Undyne - Urban District (Mark Guyver Battle)
If one were to say that this fight had gone on long enough, Undyne would have to completely agree with them. This fight
had extended from being a fun anime mech battle into a drawn-out conflict with some little kid hiding behind his toys like the coward he was. The mech in question had burrowed underground, and she didn't need Sonic's warning to know where it was coming up next, so she leaped into the air once again, propelling herself with the small energy platforms she generated- though not at a higher altitude as she had before.
Mark Guyver burst from the ground, drills screaming through the air as rubble and dirt were flung in every direction, missing Undyne by several feet as she launched herself through the air over the heads of the others, though her destination wasn't the ground. Deftly, she landed on the roof of the parking garage, popping her neck for a moment before her golden gaze glared down upon Masaru while Sonic made a grab for the remote.
What ensued next was somewhat comical as the two began to tug and struggle for control of the remote, resulting in the mech beginning to act aloof. She would have laughed if it hadn't decided to break a pillar in the garage. Miles was in there, and while she thought about checking on him, she decided against it.
With Masaru distracted, it was time to put the mech down for good, even as it zoomed toward the boy. How woefully poetic it would have been for the child to be crushed by his own metal monster-
No, that was too good for the punk. Conjuring her spear once again, she moved. Without anything to stop her, Undyne performed her earlier maneuver, rising higher into the air using the stepping stones. As she did this, spears began to erupt out of the ground beneath Mark Guyver and its charge, or spun through the air from multiple directions to target the advanced movement thrusters it possessed. It worked a charm, slicing and picking away at the metallic boots- and what lay within, some spears even stabbing directly inside. It was a matter of seconds before the mech's jets began to fail it, cutting in and out from the damage just in time for her to launch herself down like a bullet once more, face splitting into her classic wide grin.
Masaru was distracted, nothing could stop her.
Then she'd deal with the brat.
Using her spear, she made to ram it through where its head used to be. Knowing the damage she had caused previously, her spear would rip right into its core if she was successful. If not, she had other strategies in-mind to use.

Sub-Zero, Scorpion - Ravaged Battlefield (Covenant Phantom)
The two ninjas glared at one another after Red's words, before Sub-Zero lowered his fists. "I am willing to talk, Hanzo." He told Scorpion, who's blank stare hardened at the mention of his name. "Speak another word and I will rip your spine out through your throat." He hissed, but the provocation didn't prompt a response from the cryomancer, who remained unguarded, hands at his sides.
"Tell me why I'm wrong, Sub-Zero." The pyromancer growled, pointing his sword at his opponent. "Lie to my face."
"I never harmed you or your family." Kuai Liang stated calmly. "Your clan was destroyed in a plot by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi." He continued, to which flames began to flicker around Scorpion's body with every word, clearly not buying into what Sub-Zero was saying. "You murdered me when I sought revenge!" He yelled accusingly. "That was my brother." Sub-Zero corrected. "Bi-Han, who you killed later in the tournament."
Scorpion looked away, seething as the metal ground began to bubble beneath his feet, heat radiating off of him in intense pulses. When he didn't speak, Sub-Zero took a step forward. "Hanzo, I have tried telling you this. We are not enemies. Quan Chi has been using you. Misguided you. We can-"
His words fell on deaf ears, for as a split second later, Sub-Zero's voice was cut off as Scorpion's sword pierced through his chest in the blink of an eye. As the Grandmaster's eyes widened, the blade became engulfed in a torrent of angry flames that burst through the cryomancer.
With a flash of light, Sub-Zero was replaced by a statue resembling himself, standing upon a thin golden platform. "Decimus spoke the truth." Scorpion muttered to himself before he retracted his blade, heat still washing off of him in ferocious waves. "I only came for Sub-Zero." He told them. "Stand in my way, and suffer his fate."
He made to grab the surprisingly light trophy by the middle, aiming to take it and leap out of the Phantom to the shuttle that awaited him below it, hidden from the sensors of the Covenant Phantom.

Master Chief - The Mountains (A Singular Mountain, To Be Precise)
The Spartan calmly rotated his arm a few times, silently making sure everything was in working order. It was, of course, but one could never be too careful. He could have taken that fall a lot more gracefully had it just been him landing, but he hadn't tried catching someone before. Now he knew how much he wanted a jetpack. His current make and model of the MJOLNIR Mark VI armor was limited, at best. Cortana had briefed him on some upgrades she could install based on blueprints to improve his suit, but most of those required energy and power they didn't have available. They'd had it on the Forward Unto Dawn, but that wasn't exactly an option anymore.
Though he wouldn't say no to working some type of thrusters into his suit's systems. That would come in handy next time he had to take on Eggman's forces.
Lola began dancing about, trying to put out the fires as quickly as she could, watched by the others for a moment. It wasn't exactly necessary, the foliage was spread wide enough to stop any spreading, alongside the lush trees filled with water would halt most fire's progress. Then there was the obvious snow. Still, there was something almost cute about how frantically Lola was working to ensure no fires spread.
His attention was directed toward Lola's handler, the boy Copen, who was staring at Chief with a question that was undoubtedly on Green and Hunter's minds as well.
"We got some intel." John confirmed with a nod, but was quickly interrupted by Cortana, who spoke through the comm systems. "More than some." She corrected. "I know everything there is to know about him. His real name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Self-proclaimed IQ of 300,
sounds like someone's compensating." Cortana interjected into her breakdown, tossing a jab at Robotnik. "He's your run-of-the-mill villainous megalomaniac, but he's thwarted constantly by his arch-nemesis, an anthropomorphic hedgehog known as 'Sonic'. He's got a colorful history of turning animals into robots, building nuclear devices, and he's apparently attempted to conquer time and space itself. Obviously he's failed, or else Sonic wouldn't be listed as 'still meddling but not for long' in his file, followed by typed laughter. Dr. Robotnik seems to always fail every conflict, but also always escape. There's much more, but most notably, he also likes fried chicken."
"We learned that he's here collecting keys." John added in an attempt to get Cortana back on track. "Right, that." The AI replied, Chief's attempt successful. "I was hacking into a few of his automatons, even broke a few fire walls in that blue robot you all were fighting. It's known as 'Metal Sonic', you can guess who inspired it. It had a key, Eggman has one, and another unit of his called 'E-102 Gamma' has acquired a key as well, making three in total. What they go to, we're not sure. How many more there are, I don't know either, but just based on a wild theory I've cooked up, it might have something to do with the Nexus in the center of this world."

The Dragonborn - Rivet Ravine (Previously Mega Aggron's Lair)
The adversary had been overcome. The great metal beast collapsed to the ground before disappearing in a flash of light. When his eyes fixed back on it, he thought it was coming back for more, and felt ready to go again- but then he realized it wasn't moving. The monster was frozen like a statue, standing upon a thin golden platform, almost like it was a massive trophy.
He cocked his head at the sight of it. That was definitely... different. He wasn't used to his enemies turning into life-sized trophies upon defeat. Regardless, it was down for the count, and now the treasures within the room were ripe for the blundering.
"You did well." He complimented his companions. "Now come, let us find what REAL treasures this beast was guarding!" Eagerly, he made his way to a pile of gold and began to toss the gold aside. He had plenty of that back home, and it was useless to him. No, a beast of that magnitude, it had to be guarding more than just riches.
It was guarding something of far more value. Once again, he found himself hoping it wasn't some scroll. He hated finding scrolls.
