For Madame Pivoine, the founding mother of the city in the then-never-mapped Southern Kalos, her wish was to have a place to educate future generations about the wonders of the creatures known as Pokemon... ...

Hello all~! It's me, Hisseki.
This is a Pokemon Trainer Academy RP, set in the fanmade Gracerise City in Southern Kalos. Trainers far and wide send their children here to learn about Pokemon, about their capabilities, about their grandeur, about how to properly raise them, and about how they are sure to be your best friends when you set out on your Pokemon journey, be it to be a Trainer, a Breeder, a Coordinator, a Performer, or anything your heart desires!
THIS IS THE DISCUSSION THREAD. THE RP THREAD IS HERE.
As with every RP, this has a set of rules that must be followed.
- Obviously, follow the standard Pokemon RP Rules (Here's a link if you haven't read them. They are super important, and there's a reason they are here!)
- This RP will have a limited number of spots and will be a turn-based RP. I might make exceptions when it comes to people joining, but that is a very low chance. If you want to join, make a response telling me this before spending time making a character, only to find your spot has been taken.
- This RP is turn-based. If you must skip your turn, by all means, that is fine. Be sure to notify the others via this thread so the next person may respond. There will be a 5-day time limit for responses. If you do not respond within 5 days of the last response, your turn will be skipped. This number may change, I'm a bit flexible on that, but I am not removing this time limit.
- Responses should be at least two paragraphs worth. They don't have to be novels, but a few sentences won't cut it. If your response is only dialogue, then either find some way to add some other details or just leave it as is. Dialogue only posts should not be common, however. Not against the rules, but not every post.
- Just because this is set in Kalos doesn't mean your partner can't be from elsewhere. Kanto to Alola, baby~! Any one you're wanting, that's the one you're getting~!
- That being said, this is an academy for those just starting out, those who wish to start, or those who have started and aren't very far, not for veterans in Pokemon traveling and companionship. Your partner cannot be something evolved. For example, a Bounsweet or a Seviper would be fine partners, considering they are not evolved/don't evolve. However, a Bronzong or a Grotle would not work, as they are both evolved Pokemon.
- ... ... Also no Megas... or Z-Moves... kay?... Kay.
- It is already stated in the Pokemon RP Rules, but I just want to emphasize. No legendaries or mythicals. None at all. Also, if you REALLY want a shiny Pokemon THAT badly, ask me via PM. I may say no, and you should be willing to accept that.
- Just because this academy if for those starting out their Pokemon adventures, one might assume they need to make their characters 10 or 11 (or 15, in the case of Bill and Rosa from BW2... I think... don't quote me on that.) This, however, is not the case. You don't have to make your character 10 or 11. They can be anywhere from 10 to even 18, 19, or 20! They can even be a bit younger than 10! This being said, however, be reasonable with your character's age. A three-year-old from Johto is not going to be sent without a parent to stay at an academy in Kalos with - by comparison - older people.
- There will be NPCs. Unless specified by me, these NPCs are under my control. Please don't puppeteer them. Also, if you have an idea for an NPC that isn't already existing (say you have an idea for a class and that class needs a teacher or something,) PM me with the idea by filling out the character form. If I like it, it will be included as a character that the person who had the idea can control.
- Try to include everyone, this should be a given. I myself may be guilty of this crime, but I would honestly hate to see someone drop out of this RP because their character is being flat out ignored.
- If I refuse your character application, I will give a reason as to why. Rather than getting frustrated or thinking that you blew your one and only chance, relax and reread my post. That reason why I refuse your character will most likely - if not definitely - be fixable. If you sincerely wish to participate, please simply fix it... and don't blow a fuse.
- Character romance is approved, and even encouraged! That being said, nothing over-the-top. Think of the children, people... think of the children.
- No gore. No death. No bloodbaths. Not gonna tolerate that. This is a Pokemon RP, not a Fallout or AoT/SnK RP. Injuries are fine, I guess, just don't go overboard with it. Again, think of the children. (If you got this far, then in the final section of the character app, answer this: What is the one and only ability Cherubi can know?)
- Please keep swearing to a minimum. I'm fine with it personally, but two things are causing me to put this here. One: I don't want a character swearing like a sailor. Think of the children... again... again. Two: I don't want the mods to be angry with you or myself. Rule of thumb, if you have to ask yourself "Would Stellar be mad if I said this?" then chances are you should re-word it.
- These rules are open to modification if I need to change something. I will notify everyone if a rule must be changed.

Nickname(s): He is referred to as Dr. Sterl by some due to his vast knowledge on Pokémon care when it comes to surgery and such.

Personality: David tends to be more on the cautious side, as he is steady like a Squirtle when it comes to work. He tends to be rather critical when it comes to mistakes, since mistakes are the bane of his life. He often attempts to do work when no one is around, since he is afraid that others may mess things up for him.
Appearance: David stands at a modest height of 5'2", as he has short, black hair that is as straight as a linear equation that one would typically see in their everyday geometry homework. He has light brown eyes, fair skin tone, and some small freckles on his cheeks. In his casual attire, Davis wears a tan fedora with a one piece 1920s era raincoat that goes over his green camp shirt and brown short sleeved trousers. He has on black leather boots that are also lace-on. When in emergency situations however, he can often be seen in his red scrubs outfit with his pale red surgeon mask that covers his mouth and nose.
Hobbies: He reads his book that he carries around and also plays with his Axew a lot; or at least tries to get him to anyway if he has not been too upset from someone harassing him.
Likes: He likes to treat other injured Pokémon and attempt to help solve their problems if he happens to come across any. He also appears to love sweets, though it does still have a limit on the scale as to how sweet it can be.
Dislikes: He detests on sour food since it can often give him a stomachache, while it may also even have other effects if consumed in large quantities. He despises battling against other trainers since he hates seeing other Pokémon becoming injured.
Goal: He wants to study more on the art of medicine and to also expand his branch to the psychology of Pokémon to better understand why his quirky Axew behaves in a certain pattern.

Ability: Rivalry (The Pokémon's potency of attacks is increased when attacking other Pokémon of the same gender, but it is reduced when it is attacking other Pokémon of the opposite gender however.)
Appearance: Axew's body is in a shade of modest purple, which includes his tapered tail. The horn on his head and the ovals around his eyes are now gray, as his tusks are yellow. The collar-like marking around his neck is dark purple, which gives off a representation of utmost malevolence when seen from a distance.
Personality: Axew has a very short temper, as he often uses force when it comes to dealing with his problems. He is very aggressive and his hot headed nature can often times steer him into trouble and more fights. He likes to have things his own way and as a result, this leads him to having extreme tensions with the authorities. He can be rather silly at times, since he has an obsession with putting his hand in his mouth; especially when no one is looking.
Backstory: Most of his past had been unknown due to the vague amount of records that are at him at this time. The only known thing about him before he was befriended by his trainer is that he allegedly escaped from an unknown laboratory after what he did to the leader of Team Plasma. (More on this will be revealed in the roleplay.)

Personality: Axew has a very short temper, as he often uses force when it comes to dealing with his problems. He is very aggressive and his hot headed nature can often times steer him into trouble and more fights. He likes to have things his own way and as a result, this leads him to having extreme tensions with the authorities. He can be rather silly at times, since he has an obsession with putting his hand in his mouth; especially when no one is looking.
Backstory: Most of his past had been unknown due to the vague amount of records that are at him at this time. The only known thing about him before he was befriended by his trainer is that he allegedly escaped from an unknown laboratory after what he did to the leader of Team Plasma.
