OOC: Hey, sorry I'm late to the party!
Name: Alex Forester
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Team: A sassy Espeon, an eager Growlithe.
Bio: Raised by a protective single mom, Alex had only just been able to begin his pokemon journey. Back in Mossdeep, Hoenn, Alex's mom is one of the top domestic pokemon trainers. Being exposed to her training clients' pokemon from a young age, Alex grew up with the goal of becoming a Pokemon Behavior researcher.

"Yes, Mom, I'll be fine. . . . I know Sinnoh isn't the safest place right now, but really I think overall this is actually the safest decision to make. We weren't able to find any affordable fire stones in Hoenn for Gowlithe to evolve with, but you know how cheap they are here in Sinnoh. . . . Okay okay, I'll be careful. As long as I have my pokemon with me, I'll be fine! . . . I love you too." Alex hung up the phone and looked behind him the crowded airport. The sound of footsteps, luggage wheels on tile, and anxious people filled the air in a way that made Alex a little antsy. Thankfully the taxi he called should be arriving soon, and he'd be sitting right outside the airport when it arrived.
Growlithe looked up at Alex and pawed his leg. "Oh Growlithe, I really shouldn't be letting you break your 'sit, stay'. But I think an exception every now and then is okay," Alex picked her up and set her on his lap. Giving his Gowlithe a hug made him feel a little better. "You know, I won't be able to do this for much longer!"
"Arf!" Growlithe looked up at Alex and barked happily. Growlithe was excited for any way she could better protect her Alex.
On the bench next to him, Espeon rolled his eyes and meowed for the third time in a row. "Oh I totally forgot this is your lunchtime Espeon! Here, I'll see what food we have left," he said, setting Growlithe down. As he reached to unzip his suitcase, he heard the sound of tires crunching on asphalt. The taxi had arrived. "Looks like you'll just have to wait until we get to our hotel room!" Alex said to Espeon with a wink. Espeon responded with an exasperated meow.
~~One short taxi ride later...~~
"Ah, here we are, Shooting Star Hotel. I was starting to think we'd never make it here!" Growlithe bounded out of the taxi and ran straight for the people coming out the front door. Alex stepped out of the taxi shaking his head as Espeon pranced alongside him, excited for food. "You two are such a handful some times."
