Not at all, if Team Hinagiku holds off both the Oto and Kumo teams, it'll reduce the pressure placed upon team Kakashi.

Suna is an ally, so the only villages we'd be bent on preventing from capturing the Jinchuriki are the Mist and Stone. If Team Kakashi loses the Jinchuriki, with only 2 real foes, and having the largest of the teams present... well, I doubt Hinagiku will be the one explaining herself to the kage.

In other words, she's making it very clear that she'll take on the responsibility of keeping all the other teams off Kakashi's back, and he's responsible for capturing the Jinchuriki.

While the leaf capturing the jinchuriki would be the best outcome, the second best outcome for them is Suna capturing the jinchuriki. The bad outcomes are every other nation because they're enemies.

Rogue ninja? they're probably gonna die. I recall the Akatsuki weren't participating right?

Well, all those other factions are better alternatives to Kiri, Iwa, Kumo or Oto getting the Jinchuriki. The other factions at the very least wouldn't be enemies with Konoha.

I mean, Konoha figures also had meetings with Orochimaru. All villages have done incredibly shady shit, that doesn't mean Rasa would value Konoha less over Oto as an ally especially given Konoha defeated Oto in the invasion in a show of force thing.

Kanshi is a Jinchuriki? Either way it just feels less likely that with the AU circumstances they'd stab Konoha in the back to aid Oto...a force that has already shown their malevolent side and whose members (Kabuto & Kimimaro) attacked their leader along with the others.

I do recall it had something to do with the Third Kazekage that Orochimaru was using as a test for the Edo-Tensei. Not too clear on the details of that encounter so I won't say much.

@Nebulix If I may ask, why are you so sour about the Jinchuriki being the main focus? I can understand the frustration with its somewhat fixed chase, but if you have something in mind it can still occur. Youll just need to wait and look for a good opening before jumping into your miniplot as to not tamper the flow of the story.

Not really, at least I have a purpose for this plot. I don’t really care about that jinchuriki though because I highly doubt our OC’s will even become one because of this given we’re all genin/chunin. We might lose even we have everyone together

This effects all of us. The point isnt to become a jinchuriki, its not even to beat a jinchuriki as you make it out to be.
We just have to capture/subdue it, which is very possible with coordinated attacks as shown several times in the show and manga. If a rivaling village captures the tailed beast and somehow uses it against the others, your oc and likely everyone he knows will get thrown into the flames of war.
You may not care about it, but every nation has a potentially huge consequence if things go south, so your very involved.

Not neccicarily. Retrieving it would also be good as you could place it under leaf custody and protection potentially, and earn a nice rank up
