Open CoDA - (A Superpower RP) Still Accepting New Arrivals

Clay quickly changed into his ghost form. Ryka stayed human and ran towards the van and the Adaptdroid. Clay caught up and managed to catch up with Ryka via flight, easily keeping up with her. They aimed for an attempt to stop the Adaptdroid before it had the chance to drive off.

"Huh?" Aura mumbled, her head jolting up. "W- what happened?"

----
"Alright everyone, when you and your partner are ready, your battle may commence"
Sammy grinned, "Ya ready?"

"Well, you were working on an ice sculpture. T-then you passed out. Are you okay?" Kevin asked, clearly concerned with Aura as he was right next to his friend to offer comfort and help to her if needed.

---------
Emily would grin as she got her "game face" on and assumed a kung fu position even if her powers had nothing to do with martial arts.

"Ready when you are!" Emily said before she got serious and assumed a more traditional ready stance. Though her energy and excitement was still visible.

----------
The Adaptdroid's sensors would indicate the arrival of Ryka and Clay. In response, it would fire a pair of what appeared to be plasma shots on a couple of virtual lights posts that would call them to fall on top of Ryka and Clay. The Adaptdroid would count on this to at least finish slowing the pair down as it would load the remainder of the stolen money and got in the driver's seat of the van; making preparations to leave with the bridge entrance as a clear target.

The light posts fell down onto Clay's shield, which he had put up the second he saw the blasts hit the light posts. They fell off Clay's shield, falling to the sides. Clay put the shield down, with Ryka taking off the instant it went down. She found an object with a sharp end on it. Once she got close, she pointed the sharp end at one of the back tires and threw it at the back tire.

With a flick of a wrist, all of Ramon's flames went swirling back towards him.

"Wouldn't these flames kill anyone if they were to touch them, miss Scarletti?" said Ramon with a chuckle, "But, that isn't all I can do with my flames." Ramon then let his arms out in a glorious fashion, and six different flames spewed from the ground. There were red (regular), golden, green, blue, purple, black, and white flames surrounding him.

"Each flame has a different ability," Ramon said, "But I won't go in detail in what each flame does, but I'll show you instead!" Ramon then made a finger gun, and aimed it directly at Celica. Black flames that were shaped like arrows were shot directly at Celica. If they were to hit, Celica wouldn't instantaneously burst in flames but it would still hurt.

The black flames, also known as the "Flames of the Gods". These flames are said to be calm and soothing, so they do not burn down forests, but if ever touched by a mortal, the pain is described as being rammed by the strength of two elephants. Ramon thought that the battle was already over.
-----------------------------------
"Reaction Time and Analyzing," Suzy responded, "You must work on figuring out your opponents movements before you think of your own. Rushing in without a true plan would lead only to devastation. I wasn't able to watch the whole battle, but I do know that Serenity was able to read your moves very quickly, which was able to give her the upper-hand. You possess great physical strength and speed, but those mean nothing if you can't do anything with them on the battle field."

The two then made it to the nurse's office, but....there was a sign that read.
"Sorry, I'm on break. Be back when I feel like it!
Love, Ms. Reeds!
P.S. If it's an emergency, then I'll be in the lunchroom (or gymnasium....for reasons)"

Suzy then sighed. "It looks like the nurse isn't here," Suzy said, "Do you think you'll be fine enough that we can wait for her to return, or do you need her now?"

Laila cocked her head thoughtfully, at Suzy's advice. 'She may be onto something.' she thought. Then she replied to Suzy's recent statement. "I'm not entirely sure." Laila said. She licked her injury carefully in an attempt to clean it up a bit. "Though it might be best if it is taken care of as soon as possible, so it doesn't get worse."

Celica, as if she had eyes in the back of her head, dodged the Black-flamed arrow by shifting to the side at an inhumane speed. Without skipping a beat she continued fleeing, this time shifting from running in a straight line to the zigzag of evasive maneuvers. Besides her bond-mates, the only thing she had was pure physical capability. Her branches were supple while being stronger than steel and although such strength was limited to her main-body, her avatar wasn't that far off. In fact, she would've rushed towards him but she was still rather wary of those flames and didn't want to get into 'combustible distance'. While she created an ever-increasing distance between them Celica called out a warning to her opponent.

"Senior Ramon, you should do well to remember I'm not your only opponent~"
Right on cue, her duo of sparrows dived out of the air, their feathers shining with a metallic luster. They drew arcs aiming to brush past Ramon's arms and legs. If they were to hit, their feathers would slice clean through cloth and flesh inflicting numerous shallow wounds. Celica's plan was to outlast her opponent. Assuming she could get enough hits in he'd collapse of blood-loss... eventually.

Ramon was impressed that Celica was able to dodge all of his blasts. Por una arbol, no esta tan mal.

Ramon was confused for what Celica meant when she said she wasn't his only opponent, when the avian creatures from before then flew at him. He was able to dodge one of them, but wasn't able to completely do so for the other, and got a cut on his arm. "I did not know you would pull such a trick," Ramon said, "But it looks like I can't go easy now!"

Ramon then readied himself, as he would burst into golden flames. The flames were even burning on the arena floor, which was only sand. Ramon would try to keep the birds away from him as much as possible, and this would then give him the opportunity to chuck multiple blades of White Flames at Celica.

White Flames, flames that are able to become solidified. The user is allowed to shape the fire in anyway they see fit. The solidified forms are allowed to keep the same heat as fire, so even the slightest graze would sting.
--------------------------------

Suzy nodded, and then said, "Alright. You should stay here then. Don't want you to be moving much." Suzy then started walking off to find the nurse.

Suzy went to the cafeteria, but Ms. Reeds was no where to be in sight. The next place to go was the gymnasium. As soon as Suzy entered the gymnasium, all she could see was a coach leading some students to do some exercises, but....Ms. Reeds was still no where to be seen. Suzy would then close her eyes, and immediately open them back up, only for them to be covered in a purple aura. With this, Suzy basically had x-ray vision, and she started looking around.

After some time, she found Ms. Reeds! But....she was hiding behind the wall, and seemed to be peeking at something. Hmm...very suspicious. Suzy was able to get behind the wall without the other teachers noticing, and walked up to Ms. Reeds.

"Ms. Reeds I-" Suzy said before being interrupted by Ms. Reeds putting her finger on her mouth. "Shush, shush, shush," Ms. Reeds said really quickly, "The best part is about to start." Ms. Reeds was looking through a little hole, and when Suzy looked into it, it was.....disturbing. It was a hole that allowed anyone to see the student's exercise, but...it mostly centered on the coach. The coach was doing squats, and the person looking through the hole could the see the couch's *cough cough* behind.

"Ms. Reeds is this really...necessary?" asked Suzy. "Of course it is," Ms. Reeds replied, "Having to deal with all of you today has made me stressed. I need some time to enjoy the finer things in life."

Suzy sighed, and then said, "Speaking of which, there's a students who needs your help now." Ms. Reeds got up, and then said, "Fine, my break time is already over anyways.

The two then finally made it back to Ms. Reeds office. Ms. Reeds then touched Laila, which would then in turn heal her, and both students got a lollipop. Suzy then decided to go back to class, and watch the rest of the fight.

His lessons finally finished, Sky headed back down the hallway, taking casual glances into the classrooms he was passing by. As he floated past the combat block, an unfamiliar aura caught his attention, forcing him take a look into the classroom to his left. Per usual, a flock of birds attacking a boy coated in an unusually pale fire while chucking arcs of the same fire at another girl. A girl which he'd never seen before, although the magical aura seemed vaguely to him.

Shifting into wind and flying into the room, although it was more like a chamber than anything else, Sky reasoned that the birds had got in through one of the various windows installed inside these rooms in order to stop a build up of any smoke or poisons, due to the powers some people would inevitable have. Solidifying soundlessly on the sidelines to watch, something about the person started to become strikingly familiar, but still new to him, in a way. He had an unfaltering memory, and all other students in the room he'd seen around school numerous times. But a certain negative energy was radiating off her, which was mostly the reason he had decided to stay in the sidelines in a solid form, as opposed to flying above the fight as normal. With a hard, emotionless gaze, he kept a good amount of attention on the fight, although impressed with both the level of fire manipulation and the strangely confident, experienced way the girl dealing with the combat. "Huh, weird. Pretty sure that she isn't meant to know how to do stuff like that in... Is that year eleven? Twelve? Eh, something around that. Could've sworn her aura's older than that" Sky pondered whilst still watching the two spar

"Thank you." Laila said through the lollipop she was given, before changing back into her human form and following Suzy back to the class. She thought of something worth bringing up. " You know, there's probably someone here that could teach you how to defend yourself without using your powers. You know, since it leaves your physical body vulnerable. Just a thought, you understand."

Celica suddenly stopped running and made an about turn heading straight towards Ramon, her body almost horizontal with the ground. In this position, she managed to snatch a few rocks from the ground, and as she returned to an upright position her eyes locked onto the ghastly flame blades. Puffing her cheeks with clear physical exertion she whipped her arm around in a manner completely impossible for any creature with bones and catapulted a rock straight into the ghastly flame. Hopefully, those flames were rather volatile and the impact would cause them to explode. Otherwise, she'd need to figure some other way to deal with them. As for the flame-wielder himself...

"Ning! Zen! Cacophony!"

Understanding exactly what she meant the swallows positioned themselves adjacent to each other only a few meters from Ramon. Their wings once again becoming a blur of motion. Dust kicked up around them, and their feathers collided with each other. The hyper-frequent collisions of the feather-weighted metallic wings released a sharp, high-pitched soundwave that steadily grew in volume as the Duo picked up momentum. A cat's claw on a blackboard would sound like the New York Philharmonic Orchestra compared to the grating sound of metallic collisions being produced. The sound, if it grew loud enough, would easily shatter eardrums and induced chronic headaches. Luckily, Dryads had no such thing. Her opponent, on the other hand, would be in quite a bit of trouble if the sound continued to escalate.

The blades of white flame were stopped by the rocks, causing both the rocks and blades to fall down unto the floor.

As soon as Ramon could hear the avian creatures "Cacophony", and immediately fell unto the ground. He started screaming in pain, and shut his ears to try to prevent the noise from getting worse (it didn't work).

Ramon smirked, however, and said, "So....you sure know how to use these creatures in battle, huh? Well....I'm no different." Ramon then raised his hands into the air, and his purple flare went shooting right next to Celica's sparrows. The flames then....started transforming! The flames then turned into exact copies of the sparrows. The purple flame birds then started flapping their wings, which caused a gust, but the gust was covered in flame, and aimed it directly at the sparrows.

------------------------------------------

"I've been in martial arts for six years already," Suzy said, "But the fight I had with Diego proved that it doesn't matter. My fighting prowess would be completely useless against someone who can tank attacks as hard as he did. I need to learn how to do more, I know, but.....I don't know exactly what that is." Suzy then clenched her fists.

Celica sighed and waved her hand,

"I admit defeat."
Seeing as even her last-ditch strategy had failed there was no need to stubbornly continue the battle. The hovering sparrows barrel-rolled to either side, avoiding the tongues of flames. The retreated quickly before perching on Celica's horns. Although she was a bit frustrated there wasn't much she could do about it.

"Well, you won't be so lucky next time. But I'd suggest checking the nurse, or you might suffer permanent damage to your hearing."
She consoled herself in the fact that even in defeat she emerged completely unharmed. With her attention no longer on her opponent, she now had the chance to check out a certain mass of energy that'd been subtly influencing the air quality ever since he entered the room.

Strictly speaking magically laden air was a lot more delicious than normal air, and as a creature that fed of both magic and air, it was heavenly to Celica. With a gluttonous expression, she began making her walk closer to the source of this delicacy while her leaves splayed to absorb as much magic and air as they could.

Hissing, Sky's incorporeal form darted away from what he could now recognise as a dryad and latched to the ceiling, where he spoke. "Excuse me. If you could not try to eat me, I'd rather appreciate that. I didn't realise that we had an earth spirit here." Shooting a column of wind vertically downwards to pin her to the ground, he cautiously flew down until he was about a metre both above and in front of her, allowing him to have a slightly closer look at her. "You don't look all that much like any spirit I've seen. How old might you be?"

The sharp object would slice through the back tire clean, which the Adaptdroid sensed as it tried to drive away. Knowing its ride was now useless, the Adaptdroid considered its options as it got out and fired a series of laser blasts aimed at Clay & Ryka. Not enough to kill either of them, but should they connect it would knock them back and do some damage.

During this, it would generate some cables to grab the sacks of money inside the car; little doubt to take it and make a run for the bridge as it fired at the opposition.

---------
Rebecca had to admit, watching this guy caused a sense of envy to develop within her. She could so so many unique techniques, and unique flames themselves that her rather one-note use seemed to pale in comparison. However, she would shake her head.

No, I will not allow this to kill my spirits. This is just a temporary obstacle, not a permanent roadblock.

The bell rung, finishing the Ramon and Celica's battle. "Due to forfeit by Celica Scarletti!" exclaimed Mr. Kinito, "Ramon El Dorado has won!"

Ramon stood up, but was a bit limpy, and he was sweating a lot. Maldita sea! Por un arbol, ella esta muy rapido. Necesito tener mas cuidado con ella, pero por horita necesito ir al infirmera. Ramon then started walking towards the nurse's office.

For the remainder of class, all of the other students had their fights each showing remarkable strategy in how they have used their powers so far, and this intrigued Ram.

Mr. Kinito then issued his students to stand together, and he spoke aloud to all of them, "I must say, you all are extremely capable in combat. Most of you even used your abilities in ways, I bet, you weren't familiar to. And, if you want me to be honest, for most of you I chose students with powers and abilities that could've easily countered yours, but most of you found a way to get through that counter. I hope this exercise has shown you all your strengths, but most importantly your weaknesses."

"I dismiss class," Mr. Kinito said, "You may all join your little "clicks" if you wish. I shall be doing some paper-work, and do not wish to be bothered, so don't cause any ruckus." Mr. Kinito then went to his desk and commenced work.

Suzy was completely tired, this whole day had been so exhilarating, she didn't even know if she could handle it. She simply fell on the floor, and started to relax herself.

Lily & Andrew walked over to Suzy, who had flopped on the floor, seemed as if the day had taken a lot out of her to say the least. Lily crouched down and offered a smile to her friend.

"Well, that was a class for the ages if I would say so myself." Lily said as Andrew offered no other word, merely glancing at the other students. Diego and Serenity seemed to have gotten into another argument with each other, they really did act like a bickering couple from where he stood.

Being pinned to the ground Celica stared at the air spirit unwillingly after being rudely interrupted from her feeding.
"I'm 160 and if you'd be so kind as to release me thank-you-very-much.

It would seem the local air spirit were quite stingy with their mana, she'd only nibbled a bit of it and he was already complaining. But, since there was nothing she could do for the moment, she merely waited for her release.

Warily releasing his hold on her, he willed himself into his physical form and dropped down in front of her. "So, you're not like me? You're way too young to be an earth spirit, so I guess there must be another sort of dryad I've not seen before. Anyway, I guess I might as well say sorry. I can't really risk my natural form at this point, so if you could try not to eat me, that'd be great."

Sky was... Unsure of how to treat the visitor. His first instinct was to kill it, as he would with any other earth spirit, but she was obviously too young to be one of them, along with the fact that he didn't actually know her. And if another one had formed, he'd definitely know. So for now, he supposed he might as well leave it as a guest. Or a student? It was in a class, so he reasoned somebody had simply let it in without his knowledge.

"Earth Spirit!? Of course I'm not! I'm a Dryad! Though, you could ask one of the older Dryads who've lived upwards of 10,000 years. They usually know a lot. You can't miss their trees, they're literally the size of Skyscrapers."
Celica then proceeded to prattle on and on about her home-forest as well as providing very specific direction of how to get there. Eventually, she ended with "I guess I can not eat you...but I demand higher quality soil!!"

She then whipped out an extensive list of luxury-tier requirements for the soil which she wished to order. Without waiting for further input from the air-spirit she pushed the list onto him and rushed off to socialize with the other students.

Clay flew after the Adaptdroid, with Ryka following to the best of her ability on the ground. Once the two had gained some ground on the Adaptdroid, Clay flew lower, lifted Ryka off the ground, gained altitude, then threw Ryka at the Adaptdroid. Ryka changed into a black cat in midair, and flew through the air. She ended up landing on the Adaptdroid in a fashion that would make it impossible for the Adaptdroid to 'see'.

Indeed, this tactic seemed to work at the Adaptdroid's visual scanners were now obscured by Ryka's body. As such this caused the Adaptdroid's shots to fire wildly. Blasting sections of the virtual road, sidewalk, buildings walls and even a traffic light as it tried to shake Ryka off and blast Clay while it held the sacks of money by cables from its body.

Candice had to admit, these two worked well together as a unit so far. Whether they could keep it up was the real question.

--------
Rebecca made her way over to Laila, the cat-girl who fought earlier, which was odd since Rebecca was a loner outside of looking after Emily.

"Excuse me, would you happen to know someone? A freshmen named Kevin? Before the whole...um, monster attack I swore I saw you talk with him. Just wanted to confirm you knew him." Rebecca asked.

"No kidding," Suzy said to Lily, "More like, this was the morning of the ages. From all that stuff with Kevin, to the fight with Diego, and so on and so forth, this day was just crazy."

Ramon, meanwhile in the background, was trying to flirt with every girl he could see. Dancing with them, and offering them compliments. Suzy looked at him, and just thought, Scumbag.

Clay took the opportunity to blast the Adaptdroid with an attack of his own, aiming for the Adaptdroid's chest as to not injure Ryka. Meanwhile, Ryka held on for dear life. Clay flew at the Adaptdroid, then phased through it. He went around the Adaptdroid, then then snatched the bags out of the Adaptdroid's hands.

"Yes, I talked to him. I helped him out a bit too." Laila said. "Why do you ask?" She cocked her head curiously.

"Processing, student interference....processing....counter measures..."

The Adaptdroid considered its options as it felt the bags of money leave its hands before it unleased a volt of electricity around itself that shoot the immediate area around it. The Adaptdroid counted on this shock stunning Ryka and Clay which would give it the chance to regain the money.

----------
Rebecca nodded at her confirmed suspicions before she would address Laila's question.

"Well, during that whole...monster attack my sister was grabbed by that thing when it took students in the auditorium. I was unable to get close enough to get to her, but thankfully before the best went back underground the kid Kevin rescued her; separating her from its grip before he and others chased after it fled underground." Rebecca explained, that horrifying experience a troubled memory for she never felt so powerless but she quickly got herself together to further explain.

"Once the staff explained what happened to many kids underground, I realize just how close I was to losing her. I owe that kid a debt, one I someday intent to repay. I was just hoping that if by chance you speak to him again you can tell him thanks for me." Rebecca said, making her request to Laila which she hoped was not too much to ask.

"Yeah, you've been through a lot. But think of this, you did well in your battle, were able to help another kid with his problems and helped everyone here get medical help. I say all in all, injuries aside, you had a good day." Lily said as she tried to bolster Suzy with praise after a long day.

Serenity saw Ramon flirting around with any girl he got close to and rolled her eyes. Serenity would admit he seemed talented for a hero in training but his entire attitude just...rubbed her the wrong way. Probably reminded her of back home too much.

Something a smirking Diego was more than happy to remind her about.

"This guy is a total flirt, but I'm sure you can count on your previous experience with the flock of flirts you dealt with isn't that right?" Diego teased, knowing that...those boys did not elicit fond memories from her which is why she glared at Diego.

"Oh don't you start!" Serenity yelled which only caused Diego to laugh.

Clay was almost out of range when he felt a shock. He yelled out in pain, but somehow resisted the urge to drop the bags. Ryka wasn't too lucky on her end. Her fur stood up on end due to the static. She yowled in pin and jumped off the Adaptdroid.

"I'll try. Though it might not be easy, considering that we're in different grades." Laila said. 'Wow. Kevin was really brave.' she thought. 'He'll make a great hero one day.'

Suzy sighed, and said, "You make a fair point. And Jesus, to believe I did that all in two hours or so."

As Ramon was flirting with every single girl, Suzy then caught his eye and he took this as his opportunity. He quickly ran up in front of Suzy, and said, "Mi amor~. Your beauty sparkles more than the moon and the stars in a beautiful forest night, may you be mi-"

Ramon was then interrupted as Suzy got up, and spin-kicked Ramon in the face. Suzy then did another kick, which would hit the back of Ramon's head, slamming his face on the floor. "I'm not someone to be messed around with," Suzy said, "Leave me alone."

Ramon clutched his jaw, and then said, "Playing hard to get, eh? I like that." "Gross," Suzy said disgusted.

Ramon then put his attention towards Lily, and grabbed her. He then put her arms around her. "Say, you aren't as mean as your friend here are you?" Ramon asked, "Why not spend one night with me? Go to a movie or dinner. I promise I can make your night worth wild."

jade421

Lily in turn, would actually give Ramon a smile as she put her arms around him.

"All those sound lovely, however I think a night under the stars. In fact, why don't I go send you to them!" Lily said before she would aim to deliver a uppercut to Ramon's jaw.

Diego and Serenity watched this from a distance, Serenity disgusted and Diego finding it quite humorous.

The Adaptdroid took advantage of this opening as it would charge the stunned Clay and reached for the sacks of money with the clear intent to take it back. If successful the Adpatdoid would use some short-range boosters to gain ground and advance towards the entrance of the bridge. How this actually played out remained to be seen.

----------
Rebecca would give a nod. "Thank you, that is all I can ask." Rebecca said as she was grateful that Laila would make the effort, however her gazed turned to Ramon who seemed to be trying to flirt with a few of the female students with little success which made her let out a sigh.

Ramon was confused at what Lily meant, but then he was uppercutted by Lily, and immediately figured out what she meant. Estas niñas estan tan malas!.....Eso me gusta mucho~.

Ramon clutched his jaw once more, and then said, "I forgive you ladies, as I know it wasn't your intentions to hurt me. After all, who would want to destroy such beauty such as myself!" Ramon then posed, and left the two alone.

Perv was the only thing Suzy thought about Ramon.

Ramon then made his way towards Serenity, and said, "How are you today, señorita?" He then put his lips on her fingers, and said, "Wait! Don't say anything! Your eyes tell me everything~." Ramon then lowered his hands to Serenity's chin.

Ryka saw what the Adaptdroid was up to. She shook herself and leapt onto Clay's shoulder. She hissed at the Adaptdroid and swiped at it with her claws out in an attempt to keep the Adaptdroid's hands away from the bags. Clay shook his head. His hair stood on end due to the static, making him look absolutely ridiculous.

Ryka's swiping seemed to work, as the Adaptdroid's advance was halted to avoid the sharp claws. However, the Adaptdroid was not willing to let this chance slip away as it would respond by shining a bright, blinding light from its chest in an effort to temporarily blind Ryka and Clay so that it could make another attempt to get the sacks of money from Clay.

The light worked, temporarily blinding both Clay and Ryka. Clay dropped the bags. Ryka almost fell off of Clay's shoulder. She dug her claws in, making him wince in pain.

Serenity quickly dawned a scowl as soon as Ramon made his way over to her. Before she could attempt to flee the scene she felt his fingers land on her lips before it moved to her chin.

That was all Serenity needed to see.

"There's one thing...one thing, you should understand. Outside of a spar or training exercise, no one...no one, is allowed to touch me without my consent." Serenity said with visible frustration before she would generate a large crystal through the ground underneath Ramon that in theory would send him flying. Serenity figured that should get the message through to this guy.

The Adaptdroid grabbed the bags Clay had dropped and began to run towards the entrance of the bridge, the light having faded once it had served its purpose.

Candice watched with interest. The Adaptdroid, unlike the previous one, didn't have a goal to so much defeat the heroes but merely escape from them with the money. As such, it was programmed to do whatever needed to get and keep the money, but not to fight the heroes beyond that which is why it did not follow up with an attack once Clay and Ryka had been blinded. The two had showed good teamwork to this point, but could they recover and have an answer for this development was the question.

"That's it!" Clay said. "Cover your ears!" he yelled ( to anyone that had them). Ryka jumped off Clay's shoulder and covered her ears. He took a deep breath, then used his sonic scream, not daring to use his power augmentation on himself for the safety of everyone else that was down there.

The Adaptdroid stopped in its tracks as the force of Clay's sonic screamed caused it to spark which indicated damage that halted its attempt to flee Clay and Ryka which seemed to present another opportunity for the pair.

Candice, along with the audience she assumed, covered their own ears as the sound reach from beyond the virtual world generated by the arena towards them. Candice reminded herself that perhaps she should add a soundproof feature so that something like this would not cause discomfort to the audience.

Seizing the opportunity, Clay grabbed the bags from the Adaptdroid yet again, this time flying them over to Ryka and set them down next to her. He flew towards the Adaptdroid and stopped just a few feet away from it. Now that the money was no longer it the Adaptdroid's grip, Clay took the opportunity to use his power augmentation on another of his powers. His hand lit up with a yellow green energy that was surrounded by a light blue color. He then blasted the Adaptdroid with his now enhanced attack.

The Adaptdroid managed to recover from the sonic scream to dodge some of the blast, but it blasted through its right shoulder which caused significant damage. Its capabilities with that arm were not limited as it processed a counter measure.

In this instant, its other hand became a blaster and fired a shot aimed for Clay's stomach with the intent to damage and knock the student into a light pole across the street.
