Lmao, nai wa, it's too late, I already despise you all for piling on the challenges the minute my character was physically impaired xD. Besides, it gives me a legitimate reason to lose without Sagisō feeling obligated to marry anyone.

But then again, she might just win xD

If she manages to win with a broken arm against Shura, then Kenji is gonna jump in a ditch XD

I feel like we should time skip now and save all the battles for after the time skip since that'll for the most part be the openning acts.

Delaying like this is particularly unfair to Shen who had almost no one to interact with. If we do all the battles at once after the time skip, that'll solve our issues.
but how long is the timeskip? if its like 2-3 months then there's no reason for the battles to happen at all

Honestly though 2-3 months is gonna skip over Tomiko & Kenji training, and I didn't even get a chance to set up what Tomiko was gonna do so it will be like they learned stuff off screen. Not as satisfying, but we can't drag the plot for my sake.
Personally I'm off the mind to run both concurrently with the past events as flashbacks;

It should work as long as we specify the time period in each post.

Three jumbo flashbacks? *Cracks knuckles*

Seems the most reasonable. Though I will need time with that post so, be patient when that day comes.
Well, I was thinking several small flashbacks xD

I still wanted to do that Tayuya-Sagisō skinship stuff.
Also it should only take a few days for Azumi & Reaver to arrive by the Land of Water, 2-3 months feels like overkill. What would they have done the entire time?
A couple days to the land of water, a few more days to manage to contact one of the Nomadic Nadeshiko within the land of water, another couple days to make it to Nadeshiko and Azumi to get a pointer in Baiyan's direction (Reaver wouldn't be allowed to enter because he's male, they wouldn't even allow him near the village) and then a couple more days to find Baiyan, who is currently in the land of waterfalls (since just now :v)

Okay, but all that time doesn't get you 2-3 months. Especially with the fact that the Yuki managed to get to Konoha in less than a day.

How about; it took several weeks to track down a Nomadic woman with literally 0 reasoning for where she's going and then another several weeks to track down another Nomadic woman with literally 0 reasoning for where she's going. Baiyan would've been particularly hard to pinpoint because she's rather reclusive and hence gathering information on her exact location would've been quite difficult.

That would be plausible. If I didn't already make it clear that Azumi knew where to generally look for Sagiso's village. She'd not find an exact location but she'd know she was on one of those islands. Azumi wouldn't have said that then end up on a wild goose chase.

Generally speaking yes, but the Mist is an Archipelago, so I'd assume there's a cluster of islands she'd need to search. It'll still take some time, and I highly doubt you'll have much efficiency with Reaver around, who no doubt would interrupt to go collect some trophy or something.

Not only would water transport with a mech suit be difficult, but tracking down the nadeshiko, and then perhaps studying their target for a large sum of time?

Reaver wouldn't be allowed to enter the island, the last person to enter was Jiraiya and the entire village mobilized to try and kill him. It's best Azumi leave him somewhere to do his own thing for a couple days xD

Then they can track down Baiyan.

How would they even know he was a guy underneath the mech suit? Besides, the point of spying is to not get caught in the first place

Jiraiya couldn't spy on it well enough to evade discovery, and even if you factor into his perverted tendencies his ability wouldn't have deteriorated to the extent that 2 Chunin children could outdo him.

Nadeshiko then would've sent people to investigate and it's all down hill from there.

Nah flashback doesn't work that well with fights that happened recently, why would they flash back anyway?

Raiku: Hey Shiho remember that fight we had 2-3 months ago?

Shiho: Yeah, good time*flashback*

He was caught by natural civilians, many time. When Jiraiya is doing ‘research’ he is caught by most anyone

exactly my point...
Then run it as it's own self-contained episode.

Just put a time stamp on it to show that it was before the time skip.
that doesn't seem to really flow well but if rohan agrees with it then its fine I guess.

it doesn't even matter as not agreeing to the timeskip just makes us look selfish

(even tho i dont really know what to do in that arc)

Seeing as how the goal is to secure, capture, kill, take, defend, bring back, and etc the jinchurki, that would be the major goal. And if your still genin, you could also exchange the jinchurki to the village in exchange for becoming chunnin
right so you just scout for weeks until you find the jinchuriki and charge in to capture it by yourself as a genin/chunin? the only difference might be that the characters might be in a team, but they're still fighting a jinchuriki. are we like a whole village setting up camp? if so wouldn't that make it be like a less than 1 percent chance to get the jinchuriki unless we use "plot" as an excuse?

No. Several teams will be going alone. Many teams of many villages will going, fight for, and maybe even fighting each other.

The jinchurki is strong, that’s why you have a team
