Technically, there have been a few incidents around campus that have felt unnatural. Bob thinking his main monster was acting in it’s own, Raven feeling an odd Connection, even reaching out to Goule to try and figure out what it meant, and a few oddities like that. So it wouldn’t be off putting for Bella to encounter such a thing herself either

There were a couple chuckles given out as Bix decided not to attack her physically...but with words? It was unorthodox but it seemed to be his angle.

Wouldn't it be better if Bix said an ugly monster was better on the eyes than Dahlia, rather a hot monster was better on the eyes than Dahlia?

Which is actually a pretty good question.

Crowler replaced the principle at the tail end of the invasion, because the principle was a coward and let his students be attacked while hiding under his desk the whole time. Mainly being the opportunist he is lol.

As for Canon characters, it’s a pretty big unknown outside Ms.Dorothy and Crowler. Open to ideas though if you have ‘em.

Well if we do tie this into the canon, comes with positives and downsides. Positives being cameos by veteran duelists (Can't say Kaiba showing up to what is his school wouldn't be cool) but would make problems if we make an OC who uses the same archetype as a canon characters. Like your invader commander who has a Blue-Eyes archetype.

Sort of the Jaden/Aster "Heroes are my thing!" plot from the GX show lol

I do think we need Pegasus being the inventor of the game. Plus he is just a delight.

That invader wasn’t mine lol. That was an idea of the previous host’s that I protested about.

But I think the OG characters from the classic yugioh can be canon. But it’s when it gets to GX ones is where it gets questionable

Well I mean you do have members of the Duel Academy staff from GX canon so XD.

Though on the topic of the RP, there is the matter of Bella's debut duel. Since she is a transfer Obelisk Blue I feel I need to make a solid first impression with her, though I am worried about "forcing" a lost on someone to appease this wish as it were lol

Nah, don’t do a forced duel.

Hmmm...could always fight someone that’s notable. And knowing that deck I think it will cream the weak ones lol (Like Bix and Braxer). All about taking risks, but seeing as how your deck so far has an amazing impression on dueling book, doing more that most of decks here win rate wise to my decks, I don’t think you’ll have much a problem.

I meant forced as in like a story required. Cause if we do leave all the RP duels to pure "where the cards fall" scenarios some characters could get on losing streaks which would hurt their narrative credibility when ideally we want everyone to get their shine at varied points.

Also @Captain Cardboard you forgot Lance who is leading Bella, kinda need the guide to the stadium for this duel XD

I mean, you can do that if you like so long as the other duelist agrees. You just...don’t like it though since it feels like a cheap win.

Sure but I am just saying in moments a character has to win is all. Generally we duel to see how it goes but I am just talking those specific scenarios if one character is having a bad RNG run or something or loses too often to the user's liking.

Those circumstances may spring up where you can kind of force win but I really don’t like them. Makes it seem like it’s really no skill on your end in order to win.

like I tried to do a scripted lose, but my opponent literally played no monsters and decided to die lol.

Just a suggestion is all. Sometimes on rare occasions a scripted loss or win could help the overall story. But it is heavily context-based and not how it would be done on most duels obviously.
