I’m confused. Weren’t those guards, like 4 chunin and 1 jonin, supposed make sure Kiro doesn’t leave the building or is he allowed to walk around now?

Yuki and the people they bring and mei. Yuki was like “nahnahnah, being in a war with xenos is dumb” and meis like “r u dumb this psycho wants to take over the world, we’re supposed to do that!”
But again I don't want the Civil War to be the second arc after the Invasion and Sound Chase Arc. But the way it goes it does make sense.
Though we had a meeting and it was decided Jiraiya bringing back Tsunade rather than directly naming Danzo was the best move. Which the council agreed on. Danzo can do...Danzo things to try and undermine that but it leads to overly rushed conflict so soon after the last major war arc.

Which I want, but this Civil War is impossible to avoid now. If Danzo goes for the Kage Seat (Which he would) and Tsunade comes back it will lead to Civil War. And it would happen in a couple weeks.

It takes a long time for a war to develop. Small skirmishes will likely break out first, the 8 tails arc could be considered one of these small Skirmishes.
But don't worry, Mei will keep all the bloodthirsty clan in the Mei in place before they can start anything too serious. If they step out of line she'll have to correct them, she does have fairly significant war potential under her command. Even more, once the New 7 Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist form, depending on how their members are split between Mei's faction and the Yuki faction.
But don't worry, Mei will keep all the bloodthirsty clan in the Mei in place before they can start anything too serious. If they step out of line she'll have to correct them, she does have fairly significant war potential under her command. He hasn’t done anything wrong yet. That’s the point of the war starting after the uchiha clan downfall.
No it's Jiraiya brought her over, with the council support, to be the new Kage which she agrees to. Then she comes back, and Danzo just takes power because reasons. That would lead to Civil War, that is the spark Shen talked about and I am just concerned that we are in an inevitable rushed conflict.

Since Tsuki will be an aspiring swordsman and her goals line up with Mei's, she's probably siding with her.

I've been slowly building Mei's power to the point where she can suppress the Clans of the Mist, or at least make them think twice before crossing her by disobeying orders. There are a few cards that happened to slip outside my hand though...unfortunately, but I still need time to really solidify her forces, which is why she's still differing to diplomacy for now.

Pulling emergency powers, as said. Which he can only do in times of war. So the leaf will be split on this idea. There will be many who are angry about this idea, but are settled for now at the fact as soon as the war is over, tsunade replaces him.
That’s where Orochimaru comes in. Danzo extends the war with orochimaru’s help, until they forge an alliance powerful enough to stand up together. Enough to be equal with an reveling force of the leaf that would soon follow
Well, Danzo would never do that. It's retarded, he'd get mobbed down immediately. He'd need to at least slowly amass support and create his alliance with Orochimaru before he'd gain enough power to just give every major force in Konoha the bird.
In essence, with Tsunade returning and Danzo realizing her support from the village is less significant that Minato's he'll see his chance to build enough power to usurp her, and that will take a few years.
What war? There was an invasion, but there is no current war going on.

Maybe just a little, she'll go in an alias though, heck she might even leave the mist with said alias, returning the sword to the place she got it from.

I really think that only Kiro defected from the Mist, to say everyone would be an exaggeration, plus I'm only considering it, it's just a thought going through the motions, plus as Nebby said, planning is mostly useless, so that may not even happen.

I...kinda doubt he'd be able to pacify the leaf, in particular, the clans, unless he already has a significant portion of support behind him. The Major clans, particularly the Uchiha, don't even like Danzo, and the rest are very wary of him or are kinda just keeping one eye closed to his actions.
She would essentially spit in the face of the entire village with that action. She probably wouldn't even be able to come back to the Mist after doing that, and not even Mei would be able to protect her. The 7 Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist have more prestige than the clans themselves, and even the normal Mist ninja revere the positions to the point that most if not all Mist ninja practice Kenjutsu in hopes of becoming a member. To have achieved the status of a member and then given it back would've been bad but would've only resulted in a few hateful glares since she just slighted the pride of the entire village, but to defect on top of that would be a slight to great.

I see, if she did defect, I wasn't planning to be direct with it, if I am to do this, I want to do so in a manner that makes sense and has as little BS as possible. Then again I could scrap the idea and leave it be.
@kyuukestu I went back to the original post and found where I must’ve misinterpreted your words. It said that the guards were meant to be watching over the house like 24/7. The fact that a jonin was even mentioned was to imply how serious Hinagiku was being. I just didn’t see any mention of them watching over Kiro specifically, let alone giving him the opportunity to roam freely. It just felt really strict and I felt it was like the security would be a bit tighter considering how it was described. However, it’s on me for not figuring out sooner.

Hahaha that’s true. I’m surprised no one has tried to delve into the secrets of the Yuki, ah oh well.
Not to mention that the Yuki would never stop trying to kill her until their clan is whippednout, as per the book of Xenos. Betrayal is the worst offense possible, and a Yuki betraying? Absolute heresy

You know it’s actually funny. I’ve riddled so many hints though it out roleplay and even the book of Xenos corilating with certain actions done in the RP. No one has picked up on several of them, which makes me both proud at the subtly and disappointed altogether XD
I just don't hold them in as high regard as the Yuki do
But really it just doesn't impact what happens to my characters. And I am THE WORST at not paying attention to key details in events/fights that don't involve my OCs.
