A knife to the torso is a knife to the torso and if they are not dead, they can easily point at Kirin as the one who stabbed them
they're too busy freaking out about getting shanked
and getting an ice pack from the nurse
If I got shanked, I feel like I'd know quite well who shanked me, even through the pain of being shanked

Even with the Oscillation, it's hard to tell which one takes priority:
