"Devin are you sure this is the best way to spend time, I really want to get ready for that dance tonight."

"Why, you got a big date or something?"

"No, we've been on campus a day and besides you rushed us out of class to the training fields."

"Well duh, after dull lectures are you not eager to get your legs moving and do something fun?"

"I'd prefer to form social bonds and you know...make friends here."

"It's one day, chill. I mean we can just call it here if you are scared to lose..."

"...you get five minutes."

Diane and Drake had been at the training fieeld for some time, as evident by the scars of battle with holes and slash marks around them, as both seemed to be giving it an intense go despite it just being some casual training. Drake had his black scales on display and sharpened teeth & claws while Diane seemed to wear a light make-shift suit of armor made of various metals; neither went as far as they could but they didn't take it light either as both charged at the other.

Zant looked over at the shy girl that tried to get his attention. "Oh. Hey. Jude told me about you. I actually told him something about you. You are....kind of cute." Zant explained to her as he smiled on the last sentence. "I know you just met me but....would you want to go to that winter dance thing tonight?" Zant had made his move on a girl hoping for someone to go with to the dance.

Marcel watched from a distance how Elia reacted with those two other students. "Something doesn't sit right with me and those two Lazarus." (Luh-Zar-Us he is Marcel's brimstone demon. Basically The thing Marcel was born with to be the next leader/ruler of the brimstone agents.) Marcel had told his demon as he watched the three interact and making sure they weren't acting suspicious at all.

Porco was getting his other battle armors ready to be adjusted by Phoenix. 'Hopefully she knows what she is doing.' Porco told hmself as he left his lab locking the door on the way out. Porco was getting his outfit ready for the dance. 'Tonight is my night. Me and Tara. Us together during this dance....I have to be on high guard tonight. If anything does happen.' Porco told himself as he finished the rest of the outfit.

Phoenix walked, well floated out of the classroom. They had been not paying attention much other then when Porco was showing off his suits. Being some who knew about that kind of advanced technology was great at making the guy their friend.

Landing on the ground, Phoenix felt the cold marble of the floor under them. It was a great feeling. Remembering the map that was given by the Frostfire, who ran the school, they walked to the dorm section to find where the student with the suits went off to.

Phoenix was not really paying attention, when they ran right into a wall of flesh. Looking up, they noticed that it was not a wall, but the human they were looking for. "Oh sorry Parca, I did not see you there. You asked me to meet you at your dorm. Do you still need my help with improving your suits?"

Rowena had left the class without a care she was not one to delay getting out of a class that she did not really care for. With a thought, Rowena was in the training area watching two groups, one was the ice fairy she had talked with previously, and the other was the two that was ignored by the other students. Taking a seat in the stands, she watched the two groups battle.

Focusing her attention on the one with the group with two, she sat and studied their form in battle. Rowena was the type to learn about others through the way they fought. It seemed as if these two were holding back. Which is understandable, seeing as they did not want to hurt one another, or cause much damage.

As Drake and Diane battled, Diane fired what seemed to be several crumbled up metal spheres forward as projectiles while Drake grinned as he seemed to use his claws to slash and bash the projectiles away from him. "Have to try harder than that sis!"

Unfortunantly, one of the shots streaked away from them and towards a girl who had been observing them as quickly both Drake and Diane caught on as both watched it shoot to Rowena in horror.

"C-crap! Look out!" Drake called out as Diane shot an arm out and aimed to stop it just before it could smack Rowena in the face. "I-I-I am am so sorry!" Diane cried out as she recalled the small sphere.

Ani and King followed Eli, "Going alone? Won't you be lonely? It's not that hard to ask someone, I'm sure there are plenty of people who would love to go with you... unless you're too shy to ask a girl out?" Ani smirked playfully.

King sighed quietly into his map. the sounds of battle could be heard in the distance, which slightly caught his attention.

Rowena was ready for the ball to come at her. She stayed where she was and watched as it was stopped by the same person who had sent it. "It is ok. It probably would not have hurt too badly seeing as you guys were both holding back." Standing up, Rowena walked down from the stands and stood with the two.

"My name is Rowena Cromwell." Looking towards Drake she spoke to him. "Judging by the claws and fangs and the way you hold yourself, I would say you are part dragon." Rowena smiled at the guy. She had been observing his actions in class earlier and knew he was not one to be triffled with.

Salem was on Rowena's shoulder, he was not threated by the sight of the two, so he let himself be seen by them. He appeared on Rowena as if he was just there. "Oh by the way this is Salem."

Diane quickly removed her self-made armor and put it back in her back as Drake transformed back to normal as Rowena thankfully had not been hurt as she introduced herself along with her little companion Salem.

"Hello there, my name is Diane and this is my brother Drake. We are new transfers here." Diane explained as she gave warm introductions on their part as Drake addressed Rowena's guess that referred to what his powers were. "Yeah, can transform my body into that of a humanoid dragon. What about you?" Drake asked curious as he wondered what this girl's powers had been.

"O-oh and I move metal objects with my mind, for whatever that is worth." Diane said sheepishly as she wanted to avoid feeling left out even if her powers had not been asked for.

Ani and King had been listening to the introductions of these kids as they approached the training arenas with Eli. Their super enhanced senses doing wonders for them. Capturing the male and female dragons alive was something that was heavily stressed during their briefing. The prospects of creating an endless dragon farm is always something of great interest to the scientists of Nemesis Core, having an endless supply of research and genetic material to experiment on is always nice.

King looked at Ani who had a smile on her face that seemed to slightly resemble a slight W. he knew that look, that she was genuinely intrigued by something, Perhaps it was the Ice fairy, or just simply seeing more people with powers at the same place. Though King had given his hopes up. Judging from what he saw, everyone here is not even past armature hour according to his standards. But then again... who is? Besides certain members of Black Eden, one of them standing in front of him. King chuckled to himself. The moment Ani is allowed to do as she pleases... these kids will be in for a bad day.... King thought to himself amusingly.

"Well I am a bit more complicated then what meets the eye. I was born with the gift of wicka. Which is pssed down from mother to child in my family. In layman's terms I am witch. I have trained quite a long time then my age would suggest." With one thought Golden wings appeared behind Rowena. Rowena seemed to take on a golden glow as they extended to either side of here. The wingspan of the wings seemed to reach around ten feet from one wing to the next.

"On my father's side, he was an angel. Who was sent down to guide my mother and her sisters as they learned how to control their powers. My mom grew to love my father and out of that love came what I am." Rowena smiled as she let her glamor drop from her wings. She needed to do that every so often, but sensing that others were coming, she let her wings fade back and became invisible again.

"My other powers include healing, fire manipulation, and basically being a guide for other witches when needed. Salem is my familiar and is there to help me along the way. He is so like my best friend."

Damn, this girl has the superpower lottery!

Instantly as this girl explained how her powers worked, they instnatly felt a sense of aww and in Diane's case a bit of insecurity as compared to their rather simplistic powers this girl seemed to have powers on top of each other and her origin was rather fantastical which clearly made her someone to keep an eye on.

Drake himself was impressed with the pair of wings, as he could only produce one in his full hybrid state.

"Wow, a real wiccan. This is amazing!" Diane said with a smile as this girl was quite fascinating, maybe this could be a chance to make a friend on here.

Rowena smiled at the expressions the two seemed to have. Not many find out that witchcraft is real and tend to run when she proved it was. "Well not many would think that. I am a new student as well. I just exchanged here from Salem's school of Witchcraft. I heard there is a dance going on tonight, are you two planning to attend?"

She was glad to have met someone who was not frightened of her powers. She had a few of them, but they mostly came from her parents and who they were. Her father still guides other witches and helped her to learn how to control her wings to stay hidden which is something she did not learn about until she was eleven.

"Oh well yes, but as siblings really. We've been here a day and our earliest efforts to try and get to know people here are....going poorly, to be frank." Diane said with a sheepish grin as Drake rolled his eyes. To him their first day not making friends wasn't the end of the world but then again his sister tended to be dramatic with this sort of thing.

"But still I want to go and get the full experience." DIane admitted, date or not she wanted to have a bit of fun with it. Drake himself didn't care much for formal stuff but if it made his sister happy in this case he'd set aside snarky banter to support her on this.

"What about you? You going? Got a date?" Drake asked the wiccan.

Remus simply nodded before regaining back some of his strength and he walked with Saphrax to the dorms. Well, he allowed Saphrax to lead the way, as he had no idea what his dorm room was. Was he supposed to check that at the front of the school? Regardless, he felt like it would be better if he shared dorms with Saphrax. The vampire was so sweet and he had been craving the interaction of a friend and hanging out. He was really starting to crave deli meats and crackers for some reason, as well.

"Well, if you want to veg out, I am craving those little deli meats and cracker stacks. Do we have any in there?"

Marcel closely watched the two with Eli. He had a feeling that they were plotting something. "If you two don't mind telling us exactly where you transferred that would be nice." Marcel whispered underneath his breath as he still kept a close eye on them. 'I have a sickening feeling about those two. Lazarus?' Marcel told himself as a low demonic voice had responded with..."They seem off. I know all to well about it. But let us watch what happens instead of immediately jumping to action. After all, rulers must learn to beient. You're father was the exact same way."

"Well no I do not really have a date either. I just moved here as well. Though it would be nice to go with a group of friends." Rowena smiled at the two. She really was starting to like talking with two, and she knew that they would at least be great friends.

Salem felt the presence of four others who seemed to be walking towards them and faded back into being invisible. It looked like what the Cheshire cat had done in Alice in Wonderland. He did not like to be seen by too many people and did not want to be seen by those who seemed to be on the more gabby side.

Saphrax smiled, and walked with Remus. He led the way to his dorm. "Well I am sure we can find something the fridge seemed to be stocked by the school before new students gets assigned a room."

Saphrax opened the door for Remus to enter ahead of him. He was glad to show the werewolf a side that not many get to see. He is usually very cold to most people, but Remus seemed to awaken something in him that he had thought died a year ago with Zack.

Gasping and shaking, Allie got to her feet. Several others were in the arena now, and she gritted her teeth. It looked like there'd be no more training today.
Her eyes locked onto a pair of new students that she didn't recognize. Opting not to fly over - she wasn't sure if she had enough strength yet - she walked over, looking to greet the newbies. Her pointed ears were visible through her light-blue hair, and her ice-blue eyes shone brightly.
"Hello. You two must be new, I don't recognize you. Welcome to Comet Trail. My name's Allie, what's yours?" She extended her hand, smiling kindly - although her breathing was still slightly shallow.

"I'm sure that the right girl will come along at some point...?" Ani patted Eli's shoulder and took a quick scan of the other students that were around, noting a winged boy seemingly muttering and talking to himself. Ani looked at Ice Fairy and shook her hand gently. " I am Ani, and this King, we just arrived earlier today. Oh my, you look like you're about to kill over! Are you all right? You know we girls gotta always look our best." Ani playfully winked at Allie. "So how do these training arenas work? You just go in and beat the other into submission?"

King snickered in response. "That would be rich...."

Ani shot King a quick, half annoyed look to which he immediately calmed himself and folded his arms in a nonchalance way.

"Well it seem busy", he mumbled. He decided to walk to his dorm to change for something to use for training. He arrived at his dorm and changed. Once again he open a portal to the train ground and instantly arrived. He noticed there are many people including the two new students.

Diane was touched by this, and while the dance in general had not been the most appealing thing to Drake going with her as part of this little dance group was once way to spice up the evening. The two siblings glanced a look between each other as both had the same answer on mind before Diane spoke up.

"Sure, that would be lovely if you really do not mind." Diane said with a smile to Rowena as she accepted her offer on their behalf with a touch of eagerness. Maybe now she could finally make a friend on this campus.

Annoyed, Chris watched as some of the students started leaving the room.
Did class end?
He didn’t know that answer, but he’ll just have to roll with it. All that was left in the room were him, Jesie, Sepha, and a couple of other students. He decided to leave the room as well since he wanted to check on Allie so they can talk about her. Chris did hear a thud from under a desk, which immediately made him use Heal-Up on the person under it as he was walking by.

And, of course, Sepha had to follow behind from a distance, because she’s Sepha.

Jesie chuckled a little bit before getting out of his seat to leave the room, thinking to himself, I’ll just go to my dorm then. I remember I’m getting a new dorm mate.

Chris walked over to the training grounds, thinking that Allie would be there. And wouldn’t you know it, he was right.

But something felt odd...

There were two new students that he’s never seen talking to her. For some reason, those students felt suspicious to him, but it didn’t bother him that much. He waved over at the three students as he was talking towards them, “Hey! Howzit goin? I don’t think I’ve seen you two here before. Where y’all from?” Chris then saw that something was wrong with Allie. “You ok, lass? You don’t look to good to me. Did you do something with your powers?”

Sepha started to quickly hide behind some trees while they got closer and closer to the training grounds.

Ani tuned slightly to see another boy and a girl, who was trying to hide for some reason, approach them. The boy seemed friendly enough, though the way he spoke with his accent was making her want to cut his throat open, but she managed a friendly smile. “The name’s Ani and this is King, we’re new transfers from Umbra Foedus Academy since it closed. And who might you be?” Ani him offered her free hand with her palm facing down.

I doubt these uncultured idiots will even know what that gesture means…. King thought to himself seeing Ani’s offered hand.

If this RP takes place on Earth then Umbra Foedus Academy would be somewhere on the French countryside. if not on earth then it would be w/e is equivalent.

Bit of backstory yea?

Ani and King were at a French academy for some time prior to their introduction to the current RP (reason why sometimes Ani incorporates French into her speech though they do not have accents). That academy being the prestigious Umbra Foedus Academy. A school similar to Comet Trail ,but more developed and older. Umbra Foedus Academy was closed down recently due to a number of students turning up missing and occasionally dead. The causes or culprit responsible for these incidents were unknown and never caught, investigations are still underway.

Use this info. as you see fit, due to the school closing down, it is not uncommon for its students to be disbursed throughout the system and I would assume that schools for superpowered individuals are rare, having an influx of transfer students due to one school closing is not uncommon.

Was Nemesis Core and Black Eden involved/responsible for this? there's no evidence....

Chris shook Ani’s hand and flashed a smile at her, “Christian Nasken. Pleasure to meet ya. You said you were from Umbra Foedus Academy, huh? That means you can speak French, if I’m not mistaken. That’s pretty neat. Anyway, welcome.” Chris still felt like something was up with these two, so he was on high alert.

Sepha kept still behind a tree and listened to the conversation.

Allie laughed, her voice still a bit thin. "Eh, I'm fine. Just effin' around with my powers, per the usual. Went a bit far this time."
She chuckled at Chris's comment. "Est-ce comme ça que vous parlez français?" she said jokingly, her French slightly broken. Being a foreigner to Earth, she was only fluent in French and only knew bits and pieces of other languages.

Idiot... King thought to himself watching Chris's actions. He had always enjoyed the French language, being a speaker himself. He had always liked the way it sounded especially when Ani spoke it, it sounded so lyrical and jovial coming out of her.

Ani turned back to Allie, "Oui, petite fée de glace, c'est comme ça que tu parles français." Ani chirped in laughter.

Chris giggled for a bit at Allie speaking French before stopping. “Votre français est un peu de cassé. Mais c’est d’accord.” He replied with a thumbs up. He looked back at Ani, “C’est un plaisir rencontrez vous. If I messed that up, I apologize. Haven’t spoke french in a while. Also, what made you and your friend over there come to this school? Something good about it that ya like?”

Ani giggled, "Not bad, just a few conjugation errors and word usage but overall understandable."

"Humph...." King made a noise but said nothing, he resumed looking at the map.

"King is actually my cousin." Ani chuckled. "Well, Umbra Foedus Academy was kind of out on the countryside of France, so our visitations to civilization was basically limited to small villages, they were super nice, but overtime no matter how nice and beautiful a place is, you will grow... contempt with it. We came out here because, well, it's a new school, so it was easy to get into, especially on such short notice, and it's by a nice city that we can enjoy for a while. I gotta say, the overall atmosphere of this place is much more relaxed and less... snooty than Umbra Foedus."

Zant looked at Celia as she hugged him. He hugged her back and looked at her with his white irises. "If you want....we can...you know...date?" Zant asked her with blush on his face as he looked away for a hesitant moment. He was happy to know what he thought would happen is actually happening.

Porco noticed Phoenix. "Yeah. Of course! Let's get to it." Porco told Phoenix as he went into his dorm and his lab getting everything ready that needed to be modified.

"Well the more important question out of anything going on..." Marcel had begun before hopping down to the small group with the new students. "Is which is more powerful? The storm or the calm that opens it." Marcel had asked as he looked, slowly panned to the newcomers 'I am the true Miracle!' Marcel told himself as he made sure there was nothing suspicious about them.

Ani giggled in amusement at Leo's warm-up routine, a smile forming that slight W again. 'So the kid just barely learned how to control his powers? That's very cute, shouldn't he have done that before he came to school other kids?'

"Punching at nothing is hardly an opponent. Why don't you play with me for a bit luv?" Ani balanced on her heels before standing straight up again.

Ani stepped onto the opposite of the arena facing Leo still with her w shaped smile.

King shot her a cautionary glance, she saw it and proceeded to ignore it. He sighed and put the map down to watch.

Ani held her parasol so it was angled slightly higher over her head, casting a shadow over half of her face. Her sapphire blue eyes faintly glowing in the shadow still smiling. “Don’t go easy on me now just because of the way I look!” She stood upright with her heels together facing the boy.

“Hmmmm... you’re going to have to quicker than that sweetie!” Ani smiles at Leo. She was standing next to him. His attack merely swiped at the empty air. There was no physical indication that she had moved, but she did. At one moment she was standing in front of Leo about to get hit by his attack, then the next she was still practically in the same pose as before but she had moved next to him. “Though if you wanted to look up my dress that badly all you have to do is look up now.”
