Mark smiled back when Crystal chose him to be on her team. He jumped off the couch, grabbed the controller, stood in front of the switch, and got ready. So much was going on. Syn hitting the ball first without anyone noticing, Crystal shouting to Mark for him to be ready, and a powerful hit from Crystal. When Roman hit the ball back a hard as Crystal to another side, Mark yelled, "I got it!" Mark barely missed the ball when he hit it back to the opposing team. "Yes!" Makr yelled after he hit the ball back.

Syn saw the ball from Mark headed for the ground and he tried to get it, but he wasn’t close enough. He was thinking, ‘If only I could stretch out my arm in a video game...’. But instead he said to the others, “We should try to do tennis in real life sometime. I saw courts over near the pool.”
"Gotcha covered!" Roman said as he went for the ball that Syn missed. Once there, he managed to hit it toward Crystal's direction again. "Sounds like a plan." Roman said to Syn. He looked at his power meter and knew he was close to having enough power for a special shot, this knowledge made him smirk.
Jesse watched the four do the game, his eyes staying connected to the ball. Crystal had come up to him, and he had automatically started petting tennis. Then he had a thought. He shouted over the noise of the ball. 'Who's going to pass on playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? There's five people, four players.'. Jesse had a weird thing where he would most often say the full name of the game or other things. Continuing to pet Crystal's pet, he picked her up gently and gave her a small hug. 'She's so fluffy, Crystal! I mean, Sapphire. Sapphire's fluffy.'.
Crystal watched as the boys kept hitting the ball, nobody had missed a shot yet, but someone would have to sometime. As Syn missed the ball, she almost started jumping up, thinking it was a point to her and Mark, but Roman got it anyway. As the ball came towards her character on screen, she tried to run over to get it, but to no success, it was too fast. “Mark! Try to get it!” She called out, hoping her teammate could do something more than her. “Real tennis? Sounds cool, I used to do it in normal school sometimes, I could never really control where the ball went..” She did a quick thumbs up to Syn, then quickly managed to flash a look over at Jesse and Sapphire as he said how she was so fluffy, “Yep! That’s a Maine coon for you.” Crystal giggled, then went back to the game. Sapphire was purring softly, happy to have some attention towards her. She let Jesse hug her, then went to the side of him to say hello to Ashes.

Delphi dried off before coming to Roman's dorm to play video games, stopping at her dorm to grab Splatoon! 2, and then continuing. She made sure her servals where following her, and knocked on his door. "Sorry im late!" She said, walking in.
Crystal cheered as her team won by a point, spinning Mark in celebration. “Yay! Nice job guys, that was TOUGH, Syn, you put up a good fight.” She nodded as Syn passed his controller to Jesse, then looked at the door after a knock. It opened, and a smile appeared on her face as Delphi appeared outside. “Hey! I was wondering where you were, it’s nice to have you here.” She went to stroke her servals and sat on the bed to play Mario Kart. It was a little late, not surprisingly, but they would probably be playing for a long while yet. Crystal started up the game, getting it onto a decently paced race for them. Sapphire curled up on the floor after seeing Ashes, watching from under the bed. She pressed to start on the game, and started off with a boost, trying to stay on the track and get the power up box thingies.
Roman's hand shook lightly in anger and a crack can faintly be heard from the controller he held, his eyes glowed bright red which indicated he was extremely unhappy about losing such a close game by one point - ONE POINT! To him, a close game where he lost was a waste of time and effort toward a pointless cause, were the victors not his friends, he would have hit them hard. "Shut up..." Roman said silently and bluntly in response to Crystal's 'good game' gesture which he found debatable. Long story short, he DESPISED losing.

He only got a banana peel from it, but h was smart, instead of placing it down, he kept it behind him, ready to shield himself from a shell or to place it down at anyone foolish enough to drive right behind him, his place was second much to his annoyance, but he decided to stay there to avoid anyone lucky enough to get a blue shell until the last lap approached.

After seeing Roman's expression, Jesse shoved his controller into Delphi's hands as she came in, and left after saying 'Thanks... but I'm kinda tired. Delphi, you can use it. You just got here.'. When he had reached his dorm, which he wasn't going to, Ashes appeared out. 'Oh... I forgot about you.'. He gave Ashes a pet on the back.
He used his shadow form and sank through the walls, and landed on the roof. There was a beautiful view in the ocean, so he flew over, into the edge of the floating island's edge and became human. This view was the glow of a swarm of luminous jellyfish. It was beautiful with the night sky, the water was a light cyan. He didn't care if he got into trouble or not, he wasn't tired, and he'd be pulled back into the room. Roman was soon to flip and he was not being a target.

Mark smiled when Crystal was spinning him around. He was so happy to win. Mark overheard the word 'shut' come from Roman's mouth, so he got a little angry. When Delphi came in, Mark was more happy than before. He was glad she finally came. It was time to play Mario Kart. And Mark was hoping to win this too.

Roman could see Crystal ahead of him and flashed an ominous glare... he was NOT going to suffer a second defeat in a row. He managed to get his hands on another box which gave him a red shell, he made sure to line himself up behind Crystal, his hands shook with the chance to win and in his head he demanded not to lose another close game. "Come on... first place is mine..." Roman said in an almost hoarse tone. He shot his red shell at Crystal and slowly began to smile at his victory and/or 'redemption' as he saw the finish line up ahead, he wasted no time trying to cross it before anyone else did.

“Dang it, Roman!” Crystal screeched, as the boy hit her with a red shell, placing her in second, far behind. Besides that, she kept going, watching Roman go over the finish line in first, she just had it in sight, so she kept trying to boost to get to it second. She took a mushroom, and zoomed over, throwing her arms in the air. “Come on Mark and Delphi!” She looked over at Roman, who’d been acting competitive, and.. angrier, than usual. “Hey, sorry if I was kind of annoying, I just got excited about winning and all before..”
Crystal waited for everybody else to finish, then looked at Delphi’s Splatoon 2, “Should we play that now?” She said, pointing down to it. “If Delphi doesn’t mind, of course.”

Jesse was too curious on what was going on inside the dorm, so he went into Shadow Form again, and flew to the dorm, but he only peeked through the door, realising it was just fine. Now, he actually did feel tired, so he flew over to his dorm, switched back to human, and jumped onto his bed, after getting changed into pyjamas. Then he noticed something. The weird game console in his dorm had been replaced with a real Switch, with a note next to it. How lucky, he thought to himself. I guess my parents can guess me kinda well.
He grabbed the Switch's note. It read:

I could tell you wouldn't like the console we sent you, you have friends with different ones... (I still like it, it's at home with me right now), so.. the best mum in the world (that's me) got you the newest! Hope you like it, the best son in the world!

"Sure" Delphi loaded up the game, selecting her account 'DeadlyNadder5555', then her female Inkling (She nicknamed her Elliot), because she was her favorite and had unlocked the roller gun on her. She hoped for team aqua."Everyone else, pick a nickname for yourself. I have 7 other users with no name, you can use those, just name them whatever you want." Delphi entered a game, with one other player. 'Ashexx' Delphi waited for everyone else.

Jesse noticed the name 'DeadlyNadder5555' and gulped. He'd heard that name from somewhere. It was familiar to him. Imagining it was someone from the room he'd left, soon he pushed the thought out of his head and went on to think about what colour would the teams be... he was hoping his team was orange, he usually won when he was on a team of that colour. Then the thought appeared in his head about someone such as Crystal knocking on his dorm door after noticing the username... if they joined.
Crystal took a controller and made a character for the game, she chose pink, and got a good weapon to start with, also making her name 'Rocky_xox'. She waited as Delphi joined a game with all of them, looking curiously at one name in particular that belonged to nobody in the room, 'ashexx'. "Is that.." She shook off the thought, waiting for everyone to make their characters so they could all start.
"One second, I'll be right back, I just want to check something." Crystal's curiosity had got the best of her, and she turned into a mouse, squeezed under Roman's door to get out and headed over to Jesse's room. She secretly squeezed under his door, peeking inside to see a Switch and Splatoon 2 on it. It must of been him who was playing with them all, and she sneaked in a mousy smirk and then went back to Roman's dorm again. Crystal turned back to a human inside and sat down again with her controller. "I know who that other player is! It's Jesse, he's playing in his dorm, I may of done some quick spying.. nothing bad!" She bit her lip, changing her mind about the situation, "No, I'll go tell him after the round, or this is just sort of.. wrong." She thought that was a better idea, then there would be no secrecy. "Unless your name is Syn." She whispered, snickering at her joke. A bit of the idea had come from him, but she didn't let that on to anybody. Maybe Jesse would even know her from the username she had chosen, but anyway, they'd all see.

Roman set his controller aside and sat down on the couch. "I'm not really a Splatoon guy, you guys go on ahead." He said as he put his hands behind his head. Athena walked over and lightly nuzzled Roman who responded by tickling under her chin. "Perhaps after all this has happened, you and me can have a little fly around. "Roman said to Athena who responded with a quiet yet excited coo. The two looked back to watch the Splatoon game transpire.
"Yes!" Mark yelled when he made it into 3rd. He may not have gotten first, but at least he got top 3. "Good job guys!" Mark said as everyone finished. Mark saw Delphi in Splatoon 2, so he decided to join. Mark's username was T3NT4CL3S (tentacles). Mark hopped onto the game and Mark chose aqua because it was a version of his favorite color.

Syn has once again decided to sit out of the game of splatoon, and he looked around the room instead. There were several different expensive looking games, including ones that he didn’t even think had come out yet. Syn had one game that hadn’t come out yet, which was his copy of Let’s Go Eevee, but that was only because he had stolen it from a Japanese playtester at Nintendo headquarters. He had the feeling that Roman had bought all of these legitimately, and he couldn’t help but wonder what kind of job Roman’s parents had. Anyway, he said to Roman, “You have some pretty cool games. How did you get them all?”
He was hoping that Roman would reveal a particular game of more value than the others that Syn could steal. It was a risky move, but he expected it would pay off.

Roman turned his eyes to Syn whilst he continued to stroke his beloved griffin. "Are you familiar with the top ten richest families?" Roman asked. "My family: The Mercers are actually number two on that list. So how I got all those games is actually thanks to my family's wealth. We Mercers aren't to be underestimated either, because despite everything of value there is in this room... it's actually well protected so nobody can steal so much as a coin. I think it's paranoia but... my family's lasted this long..." Roman said as talking of his family slowly made the tone of his voice sound more and more vexed.
Syn listened carefully to Roman.He had heard of the top ten richest families, and from all this stuff, he could believe that the Mercer’s were one of them. However, he personally believed that there was nothing he couldn’t steal. So he continued listening for a tip on how to overcome their security or a statement about what was the most valuable in the room.
Jesse felt very uneasy. He saw 'Rocky_xox' which he couldn't realise... but if there was a possibility of Delphi being in the game, T3NT4CL3S could be Mark. If he was to quit now though, he'd leave a team into a 3v4 and have a chance to be temporarily banned from online activity on the game. That was something he wanted quite the opposite. The game was beginning, and it was orange vs aqua, on the map Inkblot Art Academy. It had to be the map closest to Wolfborn, didn't it, he thought to himself.
Without bothering to look at his teammates, he grabbed his Orange-team Dualie Squelchers and headed off. These dualies were great for mobility, as he could roll AND also track anyone who hit his Point Sensor thing he could throw. Not to mention use the Tenta Missiles, which landed bullets on everyone within his vision.
(His inkling has the regular ponytail, no headgear, a black hoodie, long pants and leather boots)

(You know it's only one weapon per match, right? Look at one, and its special and sub-weapon. Another thing, Splat-Bombs are the ones that blow up, after a short time.)
Rocky_xox had ambushed Jesse trying to cover a big part of turf, but the moment before he was splatted, he used his special, just at the time the person, whom he suspected as Delphi, was about to roll straight over him, ready to hit both. Wielding the Tenta Missiles, he'd caught the two in his range, and large spots appeared nearby the two. They rocketed down, whether they were splatted or not, he did not know, as he had been splatted by the side-hair Inkling. If there was possibly Delphi in the game, and Crystal (who he thought might be Rocky_xox), where was Roman, Syn or Mark? Then he remembered the T3NT4CL3S person, who after he respawned, he wanted to splat.

Delphi respawned at the start, rather annoyed that he had got that kill. Netherless, she wandered around the map, looking for players she could take out while rolling all nearby turf, turning it her team's color. She wandered around aimlessly, before finding a safe corner she could hide in, and turned around. "Hey Syn, you know I said earlier about to meet me in the bazzarcade after school? After this game, meet me there"
“Ok,” Syn Replied. He was a little distracted by the vast amount of games in Roman’s room. He didn’t want to leave them all. He decided he would steal King of Fighters 2000, one of the rarest and most valuable games, and he quickly grabbed it and pocketed it, hoping no one would see. He had forgotten about the security system, but when he put it in his pocket, it seemed like nothing had gone off.
Crystal also respawned at the start with Delphi, then got back to work again. She helped Delphi roll all the turf, and then went to get a few more kills in. After a few more seconds, the round ended, and Syn and Delphi already had plans, "You guys can go, we'll just do whatever." Crystal turned the game off, and got up, turning to Roman. "So, what now? Sapphire was wide awake, being a nocturnal cat, this was her most active time, and she started running around Roman's room, sniffing all the interesting things. She saw Syn holding a game, and meowed at him, but nobody noticed still, so the boy had probably gotten away with it. She walked back over to Crystal, now meowing at her. Crystal leaned down and stroked the cat, looking over to the door and wondering if Jesse would still be doing Splatoon or not now. If Roman couldn't hang out some more, she could go and see Jesse, but that was if he wasn't sleeping or busy yet.
Syn, rather in a hurry in case someone noticed the game was missing, Said, “Yeah, I’m going. See you at the Bazaarcade, Delphi!”
With that, he ran off out of the room and back to his, where he deposited the game in his practice safe. It was really a normal safe, it’s just that he uses it to practice breaking into safes. After he had done that, he went to the Bazaarcade.

Delphi put the controller down and headed to the Bazzarcade. "Well, see you all later!" Said Delphi, making her way to the Bazzarcade. As she entered, she saw Syn waiting for her. "Hey Syn." She said to him "You know on the first day how I had all the tokens in the arcade? I can show you how to get your own, if they have refilled it" She said.
Meanwhile, Charlie was waiting (In the form of his escape animal, a rabbit) he crept from behind a game, spying on his next victim. Delphi. He had been meaning to ruin her friendships with everyone from when he saw her on the first day, sniggering silently, he thought of a plan.

He wondered how she knew how to do this, but accepted it, because he really liked stealing things. So, he went over to the machine and waited for Delphi to show him how. He thought he heard something laughing, but he didn’t see anything anywhere.

Roman turned to Crystal whilst Athena had a look around the room to see if everything was in place. "I was gonna wait until everyone was gone so me and Athena could have a little fly around and above the school, we haven't done it in a while so it'd be good for us to get out into the open skies once more." He explained. "Although if there are any other ideas on what to do before we call it a day, I'd love to hear them." Roman said with a smile whilst Athena went over to nuzzle Roman once more.
"I'll let you have your fly around, me and Sapphire are going to the fountain so she can get some exercise. I'm just going to bed after that, I can't wait, my pillows are so plump and fluffy, and my bed is amazing!" Crystal told Roman, and with that, she exited his dorm, and curiously looking at Jesse's, maybe she could go say hi, or maybe she should leave him to sleep.. Anyway, she gave a light knock, "Hey, Jesse? I'm going down to that fountain area to let Sapphire run around, you can come if you want, she'd probably like to play with Ashes if he isn't too tired already. See you there, if you come!" She left the hallway, going out of the door to the fresh air, wide open space and gushing fountain. Sapphire ran out, immediately getting to having a little run around and looking for any mice or moths that she could catch. During the day, she was just relaxed, being a little stick up, but during the night, she loved to have a little hunt to get out her extra energy. Crystal sat down on the fountain side, going on her phone and texting her parents that she was doing okay with her lessons. She had a small surprise when her mother texted her back, it read:

It looked strange, with some mist coming out of it, so she took it away from Sapphire in a tissue and threw it away. She could've sworn she had heard an 'Ouch!' sound as she was walking away, but she just ignored it for now. (That'll be my bhix.) It brought him up to the girl, but she just threw him into the bin, which he didn't like. The fall made him lose control and turn back, luckily he was crouched down inside the bin, so she couldn't see him, but he had let out an 'Ouch!', it hurt.

Roman smiled and nodded at Crystal before giving her a light wave as he and Athena headed outside and made sure to lock their dorm door behind them, Roman even brought what appeared to be a comfortable looking saddle. Once outside, he put the saddle on Athena and once he was done, they looked at the evening sky with a smile "Ready Athena?" Roman asked, Athena responded by crouching so Roman could get on her back, once he climbed on, he quickly checked his phone and noticed Crystal's text with a smile. "One sec Athena." He said as he began to text a reply.
Camping? That sounds exciting, another thing I haven't done thanks to my family... anyways, I'd love to join and get to see the wild a bit more, I'll bet even Athena would love the idea. Can't wait for it, be sure to bring smores!

After texting his reply, Roman put his phone back into one of his coat pockets and closed it for what was about to happen next. "Ready!" Roman said confidently as he began to hold on to the front of the saddle. Athena began to take a running start and spread her elegant wings wide and began to flap them. This made Athena slowly rise from the ground until both she and Roman were flying high in the sky, eventually she flew above the clouds with Roman still on her back, undeterred by the wind resistance or altitude. Athena eventually stopped mid flight as she and Roman looked back at the school from a bird's eye view.
"It feels so good to be free, doesn't it Athena?" Roman asked as he leaned forward to hug Athena who replied with a cheerful hoot. But as they enjoyed their time in the air, Roman heard his phone ring. "Steady Athena, phone call." Roman requested, Athena nodded and began to remain as still as possible, the only movement she made was the slight up and down motion from flapping her wings. Roman got out his phone and was annoyed to find out who was calling him: His father, he didn't want to answer, but he knew one missed call and he would never hear the end of it, and so he reluctantly answered.
"Hello father..." Roman said, trying not to sound too annoyed. "Hello Roman, I do trust that your time in Wolfborn has proved useful to us?" His father asked in a posh sounding voice. "Yes father; During my time here, I have improved on the use of my powers, although I can tell I have more to learn." He said in a slightly more formal manner. "Good, as long as you improve your abilities at a noticeable rate and once you're strong enough, we Mercers will earn out rightful place as the richest family in the world! And have you to eliminate any and all competition." He said confidently. Roman was disgusted by this plan, but he played along to make sure he wasn't bombarded with complaints. "I'll... do my best father. Tell me, how are my siblings?" Roman asked. "Your siblings are fine, that is all you need to know, I'm calling you on an update about you and your abilities as a fighter, not for social interactions. Now if you will excuse me, I have an important business meeting to go to, I will call you later on at the end of this month or the beginning of the next for another update, until next time, Roman." His father said before he hung up, Roman looked at his phone with an annoyed face, even more annoyed than any other time he was at school, it was clear he didn't like his father. "Idiot..." Roman muttered angrily as he put his phone away.

Roman said as he stroked her. "Now let's do a lap around the school!" He said with more confidence, Athena cooed excitedly and began to fly forward, faster and faster around the school.

Delphi nodded. "I just need to check if they have filled the machine. Then if they have gotten rid of the error" She turned into a cockroach and crawled up the tunnel that the tokens would be disposed from. She checked in the storage then crawled back out, then turned back into herself. "Good news! Its full" She said. "This would be a good time to practice turning your hand into a lock pick or something." She pointed to where all the money would be stored. Delphi put a Five dollar bill into the machine, and again it displayed error. She gave the machine a slight kick, and once again it emptied itself of all it's tokens. She clicked the eject button to get her Five dollars back. "Ta da!" She said "Syn, if you can break into where the real money is stored in this thing by making your hand into a lock pick, you can have $25 more than our shares" Delphi's phone gave a buzz so she checked it and saw Crystal's text. She replied:
"Sure, fine by me, but me and Syn are robbing a money machine so we should have enough ;') XD"

Jesse was asleep, and the Switch had auto-powered off. Crystal's voice awoke him, and he quickly pretended to be asleep. He said he was tired, it'd be a easy-to-tell lie if he came out. After not long, he fell asleep again.
Amy, walking around as usual, found Leo in a trashcan. She pulled him out, with ease, and put him on the floor. 'How did you end up in there? I might be able to pull them into trouble if you know their name.'. She looked around, to see there weren't many students. She thought too, that she should go to her room. Her room was starting to become more of a requirement to go to, as it got later, to set an example, but who said she was going to go to sleep?

Crystal smiled as she read her texts, happy to see most of her friends would be able to come, except Jesse hadn't replied at all yet, so she just guessed he was asleep already. She quickly thanked her parents for the money, and then looked over to Sapphire, who was poking around on the edge of the fountain and looking at the water flowing. She tried to get over to it to drink it, but instead, fell inside. She jumped around, quietly hissing, and Crystal grabbed her, taking her out again. Crystal decided it would probably be better to just go inside now, Sapphire would probably like it better that way anyway, so she started the walk back to her dorm. "Come on Sapphire, let's go dry you off, then we should get to bed for tomorrow, we'll need our sleep for the week ahead." (Then Amy came, after she'd walked away)
When Crystal reached her dorm, she opened the door and went to the bathroom, grabbing a big towel. She wrapped it around the wet cat, rubbing her to dry her off, which didn't amuse her, and she just had a pure face of annoyance now. "Cheer up Sapphire!" Crystal laughed, then used a hair dryer on her, keeping it on a low setting to keep it quiet for everybody else sleeping. Eventually, Sapphire was dry again, but very.. poofy. The cat ran back to her bed, facing the wall and going to sleep, she still wasn't happy about getting wet. "You need to stop overreacting, it's just a little bit of water, you know, some cats actually LIKE getting wet." She laughed again, changing into her cat pyjamas and sliding into bed. She drifted off to sleep. (You can all still do stuff and not sleep, just do whatever and then sleep for the night)

He looked down to the floor, with his hair covering one eye. "I'll just go to that arcade, I saw some people walking over there, and I'm sure I saw Charlie running into it as well." He shook his head to her second question, "It was a girl with blonde hair, about down to the waist, sort of curvy, with a fluffy white cat, thanks.." Leo waved goodbye to her, and ran off as a mouse to the bazaarcade. He found Charlie hiding behind a machine as his rabbit and sat next to him, also hiding. He gave a quiet squeak, showing his mist so that Charlie would know it's him, and not just any old mouse. Leo looked on to the two at the token machine, curious at what they were doing with it.
