No it is. Try playing Weevil pure Duelist Kingdom deck and see how you do. Only cards he used no other support to make it smoother or give you those FT summon options. Actually have to sit there and protect the Cocoon for six turns XD

Least Pegasus is a good character XD. Leon was some filler twat whose cards made even less sense than the literal cartoon deck. And to be fair the anime does ground Toons more when Pegasus appears after the first arc.

Isn't Cocoon able to be popped by MST once it is equipped? That is not exactly a hard thing to get rid off then

Not to mention you need the right card in your hand at the right time. If you don't draw Ultimate Moth by turn 6 after you activate the cocoon you are screwed.

And it at best gives you a big 3500 beater with no effect, which at that point a trap hole could remove making your effort wasted lol. If you want a big vanilla beater Blue Eyes was least easier to summon lol

Insect Queen and Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth share a common weakness- they can both easily be cheated out, but why would you waste your resources on cheating them out rather than literally any other Insect boss monster? PUGM is just a big bricky beater and Insect Queen's effect is actively a detriment. Metamorphosed Insect Queen, on the other hand.

Fun fact- I don't know how familiar you all are with speed dueling but up until the previous set Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth was genuinely top of the meta due to the limited selection of cards.

I also actively chose to run a gamble deck in this RP, so I'd compare myself to Joey or Tristan instead of Yugi. I've yet to use the deck, but I can already tell that my luck will be awful. Wrong. It's Tea. Never lost a duel in the show, never lost a game in the show if you include her dance off with Johnny Steps.

On top of that Blue-Eyes already had two archetype-specific skills that are both really good, while pretty much every other archetype-specific skill is competitively useless (Onomats, Cyber Dragon and Fortune Ladies being like the only exceptions).

Almost as if the game is REALLY owned by Kaiba.

To be fair, Blue-Eyes is a giant fuck you dragon. What's not to love about it? I get that the favoritism can get annoying, but you gotta admit that it is a cool monster. Now I wish I went for a dragon deck instead, but Machines are more unique and have some nifty stuff too

Rainbow Dragon is freaking fabulous! Crystal Beasts also work well with Hamon.
