Hey man, needed to be said. But nothing to worry here, Kakashi is too chill for it to escalate XD
If it was in Hinagiku's personality then I'd definitely quip back about how he's the last person qualified to talk to her about emotions and missions considering Rin & Obito, as well as his Father.

Taiyo: Oh thank God, at least not all Hyūga get pissed off easily...
Taiyo after commiting a jailable offense: You're being too sensative about it...

Well, if no one's got anything they wanna slip in between I'll be responding with Hinagiku.

Hmm, really?

I get the feel that his initial attitude was like that, mission above all else, because his father was disgraced for failing a mission and only after Obito and Rin's deaths did his opinions change.

Nah, he just knows personal feelings can be powerful. And in a mission where another Jinchuriki can be at risk of falling to Orochimaru's grasp he doesn't want anything that could put the village at risk.

Basically there is a time and a place to "vent" about wrongs done to you but this specific mission is not the time or place.

His team will be responsible for actually capturing the Jinchuriki, and Hinagiku's team will run interference. The way I see it, he'll be taking the spotlight.

Which is fine and why he won't flat out stop her.

But the "interference" and Hinagku's target is the main thing that he will dwell on. Who Hinagiku and the Leaf see as the enemy here clash in his view.
The don't clash per-say, besides Suna every else is the anime and will harm the leaf.

The Leaf just weighs Orochimaru as a greater threat, while Hinagiku is more concerned with Kumo. Not that I haven't already set plans in motion for such thing, hehehe.

Kiro is...very excellent bait, don't you think?

It would be if Orochimaru seemed to care about him. But beyond one outburst over being put into a body that wasn't Kiro he doesn't seem to value the Uchiha much at all. Least compared to his obsession with Sasuke it feels like he doesn't care nearly as much.

Personally, I'm trying to work it out in my head.

The Valkyries would scramble my whole plan. I'll likely have the Valkyrie's come in half-way into the mission, where at that point Hinagiku's priorities will change because of how dangerous they could potentially be.

Speaking of Valkyries, I need to work on my Suna and Iwa equivalents to beef up their forces.

Alright, let me try to crazily explain the rationale behind the Hyuga masks.

It follows the same logic as the ANBU masks. The ANBU masks don't have Konoha's symbol and that's because they're supposed to be secret forces. In the scenario that they get caught, they won't have anything on their person to tie them to Konoha.

It's not that they aren't affiliated with Konoha, it's that they aren't 'openly' affiliated with Konoha and hence when they screw up, Konoha can deny all accusations against them on the grounds of evidence, or the lack thereof.

The same applies with the Hyuga masks, the enemies don't need to believe the Hyuga are acting separately, they simply can't prove otherwise, so openly Konoha isn't in the wrong.

The end result would be any for any repercussions caused by the mission Konoha can claim 'the Hyuga acted on their own' and just punish the clan instead of capitulating to any demands.

No one needs to believe it, they simply can't prove othwrwise. Its just a cheap way to escape consequences, and Hina is taking advantage of that.

You know....besides being members of one of Konoha's most prominent bloodlines.

I get the rational, just having my characters react how I believe they would react. And Takato's reaction is there is no nation stupid enough to believe an excuse like this XD. My characters not being in full agreement with Hinagiku's plan does not mean I don't get your intent or understand the logic behind it.

Well, the Hyuga Squad does have two non-Hyuga prisoners on hand and a Nara among their squad. I doubt a rogue entity would be trusted with having either of them on the squad. And although when they get going Takato won't have his Headband on display for the mission, he still has it on his person which would tie him back to the Leaf.

Eh, as long as you understand. No one needs to believe, it's a pretty open scam. We're just riding off 'you have no proof, bite me!'

We'll give him a Kiri or Oto headband to confuse our opponents, I'm sure our prisoners will be happy to contribute to our cause.

Tayuya: Oh go fuck yourself.

I'd argue there is more proof here than you consider, but I'll leave it at that.
Those would be proofs by induction, and furthermore there are a few key details that would remain unknown to the non-leaf characters that make those proofs only a possibility and not a definitive.

In fact, Takato's reactions can be phrased to support a wrong conclusion.

No one viewing the situation externally can completely rule out the Hyuga's claim of doing their own thing because of how Kakashi and all the non-Hyuga members are acting.

Everyone seems uneasy with the Hyugas actions and it adds realism to the false assumptions. After all, you wouldn't be so uneasy with allies.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
I sense a third Shen coming along, not sure what to think about that

"You are not sith" And you are not grammar my dude. Anyways time to see what kinda stuff I can do with Senjutsu chakra. Maybe just let Taiyo create a full on Spirit Bomb, since we do steal all the dragon ball.
Remember Senjutsu energy is very violent, if it exceeds the amount of chakra Taiyo has in his body it'll devour him and turn him to stone.

Gathering a 'mass' of senjutsu energy will need an equally large chakra pool to balance things out.

I love how positive Seiun is about this whole 'slave' situation despite the Mist having a system in place to ensure the lowest cast of citizens (those who were former enemies) are too busy being meatshields to rebel or they die trying.
=========Kiri Canon Society Index==========
The Mist has 3 general tiers of citizens in canon.

1st Caste - Pure Blooded Mist - Original Denizens of Kiri.

2nd Caste - Allies who joined the mist.

3rd Case - Enemies who were subjugated.

The third cast is openly shown prejudice, and are quite literally treated as expendables. They're sent on all the most dangerous missions to keep them too busy to rebel or even better -dead.
================

Fun fact; Iwa attacked Konoha right after the Konoha crush to take advantage of their weakened man-power, they were however thwarted by plot armor.

Seiun: Well its easy to love life when you master is kind.
Tsuki: Thank you!
Seiun: You're welcome, then again, your the least weird girl I've met.
Tsuki: the sad thing is that I can understand where you get those beliefs.

Seiun is actually being pretty hilarious considering his position XD. And that he’s the same deranged psychopath that murdered his own family.
