Alright, I'm not done yet, but I'm nearing 1000 words and I wanna get a second opinion on this before I continue.

Apart from the already established categories, there will likely be more, as this is always subject to change and edits. In particular, I want @Rohan Kishibe 's and @Nebulix 's opinions since they're also Hyūga.

Pointing out anything that's unclear, could be improved up, or even some additional ideas you might have would be helpful.
Hyūga Clan

Overview

The Hyūga clan is one of the four Noble clans of Konohagakure, the village hidden in the leaves, alongside the Uchiha, Aburame and Akimichi clans. The combination of their Kekkei Genkai, the Byakugan, and their Hiden, the gentle fist, ensures that all members of the clan are proficient in taijutsu. The Hyūga have the innate ability to wield chakra from all the chakra points in their body and are natural adepts at chakra control.

Internal Structure

The Hyūga clan has many branches, and the branch of the current head of the clan is recognized as the Main Branch. The distinction between the branches is minimal, however, the main branch will usually be the branch which represents the clan as a whole during interactions with external parties. The clan is structured through a form of meritocracy, where positions in the clan are decided based on the talent, effort, and ability shown by each individual among numerous criteria which vary depending on the position. The Position of Clan head, for example, requires not only strength but foresight and an agile mind.

Within the clan are four (4) Factions which are based on the Four holy beasts and cardinal points, The Vermillion Bird (South), White Tiger (West), Azure Dragon (East), and Black Turtle (North). Each faction is stationed at the cardinal point respective of their holy beast, and each faction focuses on different things.

The Azure Dragon faction (Eastern District), are known within the clan for their flowing combat style which weaves a web of deflects and counters in a smooth motion reminiscent of the serpentine body of an eastern dragon; Notable members of this faction include Hinagiku Hyūga. Their opposite, the White Tiger faction (Western District), focuses on a more direct and ferocious fighting style which takes charge with 'offense as the best defense'; Notable members of this faction include Furījia Hyūga.

The Vermillion Bird faction (Southern District) doesn’t focus on combat styles, but rather on training more supportive roles such as medical ninja, Attendants, Scouts, or other logistic-type roles; Notable members of this faction include Rakūsupā Hyūga. The final faction, the Black Turtle, much to their namesake practice a defensive battle style, focusing on hunkering down and withstanding of otherwise dispersing attacks and are responsible for defending the clan.

Members are free to choose their own faction, and even switch between factions at their will, however, this isn’t advised as becoming a mediocre ‘jack-of-all-trades’ is frowned upon.

Clan Grounds

The clan is divided into 5 districts, the 4 districts which house the 4 factions, and the central district which acts as a communal hub for the clan. The central district is the largest district and occupies the vast majority of the land the Hyūga sit on. It has most of the important buildings such as the Clan Hall, Main Training halls, most of the residential areas, reception halls, etc.

The architecture in the clan is primarily composed of wooden structures on stilts with an oriental flavor to them. Buildings which are required to be sturdy, such as training halls, are usually wide, single floor structures with reinforced wood, their purpose is for Taijutsu practice and light spars only, as anything more could damage the structure of the building. A more intense battle with a possibility of structural damage would instead be held at a training field, rather than a training hall. Residential buildings range from one (1) to three (3) stories in height depending on the size of the family living there, and more public structures like the clan hall are generally multi-storied. Access to certain areas within the clan is restricted even to the clan’s members unless they meet the appropriate requirements which can consist of rank, position or otherwise.

Protective Measures

As the Byakugan is a highly coveted Kekkei Genkai, a seal is placed on all members from the day they awaken their Byakugan. The location of the seal is free for the individual to choose, but it is recommended that it be placed somewhere where it will be hidden from view. The seal with react immediately upon death and destroy their Byakugan to prevent leaking of the Kekkei Genkai. There is, however, a mechanism within the seal that allows the user to delay the destruction of their Byakugan for up to an hour, this method is taught to every single clan member and is generally only performed upon a natural death. The seal is placed by a small group of sealing specialists within the Vermillion bird faction, who are the only ones who are aware of the process required to activate or deactivate the seal.

I might...need to reconsider how I structure the whole thing, and even the headings...but that's another task for another time.
This is great, provides great insight on the workings of the clan

Sorry for asking a the questions, I'm trying to keep a sense of realism in my posts, or you know, not write BS. With that, if Seiun got his ankle stuck in the chain, how would he get out of it.

Well...the point of the chain itself is to ensure and rip apart flesh and bone. If he got it stuck he would most likely suffer severe bleeding and be ensnared. Think if you got trapped in a tight bundle of barbed wire, it’s basically a bad proposition anyway you look it XD.

It can shred flesh, meat, and bone very easily, even logs with the right force

Noted, how to I make sure the chain hits and draws blood but doesn't trap him. If I can't then thats okay, but still.

You know what I don't have enough of. OCs. I'm gonna make another one XD

I need a teammate of Kenji for my little plan with him and Aisha to justify Aisha being there. Working on bio (And general RP responses to this and others) as well.

This is an intervention. Stop godjacob XD really. I’m tempted to deny it right here and now to give your mind some ease

To be fair, I do need another character (OC or not) who happens to be close to Kenji and a medical nin (Or an aspiring one) to help with his plan to get Aisha into Kumo. Not like they'd accept a random undocumented Genin into their land, specially one of a member of one of Konoha's clans XD

Yeah there. Thanks for that Kyuu.

Well...okay that’s a pretty good reason. Just don’t have a stroke lol

She'll be a minor character. A pacifist ninja, who will be around on occasion but nothing more.
Godjacob: *Creates character who's entire design, by default, means they're going to be given a beating*

The second coming of Tomiko...except even worst, she's a god damn pacifist... I already pity her. She's just going to have a very bad time against most of the upper tier of characters.

That was the inspiration actually XD

Her choice is very much questioned by her own class. Kenji included, but that's a matter for another day. I should work on her quick bio.
Just make sure you don't go Canon-Sakura with her, she will end up getting written off as a non-factor in like every battle.
This lol. At least Tsuki isn't alone, although she's accepting fighting as necessary in order to have a voice.
Tsuki doesn't come off as a pacifist though, just a really soft cookie.

Yeah, since she literally just became a genin a week ago
personally, I'm still expecting her to get floored by a talented academy student, so I think this whole test is way beyond her ability to handle. But factoring Seiun, and the fact that it might proceed similarly to canon, and that she's already doing better than Sakura, and she can probably handle it...maybe.

Seiun is there after all, and considering that Hama saw potential in her growing faster than any Yuki she has trained, she has some powerful blood. Considering the demon brothers are either strong genin or weak chunnin, it shouldn’t be TOO much of a beatdown

Hmmm, they're gonna look like fodder losing to Tsuki, but alrighty then.

Looks like we're going to be relying on Kumo to start any wars, and rightly so since that's what they're known for. They're the single nation that actively tries to expand their war potential in such an above-the-board method.

Iwa is more...underhanded, I would expect them to attack the leaf while wearing Mist headbands or ally themselves with Kumo to attack the leaf then stab Kumo in the back afterward.

Who’s to say they even lose? They could easily win for all you know. Besides, seiun in a big wild card as far as power is concerned. Need I remind you all Ninja that we’ve seen from the rain in this Rp are powerhouses

Alright, I found this while digging through the old convo.

This still relevant or nah?

like why would we want a war from kumo? how does it benefit us?
Rather than any real benefits it simply makes the world more functionally realistic given that we're based off a very common era within more Eastern countries which is the Warring States period. Our entire setting is small skirmishes are a daily occurrence, and war between nations is relatively frequent, while full-blown war, while rare, isn't unheard of.

The 5 Great nations hold a precarious balance where they keep each other in check, and given that a blow has been dealt to one of these nations, the balance in power has now been broken. Because the other nations are their enemies, they would naturally want to leverage this weakness to benefit themselves in some way, shape or form.

there literally was a warring states period tho. that ended

Well, the warring states period in Naruto refers more to the multiple constant skirmishes between ninja who had only grouped together by Clan, with each Clan as their own state.

Rather than an actual end to the warring states period, we've merely transitioned from several Clans at war to several Clan alliances at war.

yea that's the reason why we're at peace enough to send multiple of the villages genin to a foreign village *sips tea suspiciously*

no. this rp is whatever happens happens. planning is 80% useless. if you do, it's mostly for your own character.
Oh yeah, I can actually quote the exact moment you started to think that way lmao! That's also in the old convo along with a ton of other interesting info.

(I'm on a laptop btw and I feel mobile allows you to move through the site faster. That's probably cuz I don't hv a mouse though. So yeah, back to mobile I go.)
