Michael and Jodi followed after Maker,sighing as they saw her gazing over a Growlithe.When they heard about Ray,they approached them.
"What's Ray gonna do?"Michael asked them.
"And what's this?"Jodi asked,taking the flyer from Alex's hand.They both read it and raised an eyebrow.
"Now this is something I want to see!"

Otis returned Clever, and continued to follow them. She remained silent, instead sending out her Unfezant, Joey. The bird perched onto her shoulder, and she continued to follow Liam, Maker, and Oliver. Soon, they arrived at a hotel, where Maker started to talk with a trainer who had a Growlithe. Joey flew off of her shoulder, and walked up to the Growlithe. “Unfezzzzzzant. (Hello, I’m Joey, what about you?)”

Alex considered Maker's response. "No way, for real?! That's amazing, I would love that!" Alex took a second to calm his excitement a tad. "Wow, so you were involved in Tempest's fall? That's really something incredible."

Turning to Joey, he explained: "Oh, well I really want to become a pokemon researcher in the field of pokemon behavior. Ray seems like he has a lot he could say on the topic of rehabilitation." Alex looked a little nervous from the criticism. He really wanted to make a good impression. He looked around for eavesdroppers before adding, more quietly, "I also really believe in the rehabilitation of people too. All these people who are saying they should be locked up forever, or excessively punished... they just don't get it. I'd love to hear from a person who was able to switch sides."

Growlithe noticed Joey approaching and barked playfully. When he got close enough, Growlithe play bowed, hoping Joey would be up for a game of chase. At the sight of this interaction, Espeon immediately turned around, walked over to Alex, and sat on his feet.

Ray laughed at the building remark. "What, you wanna break THE REST of my limbs now, too? No thank you!" he teased. "But in all seriousness, thanks for your support. It means a lot to me..."
Ray stretched and let out a big yawn. "You'll look beautiful no matter what you wear... don't even worry about..." he groggily rubbed his eyes.
"I think I need to go to bed soon, though... Where are Maker and the others staying? We should meet up with them tomorrow, before the event or something..."

Joey play bowed as well, signaling that he wanted to play with Growlithe. Although this Unfezant has a bad temper, this wasn’t a time to be mad and the bird was pleased to actually play around for once. And to the other side, Otis glanced at the trainer. “Actually, all of us helped to defeat Tempest.” She shrugged at Michael, “I might as well try one.” Otis got the box of cupcakes she had received earlier, and she opened the box slowly. Otis swiftly grabbed a cupcake in the middle, and took a bite out of it. “Whoooooaaaaa. This cupcake is delicious!”

Eli walked into the shooting star hotel with his pokemon behind him and started walking towards the desk "Hello may a please buy a room for the night?", the receptionist smiled and nodded. Eli pulls out his wallet and paid for a room.

"Don't worry I will take care of everything. We can go meet them tomorrow before the conference." She got off him and sat down in the corner of the couch with the food. "I'm going to finish eating and watching the movie, you should get some sleep." She said with a smile.


Maker noticed the trainer walking in with the Eevees. "Wow there sure are a lot of Eevees in this room." She turned her attention back to Alex. "Anyways I'm going to my room now, we should exchange numbers though. I will let you know when we are going to meet up with him." She took out her pokegear and gave it to him. "I'm sure Ray won't mind sharing his experiences with you."

Jodi turned to Oliver and raised an eyebrow."Look who decided to talk!"She said sarcastic."Well...My Nuzleaf and Charmander both evolved into a Shiftry and a Charizard. Oh,and I hang out with Michael a lot!I got to see him win his last ribbon and he got to see me get the rest of my Badges!We had a lot of fun together!See the red in his hair?I dared him to do that!And he dared me to bury my head in the ground.That was weird. Heh..."

"That sounds like it was great! I didn't do anything really special....I've been staying with Maker, since I have no idea how to navigate on my own. The only other good thing was coming here to see you again!" He said cheerful . "(Ollie, your so stupid why'd you say that at the end!)" His mind screamed at him, and he sighed, realizing he just did something potentionally stupid.

"Aw,thanks!"Jodi said grateful."And don't think that what you just said is stupid,because it was really sweet!"She patted him on the shoulder and continued to look around the room.Michael was secretly watching them and his eyes were filled with pure joy.Jodi noticed him and gave him an annoyed look,but chuckled anyway.

"Sorry Liam! This is Michael and Jodi, friends back from Kalos. This new one here is Alex." She said introducing them. 'Now I'm off to sleep, Otis you're staying with me. Ollie you got the room next to us, 512. I will see you all here tomorrow morning say... 10 am?" She didn't wait for anyone's reply to that. "Great! Good night ya'll!" She said as she and Eve walked away to the elevator.

Oliver looked around a bit, sighing again. "Its been so long since I saw everyone....it feels....different....." He thought to himself. "Mmkay. But, what about Liam? If he's part of the group of friends, he should get a room. You know what, if no one else wants to, you can sleep in my room, not a big deal to me. " He said, walking over to Liam and punching him in the shoulder playfully.

"Oh,looks like we need to bounce!"Michael said a little disappointed and happy at the same time."Okay Jodi,you can flirt with Oliver later,we need to go back."He said,pulling Jodi towards the exit.They waved to everyone good bye and left the building.They got on Blaziken and got home in about 5 minutes and went to bed.

Maker walked into her room along with Otis. "Well let's go to bed! We have tons of stuff to do tomorrow!" She said as she changed into her sleeping clothes. "It was kind of awkward for you to see Michael again huh?" She asked Otis with a playful expression. "Just don't break more hearts here in Sinnoh ok?" She laughed at her own joke as she went into bed. "Good night Otis!" She blew her a kiss and curled up with Eve.

"Alright, will do" Ray got up and gave Azumi a kiss before heading off to bed. "Night!" he called out as he closed the door behind him. He was excited for tomorrow, but also a little nervous... he mentally rehearsed his talking points over and over until he finally fell asleep.

Growlithe, panting and wagging her tail watched her new friend leave with Otis. She barked, promising to play again soon. "Wow, how lucky am I," Alex thought to himself as he walked up to his room with Growlithe heeling at his side and Espeon lazily trailing behind. "To have met with so many people involved in the fall of Tempest, and to have gotten an interview with someone so closely involved in pokemon rehabilitation." Alex opened his hotel room's door pleased to find his bags already there. The room smelled clean, as well, so that was nice. Much better than some hotels he had been to. He flopped onto his bed, determined to get a good night's sleep despite his excitement.

Azumi didn't last long. Soon she began to doze off while watching the movie. She turned it off with a sad expression that she didn't finish the movie again. "Time to sleep Nana." She said as she petted her Kirlia who was sound asleep on the couch.
Azumi dragged herself to the bedroom and curled up next to Ray, falling asleep quickly.

Azumi woke up at sunrise. She stretched her hand and placed on Ray's face, poking him on purpose. "I'm going to make breakfast." She said as she rolled off the bed. She looked at herself in the mirror for a few moments while her head tried to get active. Soon she took a deep breath and changed into a sporty outfit. She went outside, stretched and began jogging doed the street. She knew Ray would take a while to get up, which gave her time to go jogging and make breakfast.
After running around the block a few times, she returned to the department. She walked in to find Nana dancing to some music videos on the TV. "You better not wake typhlosion." Azumi told her as she pointed at the sleeping Pokemon by the door to the balcony. Nana nodded with a smile and continued to dance. Azumi began to make some eggs, ham and beacon while looking at the news on her laptop.


Maker woke up on the floor. She must've fallen off during the night. She got up and blamed Eve. "You kicked me off again."
Eve just stretched on the bed in response. Maker looked at herself in the mirror for a while before picking some clothes and going to take a shower. After she was done, she called to Otis to let her know she was going down for breakfast.
Azumi rushed down, with Eve following behind. She walked into the diner area, only to see Alex already.
"Yo!" She called out with a bright smile. She rushed over to his table and sat in the chair next to him. "Good morning! How'd you sleep?" She asked as she stopped a waiter who was passing. "I'll have the same as him please! With french fries also and a vanilla milkshake." The waiter took the order and left to get the food.

The waiter set a tall stack of warm pancakes in front of Maker. Not the sad, chewy kind of pancakes either. No, these were fluffy and came already with a buttery flavor infused in the pancakes. Long story short: they were quality. "Oh hey, you're up early!" Alex looked up from his pancakes with a grin. While Growlithe sat beside him, Espeon slept in her pokeball. He never was the early riser. "I slept great, thanks for asking! This really is a high quality hotel. The beds are softer than the one I have back home," he laughed. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught Growlithe staring at him. Alex eyed her before looking back to Maker. "I think she wants to go say hello to you. I can release her from her sit, stay if that's alright with you," he commented, motioning to Growlithe. "How about you? Sleep well?"

"Well of course! I can't say no to that adorable face!" She said looking at the Growlithe. "I slept well apart from Eve pushing me off the bed." She gave her flareon a mean stare, but Eve didn't seem to care. "So regarding Ray, they will most likely be meeting us today in case you want to tag along. Which reminds me, I have to let Michael know." She took out her pokegear and sent him a message.

Hey cupcake man! We going to meet up with Ray and Azumi, want us to wait for you at the hotel or want to meet us wherever it is that we are going to meet them? I better see some cupcakes btw!

Alex looked down at Growlithe. "Okay, you can go say hi!" Right at the word "okay," Growlithe sprang into action, landing her front paws on Maker's lap. She panted, hoping to be pet. Laughing, Alex addressed Maker: "thanks, it's important for me to make sure she's well behaved before she's too big for me to pick up anymore."

"So regarding Ray, they will most likely be meeting us today in case you want to tag along. Which reminds me, I have to let Michael know," Maker informed Alex.

"Oh, yeah that'd be great! I'd love the chance to meet some of his pokemon, too. If that's part of your guys' plan already, I mean," Alex quickly added. Growlithe's ears swiveled back, hearing Eli approach. Turning her head to the new arrival, she bounded over for more attention. Alex shifted his gaze over to Growlithe's new target. "Oh hey! You were here last night, right? Come take a seat. It seems Growlithe's already taken a liking to you and your pokemon," he added with a laugh. "The pancakes are great, you should really try some."

The two pokemon began chasing each other in circles to the amusement of some diners and the annoyance of others. Though he loved seeing his pokemon enjoy herself, Alex resolved to call Growlithe back if and when she got too excited.

"Oh, I'm just a guy from Mossdeep. I'm hoping to become a pokemon researcher some day, specifically in the field of pokemon behavior. Just yesterday, I met Maker over here and she offered to arrange a meeting between me and Ray Montag." Alex thought for a moment. "Originally my plan was to come to Sinnoh just to find a fire stone, but that seems to be changing pretty quickly. Speaking of which, where'd you find yours for Eve?" he asked Maker, gesturing to her flareon.

Maker picked up Growlithe and petted her. "You can never be too heavy for this!" She said as she kissed her and petted her. The waiter brought over her food. Maker set the Pokemon down. "Sorry beautiful I gotta eat!"
She began to eat and smiled when she saw Eli join them. "The name's Maker Towers. Nice to meet you!" She continued with her food listening to the trainers and swallowed when Alex asked the question. "I'm a fire type trainer and my dad is an archeologist, so they come in my possession easily." She ate more food and looked away as distracted when she suddenly came into a realization. "Hey! Want one?" She looked reached into her bag and pulled one out. "I don't have any use for it at the moment." She placed it on the table.
"So where you from Eli?" She asked the new arrival.

"Sure!" She reached into her bag and pulled another one out. "That's the last one." She said while doble checking her bag. She put her bag down and continued to eat. "Flareon is great! Eve decided on it and I decided to be like her and specialize on fire type Pokemon!" Maker looked at her Flareon proudly and Eve smiled back, wagging her tail. "Lumiouse huh..." Maker said as the flash backs of the incident came back to her. "Nice city! What brings you here?"

Alex's fork dropped to the plate with a clink. "Woah, are you sure?" He stared at the stone with surprise. "Those are really expensive where I come from. The only other one I've ever seen belonged to a famous stone collector from my home town." His gaze trained on the stone, Alex was speechless for a moment. "I . . . Thank you so much! I guess I'll hold on to this for now. When a growlithe evolves into an arcanine, they grow nearly 8 times in weight and triple in height. I imagine that's a pretty exhausting process, so I want to make sure to wait until I can give Growlithe the time she needs to recover. "

In the background, Growlithe barked playfully. She had rolled over, allowing her new friends to jump on her. Alex was glad she was having fun. He knew she'd be able to handle evolving. Growlithe may seem soft with how friendly she is, but she's a tough pup.

Alex chuckled to himself, recalling a fond memory. "I remember when Espeon evolved from an eevee. He barely even grew at all, but he still slept for a week after that. Though given his personality, I wasn't too surprised." He looked back at Maker with a smile. "Seriously though, I can't thank you enough."

Eli picked up the stone and placed it in his bag "Thank you so much!" He looked back up at maker "I have not been on the road for all that long, pretty much strait here(what town is this? sorry) from home." Eli looked at the ground with a frown"I guess I felt like I wasn't doing anything important at home, so I hit the road to find something worthwhile to do, maybe meet some new friends even" Eli smiled and looked back up "What are you two doing here then?"

"Don't worry about it!" Maker told Alex. "Plus I'm sure she will make a great Arcanine! I got three if them at home, they are so lovely and majestic!"
She then turned her attention to Eli. "You're very welcome! I'm here in Veilstone to visit my sister. It's been a while since we last saw each other." Maker finished her food. "Uff I'm stuffed!" She stretched her arms out. "So Eli, got any plans for today?"
