In short, his OC’s start out defensively on those he expects a lot of resistance fromEh, that's where you're wrong.
As far as Baiyan was concerned Azumi and Reaver were a 'team' opponent, because Reaver wasn't human, and hence must've been Azumi's summon.
She kept her attention partially on Reaver because she figured he would've been a part of the battle. To say she wasn't taking the battle seriously is also an assumption. I didn't write her as being straight-laced or specifically paying rapt attention to the battle, but that's doesn't equate to her not taking the battle seriously.
She was incredibly cautious for the entire first half of the fight, and I played defensively. In fact, if you want to analyze all the battles I've ever RPed, then you'll realize that I rarely if ever, start out a fight in the defensive. There are only 3 battles I've ever been in where I started out defensively, Kai, Katsuo, and Azumi.
The first two being rivals to Sagisō and characters I always fight seriously because they're very skilled, and the Azumi because I was playing defensively to feel out your strategy. The Azumi fight was definitely one of the most serious fights I've ever taken, I created an entire slew of skills just in preparation for that fight.
For reference, I haven't taken any other fight as seriously as to start out on the defensive. Kabuto, Shura (both times), Taiyo, Zaku, Kidomaru, I went on the offensive for all of them.
Defensive battling isn't my way of treating a character as an easy fight. I only fight defensively when I expect a certain level of skill from my opponent and I refuse to rush in an just let things fall where they may. I've got a very high level of respect for you and your fighting style, more than you seem to have in yourself, and I can say with certainty that I don't mess around with battles against you.
Who knows, Taiyo's gonna be getting a lot of buffs coming Shippuden, so you may wanna watch out for that Power Creep of his, Tsuki will also be getting one too, ad well as Seiun, so in short, I'm getting b u f f sIn short, his OC’s start out defensively on those he expects a lot of resistance from
Haha you thought that you can do that like I did with Hashima.... N OGuren: *Looks around* My guess is a chunin level genjutsu. *Flicks quick hand sign*
Although if it is a Genjutsu, I'm not really seeing the point of the scroll if you could just cast it at any moment.
Well unlike Hashbrown(Hashima), Guren will actually live long enough to prove her power, plus she's a Kage.Haha you thought that you can do that like I did with Hashima.... N O
Guren isn’t a kage, a tier under I believeWell unlike Hashbrown(Hashima), Guren will actually live long enough to prove her power, plus she's a Kage.
Heh, that was an alternate plan with an alternate result. I have countermeasures for my countermeasuresGuren: *Looks around* My guess is a chunin level genjutsu. *Flicks quick hand sign*

You wanna go?! Hashima v Taiyo let’s go!Well unlike Hashbrown(Hashima), Guren will actually live long enough to prove her power, plus she's a Kage.
lmao, no, not at all. But Furījia vs Taiyo wasn't a fight I set out to win in the first place. I even said before the battle that I wasn't gonna bother with strategy, just an all-out offensive I could have fun with.
Someone needs to send Taiyo to the afterlife first...You wanna go?! Hashima v Taiyo let’s go!
Well if I'm right and it is a genjutsu.
....Y E S
If it is, being performed by an average ranking ninja, a Kakashi level Jonin like Guren would dispelled it instantly.
Although I'm hoping that's not all, with the big talk of surprises coming from Shen.
Taiyo wins easy clap, you can't fight a corpse lol, plus Hashbrown would just get chopped, just like how Kiro ate her all that time ago.You wanna go?! Hashima v Taiyo let’s go!
I think I know just the person... HYO COME OVER HERESomeone needs to send Taiyo to the afterlife first...
*thanos unsnaps fingers*Taiyo wins easy clap, you can't fight a corpse lol, plus Hashbrown would just get chopped, just like how Kiro ate her all that time ago.
(That sounds weirder than I intended)
Taiyo: Nope *smokebombs away*I think I know just the person... HYO COME OVER HERE
Chexklist of People Taiyo needs to Fight/Spar withyou'd been facing Sagisō that would've been a totally different situation. I take all my fights with her extremely seriously,
Zaku:...you mean the guy I fooled before stealing his crap?Taiyo: Nope *smokebombs away*
Chexklist of People Taiyo needs to Fight/Spar with
Zaku
Sagiso
Raiku
I only see myself winning one of them lol.
Taiyo: Well I can't fight someone who just came back to life, that's mean. Plus you saved my life against Kin,(she wasn't that much of a threat tho...jk I would have died if she was going all out) Point is, enjoy yourself since you just got back.Hashima: you were
Yes, don't worry he'd easy to beat, assuming he's as dumb as you thunk he is.Zaku:...you mean the guy I fooled before stealing his crap? Who then proceeded to kick me in the face and cause me to mess up my one trick and make me look dumb? That guy?
I would’ve made a response with one of my other OC’s but then u would’ve said “says the person that barely anyone knows”Taiyo: Well I can't fight someone who just came back to life, that's mean. Plus you saved my life against Kin,(she wasn't that much of a threat tho...jk I would have died if she was going all out) Point is, enjoy yourself since you just got back.
W-where’s fun and merciful mode?Hmmm, to explain it better.
I fight in 2 modes;
Serious mode & Scheming mode.
In serious mode, I just let my characters battle to the best of their ability, in scheming mode you get all my attempts at traps and setups and whatnot.
Scheming mode is exhausting though and kinda takes the fun out of battles I have to be putting in so much work. I prefer to just be regularly serious.
Kai: better question. Where is get back in the kitchen mode?W-where’s fun and merciful mode?
Insert Kyuu:*laughs in pure mist blood*W-where’s fun and merciful mode?
Eh, that's where you're wrong.

Tsuki: I also have two modes: useless mode, and angry mode. Fourtunately no one made me really angry so yeah, I'm uselessKai: better question. Where is get back in the kitchen mode?
Kai: SHES A HALFBREED AND YOU KNOW ITInsert Kyuu:*laughs in pure mist blood*
*me when I fight soul*But I do appreciate the fact you think my style was worth this effort on your end. Even if my "style" isn't so much consistent and really I was in complete and utter try hard mode for that specific fight cause it did mean a lot to me (Without going too far to hide things like say Azumi vs. Kiro).
What about your kage?Kai: SHES A HALFBREED AND YOU KNOW IT
My fun doesn't involve showing my opponents mercy xDW-where’s fun and merciful mode?
Seiun: At least she has mist blood in her, more than I can say, unless, HEY TSUKI, GIVE ME SOME OF YOUR BLOOD!Kai: SHES A HALFBREED AND YOU KNOW IT
Wait wait wait... *record stops* you’re saying you DONT plan your steps?!My fun doesn't involve showing my opponents mercy xD
The most fun I've had was a quick hand-to-hand exchange with Katsuo. I'm actually going to make things more fun for myself with Sagisō by introducing an acrobatic style to her fighting.
I prefer fighting based on instinct rather than planning out all my steps. Even better in melee brawls. I'm gonna have a world of fun with Kidomaru xD
Kai: it makes you an abomination and need of death. That clear things up?Seiun: At least she has mist blood in her, more than I can say, unless, HEY TSUKI, GIVE ME SOME OF YOUR BLOOD!
I mean technically since some of Tsuki's blood is flowing through Taiyo, doesn't that make him .000000001% mist or was the pure blood already corrupted by Xeno Blood?
Taiyo: Oh....*has some of Tsuki's blood* Oh no...(why does everyone want to kill me?)Kai: it makes you an abomination and need of death. That clear things up?
