Private/Closed Battle-Tech University. Trainer School RP

the hallways weren’t nearly as pack now that free period was coming to a close and Alan was struggling to remain out of sight from the student.
‘It’s too crowded for me to corner him here’ he thought to himself as the Boy he was following made a sharp turn into a vacant classroom. Alan stopped just before the door and leaned casually against the wall while listening intently to the conversation inside. There seemed to be three other voices coming from the classroom and though he was able to catch bits and pieces of the conversation it wasn’t anything substantial.
‘I’ll have to cut my losses here’ he sighed deeply pulling out a small camera from the side pocket on his backpack. He used the device to snatch a picture of the students in the room. The talking was stopped abruptly as Alan had forgot to turn off both the shutter noise and the flash.
“Shit!” He cursed under his breath before sprinting back down the hallway almost knocking several students down as he beat his hasty retreat.

He Met Henry’s eyes as he ran past him into the elevator behind him closing the doors and headding to the first floor. On the ride down he removed his red hoddie and placed it in his bag hoping the change of appearance would help him lose his pursuers.

The four boys had rushed out of the classroom shortly after Alan had met eyes with Henry. Unable to prevent him from closing the elevator doors they cornered the younger student against the wall by the elevator door.

“Do you know that Kid in the red shirt?” The student that Alan had followed out of the cafeteria demanded of Henry shoving him hard into the wall.

Each of the students had a black and orange crest on the shoulder of their jackets and all appeared to be in Years two and three

"Only in name, nothing else," Henry replied groaning out of pain. He wasn't used to pressure but he was sure wasn't going to panic. Fletchling had been following Henry from the air, now perched on a nearby shelf, Henry looked at Fletchling signaling it to get ready in case things got ugly.

After a few minutes, Gabriel was starting to get bored of waiting for the boys, she got up and prepared to leave for next class. She stroked the Skitty once more, and walked out of the cafeteria, heading towards the elevators.

“And that name is?” One of the other boys chimed in as Henry was shoved into the wall again.
By this time Alan was Long gone. Checking the image on the camera he could only see 2 of the 4 boys faces. He slid the camera back into his bag as he reached the front doors of the boys dormatory and went inside. Making his way to the PC room on the second floor he began attempting to open an administrative account so that he could view the student Database.

“Whatever Kid, get lost” The boy holding you to the wall says as he lets you go and shoves you down “if you see him again, tell him not to mess with us if he knows what’s good for him”

"Argh... well they sure seem like nice people," Henry groaned as he got up, Fletchling landed on his shoulder and looked at it's trainer concerned, "Don't worry I'll be fine," Henry reassured his pokémon, What was that all about though?, he thought.

He started walking towards the elevator as he fixed his clothing, this was not something he wanted to be noticed or talked about, thinking how to answer possible questions from other students.

Gabriel walked past four boys, coming from the direction of the elevator. She didn't pay much attention to them, as she was heading to the nurses office to get Absol's Pokeball charged up, but she saw one of them give her a mean look, so she just walked straight past them, making a point of ignoring them.

When she arrived at the nurses office, she went to the front desk and passed her the Pokeball. "Five minutes and it'll be ready for you hun." The nurse smiled. Gabriel nodded and thanked her. "I'm guessing the first battle didn't go too well then?" the nurse asked. Gabriel shook her head, as the memories came flooding back. "We had a Squirtle in here earlier, got hurt pretty badly in his fight, had his owner scared to death." She looked up at the nurse as she spoke. " Poor thing, this was his first battle with his new trainer. He shouldn't have pushed himself so hard having been so hurt beforehand." Gabriel remembered the bandages she had seen on the Squirtle at the battle. If only she had known that he was hurt, she wouldn't have used so much power. "Is...is he gonna be ok?" She asked. "We aren't sure yet, but he's a fighter, so he will find a way to get through this." Gabriel nodded, promising herself she wouldn't cry again. The nurse passed her back her Pokeball, and she took it gratefully. "Thanks." The nurse smiled at her and nodded. Gabriel turned to leave, but at the last second stopped. "Oh, and tell the Squirtle and his trainer that I'm sorry about everything." She walked down the corridor, heading for her next class without waiting for a reply.

The bell rang through the whole school Alexis got her schedule out, seeing it was free period, she decided to get something to eat, even though she didn't get to battle she did learned a few things while watching "Maybe next time we'll get to battle" Alexis said as she looked at her three Pokemon. Alexis is very cautious of eating food, having a balanced diet always keep her in shape. She went into the cafeteria to see if anything good was available. The food selection was really big more than 50 types of meals to order "Wow, that's a lot of meals to choose" Alexis thought. Although there were a lot of good food like Grilled Steaks and Smoked Salmons. Alexis had something simple, a salad and a glass of berry juice. She also got three bowls of Pokemon food for Lily, Fiery and Swoop.
After having her meal she took the plates, bowls and silver ware to the cafeteria. Checking the time on her PDA, free period seems to be ending, "Time to go guys, come back" she said as she returned all three of her Pokemon back to their Pokeballs. She continued to the next class, as she stepped into the classroom it seems that very few students are here. She continued to find a seat. Alexis took out her phone to pass the time, although she didn't get to socialize much it's still quite peaceful around, the sounds of the leaf being blown by the wind, the birds in the sky chirping. It was relaxing her through the day, still she hopes to make new friends soon.

The sea otter Pokémon looked over at Charles after unleashing a powerful wave of shadow energy at an Aipom that sent the monkey Pokémon flying. Charles looked over at the sea otter Pokémon while noticing that its head and arms were in a shade of nightly black. He eyed over at the Pokémon’s smooth, violet fur on its body while taking a mental note of the bubble-shaped area around the Pokémon’s neck. The sea otter Pokémon holstered a shell on its stomach after managing to sheath the dark red energy blade emitting from the shell’s tip.

Noticing the faint bruises on the Pokémon’s body, Charles attempted to pick up the little Pokémon. However, it seemed to be that the little Pokémon was not too interested as it took a step back to elude Charles’s arms. Charles looked over at the sea otter Pokémon while thinking, “Should I take him to the nurse or what? Even if he does look a bit evil and cute... I guess I might have no choice then. I should be glad that he’s not like Squirtle... hopefully he’s doing well in there.”

Inna watched silently as her Skitty was being petted, well at least she found her pokemon, when the other female leaved she hurriedly picked her and put in the pokeball, the others are already in the pokeballs so there is no worries for them, she sighed as she heard the bell ring, well its free period or a class, well she better leave now and probably try to find something to do,maybe find where the boy who left is right now

Henry had returned to the cafeteria and noticed Gabriel wasn't there anymore, Understandsble, he thought, he was now heading outside, maybe a stroll would help him clear his mind on what he just saw.

Inna was trying so hard to not try to find the male, but it was not her problem, she bited her lip and decided to find him, well hope that her curiosity will not let her in trouble, maybe he went there or there?
Well now she was lost maybe her poochyena will help it,she let him out of the pokeball and told him to try to sniff out something

"I heard we have safari zone next but... I also heard we have singles battles. What do we have?" Maxis said curiously "Eh whatever, I'm gonna go to the safari zone! gonna find me a pokemon" Maxis said as he walked towards the safari zone "It's like I have a random sense of where things are" He said What is up with that Asseylum girl? he thought "Wait!!! gotta get Elgi and Slash healed!" he said as he ran to the nurses office "Hi, I got some pokemon to get healed!" Maxis said as the nurse said "This battle go bad too?" the nurse said "Nope, it was a tie, I think I did good. I couldn't have done it without Elgi and Slash." he said as he handed over the pokemon and their pokeballs "Looks like your pokemon were fighters... just like the little squirtle." she said in a sad tone "Whatever happened to him? How's he going?" Maxis asked "He's going good."

As soon as she was out of sight, Gabriel let Absol out of his Pokeball, and hugged him. Absol was confused, but didn't try to pull away. Minun and Plusle jumped off of Gabriel's shoulder and onto his back. "Come on guys, we gotta go get ready for next class, I think its Endurance class next. Time for me to beat some obstacle courses!" The three Pokemon cheered happily, and followed her towards the safari zone.

As the nurse returned his pokemon he thanked her and let them out of their pokeballs "You two did great, you should know that, let's see if we can find you two... three, a friend at the safari zone. Sorry Xena but you didn't do much work with the battle, you are still a great team member." he said while scratching behind Xena's neck "Let's go there now!" he said as they walked away, towards the safari zone.

Alan checked he clock as he finished up his research, it read {12:15} ‘fifteen Minutes until class’ he though to himself as he gathered up the information he had written down about the students in the photo {Jeremy Greer and Austin Holmes 3rd years and roommates in boys dorm room 508}

With his belongings gathered he takes his hoodie back out and puts it on. Pulling the hood up over his head as he exits the dormitory. Taking the moving sidewalks he makes his way south towards the Safari Area where he sees a group forming in front of the groundskeeping shed. It is a Small green building with a corrugated metal roof built at the edge of the forest. Above the door a sign with Groundskeeping has the words scratched off of it and a piece of paper reading {Professor Holly’s office} is taped below the vandalized sign.

Standing in front of the shed speaking to a small group of students is a woman in her late twenties with long green hair. She is wearing an outfit that reminds you of a prospector or explorer and appears to be in great shape with a thin frame and toned arms. She nods at Alan as if they’ve met before as walks past her to lean against her “office” while waiting for class to start.

...

Some time passes and a majority of the C Track students have arrived when the Tri-Tone bell rings signialing the start of class.

“Welcome to Endurance Class!” The green haired woman says to all of you with open arms “My name is Professor Holly, and I will be your instructor. Most of your classes here focus on training your Pokémon, this one is all about training YOU!” She shouts the last word and points at the class and punches a fist into the air “we’re going to start of slow today, one lap around the entire campus, make it back before the period ends or you get no credit for the day. Now GO GO GO!!!!”

Gabriel grinned, she didn't mind running that much. "Ready guys?" She asked her Pokemon. Minun and Plusle were standing on Absol's back, holding on tight, Absol looked up at her and nodded, ready to run along side her. This was one of their typical routines at home, they would race each other across the meadow near her house. Gabriel moved towards the front of the group, she liked to show off a lot, and wanted to finish first, even if it was just a simple endurance test.

Alan was in great shape save for the drugs and Alcohol and had no problem catching up to Gabriel and tapping her on the shoulder. “Sorry I had to ditch out of lunch today I wasn’t feeling well. is it cool if I call you Gabby?”

Henry had arrived just in time, there was no way he would miss another class. He released his other two pokémon from their pokéballs instantly, "Alrighr guys, let's go!" he shouted.

"Uh, sure." She smiled. "It's fine, I had to go charge up Absol's Pokeball after todays battle anyway." Absol looked up at Alan, he wasn't used to having someone other than Gabriel who could keep up with him, most of the time at home, he would be showing off in front of all of the younger people who lived nearby. He could see that his trainer was having fun, and that's all that mattered to him.

Making conversation makes running less boring Alan thought to himself suddenly glad for Gabby’s company “So what made you want to become a trainer, to come to this school?” He asked her

Mike finished his meal and didn't really care much when Alan left. Then he bought some food for his Pokémon which they quickly ate and headed to his next class. After hearing what the teacher said he immediately thought,"This isn't gonna end well." His Pokémon started running and it took a while for Mike to catch up. "Why cruel world," he muttered. He was jogging at the minimum pace possible, but he was still tiring quickly. Eventually he saw Henry running with his Pokémon. "Hey.... lunch kid. Sorry, I'm not really one for names," he said as he began running backwards.

"Well, my home life was pretty boring to be honest, kinda normal really, then...my parents got a divorce and I went to live with my dad. He was a Pokemon breeder at the time, and he got me interested in Pokemon training, after that, I pretty much got bored of just waiting for life to come to me so...I enrolled here, to challenge myself. My mum never approved though, and I haven't heard from her since." She looked at Absol, Minun and Plusle. "These guys I got from my dad, the three Pokemon who had no luck being adopted. I figured we both needed company, and we bonded quite quickly." She smiled as she remembered meeting them for the first time. "What about you?"

“I was raised by my father back in Celadon, never met my mom and Dad never spoke of her. Dad also never wanted me to be a Pokémon trainer. You see, he owns a casino back in Kanto. It’s part of his company, and after my older brother ran away to become a trainer he became fixated on me become the heir to the family business. I spent my entire childhood isolated, being educated, watching him work. It was miserable.”

A gloomy look overcame Alan as he remembered his upbringing “I too ran away five years ago when I was twelve. I met Charmander before I traveled to Hoenn to live with my uncle in Lavaridge town. I Caught Treeko and Sneasel during my time living and traveling with my uncle. He’s the one who suggested that I come to this school, told me I had the aptitude of a great trainer”

Gabriel looked at Absol as she took in everything she had heard. "Wow...that must have been really harsh, having such a controlling father. At least you're here, doing what YOU want to do with your life, and not being forced to work somewhere you don't want to."

Alan looked up from the conversation noticing that they were on the home stretch “Look gabby! We’ve almost made it” Alan laughed nervously eager to change the topic, regreting bringing up backstorys in the first place.

Mike chuckled and sighed as he started jogging normally again. “Well, mood swings, I guess. As for my time here, to be honest it’s been... relaxing. I don’t expect it to stay like that though, pretty sure this school is meant to be challenging he told Henry. Rowlet had it the easiest since he just had to fly.

Gabriel looked up, and saw that they had almost completed the lap. She grinned, and looked at Absol, gave a slight nod, then started sprinting ahead of Alan. She turned and called over her shoulder as she ran "Just because I'm hanging out with you doesn't mean I'm gonna let you beat me to the end!" She laughed and drew closer to the place where they had started, Absol next to her, Plusle and Minun cheering excitedly on Absol's back.

"Same for me, though I had a bit odd things" Henry replied. He noticed Fletchling flying faster in the front of him, "Look, the finish line is near!" Henry said as he started to increase his running pace.

The sea otter Pokémon felt a sharp pain in his chest, as he fell on the ground while Charles gasped. He was caught in Charles's arms and swiftly scooped up before being securely cradled. The last thing he saw before everything went to darkness was Charles slowly walking towards the next class of the day.

"Hey, are you alright? You look like you got into quite a fight there with that monkey earlier..." Charles asked while a small, purplish orb appeared an inch above the sea otter Pokémon's shell and was promptly sent towards Charles.

The orb harmlessly dissipated in the air once it was about several inches from Charles's head while an infantile voice whispered, "I'm a bit exhausted... shadow energy really takes a toll on me... I'll explain more later... just go to your next class... I already saw what happened to that turtle earlier when I went up to grab a quick snack..."

Charles nodded at the little Pokémon after understanding every word the voice said. Charles gulped when he saw the time on his PDA after taking it out of his bag with his left hand, as he felt it silently vibrating. The screen read, "Please come see me at the Nurse's Office right away. I will excuse you from the class you are currently in right now."

Knowing that it would be impossible to go to class at the moment, Charles made his way to the Nurse's Office with a slow, steady pace. The sea otter Pokémon dozed off in his trainer's arms while attempting to regain as much energy as he could from the powerful attack unleashed upon the Aipom earlier.

When Mike heard the finish line was here it was like he heard he was being given 1,000,000 dollars. He zoomed past Henry, past the flying Pokémon, and past Alan and Gabriel to cross the finish line. Once he did he fell on the ground and groaned. “Somebody give me a trash can,” he said before his face fell flat on the ground.

Gabriel crossed the finish line seconds after Mike. She looked at him, laying sprawled on the ground, and felt anger rise inside her. She didn't know why, but she hated when people beat her at the last second. She knew it was selfish but after today she didn't care. Absol came bounding up to her a few seconds later, Plusle and Minun on his back. She narrowed her eyes at Mike for a second wanting to say something, then went to congratulate the others on finishing.

Henry had arrived at the finish line, he saw Gabriel waiting for the other people. "Hi there" Henry greeted her panting, "Looks like someone was very excited" he said chuckling at Mike on the ground, "if you need help getting up just give me a shout!" Henry exlaimed to his exhausted classmate. Fletchling landed nearby Mike's head giving a puzzled look.

"Oh, hi, congrats on finishing! That was fun." She smiled at him. The she turned to look at Mike on the ground and her eyes narrowed again. "Yeah, let me know if he needs both of us to be able to stand." She finished sarcastically and walked off to talk to the others.

Alan slapped the side of the Shed as he finished his Lap, he and Gabby had been the first two to finish.
“POINTS!!” Professor Holly yelled cheerfully at the two trainers as they made it back “Class ends in 10 minuets, you’re dismissed.“

Alan walked away from the Safari zone headding northeast towards the Ruby Convention Center, the large pokeball like building next to the boys dormatory.

The reflective blue automatic doors at the main entrance beeped as they recognized Alan’s PDA and slid open on silent tracks to reveal a vast empty space within. Directly inside the door two flights of stairs on either side lead up into the Stadium’s seats while ahead a tunnel lead out onto the stadium floor. As Alan proceeded down the path lights would turn on behind him with each step until he made it to the end and was greeted by who he assumed was Professor Beech. A tall athletic man with spiky sandy blonde hair. The Professor was wearing a light blue short sleeved button up and Kaki shorts.
“Little early for Single Battles Class” The man chuckled “I’m Professor Beech, I’ll be your instructor.”

...

Time passed as Alan chatted with Professor Beech and by the time the bell rang most of the C Track students had arrived. The Professor nodded to Alan before turning to address the class.

“My name as you may have guessed is Professor Beech, and I would like to welcome each and every one of you to Single Battles Class. As you may have guessed, this class is the single most important class you will take this year... just don’t tell Professor Sakura” the man then laughs heartily throwing his head back. “We’re going to kick things off with a bit off an icebreaker today. I’d like all of you to pair up and battle with a single Pokémon each. Keep in mind that we won’t be battling in here every day, after you’ve found a partner just get right too it”

Alan begins scanning the crowd for Gabby when he spots her he walks over “Want to battle with me this time?”

Maxis had skipped class to find a shroomish for his team, once he caught it he had nicknamed it Bopper. He knew it evolved into a Breloom and he liked the look of the pokemon but because there was a three pokemon limit he decided he would use it instead of Xena most of the time due to Xena's one damaging move.
