Again, sorry to have put you in that spot. But again he is punished by the Yuki, who themselves got nothing for threatening all of Konoha even though it was clearly said that we brought Kiro in for question which concerned national security. And they'll get nothing, not even a slap on the wrist for this to.

In all fairness, Mei was kept in the dark by much of the details, only hearing jin’s Side as well. Also, he was justified in a sense.

There's a difference between insults and death threats. And I don't count everything I see on screen. Otherwise we have to accept Mecha Naruto and ninja ostrichs.

Besides filler episodes introducing new characters or elements, it was giving us a flashback to an early time for some characters. Those are reliable. It happened, and even in the canon non filler episodes, danzo was very compatitive, saying Hiruzen wasn’t fit to be hokage and such.

Except when flashbacks contradict canon. Such as Kakashi taking the Chunin Exams at the same time Rin & Obito did despite having graduated and advanced in rank way earlier than them. Filler, even if it fits, can make canon characters are way OOC to fit the needs of said filler.

I guess if I were to TLDR my point the Yuki seem to force everyone else in the entire story to bend over to their whims and never have to face any consequences for what they do. Everyone else is instead at risk of consequences if they don't appease the Yuki. And I am just not a personal fan of it. They get everything and risk losing nothing.

Konoha was literally attacked just weeks ago, no where in the village is it the safest XD

guess if I were to TLDR my point the Yuki seem to force everyone else in the entire story to bend over to their whims and never have to face any consequences for what they do. Everyone else is instead at risk of consequences if they don't appease the Yuki. And I am just not a personal fan of it. They get everything and risk losing nothing.

I have no issues with how you have them act. They are in character, and I can respect that.

Just unlike their counterpart Uchiha, when they do stuff like this they don't get the realistic punishments the Uchiha got. That's my issue more than anything else; that they make everyone else spineless in the plot and there is never a sense that they are at risk for anything with their bold actions. They'll leave with council support and praise rather than any risk of being targeted by the Mist for their actions or even criticism.

But that's just me, and my view of things should not be taken as the cold truth. Probably a minority on it if I had to imagine, just outlining a personal concern is all.

Actually, believe it or not during the Kiro situation they didn’t get what they wanted anyway, not really. They wanted Kiro back and didn’t get that. Instead Kiro stayed with the leaf after some rough treatement. And with Mei they were denied. In fact, the don’t seem to be getting much ‘hand gifted’ to them. They just have to fight for the ground they get. Every single inch.

Plus between this and Damos killing the Seven Swordsmen with ease by himself I think you just want to discredit Mei as much as possible from her biggest accomplishment XD

With Kiro it was only because they found out about Kiro's double dealing from Kiro himself. At that point, they didn't want or care about him much anymore as Jin only wanted to make him suffer. So it wasn't an actual loss. And yeah, they are "denied" by Mei but all this meeting did was discredit Mei and make the entire Yuki look better so they actually won where it mattered. Plus they'll get what they want behind her back anyway.

I WANT to hype them up, not have them beaten down like Kyuu and others have been trying. I made a feel that they aren’t so easily trifled with. Heck, they even made an OC a slave already XD.

I believe the reason why Kishi gave all those buffs to the sharingan in the first place were because he worried that fans might wonder why a byakugan user didn’t stop a MS Sasuke without the Susano when they had the chance.

Those council members were gained from the standing he had combined with mei’s Blunder during the exams.

Also, only a part agreed with him, I’d say 1/3 or so. And he did take a blow at Mei, that was intentional. And he does in all fairness have her outnumbered there with the honor guard and himself, so she can’t exactly attack him or anything in retaliation.

Yes, that’s exactly why the Uchiha became op. But think about it this way. Not only are we doing an AU with keeping some of the same elements, but also we have extremely talented and passionate writers who are giving other clans to shine. Though the amount of work being put into this is truly remarkable, I also share some similar fears and wonder what level of attention these clans will peak at.

Though the amount of work being put into this is truly remarkable, I also share the some similar fears and wonder what level these clans will peak at.

Most of my cast are not even part of clans. So I do feel fear that I cannot keep up, or that certain clans will grow and outshine the others by an insane margin. I can try to buff up and give thought to the other clans, but I have far too many characters to keep track of anyway I don't have the time to give them the focus the Shen can give the Yuki or kyuu can give the Hyuga.

The thing is, there’s no point in developing the Uchiha considering the amount of unfair development they got in canon. Adding on to the Uchiha might make them seem more op than they already are. The only thing I’m planning to work on is their fall from grace and ultimately, their downfall. Plotting for the coup, salty Uchihas, and other stuff like that is what I hope to incorporate. If anything, I’m actually trying to ruin them... which is kind of messed up.

I'm sorry, which clan has the Hyūga shit on? I mean, I've never even had the clan as a whole fight or even be as pompous and arrogant as they were in canon since I focused more on noble pride. The only thing I've changed about them is their internal structure, and it's not really a leap from where they were in canon but rather where they should've been the whole time given the almost feudalistic structure of the world. Most clans should be somewhere near that organized, because they've been a nation-state for who knows how many years before the concept of ninja villages started, and ninja villages have been around for almost 100 years already (20 years between each war, so 1st Shinobi war - 4th Shinobi war = 80 years, and we don't know how much time passed before the first war broke out. Maybe 2-5 years?)

If you've been one of the most influential clans in an area and you have one house to your name (e.g. how the Nara clan is shown in canon where they only have one house) then you've definitely been doing something wrong.

I'd agree with Shen on this one. They haven't gotten any stronger by virtue of power, but rather they've only become more organized, and pompous on the Yuki's side. It does make sense though because almost a century of being a major influential force would cause that level of pride to seem into the bones of its members.

The Yuki clan simply acts as the more ostentatious noble clan, but it's not that uncommon in history. Especially in the east where Nobility counter for more and you could get executed for looking at a noble the wrong way.
