I can't answer that since I don't know. In the direst of cases that I've imagined, the Hyūga Clan will defect from Konoha, but at that point, that'll be the least of anyone's worries. It really depends on how the RP develops.

By the way, is Mei going to respond to Jin?

Xeno isn’t automatically a derogatory term. And they are treated with respect, aside from some literal predjudice from Kai. Jin even wrote in rules of his book to respect Xenos in many forms and fashions.
