Shura listened to Sagiso. "Huh, yeah your idea seems better, I'll do that instead." He said as he hung his chain on a low branch a bit further ahead. Shura then got ready to dash off. "Hey you, Takato, deploy your shadow as soon as I'm off, that way your shadow will reach the targets as soon as I jump out." Shura said as he bent down. "Got to make this as swift as I can." He thought before activating his Byakugan and dashing off.

"Alright, let's go" Shiho said as she followed Raiku. She then heard Raiku's question and saying he's an Uchiha. "Oh that's cool, I a Hyuga, as you can probably tell from my white eyes." She responded. "What about you Taiyo?" She asked.

Taiyo
The genin's interest was perked when the subject of clans were mentioned. Taiyo was curious on how it felt being related to a large majority of strangers, but he was content not being a part of a clan.
"Not part of any clan, just plain old Taiyo Akugami," He smiled warmly at his teammates, feeling confident that they could prove to be useful and also Raiku's words echoed in his head, which added to his sense of satisfaction.

Takato had already moved to position as he kept his gaze directed on the Sound Four ahead of them while he kept his own figure hidden in the foliage. Takato overheard Shura's words as he took note of the low chain which seemed to be there to make his job easier. Takato prepared some hand signs as he carefully whispered his technique.

"Ninja Art: Shadow Possession Jutsu."

Takato moved his shadow as it sleeked along the ground and eventually under the chain as Takato took a deep breath before he branched it out into four parts. Trying to ensnare and hold more the one target at once was gonna be a challenge. But he only needed to hold them for a moment to allow Shura & Sagiso to do their thing.

As the shadows stealthy moved to positions, Tayuya had been up as she greeted her companions with that usual friendly & cheerful personality.

"Hey fatass! Are you ready to go with the cargo or what?" Tayuya asked Jirobo as she seemed the most eager to get going as she felt they had been moving slow enough as it was. Though a faint woosh caught her attention as she turned her head to look as she saw some blur move through the air to Jirobo.

M-my body...I can't move...

And found she could do little else as her body was frozen in place; as she had been caught by one of Takato's shadows as the other branches aimed to do the same to Jirobo, Sakon & Kidomaru as they aimed to ensnare their shadows all at once as her eyes widened.

"S-SHIT!"

Azumi took a moment to down a pain killer as she tried to suppress the headache before she turned to Reaver as he seemed to sleep in his suit. She figured as much, with the amount of pride he had in hit she assumed he'd marry it if he could but that had been beside the point as Azumi quickly placed the Forbidden Scroll in another scroll to seal it before she placed that scroll in her pocket and turned to Reaver.

"We are leaving. I want to make it past the border before nightfall." Azumi said as she made her rather ambitious goal clear to Reaver. She then jumped forward to a tree as she motioned for Reaver to follow as she began their journey once more. Unknown to her, Azumi & Reaver would pass a clearing that happened to be close to where Zaku had set up camp which could provide an interesting sight for a curious eye...

Kenji had moved into position along with the kunoichi before he heard the faint sounds of something that followed them as Kenji had a smirk on his face.

Someone thinks they can get the drop on us? Well we'll see about that...

Kenji turned with a kunai in hand...only to see it was not an enemy, but Sagiso's sister Furijia. The one he had sworn to protect in the tunnels during the invasion. Immediately Kenji felt some guilt as he put his kunai aside while the new arrival got Aisha, Sakura & Madoka's attention. Sky & Luna also scanned the younger girl with curious stares.

"W-what are you doing here alone?" Kenji asked Furijia with a whisper as Madoka kept her focus on the spot Zaku & the boy were at just in case they were spotted. Just to play it safe.

Raiku smiled at Taiyo and kept on jumping.

A hyuga huh? Those are pretty good at taijutsu. Doesn’t the byakugan...

Raiku stooped and turned around.

“Can’t you see like around a dozen kilometers away? Say... you don’t suppose by now you could find the sound and the other teams... could you?”

“Tayuya you have to-“

Jirobo stopped midsentence what he was seemingly paralyzed by an unseen force. He gasped and gritted his teeth, but arms and legs completely motionless. Kidomaru was next to be hit, his extra arms giving more of a strain on the shadow possession justu. Sakon was the last to get hit, as he stood farther back from the group.

“...what?!?” Sakon yelled. “We’ve been set up!”

“This is the shadow possession justu, from the leaf village!” Kidomaru exclaimed, his hands twitching.

Jirobo was silent, as he tried to use his sheer muscle mass and chakra capacity to fight off the shadow possession justu. He wasn’t one to blindly be moved anywhere.


Perfect! Kai thought as it paralyzed the rest of the group. He wasn’t sure how long Takato could keep up he justu, as hijacking all four of them with rather unique body sets was surely difficult, especially for a genin. Kk waved for the rest of his team to move out, as he prepared some handsigns and a few unseen items.

Reaver had listened, half away to what Azumi said, he shrugged silently, grabbing his things and making his pace toward the rain as told so by the female ninja.

“You know, I wonder how the village hidden in the leaves has this much trees if they were brought into so many wars. It’s impressive.”

Yasu practically went pale when he heard Tomiko behind him. Was she awake to hear their conversation? No, she couldn't have been. She seemed to have just woken up, right? He was probably just being paranoid... Wait, why was he even worried about it? Who cared if she heard what he had said... WAIT, NO. HE CARED.

He sighed and turned around, shoving the Feather Dart in his hand back into the pouch it came from. Based on how she looked and acted, she had definitely just woken up. Relief flushed over Yasu and the color returned to his face.

"Y-Yeah, we've been up for a while. We just ate actually. How about you get over here and do that too so we can pack up and get moving."

"Morning Tomiko, we've been up for a while, yeah. Slept well?" Mori yawned before offering her some rations. "Eat up, you'll need it." He seemed to be less bothered by her awakening than Yasu, if he even was bothered by it at all. He took his new sword out of its sheath and inspected it as he never really had the time to spare to do this yesterday.

The sword was bigger than a tanto, so his speed with it was a little lower than he was used to, but it compensated for that with incredible sharpness and toughness. After cleaning it he resheathed it and waited for Tomiko to get ready.

"I still can't believe that there are this many plants and trees here, I swear that I am gonna faint from this much oxygen one day." It was a spur of the moment thought and he had no idea why he said it, but it didn't really matter and blamed it on his exhaustion.

Having already deployed, Shura jumped out of the forest as the sound four were hit by the shadow possession. He held a kunai in each hand with a red smoke bomb attached to each of them. He dove down and swiftly slashed the rope strapping the box to Jiboro before spinning his kunais in his hands and threw them on the ground near the middle of the camp, the smoke bombs would then explode and release a red smoke that would both block most of the vision from the sound ninjas and notify any other teams in the area nearby. After throwing the smoke bombs, Shura grabbed onto the box that was now free from Jiboro's possession. "This is pretty heavy, does this really contain one person?" He thought to himself as he pushed off his legs back towards the rest of his team in the forest.

Shiho looked at Raiku. "Well I could but no one asked me to." She said. She then activated her Byakugan and looked around, she then saw the smoke signal Shura released.. "Over there! I see a smoke signal." She shouted while pointing towards team Sagiso/Mist's location.

Sagisō

Sending Shura off with her eyes, Sagisō leaped from her hiding spot onto a nearby tree that allowed her a view of the entire battlefield. With a suppressed yelp, she signaled to Takato, "I'm going to line the ground with kunai, they won't create very long shadows but it's quantity over quality with this one. It'll take a chunk of chakra, but you can use thin shadow threads to weave a protective web around Shura. That'll give him a clear shot back to us, and any one that tries to rush up to him will end up at stepping on one of those threads and getting caught."

Her plan would, for the most part, eliminate any possibility of a physical attack. She herself would deal with any aerial attacks or those from other avenues. Still, she'd first need to create the connection points for her Shadow Web plan.

Pushing her wrist warmers down her hand, allowing the fabric to bundle at her wrists, Sagisō revealed two identical seals that she'd had drawn up along her arms. The two were weapon storage seals which held her impressive array of Shuriken, Kunai, senbon, and her other ninja tools as well as her chakram. Releasing a set of Shuriken from the seal took a negligible amount if chakra, and as a bonus their capacity was far more than any ninja pouch. Sweeping her hands past each other, a set of Shuriken appeared in her hands with an almost unnoticeable puff of smoke. Nadeshiko-style: Crimson Dance Performance! Her byakugan activating, Sagisō pinned her kunai around Shura in varying shapes and sizes, leaving a small distance between each for Takato to weave the polygonal shadow web.

Sweat dripped from Takato's forehead as already he began to feel the strain as he tried to keep the Sound 4 perfectly in place which proved to be far from a simple task. Trying to keep multiple bodies paralyzed with the shadow possession was hard for him on its own, but these four had rather...unique body types and each one seemed quite powerful so that only made it extra hard.

When Jirobo tried to force it, Takato grit his teeth as he added more chakra to try and strengthen his hold over the four and apply more pressure to keep them in place. Sagiso appeared with several kunai as he began to use their shadows to create a web around the Sound Four to strengthen his hold. Though even with this much appreciated help he knew he was on limited time.

Won't be able to keep them there for long. But gotta hold, just hold long enough to let them get a lead with the box. A few more seconds...

Tayuya cursed as she struggled against the grip of the shadows. She lacked Jirobo's strength to try and force out of it in her base power, which infuriated her all the more as she grit her teeth while she shook in place. Unable to stop the blur as he took the box Jirobo had which caused her to curse.

D-damn it! I swear the second I get out of this I am gonna make this shadow shit and these losers pay!

"It's easy when you ensure these wars happen on foreign soil. Konoha has been good at keep conflict away from their own land, well...recent events notwithstanding..." Azumi said, though she lacked the same impressed tone that Reaver had. The fact that a nation that caused her own so much pain only got a taste of what they had to experience made her sick. They were good at picking fights without paying any in consequence.

Azumi could not even enjoy this moment of karma, because she knew this nation would recover quickly. That's just how the world worked as it was, least for now...

Tomiko was pleased enough with her act, since neither Yasu or Mori seemed to question when she woke up as she gave a nod and took the rations from Mori and gave a thankful nod before she began to consume them.

"Yeah, it really is pretty." Tomiko admitted as she admired the trees around her. Despite the...less than pleasant history between her own nation and this one she had to admit the landscape. Then again, when one grew up in the slums she supposed anything came off as better. Though Tomiko had a clear appreciation of the foliage and its beauty as she handed Mori back the rations and stood up as she put her gauntlets on with their rubber sleeves as she faced the pair.

"Ready to head out?"

"I am ready, I just hope that none of us die today. We just started this mission." Mori put away the rations and covered the ashes from the fire with some dirt, effectively hiding any marks of a camp. He tapped Yasu on his shoulder and nodded at Tomiko. "Ready Yasu? We're heading out."

“Ngh....no!”

Jirobo was powerless to stop Shura from snatching the box from him. Sakon and tayuya seemed in equally paralyzed states, burn kidomaru had some twitching movement. With his six arms, Takato was no doubt alien to how to counteract his physiology. His hands twitched before one of his fingers managed to be flicked down.

“...What an interesting game!”

After he flicked a finger down, it was revealed that it was a thread, set to pull a trap. A fizzing bomb seemed to be shot out from the bushes, one of the traps that Kai had no doubt spotted, doubting it could be triggered in this manner. The fuse exploded, the flash bomb exploding into a large plume of light, not causing any damage to anyone, but enough to cause the bang. The shadows instantly contort and distort from the zone albeit temporarily. The large stress that the shadow possession was already causing would put takato in a desperate situation after the shadow connections were broken down in this way.

Jiorbo’s shadow stayed connected to him, but broken down. Using sheer force and chakra power, he managed to break off the rest of the shadow possession, yelling as he did so. The flash bomb gave the sound four a few moments to prepare for a counter attack. Kidomaru snickered as this seemed to work, a thread shooting from his wrist to connect with the web he had made above. He propelled himself to the tree tops, before shooting several sticky webs toward Takato, Sagiso, and Shura respectively.

“Sticky spider thread!”

Sakon lept off from his now broken shadow possession. Instead of fleeing from another attempt at the shadow possession, he charged ahead, storming toward Shura with a vengeance.

“No you don’t you little runt! Multiple fists barrage!”

His arms seemed to turning into several dozens at a time as his punches grudges through the air to slam into Shura, all the while the web hurtled toward his feet and legs.

Jirobo now free of his shadow possession, stomped on the ground, creating a large plate of rock. This large plate of rock came up like a wall as Jirobo presses his hands on it, shoving it toward the team’s general direction, as he was still blinded by looking into the flash.

“This isn’t right...”

Kai said as the flash went off. While the sound four seeming to be making unknown movements, they were making movements none the less. He opted for Tayuya, who was the furthest right of the group. He released his justu, while moving in silently toward tayuya’s position.

“Ice wall...” he whsipered.

The ice wall rose before his team, but it then shattered as it took Jirobo’s rock wall that was speeding toward them. He unknowingly saved his team from a steam rolling session by the hands
Of a rock barrier. But now they were unsheilded from further attacks. He circled into behind tayuya, taking out some senbon and chucking it toward her shoulder blades, aiming to impair her motor function and to prevent her from adding to the sound four’s layers of attack.

“Heh fair enough.”

Reaver has been messing with a flower petal, which was rare to find in the rain when he heard Azumi’s point. While he admired the leaf’s efficient way of running a war, it was still cowardice. Using clans like the Spinless nara and the unhonorable uzumaki, he couldn’t stand them wining a war. He grunted, standing up. After a few moments, a black fog escaped his gas mask.

“Hm?”

His gas mask was filtering unwanted toxins, which meant that there were some in the air. He looked around, noticing some smoke starting to rise from the distance. Reaver’s eye squinted at it.

“Speak of the devil.”

Sagisō

Her brow quirking slightly, Sagisō analyzed the condition of the battle field. Her victory conditions were simply allowing Shura to return, so she was merely running interference rather than elimination tactics. Within a second Sagisō had decided her course of action. Whipping out a paper bomb attached to a kunai, she dropped the ninja tool and weaved hand signs for Wind Release: Air Bullets!, ignoring Kidomaru's chakra threads. "Shura! Knock the box over and then dodge! Takato! If you can use the shadow stitching jutsu then grab the box after Shura knocks it over with those shadow tendrils!"

She'd kept her byakugan's range down only enough to cover the battlefield, thus she was able to observe everything at one and give orders depending on how the situation advanced. Kai had already taken the initiative to attack on of the sound ninja, so she let him be. She'd already determined that the spider threads wouldn't be able to hold either her or Shura for long, but she wasn't sure if Kai or Takato would fare as well as the two Hyūga. She figured Kai could freeze the threads before shattering them, so then, the one who'd be hindered most was Takato, and in that case, they shuold simply give him the box and have him retreat. Shura, Kai, and herself would be able to repel these sound ninja long enough to give Takato some head start time, and allow their allies to catch up. She didn't really care how Shura knocked the box over, but she guessed it would be through a mountain crusher or air palm. However, the moments the box was airborne would likely be the most critical moments of the encounter. She held the air bullets within her mouth precisely so she'd be ready for those moments.

While the gears of her mind were turning, the Kunai had fallen to around the level of the branch Sagisō was standing on. Gathering some chakra on the soles of her feet, Sagisō sucked the Kunai out of mid-air, and with a kick, she sent it flying. She'd thrown the kunai to a spot slightly in-front of Shura's current position. By the time the kunai landed, Shura would've already moved past it and it would land between him and Sakon where the paper-bomb would explode.

Although not everything could go according to her predictions, she was rather confident the situation wouldn't spiral out of control. As the sticky threads webbed their way around her body her eyes tracked the positions of the sound four, her team mates, and the kunai she'd thrown.The force of the webs had knocked her off the branch, but that was something she'd allowed. She hadn't inject any chakra into her grounded foot to keep her pinned to the tree's surface, so it was only natural she'd be easily dislodged. She knew she'd be able to sever the spider threads before she hit the ground, but she was considering playing dead to lure the sound into thinking they'd taken her out of the fight. A surprise attack launched from a 'defeated' foe, could potentially be of critical importance.

Taiyo looked over to where Shiho indicated and saw the smoke signals of Team Sagiso/Team Mist.
"Alright, let's land there and see of they need backup," The Leaf-nin then descended to the location of the signal to see how the other team was holding up. As he and Raiku landed, he observed his surroundings as he saw them. Sagiso, Shura, and Takato were under attack by Kidomaru, the first of which was ordering her teammates.
"Hey, need any help? Cause I've got it right here," Taiyo asked the others, expecting him to be shot down and be told to leave them alone.

Takato cursed as his shadows wavered which had been just enough to allow Tayuya some movement. Tayuya took advantage of said movement as she pulled out a kunai with an explosive tag and tossed in in the direction of where the shadow extended from that grabbed her; trying to trace it to the source as she became frozen again. Takato had only just overheard what Sagiso advised before the kunai impaled itself on the tree next to Takato as his eyes widened as he began to move.

"Boom bitch!"

An explosion covered the immediate area where Takato seemed to be as the shadows retreated from Tayuya and the other Sound Four which freed them from their paralyzing prison as Tayuya smirked before she bit her thumb; drawing blood as she then slammed it to the flood.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Smoke covered her area momentarily as before long three of the demonic Doki appeared around Tayuya as they acted as living barriers from the senbon as their bulk kept them from reaching Tayuya; they also as their used their weapons & strength to block the projectile attacks as even the ones that seemed to strike did no visible damage. Though given their expressionless features whether they felt any pain from the ones that snuck through to struck them was impossible to tell. Tayuya eyed Kai, Sagiso & Shura and took note of the new arrivals which only caused her to give them a frightful smirk as she pulled out her flute.

"Oh, I am gonna enjoy this. You brats are leaving with shit you got it?" Tayuya spat before she began to play a song. Immediately the Doki charged at the attackers with superhuman speed as the one with a large club aimed to smash Sagiso to dust, though its pattern was slightly indirect as Tayuya tried to account for the air bullets the Hyuga seemingly prepared while the bandaged Doki charged Taiyo and his party as it aimed to deliver a bone crushing kick to his chest. The third Doku with a pair of retractable blades charged Kai as it aimed to try and get to him to slice him in half before he fired another senbon assault.

Furījia

Rather startled that Kenji's team had managed to spot her despite the distance between them, the young Hyūga fumbled over her words, "Um-eh...errr..." The young girl blushed, shrinking into a ball as she squeaked out her reasons for following them, "I, uhhh, don't have a team...and maybe I could...join yours?"

Sagisō

'Tsk, annoying.' Clicked her tongue with irritation, Sagisō released a wind bullet, launching her body away from the Doku's attack, the chakra threads around her fell away in fine threads as if they'd encountered a storm of kamaitachi. Wind Nature chakra was sometimes wielding by molding chakra into thin, sharp lines to slice and dice opponents to pieces. Sagisō had applied the same concept to shred the spider webs that had coated her body. Having rid herself of her restraints and dodged the doku, Sagisō spat the remaining two bullets towards Tayuya.

Raiku took notice of the Doki charging at Taiyo and prepare hand seals before putting his hand to his mouth.

"Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!"

He sent out a fire ball in order to stop the Doki from attacking his friend and then looked at his surrounding and saw Tayuya controlling the Doki with her flute so he did hand seals once more.

"Fire Style: Pheonix Flower Jutsu!"

He sent out a barrage of small flames surrounding her from multiple directions and also concealed shuriken in them.

Taiyo
The Leaf genin almost got harmed by the Dojo if it weren't for Raiku saving him with a Fireball. Taiyo smiled at his friend before turning to face Tayuya, a blazing fire lit in his eyes.
"Listen here, sound bitch, this is where you fight your last battle. Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!" The Leaf-nin proceeded to fire the ball at Tayuya, although it was likely that he could be attacked by other members of the sound four. Once that was a considerable distance away from him, he called out yet another Jutsu.
"Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" He joined Raiku in firing various fireballs at Tayuya, although he was jumping arpund and flipping as he fired his fireballs, and his had no weapons stored in it.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Shura watched as everything happened around him. "Tsk, looks like the plan didn't work." He said to himself before throwing the box in to the air like Sagiso said, he then weaved a few hand signs. "Air Breath!" He shouted as he blew the box further into the air. He the turned around and instead of dodging, he grabbed the kunai with the explosive tag that was coming his way and charged at Sakon. "Seeing as Takato is preoccupied, I have to improvise." He thought as he was hit by Sakon's attack. As Shura dropped the kunai right in front of Sakon, he smirked under his mask. "Good thing I took precautions." He said as he turned into a puff of smoke. The Shura that was at the front was actually a shadow clone as a blur ran out of the forest after grabbing the chain that was hung off of the tree branch. The real Shura appeared as he jumped and threw his chain which would wrap around the club of the Doki attacking Sagiso. He would then pull on the chain and cause the club to hit its wielder.

The box was airborne before a ribbon suddenly wrapped around it and pulled it to the side. The one who grabbed the box was Shiho as she set the box down on the branch she was standing on. "Hey Bro, what's in this?" She asked casually.

What on the great mist are THOSE?!? Kai didn’t know what to make of the Dokis, they seemed to give a grosteque look into the souls of his enemies: ugly, twisted, and full of hatred. It was these elements that separated him from that of the Xenos

Speaking of Xenos, as soon as he said this, several of them came from the woodwork, shooting fire like they weren’t in Completely flammable forest. Of course, he didn’t mind that they were throwing their heads into harms way, as long as either of them were killed it was fine by Kai. He decided to pitch in with the attempt, summoning two ice spears next to him, thrusting then at Tayuya. If one of them were down, that’s oukd limit their pursuers. But it as near time to leave.

Upon the Doki leaping toward him, he responded by shooting a swift shot of water toward his enemy, the water crystallizing after hitting the Doki’s face. He wasn’t sure just how much it would do to these odd creatures but it was his best bet. He lunged out of the way of it’s trajectory after he did this.

As tayuya was swamped by fire, wind, and ice alike, Jirobo gasped at the situation. He couldn’t leave his teammate, let alone a lady be thrown into such a deadly situation. He clapped his hands together before shoving it to the ground, four plates of rock coming up from the ground to defend the red headed girl. The fire seemed to be nullified by the earth shields, the shuriken hidden within the flames imbedded in the foundation. The stronger great fireball justu was enough to rumble the wall, just barley defending her.

Kai’s Spears dug through the wall, but throwing off their trajectory, the two spears nearly scrapping across her shoulders, hovering right above them.

What?? A shadow clone! Sakon internally cursed as Shura outsmarted him. The little brat had layed a bomb attached to a kunai! Thinking quick, he gave a strong kick, uprooting the dirt under it, throwing the bomb across the field, exploding a few feet from him. He grunted, bracing himself, obtaining some scuffs and soot. He growled, His eyes followed the box as he tried to follow it, a lone Shiho caught it.

“Hey bro, what’s in this?”

Sakon lept up, meerly inches away from her, keeping eye contact with her all the while.

“I don’t know? Brother, what IS in this?” He said, feigning stupidity.

As he said this, ukon lept out of Sakon’s stomach, whirling our like a corkscrew, his fists whirling in front of him, aiming to impale her as Sakon tabbed the box.

“Multiple fists barrage!”

Kidomaru snickered as Sagiso escaped his web, marveling at how she did so. The Byakugan! What a kekkei genkai, she snapped my threats like butter! She’ll be fun. But before then, this shadow guy was a pain, his justu is too deadly when ignored. He’ll be first. Kidomaru wove six yellow colored daggers in his hands, serrated with spikes all over them. He attached a long threat to the ends of each of them. With this thread, I can control the direction of any of these daggers, and if they move, I can simply tug at the thread in any direction like a puppet, and impale my target just fine!

Kidomaru flung the daggers while dangling from the caps of trees. The daggers would surround him from different angles, all six from six sides, to dominate him fast. He could control shadows, but she couldn’t take control of flying projectiles could he? Hehehehehe~

Zaku sighed. “Where is that uchiha? He’s holding up everything...”

Everyone was wide awake and ready to go, but Kiro was missing. Where could he have gone? Zaku had no idea, but he couldn’t help but have the sneaking suspicion that he had deserted them, based on the last words Kiro said to him....

“That’s It. We are moving out. We can’t wait for him forever. Let’s go!”

Raiku frowned at the walls that Jirobo made and bit his thumb, causing blood to come out. He did hand seals, Boar, Dog, Bird, Monkey, Ram, and then placed his hand on the ground.

A puff of smoke came out along with a small crow.

"Alright Ramer, I need you to place feathers along those rock walls."

The crow gave a nodding motion and then started flying along the walls, shooting black feathers that stuck to the walls and formed a line like a rope around them.

"Alright Ramer, back me up on my next attack."

Raiku did hand seals once more, Snake, Dragon, Rabbit, Tiger.

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!"

A large flame surrounded the feathers and Ramer flapped his wings with chakra which caused a small wind to help fuel the flames.

Those flames should melt through the rock and hurt the annoying girl.

Tayuya cursed as she jumped back from the incoming strikes and used her melody as she avoided the pair of wind bullets while she also moved her two Doki. The one with the club moved away from Sagiso as Tayuya trusted Kidomaru to handle her while the other Doki jumped over the fireball to a nearby tree before it bounced forward; moving from tree to tree around Raiku & Taiyo to throw them off before it shot through the air like a rocket as it tried to slam an aerial kick down on Raiku from behind. Though it was not alone, as Tayuya moved the Doki with the club towards Taiyo as it aimed to deliver a high speed strick to try and slam him through the tree bark.

The third Doki was hit in the face, though it appeared to not be in pain even as some blood leaked from the impact spot as it sliced up the ice with its retractable claws before Tayuya had it continue its pursuit as it only seemed to move faster as it aimed to deliver multiple visicious and quick slashes at Kai before he gained too much distance.

Tayuya herself found fire coming in seemingly all directions as she cursed. She could jump and try to dodge each one but that alone was not gonna save her. She would have taken the time to curse one of her teammates for their lack of help out but she focused on self preservation as she prepared some hand signs.

Though thankfully Jirobo seemed to see this as Earth Walls surrounded her and acted as a shield that defended her from the flames & wind. Though a pair of spears nearly sliced her shoulders as Tayuya ducked to avoid those before she took note of the intense heat as something outside them. Tayuya cursed as she prepared to form a replacement jutsu in the event the Doki failed to kill them or Jirobo failed to save her.

Takato cursed, as he just managed to avoid Tayuya's earlier explosive bomb but then he saw several incoming projectiles as it appeared another of the sound spotted him.

Takato moved his shadows back as he formed new hand signs, taking an aim at a nearby tree as he called out his new jutsu.

"Ninja Art: Shadow Stitching Jutsu!"

Takato tossed his own kunai & chain into the tree as they stuck into it before he pulled himself away from the projectiles as he landed on a nearby branch to Kidomaru and focused on the spider-nin. He then sent the shadow stiches along the trees as he aimed to try and ensnare the freakish ninja or at the very least force him closer to Sagiso. Given she was a Hyuga, and this guy seemed to prefer long range art if he could immobilize or get him close to Sagiso the advantage would be theirs.

Kenji let out a sigh. While it was true that, as a Hyuga and a sibling of someone like Sagiso, this girl could be helpful. He felt this mission was far too dangerous for her to get involved. Though leaving the girl alone in these woods with enemies abound would have been an even more reckless choice so after some debating Kenji had made his decision.

"Sure, you can help us. But try to stay back. We're right by an enemy as it stands now." Kenji explained with a whisper as he motioned for Furijia to follow and lead him to his group's hiding spot as they observed Zaku from a distance who seemed to be ready to move out.

Taiyo
The genin turned his attention to the Doki, and was met with horror from seeing the monster. Taiyo decided to attack the monster but was knocked back into a tree. This caused the Leaf-nin to cough up some blood due to the strength of the monster.
Who the hell makes these things, and why are they so strong? If I make it out alive, I'll just consider myself the luckiest man alive.
Taiyo stood up, some will to fight left in him and his body still able to continue. He used this to his advantage by rebounding of the tree he almost got sent into and then jumping into another tree to create clones.
"Fire Release: Explosive Flame Formation!" Taiyo threw explosive tags and sent a wave of fire in the Doki's direction in hopes of creating a smokescreen. One of his closes were sent out to attack his target. The clone took out a tag and attempted to place it on the Doki.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Shiho spun her ribbon around in front of her and wrapped it around Ukon's spinning arm, she would the quickly twirl around and aim to throw Ukon towards Sakon. Shura jumped onto the scene when he saw Sakon and Ukon attack his sister. He would throw his chain at the box in front of Sakon and hook onto it with the scythe and pull it away, leaving a clear shot for Shiho to throw Ukon.

“Not likely, snack!” Jirobo yelled at Taiyo, stomping down on the ground. “Earth style! Earth dome Prison!”

He put his hands out as rock, radiating with chakra built up around Taiyo, he form of a dome slowly appearing around him. The dome was to complete and trap Taiyo, isolating him from the fight. As the dome was building, nearly competed, he gave a smile, the prison proving to be a powerful asset.

While this was happening, he stomped on the ground, a rock pillar coming at an angle to gut Raiku.

“What?!?”

Kai exclaimed as the Doki kept trucking. He wasn’t aware that the ogres could take so much damage. As it closed the distance quicker due to sheer muscles from jumping, he tried to make a formidable defense.

“Ice wa-“

As he started to materialize the wall, but the Doki hit the makeshift barrier before it was competed, no doubt aimed for him. It tore a bit at his clothing and it barley touched the skin of his face, just enough to tear the smallest of skin.

“Ngh....you....YOU XENO SCUM!!!!”

Kai was outraged. He took out his pouch, bending the water from it, sending it up into the air before crystallizing it into the form of several ice needles.

“secret Technique: a thousand needles of death!”

He hurled the needles at the Doki, his anger burning than Raiku’s fire, hellbent on killing it

Ukon was grabbed by the ribbons, his eyes widening as he was thrown back at his brother. But his surprise turned to relief and satisfaction as he was seemingly ABSORBED into his brother! Sakon and ukon became of one body, gaining more strength than shiho with double the muscle. He ripped the box from Shiho and smiled...before a scythe yanked it away from him.

“These brats! You will regret this!”

Sakon followed the box, his body twirling into a roundhouse kick that revved up like a blender toward Shura. The goal was to make Shiro pick beeeen the box and his gut!

“Multiple kicks barrage!”

“Heh, some pretty sick moves you got there kid.” Kidomaru chuckled. “Perhaps playing in those shadows weren the only tricks in your book.”

He looked toward Sagiso, who seemed aware of his precence. No doubt the Byakugan aided in that. He snickered, dropping down from the tree. Partially to get away from takato and partially to meet with Sagiso. He landed several yards from her, a relax pose about him.

“So then, your of the hyuga clan that I was anxious to meet. Your even more interesting in person.” He put his hands on his hips, still aware that takato was above him. He seemed to be weaving something unknown behind him.

 

[Fire Mana]

Yasu gathered his things, making sure he wasn't leaving behind any of his Feather Darts or any other important supplies. It seemed like Tomiko and Mori had already finished up and were just waiting on him to leave. He hated making people wait. He picked up the pace and quickly collected the last of his belongings, making his way over to his teammates.

"Yeah, I'm ready. So... Where are we headed?"

Seeing Sakon and Ukon approach him with an attack, Shura quickly weaved a hand sign. "Air Doppelganger!" He shouted as he was seemingly throw back and an air clone took his original spot. The air clone was hit by the attack but then morphed into a blast of air tat would knock the brothers back. Shiho weaved a few hand sign in preparation. "Water Style: Mist Stream!" She shouted before releasing a stream of mist from her mouth towards Sakon and Ukon to limit their vision. When Shura landed on a tree branch, he tied the box to his back with his chain. "We got what we came for! Shake off your attacker and leave!" He ordered. "We were never supposed to engage in the first place, this mission has gone south." He thought.

Sagisō

Winking towards Kidomaru, Sagisō quipped,"What a sweet mouth you've got there~"

Smiling lightly at her opponent, Sagisō batted her eyelashes flirtily,"If you're only here to spout honeyed words, then I don't mind entertaining you, but it'll take much more than that to sweep a Nadeshiko kunoichi off her feet." Right now, stalling for time would be a very good tactic to take, if she could hold this creepy guy here then the others in an essentially 6 vs 3 situation, or even 6 vs 6 counting the odd summons, should've been able t retreat with the box without too much struggle.

 

[Shen: King of Digimon]

“The nadeshiko? Ha! That’s not even with the leaf at all!” Kidomaru laughed. “Why are you fighting with these losers? Take this one...”

He tossed a sharp dagger hidden behind him, slicing the branch that Takato was standing on above, in hopes to drop him down. Kidomaru eyes him, grinning to Sagiso.

“A village of nobodies! How disappointing! Why don’t you join us? I can assure you it will never be boring. And I can assure your payed well
For Your troubles.”

Kidomaru flirted with Sagiso, trying to convert her to their side while passively attacking Takato.

“Gah!”

Sakon had been fooled by yet another clone as he was hit by a concussion of air. His feet skidded across the ground as mist seemed obstruct their surroundings. Sakon looked to and fro, looking for the box and his attacker.

“Ngh! Where is he?!”

“Over THERE brother.”

Ukon, the eyes behind his head spoke. Tracing the voice of Shura, comfiming he had the box and was calling a retreat. Sakon jumped out of the field of mist, tracing the voice.

“They are escaping with the box! After them!”

 

[Retro Master]

Off in the distance, a bit away from the convoy, Kiro had been caught up in a fierce battle. His opponent was as quick as it was nimble for its size. The rather large and chubby rabbit seemed dead set on sending Kiro to his death... Well ‘starving’ him to death actually. The rabbit was currently engaged in a stare down with Kiro. Maybe his was eyes playing tricks on him, but the rabbit already looked well roasted and ready to be served. Now he just needed to catch it without expending any chakra. If cooked correctly, this meal could serve him well for atleast another day or two and he couldn’t risk losing it. After all, the last time he actually ate was over a day ago.

The white fur on Kiro’s hands and scratches on his clothing showed proof of a previous struggle. But that’s as far as he got to catching until now. “That’s it Demon Rabbit, you’re mine now.” Kiro muttered as he pointed the kunai in his right hand directly at it and moved forward. Using its rather large frame, the rabbit did the unexpected and dashed towards Kiro, intending to tackle him. “What?!” Kiro miraculously missed his swipe at the rabbit before it literally knocked him to the ground. Now on top, the rabbit began repeatedly smacking the struggling Kiro before delivering a powerful slap to the left side of his face with its large ear. Then it glared down curiously at its beaten opponent before feeling something pierce through it’s white fur.

Kiro looked up at the rabbit as the kunai in his right hand, which he managed to get behind it, dug into it’s back. “F-fuck you.” Kiro told the rabbit as he felt the stinging grow on his left cheek. Breathing heavily, he couldn’t believe that this rabbit had caused so much trouble. Shoving the rabbit off of him, Kiro sat up and placed his left palm on the left side of his face to feel his cheek. It stung even worse...

As he cautiously navigated through the forest, Kiro was still upset that this rabbit had taken so long to catch. He had hoped he would have time to eat before they took off but now it was more likely the Sound had left without him. ‘Damnit!’ Kiro cursed mentally, upset that he might lose the opportunity to learn from Orochimaru because of his hunger. Then again, it wasn’t like he couldn’t catch up. Even if the Sound left already, they couldn’t be that far off. The only things that might slow him down would be the decently sized rabbit he was carrying or...

Kiro’s entire body froze when he suddenly heard something. A voice. It was so soft that had he been only a few feet back, he would’ve missed it. Then he heard another one, this time a bit more deeper. ‘Two people.’ Kiro swiftly hid behind the nearest tree as he tried to listen in. His mind immediately went to the thought that whoever the two shinobi were, they might be the ones who were pursuing the rest of the Sound. ‘But only two?’ Kiro tilted his slightly to get an angle towards the direction of the voices. They had stopped talking now which made it a bit harder for him to track the two. The huge trees in the way as well as some large bushes also seemed to hide their position.

He had a few options but if the Leaf had only sent two shinobi, then their skills must’ve been highly regarded. If that were the case, then him successfully ambushing even one of them would prove to be a difficult task. Maybe he could make a run for the camp but that would heighten the chances of him being noticed. That was also considering the convoy hadn’t left already. Maybe he could stall the pursuers? No, he wasn’t the one they were after, and they wouldn’t bother wasting time on him. Through all of his thinking, Kiro found himself looking at the dead rabbit in his hands. Maybe the rabbit had the answers to the predicament he was in. Well, it was the rabbit who had gotten him into this mess in the first place...

Ramer, noticing Raiku getting attacked by multiple things swiftly went over to him and grabbed him by the shoulders, with enough strength to carry him away from the incoming attacks. After being saved Ramer disappeared so Raiku could save chakra. He made regular clones and had them go to Shiho and Taiyo and tell them to go.

“We’re wasting our time and chakra here, nobody else besides these people are here and people are already fighting them. This is not our mission. They aren’t even heading back to their village cuz they’re busy fighting. It’s better to leave the fighting to the other group and not have our mission be a failure.”

 

[Godjacob]

Takaot indeed jumped down, though it had less to do with the kunai and more to do with following Shura as now that they had the box they had no reason to engage the enemies. To help with the stalling process, Takato tossed a pair of kunai with paper bombs around Jirobo or specifically to the trees behind him as they exploded the base of them as they would cause them to topple over. Takato hoped to crush the big guy and overall cause panic on their side as he quickly moved behind Shura to make their get away. The sooner they made it to the village gates, the better as far as he had been concerned.

The dome that surrounded Tayuya melted as did her body...only for that body to have been revealed as a log as Tayuya was perched on a tree branch as she took note of the fact that the Jinchuriki's container was taken and being moved away.

"Shit! Sakon you are useless!" Tayuya cursed out before she felt her tree begin to topple over while she had been on it. Tayuya scowled as she quickly returned her summons which by extension protected them from the opposing attacks as she charged after Shura and Takato as she held her flute to her mouth and began to play a new melody. This one would cast a Genjutsu, and as the sound drifted through the air in the direction of Shura & Takato the effect if it reached them would case the forest ahead of them to become more dense and overall aim to disorient them as she tried to keep pace and hoped her allies were to follow suit.

"Simple. I felt some vibrations of people moving up ahead. I figure we could trace them, we'll either end up finding possible sound-nin or run into another team and we can exchange information." Tomiko said, as she referenced her talent she developed to sense vibrations along the ground or things connected to the ground which she used to good effect in the Forest of Death during the Chunin Exams.

"Anyway, stay close and keep your eyes peeled. Let's hit it!" Tomiko said as she began to move forward and followed her vibrations as she motioned for Yasu & Mori to follow. Leading them towards where Kenji's group was and by extension closer to where Zaku would also have been.

Though they had yet to know what was to await them for now...

Azumi glanced over to what Reaver had spotted, seeing the smoke in the distance begin to rise which in all likelyhood signaled a battle was taking place. This only caused Azumi to shake her head.

"Figures, even after just having been invaded Konoha still finds itself in needless conflict."

As much as Azumi enjoyed the possibility of Konoha's forces being further thinned out, that only increased the desire she had to flee now. As she needed to get the Forbidden Scroll across the border before knowledge of its missing status became known. As such Azumi turned to Reaver.

"All right, we are leaving n..." Azumi started to say before her expression shifted and she began to scan the area around her. Azumi had no way to know what this sudden feeling was, that feeling there was something something there. Watching them. Azumi closed her eyes and tried to listen for the faint sounds around them, though she only managed to hear wind blowing through some foliage. Azumi's eyes opened as she scanned the area but found nothing, unaware of the Kiri-nin that observed them from a distance. Though her expression indicated she felt something was out there, as she reflexively grabbed the handle of her umbrella and appeared on guard.

Jirobo, who was engaged with Taiyo and the earth dome prison, heard a loud explosion behind them. Now, when loud explosions are heard they usually mean something bad is going to happen. His hands were currently occupied creating the dome, so he had to use his feet. He stomped on the ground, a ramp of rock appearing behind him, sliding along his back. When the trees fell on him, a Grunt followed by a yell was heard. He was beeping the trees propped up on the ramp using the rock and his sheer strength.

“That’s....not....going to work!!”

He stomped with his other foot and slid it across the ground, a wedge shaped rock appearing behind the trees and ramming into them, throwing them across the battlefield, blocking a large area of exit for Raiku and possibly Taiyo. It came to his mind that he should relieve some attack power off of his team. Taiyo and Raiku Surley boasted FIREpower. They had to be eliminated.

Grunting, he focused more chakra, a second dome appearing connected to the dome he was already creating. Black lines began to crawl along his body as he transformed into his curse mark stage 1 state.The second dome surrounded Raiku, taking rocks from Taiyo’s wall and forming them into one, much larger dome. As the rocks formed up, they pieced together much quicker than before, locking Raiku and Taiyo inside the earth dome Prison.

“Everyone! I got this meal! Go after the prize, i’ll Digest these two in no time!”

Sakon nodded to his bigger comrade as he turned back to the fleeing Shura. “Lets go destroy these twerps! Tayuya, Kidomaru, with me!”

With Taiyo and Raiku seemingly no longer shooting attacks, Tayuya was substantially freed up, and with takato gone, Kidomaru had no opponet. He nodded to Sakon, but hadn’t moved, offering a hand to Sagiso, still proposing his offer.

Mori whistled as Tomiko told them about her ability to feel vibrations and use them to her advantage. "That is quite the useful ability, I did not know you could do that." He followed her along with Yasu before asking a question to Tomiko.

"Do you know how much chakra your arms have Tomiko? It would be a shame for you to run out of chakra and get your crippled arms again in the middle of a fight if we get in one. I know you will probably ignore this rule since you are incredibly headstrong, but I will make this rule anyway. You may not use ninjutsu that cost a medium to a high level of chakra, use taijutsu most of the time and use ninjutsu only as a last resort and don't be afraid to ask us for help at any time." Mori started to sound like a worried parent instead of a child on a mission.

After walking for around 25 minutes, he felt something small nagging in the back of his head. "That's odd, what's this feeling?"

Taiyo
Taiyo was shocked when the earth dome started to form around him, he tried to jump away, but alas, it was futile. He heard Shura's claim about how they were never supposed to engage and all he could think was his that didn't go as planned at all.
That large guy seems to be the tank of the team. This seems bad.
He wanted to try and melt his way out of the rock and flee, seeing as this was a losing battle. However, he didn't know any Jutsu that could melt him out of the rock. Taiyo was trapped.
Dammit, I can't move! I'm trapped... I'm forced to watch as others fight.
Taiyo banged a wall of the rock dome, angry that he was outplayed and outclassed yet again.
"No....NO! I will not, I'm getting outta here, and I'm living to fight another day, Fire Release: Flashing Burst Style!" This was his last resort, he tried to change the handstyles in order to get a different effect.
I'm sorry Tsuki, you too Furijia, I won't be able to live to see another day, I don't think I'll be able to fight for you anymore....

Sagisō

Breaking into a fit of giggles, Sagisō winked at the offered hand, "Sounds interesting, I'll take you up on that offer- but it won't be now." Pondering for a moment, Sagisō offered, "Though the contents of that box are of interest, care to share what it is?"

While she didn't mind going to the sound, she wasn't so low as to betray her family on the spot. Even if she were to defect to the sound, she'd at least return to the leaf and tell her mother about her departure first. She was meant to be on a journey either way, and she didn't want to get cooped up in the leaf village. She wouldn't even be apart of this fight if it wasn't for Kai's request.

Furījia

Nodding slightly, Furījia agreed to stay back, since that's what she'd intended to do in the first place. "You still have your smoke signals right?" It would be extremely dangerous to face any of the ninja from the sound without the smoke signals as the Konoha genin could easily be outnumbered and overpowered.

 

[Shen: King of Digimon]

Kidomaru snickered, shooting a web from his wrist to connect to a branch overhead. He waggled a finger at her while keeping two other hands on his hips.

“If I told you that, it would spoil the fun, don’t you think? It would be more entertaining to see if you piece it together by yourself.”

She IS something isn’t she? Although I can’t rule her out as a spy, it would be so entertaining to keep her around. But I have to play it safe for now.

“Heh, your not as dull as your friends. If your serious about coming, then by all mean, roll with us. I hope you don’t disappoint!”

Kidomaru teased as he yanked on his thread, carrying his body through the air, and sending him on the chase toward the box. He knew Jirobo could handle himself against two weaklings, which made it easier for the three, maybe four of them if lucky.

“You two will never get out of here!” Jirobo proclaimed, talking to Raiku and Taiyo. “You two will make a good appetizer.”

His hands began to glow a blue color, as his curse mark recedded, no longer needing it’s power bonus. He leisurely began to suck the chakra of the genin inside the dome, energy transferring from the rocks they were touching to Jirobo’s hands. He was trying to suck them dry!

Sakon watched as Kidomaru swung in to meet him, nodding as he met up. He then looked over toward Tayuya, still battling Kai, and called over to her.

“Tayuya! Stop playing with your food and reclaim the box!”

Tayuya had a tick about letting her emotions get the better of her. Sakon has to break her out if this before she could compromise the mission

 

[Godjacob]

"Playing with what!? I'm already chasing them, where are you at!? And where's Kidomaru!? If he's still flirting with that Hyuga I will tie his arms into a pretzel!" Tayuya cursed back as it seemed Sakon either had become blind or was so oblivious to what Tayuya had been doing that he didn't notice that she already called back her Doki away from Taiyo, Raiku & Kai. Such an attentive "leader" he was.

"Why would I continue to waste time on that popsicle prick anyway? Now tuck in your panties and let's get after them!" Tayuya yelled at her teammates as she focused back on the fleeing Shura & Takato as she began to play again as she tried to slow them down with a disorienting Genjutsu as she worked to gain some distance.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Shura ran away from his pursuer when he heard a bit of Tayuya's flute song, his vision would then start to blur. "Crap, Genjutsu." He thought to himself before activating his Byakugan. He looked back a second to see how the others were doing but found that some of them still aren't retreating and others were trapped. "Shiho your teammates are stuck in that earth dome, go help them out!" He shouted before Shiho nodded and jumped towards the earth dome. He then looked towards Sagiso and sighed in annoyance. "Sagiso! Stop talkimg with the enemy!" He shouted her way.

Sagisō

With Shura's voice drowning out the effects of the auditory genjutsu, Sagsiō was able to bring both hands to her ears and seal her sense of hearing with the gentle fist. She wouldn't be able to hear anything temporarily, but her vision more than made up for it. Waving off Kidomaru, Sagisō turned to Shura and cast him an accusatory glance, "At least I managed to hold one of them off."

Engaged in conversation with her Kidomaru hadn't been able to actively interfere with the battle, and considering the 3 members of her team and the 3 newcomers, were struggling in a 3 on 6 situations, they really should've been hoping she'd occupy the fourth sound ninja for longer. She hadn't even fought but had still made more contributions to the battle by single-handedly holding back one of the sound 4. Yet, her teammates were still complaining. Talk about ungrateful!

Well, since they wanted her help she'd help them. 'I'll distract them while you open the box!' While mouthing those words to Shura, who's byakugan would allow him to read her lips, she retrieving another exploding kunai. She tossed the ninja tool straight into the air, before weaving a single hand sign and unleashing the shuriken clone jutsu. The kunai rapidly multiplied in the air as it reached its peak height, before raining back down over the entire battlefield. "Heads Up!!" Yelping a warning, Sagisō dashed for cover.
