Your journey starts the beginning of summer break. Cedric Juniper, father of Pokémon Professor Juniper has sent you a email highlighting a new adventure and he needs strong able body trainers to carry out a task for him.

"Hello! <Trainer>. Let me Introduce myself, I am Cedric Juniper. I'm gathering strong trainers from across the world to aid me on a important task and journey. I've gathered thousands of data, and through much research I've chosen you and others to aid me. I will explain everything in person if you wish to accept this opportunity. But knowing what kind of trainer you are already, I doubt you'll pass this up. I will provide starter Pokémon if necessary. Please meet me at Hotel Grand Lake located at the crossroads between sunyshore city, Veilstone city and Pastoria City at 2pm. Can't wait to meet you!

In this journey, we will be traveling to a cave that has been recently discovered by only Professor Juniper and his daughter. But due to work they are unable to explore it themselves. They believe that a new Pokémon habitat and energy source might be flowing through it.


Things to know:
  • regular Pokecharms rules apply.
  • New Teams are allowed
  • Old Teams are allowed
  • Pokemon Starters are random, not basic starters.
  • Trainer ages should be between 18-25 [I'll make a prelude RP depending on how this goes]
  • Ask to join!
  • Character Bio's are needed if you'd like to join.
  • Trainer is only allowed to catch 1 new Pokémon, if desired. (doesn't include end Pokémon)
  • I don't want this to be a long on going rp, there will be a ending.

Hair: red spiked hair, with a black under tone. his bangs hang low but some of his hair in the front spike up and back.
Eyes: solid black, serious scald.
Clothing: black athletic jacket with black athletic shorts, he changes cloths here and there.
Identifying Marks: a scar on the right side of his forehead, and a few scars on his legs from childhood.
Musculature: he’s built well from all the fighting and running he’s done at school.

Personality: Qynn starts off as a arrogant, introverted and taciturn young man since his primary years. Quick to push away those he would considered his friends. Even though he is withdrawn, It doesn’t stop Qynn from trying new things or being around people. He struggles everyday to find other trainers that understand him and aren’t quick to label him as unapproachable. His mother and father weren’t shy to call their child difficult. Qynn has admitted to himself he acts the way he does sometimes out of fear of getting close to people and pokémon alike.

Skills: Item crafting, Poison researcher and future scientist.

Past: Qynn grew up outside of lavender town, where his family were considered outcast for their belief in science. Later relocated to Nacrene city, we’re his father passed away do to an explosion in his lap with his Arbok and Luxray. Qynn made friends with an abandon skorupi one faithful night while he was being chased by the local gang and their pokémon from his middle school. Skorupi became Qynn’s first pokémon and best friend. His love of Poison and Electric pokémon were fueled by both his parents who he loved dearly. Once in high school, Qynn met his second pokémon eevee who later evolves into jolteon after falling on a thunder stone while on a mushroom hunt in the forest not to far from the town. Qynn is constantly running and climbing improving his scavenger skills and knowledge of vegetation to make new pokémon items and medicine. During a school attack caused by a gang, he developed ptsd and a phobia towards fire type pokémon.

Present: Currently in college, top of his class. Qynn is studying to complete his father's life work and to find his mother who had gone missing during his last years of highschool after traveling to kanto to visit his uncle and her old friend Koga. His knowledge in Poison, Electric and Ice type Pokémon has caught the eyes of some elite four members.

Nickname: Pinch | Gender: ♀
History: saved Qynn from a gang chasing him, as a skorupi.
Personality: Naughty by nature, the jealous and territorial type. Pinch loves and respects Qynn heavily. She doesn't like when female trainers or other pokemon get to close to Qynn in the case that they hurt him. She's overprotective and has the power to enforce it. Qynn on the other hand loves her and see throughs her tough exterior as a gentle softy when she opens up to others.

Nickname: Arc | Gender: ♂
History: being chased by a group of houndour through the city allies, Qynn rescued Arc from near death. Later on a ingredient search through the wood, Arc tumbled down the side of the cliff and landed next to a thunder stone and evolved into Jolteon
Personality: Loner by nature, but likes to curl up next to Qynn when tired. Arc and Pinch get along fairly well with mild stubborn fights here and there.

Appearance: She is abit of chubby girl, but that doesn't slow her down. She has Shoulder length bleach blonde hair with a slight beach wave curl to it. Her eyes are a clear emerald green, her father always told her they look like emeralds we're embed into her eyes. Her father was crazy, but she has a tan porcelain skin tone that compliments her hair.

"Imperfections" in appearance: She has a large burn scar on the side of her face, even tho she tries to hide it. Its always haunted her since she was little, She also has a few scattered cuts around her body from her wondering into wild Pokemon areas an trying to stop the Pokemon from fighting.

Clothes: She wears a oversized white turtleneck sweater with a mid-thigh baby blue skirt. She also wears white thigh highs with a pair of 1-inch platform boots that reach up to her mid caf. She also wears a tan shoulder bag where she keeps her berries, pokemon, etc.

Personality: She has a clumsy but airy personality. Many discribe her as a care free clumsy child. But it's never bothered her do to her caring and determined attitude towards Pokemon and people alike. Danny will always try and sacrifice herself to help others, many the wild Pokemon around her home.

Phobias: She is VERY sceptical and skittish around fires. Due to her being burned in the passed. But she tries not to let her effect her with fire type Pokemon.

Past: When she was a child a Pokemon hunter party chased a wild Pokemon through her back yard. Being the kind child she was she tried to help and hide it from the hunters, but one of the hunters houndooms used Flame thrower( Can't remember the fire move sit could learn xD) and attacked her trying to get at the Pokemon. After being burn badly her father heard the commotion and ran out, he tried to help her but she was burned badly leaving the scar. Since then shes been trying to get over her fear of fire slowly.

Present: Danny travels around, helping Pokemons when she can. Even tho she does get hurt in the process but her kindness has won over a few Pokemon on her journeys.

Nickname: Moon
History: Danny rescued her when she was only a budew from a pack of angry sparrows. Moon then followed Danny everywhere curious of her, then after watching her save a riolu that got chance away from it's home desired to join her and help her protect others.
Personality: Shy turned Brave as she fends off others from hurting her friends

Pokemon Species: Lucario | ♂️
Nickname: Pocket
History: He was chased around by a mean gulbat, he was ingured by it as he was trying to defend his berries from the bat Pokemon. Danny then found him soon after and helped him by treating his wounds. Being grateful he decided to join her on her soon coming adventure, then he also meet moon soon after.
Personality: Serious by nature, He is a determined Pokemon that never wants to be bullied or see others being bullied.

Rarely he sports sliver framed glasses and a black beanie but not all the time. Clothing is usually a throw sweater and dark brown-black trousers. He wears black and white shoes and sometimes changes into a white button down with a white tank top underneath and long brown pants with again black and white shoes.

Body build is said to be lanky yet still have a bit of weight.

Personality: Wilbur has a charming, cocky and self-caring personality that seems to get to him. He cannot escape the fact that he might be slowly dying (he isn’t.) Caught: She was caught as a small Kirlia found in an abandoned nursery.

What It Looks Like: North wears a black top hat with a red ribbon going around it. He has another blue beaded bracelet around his wrist.
Personality: North is a distanced Pokémon, usually trying to be the last resort to battles. He is scared of the dark.
Caught: North was the first Pokémon Wilbur caught, making it extremely special.

Name: Spy | Gender: ♂
What It Looks Like: Spy has a Bisexual (Pink, Purple, Blue) flag colored bandanna around his neck. It is said to represent Wilbur’s sexuality. He is also shiny.
Personality: Spy is definitely the trickster of the group. He is very over-confident and can be a pain in the ass. He doesn’t mean it and loves food.
Caught: Spy was caught running around like a Beedrill in Wilbur’s backyard.

Musculature: he’s tall and skinny, yet very speedy due to all his running training.

Personality: Gale is a very happy, kind, cheerful and EXTREMELY energetic person. He’s also extremely friendly to everyone he meets and is very confident in making friends and his social skills. He loves meeting new people, and his partner Pokemon that come with him. But however, he tends to like to get things done. He’s pretty impatient at times and likes to get things done quickly rather than take the time to do things. But overall, he’s a kind dude.

What they decided to do was use Hammerlocke’s Power Plant to take Electric-Type, Fire-Types, Ground-Types, Water-Types and Flying-Types to power their new generator that will spread energy to their Galar region and got their son a Pikachu as a 2nd Pokémon so he could train and get stronger as a trainer and learn to have multiple Pokémon instead of just one Toxitricity. He went around Wyndon one day on a walk and found a random Eevee in a bush, terrified for it’s health, he ran to a Pokecenter to heal it. He later found out a jerk trainer left it there and never came back. Gale, being concerned decided to capture it so it could train with him and make more friends.

Present: Currently in his Senior Year of High School, he’s one of the fastest runners on his track team and has won many track and Pokémon competition’s alike. Some people make fun of him for not having a team of 6 Pokémon, but he doesn’t care too much about that.

History: When he was 12, Gale met Toxtricity as a Toxel from a field trip to the Pokémon Daycare on Route 5. While he was there, Toxel took quite a liking to him and would follow him around. Gale, being the kind dude that he was, let it come with him. After they were about to get on the Flying Taxi to get back to school, he turned and saw Toxel looking really sad at the sight of him leaving, so the Daycare worker let Gale catch the Toxel. Since then, the 2 have became inseparable and have competed in many Pokémon competitions.
Personality: Hasty Nature: ( +Spe -Def ) Toxtricity loves taking risks and battling with other Pokémon, whether he’s training or in a serious battle, he’s always ready to fight. Which proves Toxtricity as his ace Pokémon.

History: A year later, ( 13 ) Gale went on a Pokémon Journey. When he went to Route 4, he saw a very rare Eevee and was his first Pokémon Capture. At first, Eevee disrespected Gale which started a rivalry between Toxel and Eevee. But after Gale saved it from a wild Mamoswine, he finally respected and listened to Gale. ( Shortly after, Gale gave it his spare Thunderstone and it quickly evolved. )
Personality: Jolly Nature: ( +Spe -Spa ) Shortly after being with Gale, he developed a cute and playful personality. Almost like a little puppy, but don’t let that deter you, this Pokémon can let lose POWERFUL Thunderbolts. Plus, he’s Gale’s speediest Pokémon.

Pokemon Species: Electabuzz
Nickname: None | Gender: Male
History: Two years after the capture of Eevee, his family went on a trip to the Crown Tundra. While he went traveling with his parents, they stumbled upon an angry Electabuzz who charged directly at them. Gale was able to weaken it enough to capture it. And to this day, he’s still working on Elecatbuzz’s anger issues.
Personality: Bashful Nature, despite it’s anger issues, it’s a REAL powerhouse in battle. It can hit very hard and can defeat things in just a few hits.

I really like Wilbur’s character. also, the outer appearances of the pokémon.

Hmmm Venipede starter interesting. But yea I may have Danny pick a random starter and have it be a fire type. It would be funny if the fire type she got a houndoom that’s really shy.

depending on which ones will determine certain interactions like qynn and danny seeing a fire type that could trigger a phobia and i see that maybe wilbur would like a mewostic so i was gonna add a few in the cave.

Yessss. I can have Danny pick a random Pokémon and get a fire type. It would be a good plot twist and it e a houndoom, or what ever it’s first evolution is. I can’t remember.

hehe I was thinking same thing, but i already hold a egg, and might decide to pick up a fire type in the cave. but some of my starter picks are looking interesting enough. since qynn is a poison type trainer mainly he’s also a scientist and i wanted to have his team centered around pokémon that ether help him search territories or help him in the lab. hehe but yes i feel a shy houndour would be great addition for you too.

I have her team manly setup to be with Pokemon who need a large amount of friendship to evolve.i think it suits her with her personality. And also who doesn't love plot twists

haha I thought so too. I know some of these are actually not up to standard for beginner/starter pokemon. But every trainer is different in the world of pokemon :p so I don't see why not ya know.
