Hi, all! This will be a classic tale of the adventures of a few friends in the world of Pokemon, traveling together to reach their personal dreams and aspirations and helping one another grow along the way. It will take place in the current anime timeline, so everything up to that point may be considered canon for this story up to and including established rules, events, locations, Pokemon, and characters. However, it should be noted that this story can and will involve mature and possibly triggering content as we will be dealing with themes including violence, relationship conflicts (familial, romantic, or otherwise), illness, romance, personal struggle, and death. Of course, it won't constantly be so doom and gloom!
As for the setting, our story begins on a frosty November morning in Sandgem Town, Sinnoh. Whether you're a new trainer just starting out or getting a late start on your journey, a passing traveler, a bored shopkeeper who dreams of adventure, or a vacuum salesperson is up to you. This is the place where all our characters will meet and set off on their travels from, in a region where seemingly random disappearances, grand larceny, and murder are instances occurring and being broadcast by the news with alarmingly increasing frequency. Whether our heroes will follow in the footsteps of previous public defenders or carry on about their lives has yet to see the light.
I'm looking for those who are able and willing to write about all of the above and more, to bring different perspectives and life to the story, who are deeply descriptive, creative, great at storytelling and improvisation, and eager to have fun. We all hate those boring and bland one-liner posts. Preferably those who are able to post several times a week are wanted most, or at the very least able to plot with us in our soon-to-be-established group chat, but I understand activity can be tricky as I'm busy myself. Yet the goal of this is to have a long-lived and exciting storyline, and we can't do that unless we communicate. This is a premise you've heard before, but hopefully its execution will exceed the expectations of all involved. Thanks for reading, and hope you join!

Rules:
1. No Legendaries will be seen or encountered or caught throughout the duration of this RP without first talking to the group. Any violation of this rule will be reported to higher authority and banned from role-playing.
2. No Auto-ing. (Forcing a hit on another players Pokemon) It's okay to lose sometimes, guys. Encouraged, even!
3. Levels won't exist in the story, but please don't be an overpowered Mary Sue/Marty Stu especially if your character is a lil' tween. We're going for relative realism here. Speaking of...
4. No Mary Sues/Marty Stus. Because lame. You're bringing characters to life with your writing, so give them flaws, goals, make them interesting and fun!
5. Each player is allowed as many characters as they can handle as long as they mesh well with the story, and are also encouraged to play up some NPCs as well.
6. Romance is cool, just follow site rules!
7. Making friends is always nice and should always be a top priority when going on a journey, but if your character is a natural loner at first then feel free to have them away from the group from time to time.
8. No bullying and I mean that in totality. What is the point on hammer-arming on someone because of their choices in the game or outside of it? If it bothers you, talk to them about it respectfully or send a message to myself or an administrator. Bullying is not tolerated and will be responded with harsh consequences.
9. 17+ players are wanted most, but younger may also apply if they are mature enough to follow rules and guidelines.
10. Please try to use proper spelling and grammar whenever possible!
11. Possibly the BIGGEST rule of role-playing... make sure you and everyone else is having fun. Thanks for reading!

Name: Felix Reyes
Gender: Male
Hometown: Celadon City, Kanto
Age: 18
Appearance: Stands at 5'10 with a lean, slightly muscled build from years of sports. He has short brown curly hair, upturned hazel eyes, and cinnamon-colored skin. Casual wear is relatively simple and includes a simple black t-shirt, black shorts, black and white sneakers and a similarly colored light zip-up jacket. He keeps extra supplies in a black traveling backpack with his sleeping bag tucked in neatly on top.
Brief Bio+Personality:
Since the day he could crawl, Felix had always been exploring. From the inside of the washing machine to the top branches of trees, he loved adventure. When he was young, he would always imagine he had his own team of Pokemon to help ward off the invisible army of enemies that lived in the alleys and parks of Celadon City, the place where he grew up. He liked to think he had a fairly okay childhood, void of his father though it was, yet he seldom seemed to even acknowledge that fact. Felix had a habit of pushing his negative feelings away rather than dealing with them outright, and though his mother attempted to help with that, he refused. He always kept himself distracted somehow, either by going to the beach with his friends or family, having battles around his city, or by simply dreaming of doing something more.
The day he first became a trainer and met Balerion was his dream come true, and for a few weeks the boy actually gained some decent experience for himself. Yet in time he found himself returning home to help his mother take care of his two younger sisters. He never forgot his short travels, though, and was eager to pick up where he had left off - and he eventually was lucky enough to get the opportunity once more. This time, Felix wanted to go abroad, take risks, meet new people, learn new customs; and after saving up, he did just that. He was heading off to Sinnoh.
Pokémon:
Charmeleon (aka Balerion), Male, Blaze ability, and no special features.
Aron (aka Titan), Female, Sturdy ability, no special features.
