VADER

As Bowser concluded his sentence with confidence, a darker voice responded in tandem; "You may not be given such opportunities."

Two figures approached the pair, one clad in ebony armor, some of which was twisted as it had rapidly melted then re-solidified, half of the mask given this treatment, turning what was undoubtedly an already intimidating mask into a more twisted, cruel-like visage. A torn cape fluttered behind him, but his march forward exerted confidence and power. Almost comically, the other individual appeared as his opposite. A young man of bright colors, vibrant hair, and powerfully bright wings to boot. Yet their approach together made it clear they were allies of some sort.

"Recovering to full strength is not a luxury those like us can afford," the dark lord continued, coming to a stop. "However, if we were to work together, we would destroy all who crossed our paths."

LEON

"Aw, he's fine, look at 'im," Leon replied in lax to Masaru's concern over Kirby, gesturing at the pink demon. "Actually- hey," his brows knit together as he spoke to the puffball. "Do you have a name? Feels a little silly calling you the "little pink guy" all the time."

Eitri slowly looked around, taking in her surroundings. They had made it, the strange city. Large, ruined buildings rose up from the ground around them. They were clearly in ruins, some of them appearing no more than rubble. Broken glass and debris had been strewn around, but at least where they were there was no clear signs of anything recent. Eitri shifted on top of the Mokey Mokeys.
"Put me down..." Eitri grumbled to the two monsters, awkwardly climbing off of them. She yawned. Eitri was still feeling sore from the battle, but the nap made her feel a littel refreshed. Perhaps an effect from the Duel Monsters.

Eitri glanced back in the direction they had came from. So much for a gathering the remains of Grim Brokkr. Eitri brushed some of her hair out of her face, noting her lack of hat.
"Apologies, Belowski. It seems I won't be able to let you borrow my hat after all." Eitri remarked dryly. She looked back over to the buildings. There must be some clue here as to what all was happening here.
"We should start searching." Eitri said, walking towards the closest building.

Bugs Bunny
"Eh? She's up?" Bugs's replied, though his voice was muffled by the oversized hat covering his whole head. Specifically, Eitri's hat, which Bugs managed to find and "borrowed" for "research purposes".
He mostly just posed in front of a handheld mirror for most of the walk.
Lifting the brim so he could see, Bugs couldn't help but troll a bit.
"Yeah, that must stink. You can borrow mine though."
With that, Bugs dropped Eitri's hat onto Belowski's noggin, briskly walking into the area before he could get called out.
"C'mon slowpokes!" he called.

Kirby
Amusingly, Kirby squeaked like a dog toy as Omega gripped his body, and repeated the sound as he was tossed to safety. Kirby picked himself off the floor, giving Masaru a quick nod before running back to Omega, concerned, before turning to face Leon. Did he never introduce himself?
"Kabii!" he replied with some enthusiasm, though he seemed to be distracted.
Kirby surveyed the desert, but it was predictably barren. Unless Omega could be fixed with sand and rocks, they needed to move on.
Kirby remembered the sight of a few buildings from when he surveyed the area above. Maybe something there could help?
Kirby waved his nubs to catch the attention of his friends, before drawing a city on the ground below.
Or well, tried to. Kirby's attempt just looked like a bunch of patterned squares. Nonetheless, he pointed towards the Urban Area.

Zed
“You’ve seen firsthand the kind of power some of the contestants here wield,” Zed added onto Vader’s statement, coming to a stop right alongside the sith, still airborne thanks to his wing. “Therefore, wouldn’t an alliance be the best course of action? We would be an unstoppable force.”

As he spoke, a golden flame manifested in the Adept’s hand. It could have been considered a threat had it not shifted in shape, showing the amount of control Zed had over his Septima, the once formless flame turning into a golden flower.

“What say you?”

The Mokey Mokeys bobbed in place as their patient had exited their grasp. She was alive and kicking after all! The card playing youth was happy about this, but his words were stopped as Bugs placed a rather big hat on the boy, slumping down over his eyes and stopping on his nose.

"Haha...eyyy this thing is cozy." He said through the sagging hat.

The woozy duelist wobbled forward, clearly not used to the size of the new head ornament. That's when he lifted his hat just a bit, noticing something far off in the distance as he did so. A rather pudgy looking figures dressed in ornate red fabric. Another guy?

"Hey, don't that dude over there kinda look like a big ol' penguin if you squint reaaaaally close?"

Petey and The Boss
Petey was the first to spot Vader and Zed, peering over his pal at the dangerous duo. Bowser turned around to hear the offer, a grimace on his face. He turned to Petey, who had come up beside him.

"What say you, bud? Should we let these shrimps tag along?"

Petey shrugged, and then growled.

"You're right, they seem like our kind of people. That guy with the mask kinda reminds me of Antasma..."

Petey cocked his head inquisitively.

"You didn't hear about that? Well, that's a story for another time."

The two then turned back to the Sith and the Adept.

"Fine, you can join our crew. Just don't slow us down!"

Psyduck
The Duck was wide-eyed staring at Jack, until the Ghostrunner extended his hand. Psyduck's eyes slid over to the hand, before slowly taking it, having decided that Jack was a Pokémon. He let the cyborg help him to his feet, and then rested his hands on his head in the iconic Psyduck pose.

"Psyduck!" He introduced himself.

Omega
The massive robot stared at Masaru, unamused.

"I DO NOT FIND YOUR HUMOR ENTERTAINING. NO FLESHY MAN CAN WITHSTAND AS MUCH ABUSE AS MY THREE-INCH-THICK STEEL-ALLOY HULL!"

That's when the attention was shifted to Kirby. It couldn't speak, in sentences, at least. However, the thing still tried to communicate through drawing a picture.

"THE TINY SQUEAKY THING SEEMS TO HAVE A FASCINATION WITH SQUARES."

Their conversation was brief, but it was enough to inform the dark lord of exactly what his newly established allies were, fundamentally. It could prove problematic in-future, particularly the tortoise's personality. It would need to be worked around, but not detrimental. These fools could be used to accomplish Darth's ends all the same.

"You seem to be eager for battle," Vader pointed out, nearing Bowser. "We were seeking one ourselves. There," he gestured toward the blast from the laser. "Perhaps we may still catch what caused this." He urged the brute along with a clear goal.

LEON

"Not squares," Leon replied, tilting his head as he watched Kirby make his marks. Frowning, Leon looked up, attempting to peer over the treeline and the lingering smoke. He could have sworn he'd seen city structures at some point, but had been caught up in the situation to give it too much mind at the time. "Buildings." The DSO agent concluded. "There's some kind of city, there," he gestured in the general direction of the city. "Little buddy's got a good idea."

Jack
Psyduck seemed to be its name. This thing was kind of cute, he had to admit. The Ghostrunner crouched to meet the Pokémon at eye level.

“I’m Jack. Are you lost?” He replied, looking around the area, spotting no one, as he expected. Seemed the southeast portion of this forest had been mostly ignored by other competitors. More time to recover, he supposed. As if on cue with his thoughts, the red hue staining his optics vanished, courtesy of the Architect, his vision now fully back to normal.

“Befriending wildlife will yield no benefit.” The “A.I” inside his head spoke. The Architect was not one to indulge in simple leisure, always focused on the current goal. Of course, Jack was in full control of his own body, leaving the remnant unable to directly influence his actions, but he could still act as a nagging voice in the back of his mind.
King Dedede
(auto perms granted)

As the self-proclaimed king mulled over the lack of a pink puff to clobber, he spotted a small group in the distance, headed towards him. Some wacky rabbit was leading them, with two figures trailing behind, one of them wearing a rather large hat, some floating, marshmallow things right beside them. Certainly not Kirby. That sucked.

“The hell…?” While Dream Land was home to creatures of all shapes and sizes, he hadn’t quite seen peeps like these before. Hoisting his mallet over his shoulder, Dedede began walking towards the newcomers, unsure if they were friend or foe.

"Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but somethin' tells me he ain't gonna use that hammer for urban development." The rabbit quipped, munching on his carrot.

"Eyyyy! Penguin guy!"

"Sweet slugger there, it's pretty sick! What do they call you?"

The one with the hat ran straight at him, approaching with a smile, a friendly demeanor not too unlike that pink puff’s. Belowski’s compliments got a smirk out of the king, Dedede waving a hand dismissively as he set his weapon down, head of the mallet on the ground while the king casually leaned on the handle.

“Custom made, kiddo. Name’s Dedede, that’s the one ya should know.” He replied. “Say, what’re ya doin’ all the way out here? This place’s lookin’ awful, I don’t see why anyone would come to this place.” He questioned, ignoring the fact that he’d been wandering this urban area for what felt like forever now.

The Youthful Sage

Eitri had stepped into one of the nearby buildings to start investigating. The first room was a large one, some sort of lobby area. It looked to be in ruins, with rubble and debris everywhere. Clearly, this place had been abandoned for some time. Before Eitri could investigate further, Belowski said something about... Penguins? Another competitor?
"What is a... penguin?" Eitri muttered. Then Eitri heard him call out to whoever it was.
"Belowski!" Eitri hissed, quickly exiting the building to get to him. He was already walking towards a new figure with Bug. The figure, much like Bugs, was strange and unusual to Eitri. He was large and rotund, with a beak and massive hammer.

Eitri watched Dedede warily, walked up next to Belowski. The duelist seemed to have the situation handled, so Eitri kept her eyes on Dedede. She watched for any signs of an imminent attack or deception, and occasionally scanned the surroundings to make sure they weren't about to be ambushed.
"What are you doing?" Eitri asked Belowski quietly.

Before he could get closer to the king, his mage friend had come in for an interception, asking what he was doing. Stopping in his tracks, the boy chuckled and looked to her.

"Hey, no need for worries, I'm just being friendlyyy." He assured. "Ain't nothin' wrong about sharin' the vibes, nah?"

The visually naive big turned back to the kingly flightless bird, who introduced himself while putting his weight on his hammer. Upon him pointing out the state of where they were, Belowski did a once over, putting a finger to his chin.

"No lie, your on to somethin' there. But it kinda got all haaaazy as soon as that laser cowboy showed up, so we kinda just sorta winged it haha." Belowski laughed. "Say, what brings you here all by your lonesome? Sounds kinda lonely, dude."

"I'm Jack. Are you lost?"

That question confused The Duck a little bit, his face twisting to show it. Yeah, he was lost, he didn't know where the heck this place was, did this Jack guy know?

"Psy, psyduck. Psyduck psyduck psyduck psyduck?"

Mushroom Kingdom Hate Club(MKHC)
Vader's urging directed King Koopa's leer down the scorched path.

"Yeah... Whoever did this did a number on Pete here. I'd like to stick it to 'em, and I'm sure Petey would, too!"

Petey roared in agreement.

"What're we waiting for, let's show 'em what happens to people who mess with us!"

A fire burning in the both of them, the two mutants began stomping down the path.

Big Bobot
E-123 Omega considered it for a moment. While he did enjoy the desert, since there was nowhere for his targets to hide from his devastating barrage, the city was much more appealing at the moment because of his need for repairs.

"THE CITY IS INDEED A DESIRABLE DESTINATION. ...HOWEVER, BOTH OF THE MASSIVE ENERGY READINGS I HAVE PICKED UP ARE ALSO FROM THE NORTHERN DIRECTION. ARE YOU SMALL FLESHY THINGS READY FOR SUCH A FIGHT?"

Zed
“Excellent.”
The alliance had been expanded- though Bowser seemed to be under the impression the he was the one in charge. Hopefully the Koopa King’s personality would not bring the others down…

Either way, they were off to their next target. Bowser and Petey took the lead, with Zed following close behind, his wing helping him attain speeds far higher than a regular human, leaving a faint rainbow trail as he soared through the air.

Jack
“I am incapable of translating that. Or any non-human language, for that matter.”

That’d be a problem. Of course, it would’ve been foolish to believe Psyduck could speak English, but he at least seemed to understand Jack’s words.

The duck’s confused expression leaned towards a ‘sort of’, which led Jack to believe this thing was not from around here, though whether or not it belonged to the surrounding biomes or even qualified as a contestant was a mystery.

He wasn’t sure what to do with Psyduck. He didn’t seem hostile, and he’d never been face to face with a truly innocent being in his time active. Perhaps… it could be an ally?

“Come with me. Let’s search for a way out of here.” He told the duck, rising to his full height as he headed southwest, closer to the edge of the forest that bordered a distant, massive desert. Truth be told, he wasn’t expecting to find a way out through non-combat, but he wanted Psyduck to tag along. And if there was a chance he could get any information about this place, maybe even meet some friendlier competitors, then it would be worth a shot.

King Dedede
“Err…”

A bead of sweat dripped down the blue penguin’s forehead as he scrambled for an answer.

“Some bad guy was tryin’ ta mess with Triple D. Fight got us all the way here, and I had ‘em on the backfoot when the coward managed to run away. Been lookin’ for a while now, no dice. Must’ve sent ‘em packin’ to the other side of the world, hehehHEH!” He concluded his story with a hearty laugh, worthy of a king.

VADER

The sith took up the rear of the group, yet despite his seeming slowness, walking menacingly everywhere, he managed to keep up through means yet unknown. Perhaps his walk was faster than it looked.

The group's trek to their destination yielded unsatisfactory results, as by the time they arrived, they found nothing but the remnant signs of battle. The energy had come from this place, but whatever it had been, or whatever it had been used against, had since moved on, possibly due to their obvious positioning.

Darth glanced stiffly about, taking in the world around from this location, which was dangerously near the powerful barrier. Structures resembling a primitive civilization were nearby, closer than before, so the dark lord tempered with the force, feeling his way into that place to seek out their prey. Finding life forms wasn't difficult, but in this weakened state, it took more time than Vader would have preferred. He could feel the energy of multiple beings there, though none seemed to be engaged in battle. Bothersome, but not something to worry over just yet.

"They have fled into the city," Vader announced. "A small alliance. They will be crushed."

His words were meant to appeal to the tortoise, keep it focused on a target. To throw it at the enemy with the enthusiasm it clearly possessed. Weaken it, so that when the time came, Vader's "dismissal" of its services would bear little personal consequence.

LEON

The robot wanted to know if they were up for a fight. The DSO agent bit back a very witty and sarcastic response he'd cooked up, instead tossing up his shoulders in a shrug before taking the lead in walking toward the city. "Something tells me we don't have much of a choice," he chose to say instead, pulling out Matilda to check her over and encourage her continued flawless functionality. The last thing he needed was for her to jam, as custom weapons were known to jam a lot.

Belowski laughed along with the king, even if he didn't 100% follow along. As he laughed, the oversized hat he had nestled on his head slumped down over his eyes.

This guy didn't seem so bad. The Mokey Mokeys trialing him twitched their wings, their expressions somewhat changing into a slight grimace.

"Mokey..."

"Uh?" Belowski turned to them, lifting the hat with a finger so he could see them. "They are picking up some bad vibes...somebody's comin', and they haven't got any zen."

Dusty McClean

With everything going on around him, Dusty had quickly gotten bored of waiting in that one building's lobby. He turned off what he could, and zoomed outside of the building, before stopping around a corner as he heard talking. Some small child mentioning someone with 'Bad Vibes' coming.

That guy wouldn't...would he? Dusty would've cursed this luck if he could, but he needed to plan - This was the area he could use the most, he knew that, so maybe he had the advantage...As long as he stayed away from that group.
...
Goodness, that group seemed very strange, like several cartoons mashed together...

Masaru Takahara

"Ah, you'll have to see." Masaru brushed off what Omega said about his humor. Perhaps he was trying to be serious...what a dumbo. Still, he quickly focused up when Leon explained what Kirby was trying to say, and Omega suggested they had a fight on their hands.

"I'm ready for a fight, alright!" He nodded, significantly more excited than he probably should be for fighting multiple strong foes, possibly at once. "...Wait, uh...how far away is that city?"

Good, he bought it. Dedede thought, before remembering his initial goal.
"Say, you wouldn't have seen a pink-" but the King was cut off by a handshake from Bugs.
"Bugs Bunny at your service! What's up doc?" Bugs introduced himself.
"Uh-" Dedede failed to respond. Shaking off the bewilderment, he tried again. "Nothin', I just wanna know-"
"-And the chick is Eitri." Bugs interrupted again, his face ever-so-slightly smug, yet unreadble.
"Uh-huh." Dedede replied, much more irritably, just about ready to give up. His attention was brought to Belowski's warning, however. If he had some sensing power...
Dedede decided to try his luck.
"Huh, ya think you can sense Kir-"
"Ehhhh..." Bugs droned, munching on a carrot. "Sounds like trouble...again. You think they're as bad as that Laser Cowboy?"
Dedede paused, his hammer just shy of slamming over the rabbit.
"Uh, the what?"

Bugs side-eyed the penguin, ignoring the precariously held mallet.
"You feel some tremor or see some laser near here?"
"Uh, yeah?" replied Dedede, still not getting it.
"There you go." Bugs finished casually.
Dedede blinked, dumbfounded. They fought whatever did THAT?

Bugs covered his finger, pointing towards the King's blank expression
"Not the smartest bird, this one." he whispered to his team.

Kirby
"Hup!" Kirby barked, showing his willingness to take on anything. Aware that time was of essence, he put his nubs on Omega, ready to carry the damaged robot if need be.

The Youthful Sage

Belowski's lackadaisical response to her concern was expected. Eitri frowned, keeping watch on the King as she stayed alert. She took a closer look at King Dedede as he spoke and explained why he was here. Judging from the way he glanced around nervously, his tone of self-reassurance, and the damage to his self and his clothes, it was clear to Eitri that he had been sent packing by whoever it was he had been fighting. Despite his now slightly ragged appearance, Eitri recognized the garments and diadem worn by royalty. Either this creature was royalty, or wanted to be seem as some sort.

Bugs introduced himself to the bird man, and began to antagonize him. For a moment, it appeared as though Dedede was about to attack Bugs. But before he could, Belowski's Mokey Mokeys began to grimace and twitch. Signals that Belowski translated to mean others were approaching. Ones with... bad vibes. Which likely meant competitors who were of the sort to kill rather than work together.
"We need to move to a place that would give us an advantage. Are you with us, your majesty?" Eitri said. She glanced over to Belowski. "Do the Mokeys know how much time we have?"

Belowski shifted the large hat as it slid down his head, raising it as it sagged a little to the left side of his head. The Mokey Mokey duo both turned in the direction they sensed the negative flow of energy from.

"Mokey!"

They now knew the direction their foe(s) were in, detecting a sense of deep hatred...anger...suffering. That didn't jive with their vibe.

Scouring through the ruined premises of this temporary shelter, Pyro had found a crate full of various stuffs. Including a brand new magical trumpet tank, and even a long batch of horns to go with it! A rather flat and long one, this was. Well, it was still amazing. Any eyes that laid upon this sight would see this maniac equipping the Degreaser and putting on a Birdcage over their head. And then, he had proceeded to cut an exit into the wall with her axe and waltz off. Or, in its vision, open up a zipper and skip on through.

Evil Butterfly
Flying high over the smoke, fire and chaos happening below, Ribombee couldn't bare to know that he could do nothing but fly away. He'd have loved to get in there and ruin some people - unfortunately, he'd likely get himself charred to a crisp if he actually tried. So instead, there was a change of plans. He figured he'd need some shelter first anyway, how else would he be able to murder things if he didn't have a place to gather his strength and energy at? And right now, this best home would be that large mountain range in the distance. Because if living life has a bug type has taught him anything, it's that the higher up one lives, the better. Especially on a mountain where Rock Types usually live. (Not in this world though, that's for sure!)

Eitri stifled a yawn as the Mokey Mokeys pointed out where they sensed the auras from.
"Then I suggest we move quickly. Follow me." Eitri said. Drawing her cloak close around her, she walked into a nearby building. It was a large skyscraper, but its base appeared to be some sort of mix between a warehouse and parking garage. Eitri surveyed the area. Many nooks and crannies to hide behind, as well as possible exit routes. Then there were many floors above them to flee to or fall back to if need be.

"Belowski, you should begin readying what you need for battle. Bugs, that technique you did with popping in and out of the ground might prove useful here too. Are you able to burrow through this type of material, though?" Eitri asked Bugs Bunny.

Jack started walking towards the desert, where Psyduck had just came from. That was no good, that was the direction of Kirby and Leon! Though maybe the robot had killed them already...
Psyduck scrambled in front of Jack, and attempted to communicate his problem with the plan. He tried to convince the ghostrunner to go the other way, pointing north.

Tortoise and Flytrap
Bowser noticed this guy was playing to his interests. As long as they were both playing nice, Bowser felt confident that he'd be able to get the edge over the relatively small space wizard in the end. He, Petey, Vader, and Zed crept into the city, looking for the group, and they weren't hard to locate with Vader's sensing ability.

From the others' perspective, they could hear an ominous stomping approach.

"In there?"

A moment later, a reptile and a plant ducked their large heads in the door and grinned. Then, they pushed in the wall so they could fit inside, their mouths simultaneously erupting into flame, a wide berth of flame washing over the room. They sought to cook everyone in there alive!

As they prepared, Belowski had drawn another card to the hand he held. The bad vibes were so close now even he could sense it. Playing a monster on the field, Haniwa, the stone statue came to life. As fire filled the entrance to the room, Haniwa moved in front of Eitri and Bugs, fire soaking up on it's stone body and preventing those behind him from being burned alive.

"Wa." The stone statue echoed through it's stone shell.

Meanwhile, Belowski just took the flames, seemingly oddly untouched. In fact, he was just as untouched from Sateramon's laser...

The Mokey Mokey's flew up higher as to dodge the flames, their wings flapping rapidly. Their targets had been found. Had the dark lord been searching for a specific being, it would have been more difficult, but searching for a vague life force was simple and required essentially no effort. Had he been able to track specific individuals as efficiently, the surviving Jedi from order 66 would have been purged rapidly. Obi-Wan would have been found and destroyed long before he could have prepared for Vader's arrival.

It wasn't surprising that their enemies, trapped within a building, had counters for Bowser's blunt methods. The dark lord glanced at Zed, giving the vibrant-haired individual a subtle nod, before Darth raised a fist. The broken wall suddenly shattered, collapsing upon itself like a pile of rubble as the ceiling began to sink, all courtesy of an invisible wave that barreled forth. While not exactly the intention, the wave met the Mokey's own blast, connecting between the two groups, though there was unseeable hole in Vader's force wave, which had been made to prevent harming Bowser and Petey, unintentionally leaving them far more open to the effects of the Mokey Mokey compared to Vader and Zed.

Eitri

The sounds of the heavy footsteps grew louder and louder. Eitri stood close to Belowski, yawning again and readying herself for whatever was to come. The door was flung open, with two creatures looking inward. The first was a large, turtle-like lizard creature with bright red hair. The second was some sort of massive, red and orange plant creature. They both opened their mouths, bathing the room with flames as they destroyed part of the wall.

Eitri had seen the flames back in the forest. It appeared that these were the cause. Belowski summoned forth Hanewa, the same small rock creature Eitri had met before that simply laid around and did nothing. An like Happy Lover with Sateramon, it was destroyed. But also like Happy Lover, somehow its destruction prevented the flames from reaching Belowski and to a greater extent, herself. Eitri reached to the nearby wall, grabbing a hold of a small red box mounted to it. The text on the lever she pulled read 'Fire Alarm'.

A loud, piercing alarm rang out through the building. Sprinklers on the ceiling activated, dousing the room and everyone inside it with water and fighting the fires raging inside.

With her other hand, Eitri gestured to a nearby ruined vehicle. But before she could cast a spell, Bugs had grabbed her and pulled her underground.
"Talk about a warm welcome, amiright?" Bugs said.
"Unhand me, you fool!" Eitri said, pushing away Bug's face with her hand. Eitri peeked her head out of the hole, watching as an invisible force shattered the broken wall even more. The source appeared to be a man, covered in black armor, helmet, and cape. No, not armor... That was machinery. He carried with him a swords of glowing red energy. Glowing green energy appeared around Eitri's hand, and suddenly blades of green wind magic flew through the air towards Bowser. The mighty refined spell, Rexcalibur+!

The force resisted the Mokey Mokey wave to an extent, as it was repulsed, the flaked off like a dissipating ring of smoke, flying somewhat back to the user when Vader attempted to reflect. But after a handful of feet, it dissipated. It seemed bugs and Eitri had bailed before they could be hit by it. At least the holes in the force defense left Bowser and Petey open to be struck by said wave.

"Ey, that was kind of a party pooper move, man." He gestured toward fur group that attacked with a shrug, walking toward the entrance of the building. "Thankfully, my card human wave tactics is still in play, so after Haniwa got destroyed, I get to summon another monster. And I thiiiiink...happy lover wants to share the love~."

Playing a card down, the vibrant pink creature came to life, fluttering it's feathery wings.

"I'll also play this nifty little spell card called Mokey Mokey smackdown, but you'll see what that does in a moment." Belowski continued. "But in the meantime, come on happy lover, do the gushy burst~"

The small monster puffed up it's chest and released from it's mouth a blast of pink energy with rose petals revolving around it. It looked like a tasty pink gumdrop...If it weren't so energized.

Zed
While the enemies were focused on Bowser and Petey's direct onslaught, three fiery blades manifested above Belowski, Eitri, and Bugs, one of each dropping down on the trio, bursting into flames upon impact.

"A little rain won't put out the sun."

Hovering above the Koopa and the plant was Zed, the flames powered by his Septima seemingly unaffected by the sprinklers. A series of flaming feathers flew out from his vibrant wing, headed upwards to intercept Dedede's missiles, as well as deal damage to the penguin should any feathers make it through.

Jack
For some reason, Psyduck seemed really against the idea of heading further south. The duck got in front of his path and let out a bunch of "duck"s and "Psy"s, eventually pointing in the opposite direction, north of their position. The reasoning for this, of course, was beyond him.

“If you’re worried about threats, I’m well equipped for combat.” Jack told the duck. “Or is there something else that you’re worried about?”

"Don’t tell me you’re taking this duck’s ramblings seriously.”

Eitri

Eitri dove to the side as a firey blade dropped down on where she was standing only moments before, using her Pair Up ability to pull Belowski towards her and save him from a similar fate. The flames washed over her for a moment, but did not do much damage as she was already soaking wet from the sprinklers. Eitri scanned the battlefield for the origin of the attack.

Along with the giant lizard, plant creature, and man in black armor, there was a fourth figure. A young man in a blue military uniform with long red hair. Wings of fire seemed to sprout from his back, and Eitri watched as the Zed fired feathers to destroy King Dedede's missiles. They exploded in midair, and Eitri released Belowski from her Pair Up ability and seized the opening.

Eitri burst through the steam and smoke of the explosion, appearing directly in front of Zed.
"Greetings." Eitri said to Zed. Her hands glowed with green magic, and she fired a blast of Rexcalibur+ at Zed. Sharp blades of magical wind shot towards Zed, Eitri planning for the attack to knock him into the building across the street. The spell was already specialized in knocking Pegasus Knights and Wyvern Riders out of the sky, it should be just as super effective against flying enemies as Zed. At least, that was what Eitri anticipated.

Psyduck
The Duck thought for a minute. Y'know, maybe they could take the massive steel type that totally defeated those humans. Coming to a conclusion, he waddled out of the way, and let his buddy pass if he wanted to, a stubby arm gesturing forwards.

"Psyduck."

Terror Team
The two's flames, Bowser's especially, were barely deterred by Eitri's plan, before they were negated entirely by a weird invisible wave of energy. When the wave hit, the two were forced into drowsiness. Petey, the more wounded of the two, was already in fatigue's clutches, and collapsed to the ground on his back, his outie belly button appearing as he did. Bowser was able to fight sleep with rage; who the hell did they think they are trying to sedate him like that? It worked partially though, as he was unable to react to the fusion of a gushy gumdrop blast and a powerful wind spell. The impact blasted him back into the street, irritating his cracked shell.

That woke him up.

The Koopa king dug his claws into the asphalt, slowing his momentum down to a halt, before reaching behind him to grab a minivan. That minivan went through the building in the second floor, aimed to hit a certain penguin emperor. Then, Bowser charged forth with a roar, swatting at the small witch above him as he went, and then rolled into a ball that featured two halves of his top shell fused together! He aimed to plow right through the Happy Lover and, if he was a lucky Koopa, its master!

Belowski

"Wooooah..."

Belowski was paired up with Eitri again, who dragged him away from harms way of Zed's sudden flame attack. As he was set down and on his own, he received little reprieve, as Bowser struck back with a rolling shell attack, plowing right through his pink friend, shattering her into a million pieces!

As Bowser rolled on to hit Belowski afterwards, something was...off. Belowski didn't move to try and evade, in fact, he even sat down and yawned. Right as he was about to strike, something dove right in the way of the attack...it was a Mokey Mokey! It seemed a bit different though, it seemed redder...and angrier. Somehow it sponged Bowser's attack with it's body without being destroyed.

"Aw, look what you did to my lil' Mokey." Belowski chuckled. "With my nifty spell card active, if a fairy monster gets destroyed, all my Mokey Mokeys get all angry, boosting them to 3000 ATK points! Sweet, huh?"

"Mokey...!" The red hit Mokey Mokey shouted. "MokeyMokeyMokeyMokeyMokeyyyyy!!!!"

"Ahaha...alright." Belowski pointed. "Mokey Mokey one, you can get that turtle guy."

The enraged Mokey swelled up before releasing an absurdly powerful pulse of energy from itself point blank at Bowser. It would threaten to throw him right off of the ground and plow him directly into the nearby building with extreme force of the vibrations effecting his body!

"Mokey Mokey dos, you got the dark dude."

"Moooookeyyyy!!"

The second enraged Mokey released intense vibrations from its wings, far more potent than before, targeting Vader, trying to overwhelm his force and hit him with the temporary burst of raw power. Said power being equal to that of even blue eyes white dragon!

VADER

Chaos ensued. It was not unfamiliar to the dark lord, who noted every muscle twitch his allies, and his opponents, made. Anakin would have rushed head-first into the conflict, confidence bursting from the seams, but Vader had suffered one too many lessons to be so reckless. Notably, pairs seemed to emerge. Specific combatants immediately beginning to focus on one another, like Zed with the female warrior.

What was worse---the child wouldn't shut up. It didn't take an observant individual to deduce that the boy wasn't treating this seriously. In fact, he seemed to interpret it all as a game. Notably, the woman seemed to work overtime to keep the boy out of harm's way, while the rabbit continued to hide, and the penguin Vader had previously fought kept his distance. A strategy began to form in Vader's mind, but he was wary. The large plant had already collapsed, though it wasn't yet dead. It was clear that his group had been through tougher battles than the opposing one, and if he wasn't mindful, it would be their cripple. Hopefully, the plantoid beast could recover itself before their enemies took advantage of its immobile status.

The child, meanwhile, was utilizing his own strategy---though of his own design, as opposed to relying on his teammates. A summoner, not entirely dissimilar from the long-dead Astra and Musimon. The summons had already received a boost of power from Bowser's blunt tactics, but all of it seemed to be controlled by the gauntlet the boy wore.

Vader knew the kid's strategy before he'd even finished his sentence.

"Mokey Mokey dos-"

A sudden constriction fell upon Belowski's throat, like a vice grip had wrapped around his esophagus, threatening to crush it, while simultaneously an invisible force seemed to try and rip apart the cards in his deck. Vader looked on in cold observance. Just from what he'd seen so far, the summons only moved at their master's behest---meaning there was a likelihood they couldn't move without their master's say-so. And if this boy's tools were destroyed, that was something less to worry about.

Belowski

The razor edges pelted the outside of the Mokey Mokey, however, instead of popping them like a balloon, they just bounced right off. Judging from what happened when they soaked Bowser's shell attack directly, the debris in question weren't going to do too much in their current state. And one of the debris flew toward Belowski by proxy...yet seemed to bounce off just before it hit him, like some kind of invisible barrier. This was even further noticeable when Vader reached to choke Belowski's neck with his force choke. It seemed to be impacting something just past his skin, but not quite Belowski himself. What was going on?

"Oh? Haha...well that ain't going a work, man." He chuckled. "You see, with my nifty card called spirit barrier out, I'm immune to direct damage as long as I got a monster out, or as long as the card remains intact on the field. Far out, huh?"

He pointed toward an empty part of the field, and his spells/traps materialized into view. There was the spell card, Mokey Mokey Smackdown, a trap card called Human Wave tactics, and a third called Spirit Barrier. So that was the one.

In the meantime, the Mokey Mokey continued its attack unhindered. And since Vader didn't defend himself with the force this time, it was going to impact him full force! The Vibrations shot through his body, threatening to throw him into the distance and plow through the concrete of a collapsed building nearby.

The child's strategy was effective, even the dark lord had to admit. He didn't require allies to perform well at all. Darth was under the impression the boy alone wasn't very impressive, but these summons of his were what made him part of this bloodbath here.

The wave of vibrations struck, though a condensed and small barrier soaked up some of the damage. It was enough to force Vader backward a good distance, body shaking from the impact, before he skid to a halt, his boots digging into the ground. "Most impressive," he spoke after Belowski had revealed his hand---literally and metaphorically. The boy was untouchable, even by the force, until his summons were eliminated. Such a thing required speed and overwhelming tactics.

The woman seemed to be a counter to that, and she was facing Zed, who would perform better against the boy, whereas Vader would be a better match against her.

Through the force, Vader spoke to Zed, alerting him to this. "They play at our weaknesses. Trade opponents, and we will prevail."

Zed
"Greetings."

Eitri's Rexcalibur was fired at Zed, who had summoned a sword of brilliant light to block the attack, though it was surprisingly ineffective. The specialized spell sent the Adept flying out of the building, burning wing acting to counteract his momentum, managing to prevent him from striking the wall altogether, leaving Zed still airborne as his gaze locked onto Eitri, curious about her capabilities. Speed, flight, sharp winds...

This would be entertaining.

"They play at our weaknesses. Trade opponents, and we will prevail." Vader's voice resonated in his mind, Zed glancing over at the sith's duel with Belowski. A summoner with an advantage against a slower fighter like Darth. He understood his ally's plan.

"Good attack," Zed told Eitri with a smile. "Show me more!"

As he uttered that last word, the Golden Trillion took off, flying high in a wide arc above Eitri, leaving a trail of blazing golden birds in his wake, each one diving down at the sage in quick succession, closely following her movements. Zed himself would end up behind Eitri, conjuring a large radiant blade that he would fire at the woman.

Supa Koopa
The boosted Mokey's bad vibes blasted Bowser out of the building again. He smashed into a building across the street, and in the dust, the king growled with fury,

"Y'KNOW, I'M GETTING REALLY TIRED OF GETTING SLAPPED OUT OF THE ACTION!"

Bowser rushed through the second floor of the building he was smacked into, before leaping across the street and smashing into the second floor of the skyscraper; Dedede's level. His right hand had conjured a large iron mallet, which he chucked at the penguin. However, as it left his hand, a dozen shadow-y clones of the hammer split of from the original, making for a dangerous scattershot of heavy steel.
But, Bowser's momentum carried him through the large hole in that floor, and smack dab in the center of the fight again. There, he glared at the Mokey Mokey that hit him, and spat out a huge pink fireball, literally humming with power, which would be much harder to mellow out.

Belowski

"I know right? Power to the Mokey Mokey...ahaha..."

After their attacks, their temper simmered down, turning back into their relaxed white pillow forms. Their attack reducing back to that of a pillow. Drawing a card after this was over, Belowski tilted his head at Vader.

"Ya know dude, I'm sensing some real negative energy here...zat you? Can't be bringin' that wherever you go, that like, totally begging for bad Karma. You should just relaaaax, take a break, maybe grab a bite to eat. That sound lit?"

That's when to his side, a Mokey Mokey was shattered by Bowser's fireball, which Belowski didn't even notice until it impacted. His situational awareness was pretty poor, but the remaining Mokey Mokey didn't appear as such. It seemed shocked about the destruction of the Mokey Mokey, yelling before getting red and hot once more, spiking back up to 3000 Attack.

"Ah! Looks like somebody's being a party pooper." Belowski laughed, clearly having a fun time. "Ey Mokey Mokey, let's give 'em a taste of the Mok."

"Mokey! Mokey!!!"

The red hot Mokey Mokey used this added boost to focus on its Mokey Mokey wave, releasing a directional energy wave filled with more invasive vibes, ones that demanded those effected to fall asleep or lose their will to do anything.

King Dedede
Feather-shaped flames pierced through his missiles, and some stray ones through the smoke towards the King. Dedede wasted no time twirling his hammer forward, shattering the feathers as they struck the metal mallet.
Dedede raised his hammer, about to strike again, before the large turtle acted, launching a minivan at Dedede. The King met the attack with equal strength, slamming his hammer into the vehicle's side and send it behind himself. But the turtle wasn't done, having rose himself to D3's level before throwing a metal mallet of his own, which split into many!
Still on the defensive, Dedede inhaled the wall of metal before regurgitating it back, sending a hail of hammer over the enemies!

Bugs Bunny
Bugs tunneled around, thinking of something looney to pull, until an explosion from above send his dirt cover flying, revealing the rabbit!
His cover blown, Bugs decided to go for a classic, pulling out a pie (with a surprise!) and tossing it at Zed!

Further chaos ensued, but in a surprising and opportune move, Bowser drew Belowski's attention. Zed was engrossed in play with Eitri, but opportunities were presenting themselves. Barriers took a lot out of the dark lord in this realm, so he had to be selfish with his usage in this next move, which unfolded as the chaos continued to enhance itself.

The mallets, summoned by Bowser and spat back by Dedede, collectively began to spin rapidly, before all hurtling through the air, aimed for Eitri while she dealt with Zed's quick moves. Controlled by Vader, the heavy mallets would hone in toward her, spinning every which way, so even if she evaded, or even teleported, she would not be able to dodge forever, nor would she be able to put Zed in the way of harm with the mallets, as they would merely avoid Darth's ally. It was one of the mallets that splattered into the pastry dish thrown by the useless rodent, not ceasing in its pursuit of Eitri.

Bowser had managed to eliminate one of the Mokey Mokeys, and even if he was hindered from the second's attack, it would leave it open to a quick execution. If quick enough, Vader could take out the kid just as quickly before he could pull any more of his stops. This battle would be over in due time.
