My Metal Sonic would probably work for Eggman too, as he's see that Eggman as his, and he can adapt to almost any situation.
Yeah no chance. Neo Metal alone trumps anything mechanical, and he absolutely dominated Modern Sonic - as in post-Forces Sonic - in a 1v1. Specter loses. Eggman's regular ground troops suck, but his commandos are to be feared by ANYONE.

Saying he trumps anything mechanical is a bit narrow minded. Besides, Neo pipotrons could probably take him out, although they would need a few to gang up on him

Mighty is the physically strongest being in the Sonic universe.
Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald.
Heavy is literally invincible.
Bomb is a legion of suicide bombers.
Vector is about on par with Knuckles in strength now.
Espio is a freaking ninja.
And Charmy... is kinda useless tbh but still.

He's an EXTREMELY strong and LIMITLESS quantity of explosions.
Espio can fight on par with Sonic and Shadow. That should say enough.
Fair about the Charmy and Vector thing, but that's mostly for the sake of gameplay. As said previously, Titan Metal is strong, but far from the best. He's best for raw destruction.

OVERHYPE? Specter could get his ass kicked by the Chaotix, Kanna and Tohru (Maybe Kanna on her own) and a bunch of other characters, but you always say "BuT hE hAs ClOcKwErK aNd ThE PiPTrOns" Put this monkey man against Goblin Slayer, he gets his ass kicked, the symbiote squad? They tear him apart, Goku? No chance specter wins, Dipper can probably find a way to beat him using the enviroment, Jamie gets pissed? Specter's shield probably won't be able with withstand multiple explosive punches, im talking 20+ in a minute or two. I'm just saying.
Then don't use the Ape Escape anime. If we're keeping this to games exclusively, Eggman still stomps. Metal Sonic in the games dominates, and again Specter is the only challenge - primarily because the Pipotrons are no longer a factor.
