WARNING: SOME VIOLENCE AHEAD INCLUDING SOME BLOOD AND GORE
~~~Outskirts of Comet Trail City~~~
“C’mon, hurry up, we got to get back to the school to warn everyone!” Vic shouted to Dory who was few steps behind him. He checked his phone and it was still bugging out. “Damn it, still blocked….” He heard a girl’s joyous laughter and ignited his right arm in fire as his left arm became frozen blue. He looked around frantically as he and Dory ran down the alley way for the source of the sound.
“WATCH OUT!” Dory yelled as a blonde girl with very long twin-tails ending in large curls, suddenly appeared a few meters in front of them blocking their patch. She was wearing richly adorned backless white, violet, and purple Lolita-styled dress with matching boots (the platforms resembling skulls with fangs), fingerless gloves that ends half way up her forearms, and a small sing purse. She accentuates with a large violet colored hair bow and a large violet bow at the small of her back on her dress, with the centers being fanged skulls, a collar, and earrings, all with the same fanged skull designs on them. She is also frequently seen with a matching violet and purple colored parasol.
“Don’t be a naughty boy and go sharing a girl’s secrets!” the blond girl exclaimed leaning playfully towards them.
Without hesitation, Vic shot out a fusion bolt of fire and ice energy at the blonde girl. The bolt seemed to have made impact, a massive explosion of fire and ice erupted when the bolt exploded.
“Did you get her?” Dory asked stopping next to Vic.
“I’m not sure….” Vic narrowed his eyes trying to see past the fog created from the blast. He stood ready for action. He frowned and sighed when two brightly glowing blue dots shone through the fog, slowly walking towards them.
“Now, now, now, is that any way to greet someone? Attacking a fragile flower….Your mommy should teach you some manners sweetie!” the voice said from within the fog. The first thing that appeared out of the fog was the tip of her parasol, she was casually holding it in her right hand angling it downwards similar to how a person would hold a sword. The rest of her emerged from the fog completely undamaged and unfazed by the attack. She smiled at them warmly, except given the situation, it seemed immensely menacing.
Dory leapt into the air and fired a large golden beam of light down at the blond girl, it was almost like a laser.
The girl opened her parasol and held it in front of her with unnatural speed. The laser hit the surface of the parasol, the beam diffracted into hundreds of smaller lasers in all directions, uselessly fading into nothing before it left the edges of the parasol. A dense mesh of hexagon patterns flashed for an instant as the laser hit, sending a single ripple across the surface of the parasol like water, and a bit beyond the edges of it. Not a single scratch was on the surface. After she closed the parasol, she held it out to her side the tip pointed at the wall next to her, each panel of the parasol detached from one another leaving a small gap in-between each triangle section and surges of electricity could be seen coursing throughout the structure, the panels slowly rotated around the center pole of the parasol. A bright violet light was shining through the gaps along with a low distorted metallic sound that sounded like a powerful engine revving up. The panels of the parasol closed as the girl held it up like a pistol and fired, her movements seemed unnaturally quick and precise.
“GET DOWN!” Vic yelled grabbing Dory and throwing the two of them onto the ground.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Four bright violet tennis ball sized spheres of light flew over them in a flash. The ground quakes as the building behind them is utterly reduced to rubble from the four projectiles. “Oh gosh! Now why did you have to go and do that for?” the blonde girl gasped at the destruction. “Now, that’s no good!”
Dory grunted in anger her hands consumed by large orbs of golden light. She flies into the air and begins bombarding the blonde girl with bolts of light. There were so many bolts that it looked like rain.
The blonder girl stood her ground as the barrage came crashing down on her. To Dory’s anger the girl was laughing and giggling as she moved completely unnaturally, dodging every bolt with pinpoint precision.
“Being so angry can’t possibly be good for your complexion!”
“Wha?” Dory looked behind her to see the blond girl above her in the air, “When did you –.“
BOOM!
The blonde girl had pointed the end of her parasol down the nape of her neck and fired. The power of the shot caused Dory to be instantaneously knocked out, as well as burning off the back of her hair, clothes, and severely burning her skin. She plummeted into the earth crashing into a small crater, unmoving,but still very much alive.
“DORY!” Vic screamed looking up at the blonde girl, he ignited his arms in ice and flames in fury ready for an attack.
“You know, it’s rude to look up a girl’s dress.” The blonde girl whispered into Vic’s ear, brushing extremely close to Vic’s back.
Instinctively, he threw both of his arms backwards expelling the ice and fire energy causing another chaotic explosion. Before he realized it, a sharp pain pierced his chest followed by a warm liquid feeling that spread across his lungs and a powerful urge to cough. He slowly turned his head to look forward.
The blonde girl was standing at arm and parasol length in front of him. The tip of the umbrellas stabbed firmly into the center of Vic’s chest. “It’s time you gone to sleep sweetie. Au revoir.” The same low distorted metallic sound that sounded like a powerful engine revving up could be head coming from her umbrella as she pulled the trigger on the parasol handle. With a bright violet flash of light, a large circular hole exploded outwards from Vic’s back, sending pulverized and burnt flesh, bone, and gore out behind him. His body flew several meters back landing hard on the ground, unmoving.
The girl whipped the parasol to her side like a swordsman throwing blood off their blade, this having the same effect on the umbrella, splattering Vic’s blood on the wall next to her. As she did so the panels of the parasol detached once more and six empty shells were also thrown out behind her by the throwing motion. The shells were still molten red with heat, slightly whistling and hissing charring the ground where they had bounced and landed. They resembled shotgun shells, but appeared to be made entirely out of metal.
A young man walked out of the nearby shadows He has long light blonde hair that appears almost white that he styles to cover over his left eye while smaller locks frame the other side of his face, and the rest of his hair is held back with a hair band into a bun that hangs just above the nape of his neck. His eyes are a silvery grey color that seems to faintly glow. At a glance he can easily be mistaken for a girl. He was wearing white, high-collared body suit, the texture being similar to leather, with silvery wave-like trim around ankles. The leg openings flair outwards so they cover the entirety of his shoes. He also wears a matching jacket with flared sleeves that covers most of his hands with the exception of his fingers a black studded belt. A silver fanged skull design is on the back of the jacket along with the same silvery wave-like trim around the sleeve endings.
“Such a hassle….” King said looking at the sprawled remains of Vic. His right hand pulsed with black energy, it dripped downwards but each drop of the energy faded into nothing before hitting the ground. With a simple gesture he flicked a golf ball sized sphere of the black energy onto the corpse igniting it with black and grey colored flames, it gave off no heat or light, but within a minute the corpse began to burn away with the black flames turning into nothingness.
“Don’t matter, if he wanted to be a hero, then he’ll die like the rest.” Ani opened her parasol and slung it over her shoulder. “It’s time we go to school to collect the rest.” Ani takes a few steps before vanishing.
“Requesting extraction of Light Bender Dory. Injuries include burns to head, neck and back, non-critical….” King said into a micro communicator on the collar of his jacket, and then he pulled out a small T shaped syringe with a dark almost ink-like liquid on either side of the needle. He lifted Dory’s head and injected it into the side of her neck. Then he jumped into the air and vanished into black smoke.
Ani reappeared outside the main administrative building, King reappearing slightly behind her. The two of them walked into the school in silence. They were off to meet the principal and administrative staff to properly integrate into the school. They knew their mission, and it officially begins now.
