So you're saying a casual swing from Sasuke with a regular sword should be able to slice through a Susano?

Azumi is the only OP one. Even then, she would have lost to Sagiso, the winner of the Zaku/Katsuo fight and Kiro if he actually tried.

With all the nerfs the sharingan has been given to make it even, a major weakness I found to get around that is through overwhelming speed. A specific weakness and even an ability of the sharingan I haven’t touched on yet is the ability to read an opponent’s attack and predict them beforehand. The weakness here is that even if the user can see the attack, they can’t react fast enough.

Now with the nerfs we have in place to prevent the so called dodge spamming, that ability is basically useless. The two things the sharingan were originally known for were it’s ability to copy techniques and read opponent’s movements. Since Kiro probably won’t be getting EMS, I had to take into consideration that his only hope of competing with top tier characters will have to be done without the susanno and other op abilities. I have to go back to the genesis of the sharingan and work from there. With that in mind, maybe you’ll see why my version of lightning armor will be different when it’s all said and done.

yea speed is mega nerfed in this rp which is why i don't really have anything planned for raiku

Besides speed, it can also simply be overwhelmed. Like I've said before the Sharingan has a normal range of vision, the Sharingan won't help them dodge anything they can't see.

it doesn't really matter, i mean you can't really have that because then the sharingan will have no weaknesses and people will get mad

I feel half of these "checks" are hypothetical at best. You people shrug off exploitive stuff as just fine and assume everyone has kyuu's tactical mind. I do not.

Also Kirk is fine, he needs to try on a fight before you worry over being weak. He's far from Tomiko.

Maybe it’s cuz Kiro hasn’t fought in a while but I also feel he’s way overhyped. I don’t think Kiro can beat any top tier characters now and in the future it will be even worse! Think about our top tier characters and tell me, considering how bad his lightning armor is and the fact he won’t be using the curse mark, who can he really beat? Soon enough even the characters you say are bad will be able to one shot him! I can already see Tomiko knocking him out cold after his chakra runs out after one attack lmao

Well, I'll sum up all of this in one conjecture, and I'll say it's because you started out with a top-ranked technique which is the lightning armor, and then there's the Sharingan.

Everyone thinks he's OP and you can't devise a feasible way to upgrade him because he's already hit a plateau where his technique can't really get any better. There isn't really anything beyond the lightning armor, so it appears as if he's a starter char with a late game skill set.

He might not be able to use it properly, but a late game skill set is still a cut above the rest of us.

Well it’s not like he knew how bad it would turn out. The chunin exam arc was the first time he ever used it. Even after training, I really feel he can be easily defeated. Then again, I really think this is cuz Kiro has been easily defeated in his last two fights.

Yeah, just saying Kiro has lightning armor makes him op doesn’t tell the full story. It’s a horrendously incomplete technique and if he were to actually use it in a true 1v1, it would backfire. I’ve never gotten to show that yet but that’s what would happen. That’s why it’s meant to be a WIP technique from the start.

Yea, I understand that but the base point is simply that he won't really advance anywhere past the lightning armor, so he just kinda...plateau's. It's just lightning armor > improved lightning armor, but he won't really advance past it.

Kiro beat Tomiko without even using his Sharingan. He is in no danger I promise you that. Kiro is the last character to worry about being passed up in power, he has upgrades and general improvements he can make.
