Which would be fine if changing the environment was not a giant clue that it was a Genjutsu to our characters leading to Releases. But I do agree it's about the best we can do.

It's not the fact that its controversy, its the fact that what she did to Kiro would've made it the most anti-climactic fight in the whole Rp and I'd probably have to nerf Sagisō heavily afterward before anyone would be willing to fight her xD

Well technically it would stir up a debate, which would basically lead to a controversial topic.
Kiro vs. Tomiko was controversy free. Even in spite of my complaints at the time it was a definitive victory. Probably the purest fight he has XD

So similar to how she uses her flute to control the Doki. Have her use her flute to bolster the growth of a plant or something like that, sorta like Kurenai's plant-ish genjutsu.

As long as you have her playing the flute, it would be a distraction for where the real genjutsu is coming from, which is the pollen from the trees. She'd actually be using her genjutsu to mask the appearance of the trees and hide them and stuff.
She'd need to carry around seeds to use though.
Substance based genjutsu isn't broken as easily as chakra based genjutsu because there's something physically influencing your body.
Then you mix it with this;

Well the point of genjustu is a mind labrnyth. Riddles and schemes to mess with someone’s mind. It undermines it if you know how to navigate it already
They are sound ninja after all. And I think we talked about his several times too
Just saying not all Sound Ninja have super hearing. That was a Dosu-exclusive ability part of his style.

if we pair Konoha ninja against the sound, then that means the Mist and Kumo have to fight because otherwise we won't have enough people.
As it is now we'll be good so long as we pair 1 Suna/Konoha to Mist/Kumo/Oto

personally, I'd like to get some practice in with Yasu's new style before it goes against Zaku. It's mostly just theory in my head so I don't know how it'll work itself out.

Genjutsu is kind of in a grey area with auto-ing and all, and the match-ups of the Battle Royale were discussed. Can't remember the exact details
