You should make your own rp so you can have Z be the main villain, I'll admit that you're one of the best roleplayers so far, and helped make this roleplay what it is. I have NOT SLEPT AND INTEND ON STAYING UP ALL NIGHT AGAIN, so I'm not in the best mood, and I'm not the best person to be talking to, so, fuck me I guess. You may have not insulted me directly, but I would rather you insult me than you attack my plots and characters, especially when they're on the scale that they are. I understand you don't like Z, but he gives a central motivation and massive threat when Zeliyis isn't doing anything. Because aside from Cecil he's really not doing anything whatsoever... I introduced Z to give us a way forwards in the RP, and the RPers went along with it. But he's a big threat. When Z is finished, the majority of our cast will be united, and thus prepared to take on whatever Zeliyis is doing.

So long as we're currently speaking our minds, I honestly can't really take Zeliyis seriously as a villain about him. So far as we're concerned, he's just a name and voice with an army behind him. He supposedly has these incredible powers or whatever. But that doesn't make a villain for me. Personality and actions do. And seeing as you haven't even told Burble and I, the two controlling three of his four lead generals, what he's actually like, I find it hard to consider Zeliyis interesting. Especially with how generic his representation has been so far.

Alright, I'm going to throw my hat into the ring for that last debate.
I agree with Comic.
Having a lower tier character doesn't make them USELESS when compared to higher tier characters. In a series like Dragon Ball maybe, but that's because Dragon Ball is essentially a power flexing context.
For example?
JoJo's Bizarre Adventures - Part 2: Battle Tendency.
I talked about this earlier when I brought up the Pillar Men. The Pillar Men are STUPIDLY overpowered. Any Dragon Ball character we have would fall to them. Yet they were beaten by Joseph Joestar, even when Kars became the literal definition of the perfect lifeform.
That's because Joseph, while technically being a weaker fighter, is smart and used strategy (as well as a good old dose of Hamon, aka ripple energy) to kill them all. Aside from Perfect Kars, who he kind of just blasted into space.
Point is, with enough time, strategy and equipment, almost any character can beat almost any character. Could Cosmo defeat Goku? I'm not going to be that crazy. But given the situation and circumstances, I'd argue YANG could.
What matters most is the mentality of a character, in my eyes. Depending on how they think, their fighting style and weaknesses can change completely.

Eh, from what I've seen most JoJo villains get beat due to plot contrivances more than anything (Kars entire thing and Jotaro beating Dio by learning Time Stop because....reasons.)

I'll just shut up and say yeah sure with the point, even if I think it is still an exaggeration. We'll see how it effects the plot going forward.

Tl;dr: Z is an asshole who's stealing time from my main villain, and is gonna take 3 years to get rid of, so I'm using Cthulhu to put the other villains in their places, period.

Well to be fair my villain's intro was to give your main villain some spotlight given that he had been a non-presence to this point. Troubling I get Cthulhu for my efforts XD

uh, interesting. okay, i'll just throw in my two cents, i suppose.
Z and the Marseille arc is what really got people interested in this RP in the first place. due to Eevee taking over the non-existent plot at that point and giving it sustenance allowed others to get ideas, hence me with Gaster and Jack, or Shen with Specter and so on so forth. i don't like Z, personally, but that's the point. i'm taking the same approach with Jack, a powerful antagonist that you aren't supposed to like, but so far Z will have more involvement than Jack, who's mostly around to wreak havoc, as he's constantly done that throughout the four or so years he was an active villain in Homestuck before getting completely overshadowed by the Condesce, Lord English and other Jacks.
anyway, Eevee pulled this RP out of the mud and gave it some life to actually manage to become interesting, because whatever was happening before he came in was, well, to be frank, a hell hole. the characters were everywhere, the plot was non-existent and there was a clear lack of motivation from all roleplayers before Eevee made a plot out of it.
i think we shit on Eevee and Z too much, because without his intervention, this roleplay would have died long ago.

there are 21 pages worth of roleplays made on this site, and it wasn't until page 11 that Outcasts managed to be the first ever roleplay on this site to finally break the 20 page limit that no other RP managed to surpass, and then Outcasts took it and soared to 203 pages. Three out of five of the largest roleplays on this site are currently active, two of which are dead (both of them being Outcasts).
this was... pretty cool to go back and see what Charms was at first. It's interesting to see how far the site has come, and i gotta say, i really hope Fiction can surpass at the very least Outcasts 2.

I'm not sure if that makes it better. Digimon is a horribly inbalanced franchise when it comes to its power levels despite having an evolution system like Pokemon. And its top tiers are stupidly stronger than what the bulk of the setting has to offer.

digimon is always trying to have a flexing contest with pokemon, though it always escalates to digimon pulling its dick out and waving it around, claiming it has a bigger one, while pokemon keeps its pants zipped up and everyone respects him for it, while getting annoyed with digimons sad and ludicrous attempts at being better than pokemon.
moral of the story is that digimon sux ass lel

Comparing Pokemon to Digimon is the equivalent of comparing a loaf of fresh bread to a tower of moldy bread.

speaking of big fights...
there's gonna be a Carnage Dust v Chara 1-1, a Doomslayer v Chara fight 1-1, and probably a multi-fight against Chara before we get the classic Sans v Chara fight toward the end of her arc.
another thing for big fights is Jack. as powerful as he is, anybody could really fight him and hold their own. Jack's not very creative, and not exceptionally skilled either. i'm not saying Dipper stands a chance, but despite the glaringly obvious tier difference, Ezra could hold her own against Jack.
anyway, one big fight against Jack i have planned pits Bro and Sans against Jack, and i'd love for more characters to enter this future brawl, if you're interested.
