in the Hyuga manor then I'm going to ask you to leave." He began swinging his chain around slowly. "By force if I have to." He added. "That mask, it's probably from the Hidden mist village, from what I know, the Hidden mist is has some dangerous shinobi in it, this situation could get bad if it keeps going." He thought.

When Lily saw the Senbon, it brought her back to some memories and she looked straight at kai “look we have somewhere to be so could you just leave please” she said taking out a kunai, Yusa just looked at kai and took out a kunai behind his back and thought “.....something’s off about him, he seems......cold in a way and if he has that mask that makes it all the more reason that he’s one of the mist.”

Sagisō

Her gaze focused on her nails instead of Kai (she hadn't been wearing her gloves) Sagisō's demeanor was one of utter nonchalance. She confirmed once again that the Mist had some sort of secret training -or drugs- that gave their Shinobi unparalleled levels of confidence, or turned them all into lunatics. She wasn't quite sure which one it was, maybe some for of ninja ecstasy... He already knew a fight with her would pull a draw in a 1 vs 1 situation, so now that it was a 1 vs 6 in her favor...why was he the one making demands? Furthermore, he was in the middle of the Hyūga mansion, if she so much as screamed there was no way he'd be able to escape the residence's walls before being captured. He was already incapable of forcing her to do anything one on one, so why did he think he could do the same when the odds were stacked against him to an impossible degree? If these weren't the actions of a lunatic that what was?

Directing her deadpan gaze and voice at Kai, she spoke, "If you want to find Kiro then I guess you should follow along, then you might be able to see him." She then strolled right past the mist Shinobi, not the least bit concerned with whatever he'd said or the tense atmosphere he'd managed to build. "You guys coming?" Throwing another glance over her shoulder she questioned, before walking off to the warehouse to collect the provided gear.

Exiting the other training hall Furījia followed after Sagisō seeming just as unconcerned as her older sister, if not moreso.

The Leaf-nin smirked at his friend's suggestion, he put his hand on Raiku's shoulder, a solemn look on his face.
"As tempting as that sounds, I dunno if we can stand a chance against everyone, I mean, you quit the exams around the first part and I broke my organic arms. As much as I hate myself for saying it, most fighters might be out of our league," Taiyo hoped that Raiku understood what he was trying to get at. He took his hand off of Raiku's shoulders and cracked his knuckles, re-adopting his smirk.
"But that won't stop us from trying, right?"

Kai didn’t even turn his head as Sagiso passed him. He figured she either truly didn’t know as much information as he thought or was too much of a nuisance to actually get much information out of. Meanwhile he had another option. Shura apparently was the other hyuga that was at the scene of the fight. He kept his senbon pointed at him specifically as he shrugged off the half Xeno’s existence.

“I will not leave until all just ninja are accounted for. Now I know for a fact you protected a chunnin known as Kiro, from the hands of Reaver, a certain mechanized ninja. You have eyes, so you must have seen what had happened.”

Kai didn’t want to be here longer than he had to be to get the next lead on Kiro’s wearabouts. He was a hunter nin, it would be a disgrace not to find his target. He was prepared to do whatever means neccicary to make sure that his mission was a success, even if it meant killing a few animals

Shura looked as Sagiso spoke and walked pass the mist ninja nonchalantly. He then turned back towards Kai. "I do remember helping someone against a certain mechanized ninja, but I don't know where he went after the fight." He then put his chain away and followed Sagiso. "We have a mission to do, if you're done here then leave, stop waisting our time." He said as he walked pass Kai. Shiho walked out of the training hall after Furijia. "What happened here?" She said out loud while looking around. She then saw Shura and followed him.

Kai was now infuriated with the ignorance that the Xeno slime was showing to him. The room got colder after Shura spoke, water looked into the floors from several rooms, sinks leaking the fluid as well As showers, flood grates, and other fixtures containing water. Kai flopped around the moment Shura walked past him and threw a senbon past his head, nicking a hair on his head and pinning the hair to the wall with extreme accuracy.

“Hunter nin are also know as the body vanishers, because we are so effective at our means of killing people and disposing of their corpses to where no one can ever find them. Now...one of you two well tell me what REALLY happened, as I examined the site myself. Kiro’s position was right on top of yours, like you were ‘protecting’ him. You cannot fool my ears.”

Shura stopped when the Senbon flew beside his head and chipped his hair. He glance back towards Kai with an unchanged expression. "Nice trick, were you trying to intimidate me?" He said, unimpressed And you're making a mess of the place." He added after looking at the water. Shiho looked at her brother with a hesitant look. "Uh, bro? Are you sure its a good idea to taunt this guy?" He asked. Shura then turned back around. "If Sagiso, I think that's what he called her, doesn't see this guy as a threat then it's probably fine." He said. "Speaking of, you should do what she says and follow her if you want to find this Kiro, she probably knows more than me." He added before walking off.

Kai tsked as with a flick of his wrist, water emerged from underneath the floorboards, rising to hit the Ceiling in front of Sagiso like a Geiser and froze it, effectively creating a wall of ice. The room seemed to fill with an ice wind. Kai pointed at the pair with a commanding tone.

“Do you think this is a game? A family members is missing. When you obstruct my means to find my family, you forfeit your right to live.” He said as water seemed to whip up around his legs. “And you two fought at least one powerful combatant today, and Sagiso you have fought three. I am fresh full of chakra and energy. You both know In the states your in you have no hope to beat someone with my skills. Now answer me. NOW.”

Sagisō

"No hope? You know, I've never quite experienced a situation like that, and I'd love to try it."

Having been blocked by the wall of Ice, Sagisō was now understandably irked. Kai was right, in this situation she'd started out with a sever disadvantage, from the chunin exams, to Dosu, to Reaver, to her brief bout with Shura, all the chakra she currently had was from the short breaks she'd gotten between battles. Her current chakra reserves were a fraction of what's they should've been had she been fresh. However, Kai had still greatly miscalculated.

Still, Sagisō didn't really have the intention of battling Kai here, she needed to conserve her chakra and stamina for the recon mission, and a journey of several miles while injured didn't sound pleasant to her. However, to hell with that, she whipped around a menacing glint in her crimson eyes as she stared down the hunter-nin. "I'll tell you once more, if you want to find Kiro, your only option is to follow along. You won't be getting any alternatives from me."

“There’s no point in talking to him”Yusa said and threw a kunai at his opponent and thought to the back of his head “ I know he’s going to block it, which is why I came prepared!” He threw a barrage of kunai’s at Kai “block each one or you can block them all and take a surprise I’ve set up!” He said out loud while he was weaving a few hand signs and was preparing a jutsu, Lily did the same.

Shen: King of Digimon

Kai rolled his eyes at both Sagiso and Yusa, as he stomped his foot, another ice wall forming between Kai and yusa witgout even looking in her direction. The kunai impacted the ice wall and bounced off or imbedded onto the wall. With a hand, he made a single handsign, the walls on both sides of her slid like mashers, closing in on her position.

From under the floorboards, water remedies and crystallized, deathspikes coming up to meet her. The walls coming to crush her grew spikes as well. It was a multi directional attack. The explosives on the tags were about to explode as they actually helped with the attack. She was utterly surrounded.

Kai seemed to proving minimal effort on her while he was focused on Sagiso.

“I know how much family means to you. As family means the world to me. I’ll cut you a deal. Your family for mine. Simple as that.”

Azumi stopped when she stopped the same thing that Reaver did...an explosive tag laid out in front of them. Perfectly set so that if they had been near it they would have been blown to pieces which could not have been a coincidence. Azumi considered the possible scenarios as she placed one hand on her umbrella she had strapped to her back before she turned to Reaver.

"Either this is a precaution trap for anyone who might wander down this trail...or we are not alone here. Keep your guard up, without your suit and fatigue from your previous battle you need to be careful. And we need to watch our step." Azumi advised to her Ame-companion as she began to scout the immediate area as she tried to find clues of anyone who might be observing them. Azumi quickly formed some hand signs as she whispered a water clone jutsu before she faced said clone.

"Scout the area. Be mindful to keep your appearance obscured and keep an eye out for more explosive tags and any possible individuals who might set it. Do not engage if you do." Azumi instructed as the clone vanished to being its patrol before she turned to Reaver.

"Keep close and keep your eyes peeled." Azumi advised as she swiftly moved in a different path around the explosive tag as she was more mindful of her surroundings.

Sagisō

"Firstly, threaten my family again and either the Yuki or the Hyūga will no longer exist in a few years, secondly, you're barking up the wrong tree, I was unconscious when that whole cave situation ended so I've no clue where the prodigal Uchiha is, third, I've already answered you, the best I can do for you is let you follow along and maybe you'll find someone with the answers you're looking for, fourthly..."

With the start of her fourth point, her hands crossed each other rapidly, becoming nothing but a blur. Oddly, she seemed to have pulled a kunai out of thin air, but more importantly, there was a paper bomb attached to it. She waved the kunai in front of her, making sure Kai could see it clearly, "What's stopping me from setting this off and attracting an entire clans worth of Jonin?"

Shura watched the ice walls close in and turned towards Kai. "Its a bit late for negotiation." He said before turning towards Sagiso. "She's right, you're in our territory right now." He said while looking back at Kai with a smirk on his face.

Kai has enough of Sagiso’s attitude. She outsmarted him and made him change his plans several times during their encounters. Not this time. He’d stand strong. “Simple, you’d never do that or else this innocent little girl dies!”

His technique in order to perfect it and drive home the peril of lily’s Situation, he made a ew more handsigns and put both of his hands together. The sounds of pipes bursting were heard as from the ceiling, as the water crystallized. It shattered the wood above her as it spidered out like several death spikes.

The walls to her sides of the wall buckled, but they didn’t burst. It was if something lurk behind the walls but didn’t come out. Now there were two spiked plates rushing toward her, one of which with explosives rushing toward her. Under her spikes spidering up and same as above her. And the walls had unknown problems lying behind them, possible hazards or otherwise. Kai has both of his hands together, sweating a bit as he focused his jutsu in place.

“Yuki clan secret technique: Absolute Death: half state!”

He didn’t have the knowledge nor the expertise to create a full cube of ice, that was for high members of the Yuki clan to master. It was used to compress and smash enemies, forming them into tight little meat cubes to dissapear or transport easily. He had leverage. HEAVY leverage. The two weakened ninja were in no state to take out all the prongs of attack.

“You can stop this. Either you take me to the site, OR SHE DIES!!!!!!”

...........

“On it...”

Reaver has no weapons drawn out, but was repairing some gears for his suit, which had been previously damaged by Mori. He smirked them out and refined their shape using his metal manipulation. He had slowly been trying to repair the catastrophic seizure of the mark within the shoulder Mori had caused, which he had to admit was a flaw in it’s design.

He kept his eye peeled, as suggested. There was a chance the sound or Yuki clan could have lead it behind them. He carefully jumped to a branch away from the paper bomb and crouched as to peer into the tree line for an attacker.

Sagisō

Raising her hands in surrender, Sagisō sighed, "Fine, you win, I'll take you."

She didn't have a clue what Kai was on about, or why he seemed to think she wouldn't let the girl die, but nevertheless she conceded to his demands. After a moment of consideration she came to the conclusion that he was simply beyond her understanding, or maybe he just wanted her to conced to him. Whatever the case might've been, it'd been quite the spectacle he'd displayed only to demand what she'd been offering him from the start. Not that it really mattered, she was too lazy to deal with this...and she'd get scolded if someone died on Hyūga property. But...who was that girl again?

Kai grinned madly underneath his mask. He had finally beaten the hyuga queen of tactics at a mind game he had crafted. An impossible scenario to be sure, and as expected she caved to morality. He had to remember that weakness and surely exploit it later if needed.

The walls racing toward lily skidded, slowing down before they caved in on themselves. The one with the explosives attached folded inwards on itself, the explosives detonating safley inside of it. The spikes retracted from the ceiling and the ground, as the floor began to get stitched back together, or somewhat anyway.

Kai stopped using his justu and whiped a bead of sweat away. He turned to Sagiso, completely ignoring the no doubt rattled girl he nearly impaired several ways to Hell.

“Good. As you can see, your not the one in control here.” Kai said pointing a finger at her. “Now you and Shura here will take me to the site of the attack and will walk me through the events of what happened. Every little detail...”

It had worked out better than expected to say the least. He had hoped now to cover his tracks of being there, at least for an hour. With sagiso and Shura’s knowledge he was sure to get the puzzle pieces neccicary to solve this puzzle

Oh fantastic. We've got another loon running around. Just what is needed now.

Takato had entered the Hyuga Compound away from the field after instructions were given for Genin to form their own teams, as he figured his odds of being avoided were better if he hid himself inside. It wasn't like Takato was actively trying to avoid aiding his nation but it was just he felt this plan was suicidal and he'd likely just get in the way of more talented nin. However, as his luck would have it, he saw a glimpse of the battle between a Kiri-nin along with one of the Hyuga and a Konoha-nin. Takato took his chance to mask his presence as he simply observed the battle up to the point where the Hyuga seemingly gave into the Kiri-nin's demands. Whatever those were. Takato aimed to observe and perhaps pick up on what the Kiri-nin desired out of all this because only someone with a plan or an utter idiot would attack a Hyuga member within the Hyuga Compound. And whatever he was fighting for to make a risk like that had to be big, so he had not been in a position to ignore this even if it had been his preference.

Well, this seems like just a lovely situation. This day just keeps getting better and better...

Shura sighed as he listened to Kai. "Like I said, when I left the scene, this Kiro was still there and I didn't see where he went. Sagiso was knocked unconscious and taken away before me so she probably can't have known where he went either." Shura explained. "But it seems she has an idea you should just follow her if you want to find who you're looking for."

Sagisō

"If we do what you're suggesting then you'll never find Kiro, the relevant sections of the cave have been flooded and I can't believe many clues would still remain after that flooding. You'll have wasted a bunch of my time and effort, and I don't intend to let you."

Placing her hands on her hips, Sagisō asserted herself, making it rather clear she didn't care who Kai thought was 'in charge'. "If you want so much as a shot at finding Kiro then I don't mind helping you, but it certainly won't be in those caves. I do know how important family is and I'd murder everyone in here without batting and eye to protect that family."

She was of course referring to Kai, Lily and Yasu, because the other people in the room were her family and murdering them would be counter productive. "If you want some info on Kiro then your best bet is Zaku, he's from the sound. Whatever strange chakra he'd used in the semifinals of the chunin exams had also been implanted into Kiro. Kiro had been severely weakened when I found him and I'd passed out towards the end, but connecting the dots I'd imagine that he's been taken by the sound."

At that point, Sagisō stopped speaking and gestured to Furījia, allowing her to take over the explanation.

Furījia

Noticing her sisters gesture, Furījia coordinated with her and picked up the explanation where Sagisō left off. She was far more familiar with this portion that Sagisō was.

"It's not that well known outside the leaf, but the reason why Orochimaru was exiled was because his lust for learning jutsu was so great that he'd even commit Forbidden experiments to gain new jutsu. I'm sure you know that one of the abilities of the Sharingan is copying ninjutsu."

With all the information provided it would've easy for Kai to see the logic in their story, and know where he needed to go to find clues on Kiro. After allowing then hunter-nun some time to think, Furījia watched as Sagisō continued, "we're about to do recon on the sound right now, you're welcome to tag along. It's your best bet at finding Kiro, and even if he's not there the cave would've drained by the time we got back and I'll be able to show you what happened. It's not a bad proposal eh~?"

Kai put his fingers to his chin, And she pondered over the new information he has received. This orochiamru seemed to be the same Orochimaru as his father had told him who had orchestrated the attack. The snake he had found Kiro next to bore a similar resemblance to the one he killed to protect Kiro in the Forest of death.

And apparently the symbol he had received then was the same one Zaku had used to attack Katsuo with. If that was truly the case...then Kiro was being prepped for the slaughter, especially seeing as how his blood was found by a dead snake earlier. The same snake genin from the forest of death...was Orochimaru! They were trying to kill him again and take his kekkei genkai! Of course!

“...it seems as though the factors add up with this new information. The mist will not allow any of our family to be left to such a vile Xeno. Even by Xeno standards, the snake is sadistic. Or so I’ve heard. No fate ideal for a mist blood.”

His violent demeanor slowly calmed, but his hatred remained. Instead of being pointed toward Sagiso, it was pointed toward Orochiamru and his band of sound ninja. He cleared his throat, directly addressing Sagiso, ignoring her sister of 100% Xeno blood.

“You would go through great lengths to see your family safe. Kiro is your family too. You are half mist and half leaf. He is an Uchiha and from the mist. Your duty is to both. So you are honorbound to assist me in recovering him from the clutches of the sound!”

He seemed to rewrite the idea of teams to be more recovery oriented, like his only goal was to retrieve him and then leave. He counted on sagiso’s Bond of family to come to a mutual understanding
