anything i should know before starting/best way to enter the plot without doing my patented "Bullshit it until it works" technique?
Edit: i'm considering using my bullshitting technique to get into rping more but it tends to be a bit disruptive
1. You’d have to cycle your starting hand first with what you have in your deck before a match via generator.
2. You are allowed to summon in face up defense position as well as draw on the first turn.
3. No synchros or onwards.
and that’s about it
I wasn't aware the first part was a rule. Is that really mandatory or moreso to make sure that people don't combo into summoning four big monsters on their first turn?
The biggest issue I can see with having to cycle it through the card generator is just consistency- imagine ending up with a hand that has no plays whatsoever. Most anticlimactic duel to ever grace the RP.
I was personally planning on just acting out every duel fairly civilly, giving my hands plays but never their best plays right off the bat. But if it's a rule I'll accomodate for it, though I'll likely revise my decklist since most of it is inconsistent one-ofs.
I've revised Kenny's decklist to better accomodate for that rule (to make sure I wouldn't just end up with four unsummonable monsters and two spells first hand). I've also edited Kenny's bio to reflect this, as his ace monster shifted from Gaia the Dragon Champion to Sky Galloping Gaia the Dragon Champion because of this.
Also, I've seen @<Inkscape> post ten cards from their character's decklist, is it still mandatory to do so?
I can still work with the gamble part, no need to edit@DarkHydraT Oops, just realized that Bob already told Tracy about why he uses machines
I don't really know how he should respond
Maybe a timeskip to later if everyone's good? Unless @DarkHydraT and @Fructus want the little gang to hang out some more?

Goule could have just as easily held up a sign in neon letters that said "Hello! I'm a creep! You best get away from me as quickly as you can, or else!".
"Okay, okay, okay, back up here, buddy." Kenny took a few steps back, narrowing his eyes to slits. He didn't even use his real name, ever. Well, apart from when he registered at the academy. His birth name was required then. But excepting maybe some staff members, nobody should have even been able to know that Kenny was just an abbreviation of Kenneth, least of all this guy. The amount of danger signs coming from Goule were actually unreal. And that meant something, coming from a guy who fearlessly jumped into a dangerous duel yesterday against a mysterious opponent just to protect two people he wouldn't even recognize afterwards.
But more than fearful, he felt...annoyed? Outraged was maybe a better word. His real name was a pretty well-kept secret, and Goule had no right to go around snooping about his secrets, least of all without Kenny's consent. "I don't know how or why you know," he hissed, ignoring the Zombie Master wannabe's blabbering about the occult, the unknown and all that other jazz, "But my name's Kenny. Got that?"
And Dick and Richard, somehow.just so you know, it’s commonly known Kenny is short for Kenneth XD. Like Chris and Christopher
I forgot about that lol. Somehow they areAnd Dick and Richard, somehow.
I think most characters share Kenny's sentiment, and they're gonna pay when Goule unleashes some kind of zombie plagueI...actually knew that but like. If a person has only ever been called by their abbreviation (at least near you), I thought it would be kinda weird to use their full name if you don't even know it's their full name? Especially if the abbreviation is a name that could exist by itself. If someone says their name is Chris, I'd assume your first instinct wouldn't/shouldn't be to call them Christopher.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to have Kenny blow up at someone for using his real name somewhere down the line though, so might as well. Also it's Goule, this dude does otherworldly stuff for a living so it wouldn't be entirely unreasonable for Kenny to kind of freak out when Goule said something he shouldn't be able to know in Kenny's eyes I'd think.
Sorry Goule. I think you're a neat character but Kenny does not care for you at all.
