The type who is a nonredeemable asshole. Can't say she'll get her comeuppance yet though. She's too busy brooding and being edgy. She's the type of person who listens to death metal cause it's TOO RELATABLE.

Maybe not nonredeemable. But her listening to death metal because it's relatable is now canon. And as is her murdering of corndogs.

Cecil is pretty strong, even without his cybernetics. Though yes, Toph's the prime candidate to fight him. Now she's got him pissed off.
The soldier speaking to Toph had a weapon, which did get straddled from her. Cecil's weapon is his mechanical arms. They still shouldn't win- Toph's gonna be overwhelmed by having to strip quite a few more soldiers of their guns, and it's not like they are slouches without them. The force could easily spook the four into a retreat while Nathan and all recoup.
As soon as Priscilla's group is done fighting Sawyer and hanging out in the base for a few posts, they'll be chasing down Cecil too. You don't think shooting down a number of Police Officers is going to go unnoticed, yeah? The news would be all over that.

The endgame for Goldenwalk is that Cecil had successfully retrieved several shards of crystal, and nearly activates the Gate that would let Zeliyis' forces overwhelm them. However, this Gate is damaged in a battle, causing the shards to scatter- teleporting most everyone away, possibly splitting the group yet again. However, at that point Team Nathan and Team Thor would've met up and united forces.

But....but Cecil is a literal cyborg? Something Toph can manipulate like how she made Iron Man dance around earlier. I get the intent here but guns and metal are not issues for Toph and I don't see a believable reason she'd lose here.

I want to not screw the plot but I don't want Toph to be done dirty and her abilities ignored in a sense. I just don't know what I should do.

I like this idea. Maybe Nathan actually sabotages the gate while the others are fighting? Sounds like something he'd do, and as the relatively weakest person there it'd give him an objective where he can be useful to the team.

...I did not consider this. Uh, think we could split them up again when we jump them to Fenrir and the Halo-verse? Team Thor would probably break the conflict I'm planning with the Ouroboros there.

I feel the same way... Hey Burble, suggestion. What if I bring in Scorpio here? Using the crystals for research purposes as he does he may have learned of Toph, and as such designed non-metal weapons to use against her in the same way Dr. Eggman created a battle armor out of plastic to fight the Iron Queen.

He's got cybernetic enhancements, most notably his spine, along with a mechanical eye. He also has Doc Ock-esque appendages that he uses to fight as well. Yes, she can indeed easily manipulate him, but that doesn't stop the rest of the troop from coming down upon her. The problem isn't that she can't do it (If you really want, she can rip out Cecil's current spine...well, later.) but won't be able to focus on doing it because...well, it's four or five powerful people against forty above average soldiers. They each have to take out ten, along with dealing with Cecil. It's not easy or a cakewalk.

Well, yeah. The Crystal burst would easily separate the group. Cecil is ironically/luckily sent back to a Zeliyis controlled area rather than anywhere else. The remaining troops in Goldenwalk are probably captured by government forces since they'll be scattered and have no backup (Which will feed into a small plot detail for the sequel).

I don't see any reason why not. Respects Toph and gives more excuse to run off. Plus feeds into their future relations.

Sounds fair to me. Toph is far from useless without metal bending, but gives a reason for Cecil's side to win against her.

....though don't go to far with these prep-time upgrades XD. Next we'll see robots with "anti Earth bending" weapons or "anti you can fight this at all" weapons XD.

I mean Toph's style kinda works in favor against multiple opponents. She knows how to deal with a big crowd. Her seismic sense is gonna make it hard for someone to get the jump on her as it were and Earth is the best defensive element.

nah jk. They're actually made of plastics and polymers, with what would be normally required to be metallic for electronic purposes replaced by a hard-light hologram that can function the same way. I'm calling them Mecha Scorpion-Ds. Scorpio's really only going to create these things for the common abilities such as psychokinesis, flight and super-speed. Ferrokinesis/Metallokinesis is SUPER dangerous when it comes to Zeliyis' army, ESPECIALLY the commanders, so if there's any power Scorpio would want to make weapons to fight against, it's that one. So it makes perfect sense.

Before anybody attempts to say otherwise, Samus could possibly hold her own against Doom-Slayerguy, she tagged an FTL Meta-Ridley, as well as other accomplishments.

Well, before I heard of this Doom Slayer wank I presumed Samus would stomp Doomslayer or Doom Slayer irregardless. Ridley and the monsters Samus deals with are eons more impressive than anything I've seen from Doom and Samus is better equipped.

Beleive it or not, Samus is the strongest warrior sci-fi ever produced. Her energy shielding can even allow her to wade through lava. And she can hold up to 10 layers of shielding. She is beyond the strongest sci fi Warrior, seeing as how she’s using the equivalent of a Forerunner battlesuit

Well she’s better than any soldier from Star Wars, Star Trek, doom, halo, starship troopers, and probably warhammer as well. She’s an absolute beast.

Seeing as her durability can take blows from Ghor without hardly buckling while the same blow can destroy fighters

Samus could beat Doomguy hands down.
Samus could beat my Doomslayer with probably slight difficulty, but not much.
But Doom Slayer? Considering he can only be hurt by demonic energy (as well as the Praetor suit), as anything outside of that is useless to him, and the fact that he has unlimited stamina, Doom Slayer would destroy Samus after a probably pretty lengthy bout.
as for Samus being 'better' than all Warhammer? that's probably a massive lie. Warhammer is meant to be stupidly OP that people debate whether Saitama himself could actually survive there (which he could, but you get the picture). the moment Warhammer characters enter this RP, i'm not gonna lie, i'm done.
