Also, let me make sure I got his abilities good, he is smart, has magical cards, can absorb magic basically from anything, power up his weapons with magic , control the dark element and skilled at fighting with his swords?

Yes. So he has 2 weaknesses, 1. he can't absorb multiple attacks at once and doesn't have the best physical defense while his magic defense is quite good, 2. whenever he gets scared he freezes up and has to take some time to adjust, and 3. when he is angry his accuracy is lowered and while he has boosted attack he basically has a 40% chance to hit his target. Sorry for taking so long.
@lordofdragons7 I would say that it isn't possible. Unless one of your parents isn't a humanoid... he he. As for a Dragon Village, choose a dragon if you aren't from the Kelian Dragon Villages.
Okay, Jason's mom would be a dragon/human(more human than dragon) and his dad's just human.

That makes more sense. Also how are we gonna include my character in the RP? I checked and you were in a battle with the antagonist.
Plus two characters may/are in a battle right now and not even everyone is there! I thought of entering to interrupt the battle but that might ruin the moment. What do you guys think?
@lordofdragons7, what it could be insead of an actual dragon. You already have the premise for this. Is that a dragon type gave the powers to his mother. It would be like in dnd where a warlock is granted powers from a being of power.
Alternativly it could be a demon that is more dragon then human. Take Wite as an example. She is a humanoid who is more dog like. So it could be a demon that was the benefactor for the person.
Also I would not interrupt the battle as it is a part of a major plot for the RP and it would just stall everything. If you want to you could be a native of the island, but then he would be extremely taxed by environment as he is not a demon or part demon.

Ashley is back in Kelan, she is currently trying to track down her boyfriend, who was kidnapped by a Ninja. Rocco is currently trying to find Marquis, and Tempest is trying to find and help Maira.

Story Issue: Alright I didn't want to it was just a thought. I also thought of having my character trying to kill Marquis and he got the island later than everyone else did and while Wite and Wes are fighting he could be trying to kill Marquis. Just an idea! I think it could fit.

It might but that is not really possible as it took the group a month to get to the island. Though it could fit, the plot is already set were he will die anyway. Wite has pretty much killed him, it is just a matter of story moving along. So I would wait to join the RP at the moment.
So after the island?
How much time would that take?
I think my character will have been on the island when the PLOT happens but is not a native and came to the island to explore. How does that sound?
Probably the closest town to the island. (don't have a name right now) He is sort of a mercenary/drifter so it fits that he would head there.
Well the whole premise of the story so far is that the island is basically undiscovered from the Kalien kingdom. If you came from another land then it would have to be something close to the island that we are on now.
Right. By the way how long should my character be on the island for? If it is for a while then he could have adapted to the lowered stats and be better off but this would throw the whole "be a demon or face stat drops" out the window.
The lower stats came about suddenly he would not have been able to actually get used to it. There are only two characters besides Wite that are not effected by them.
Right, I thought so. P.S how do battles take place? Are they real-time(FFIV) or turn-based(FFX)?
Battles are a bit turn based, but actions have to be open ended so the other person can react and dodge if they feel they need to. Not everyone can dodge every attack. Which is something I am still working on a bit.

Given time Jason could do it. If Sarah was there she could do it as well. Though she would not be able to do anything with the island like it is as she would basically be on death's door.
