The Hyūga clan treats its prisoners the best, I guarantee it lol.

But it's mainly so that they never ever have the opportunity to leave the sight of at least 5 clan members at any time. Its not like the entire clan is gonna be staring them down, but it's like living in a city and trying to live a daily life without ever being seen by anyone. Supremely difficult, I assure you, and when you give the people in the city x-ray vision? Nigh Impossible.

Also, it's best if many people have neutral if not loyal or cooperative stances towards the Hyūga clan. I've been doing some more searching to see if the Hyūga have any allies in canon, but it's kinda hard to find any. I only found one clan who was quoted to be politically close to the Hyūga, the Taketori Clan.

It is generally a good idea to be atleast neutral to people that can cripple you in a few seconds

But rather than simply the power of any one clan, I'm slowly expanding on my forces right under Shen's nose.

Since they'd joked about the Hyūga taking over the world earlier on, I figured I might as well go for it. Now that I have Mei, I have two avenues for world domination. Though the latter will need to develop more organically.

Going with Feudalism, I'll slowly integrate clans being allies of or subservient to the Hyūga just-in-case the Leaf actually goes kapoot in the next attack.

Also, you really think the hyuga can do that with the Uchiha in the same village? The same one with Itachi and shisui?

I have a few plans underway for domination as well, the Yuki are just one, and several have gone unnoticed

The fact that you've assumed that means you've already been thrown far off my trail hehe, the first clan I actually want to acquire is actually under Orochimaru's influence~

I'm particularly wary of the Yuki since I don't think godjacob would enter a war of that scale, so the Yuki are actually the only one's I've been paying close attention to lol.

There’s already one faction I made that had been completely unhampered, one which I won’t give away.

Also I get what Clan your after, don’t think your being sneaky lol.

And the Yuki is still a vast possibility, the most powerful clan in the mist, especially with their influence as well

I am expecting Kou to be the main target although it could very well be Jugo's clan or Sakon and Ukon's clan

Do you? Do you really? I'd be colored surprised if you actually managed to guess lol.

Of course, I've been planning in the event of a Hyūga-Yuki battle, so I've got some countermeasures in place.

Your characters are spread rather widely over the ninja world, so I'm not gonna make any hasty assumptions. But don't think I'm not paying attention to the characters you slip under your control every now and again.

there are actually quite a few, a surprising number of them.

Like, for example, she's not related to Orochimaru anymore, but there's a Sharingan user in Suna, and her clan is kinda one foot in Suna, one foot in Konoha.
