Name: Azul Hartley
Gender: Nonbinary (they/them)
Age: 12
Appearance: Azul stands at 5ft tall, although they tend to look less than that since they rarely stand straight. They have messy dark brown hair that reaches their shoulders, and matching dark eyes. Azul's outfit consists of a green and white striped shirt, dark blue baggy pants and on top of that, a pastel blue sweater that fits them a tad too big. The laces of their black running shoes are somewhat messed up from how many times Azul has stepped on them. A gray newsboy cap sits on top of their head.
Personality: To put it kindly, Azul is a scaredy cat. They get startled easily, jumping at almost any loud noise, and are a bit awkward around people, especially new people. They don't have high confidence and their mood quickly goes down when they think they've made a mistake. Nonetheless, they are a very caring person towards people and pokémon alike, and will do their best to support their friends in any way they can. Azul can be a bit clumsy at times, which often leads to them getting lost and/or tripping over their own feet.
Reason for Travel: Azul's parents encouraged them to travel, saying it will help them become a bit tougher. Azul just wants to travel, catch as many pokémon as they can, and maybe travel to other regions as well.
Hometown: Pewter City

Azul's mom is from Johto, she used to learn how to make pokeballs from Kurt. Because of this, Azul's backyard has apricorn trees and she sometimes makes special balls for them.
Thanks to Azul's mom's hobby, Moony is in a moon ball (if that's okay with you).
Azul should wear glasses, since they are quite short-sighted, but they have a bad habit of misplacing them or forgetting to wear them.
When they were younger, Azul got lost on Mt. Moon and couldn't find their way out. They ended up wandering deep in the cave and got attacked by an angry Paras, Moony eventually found them and helped them get out. The experience however left them with a still noticeable scar on the right leg, a grudge against Paras, and a small fear of the dark.

Personality: Amare is a very kindhearted person. She is often extremely kind, caring and always tries her hardest to help - people love her for it. Yet somehow, she is extremely self-conscious and gets embarrassed by the smallest of things. She becomes more confident if there are more people around, because she thinks that people might not notice her common mistakes if they're distracted with other people. She tries to blend into crowds because of this, making her seem like a very generic person.
Reason for Travel: She isn't too great at anything else, so she thought it would be best just to be a trainer.

Backstory: Amare was originally one of the few who lived in Mahogany Town in the Johto region, but when she was 4 her parents one day decided that they wanted to live somewhere more populated, so they moved to Celadon City in Kanto. As a parting gift, Pryce gifted Amare a Swinub which is one of the only memories of her hometown, along with a 'crystal' that her only friend in Mahogany Town gave her. Really, it was just a nicely shaped rock that tricked their little minds into thinking it was a crystal, and now she wears it on a choker.

Not a dumb question at all! I would prefer that we keep it to the basic eeveelutions, but if you must I suppose it’s alright. Other than that, your character looks good, so you’re accepted.

This roleplay just deemed that it began to become a little bit overwhelming the longer I waited to do a second post and now that there are a lot of people it just makes me even more overwhelmed. So sorry to have to say that I'm not doing it anymore!

Appearance: Ayula stands at 4'9, with a somewhat tanned skintone and amber coloured eyes. She's got shoulder length black hair with green and purple streaks in, and a circular birthmark just above her right knee. Her typical choice of clothing is a lime green hooded poncho that goes down to her chest (plus a beige t-shirt under it. She's not weird.), as well as a knee length purple skirt. The black boots she wears are adorned with small green ribbons.
Personality: Aloof, yet rather self conscious. Ayula doesn't really get most trends or facts, due to them being 'as complex as a Litten's temper' and is often the black sheep of the flock when it comes to putting danger in her face. She'll never directly flee without Rhombus letting her know she needs to, and even then she remains calm and upbeat all the time. I wouldn't ask, because I don't know.
Reason for Travel: Ayula's family had came to Kanto for a few-months vacation and this league seemed so different from back home that Ayula couldn't not convince her parents to let her go have some fun while they relaxed.

Personality: Murphy is a usually quiet guy, who rarely raises his voice and isn't very fond of conflict. Despite this however he is fairly skilled at battling. He is pretty shy from living mostly by himself for many years. He likes to sing and read books and has a fear of raccoons. He is gay and has some trust issues and prefers the company of Pokémon over people.
Reason for Travel: Nothing else for him to do

Backstory: Born and raised in Lavender town he was loved by his parents and neighbours and he was happy. But when his parents died in an accident when he was 9 and not wanting to go to an orphanage or a foster home he ran away and began to wander the Kanto region. Pretty early on into his wandering he ran a foul of a group of thugs who were out looking to find Pokémon and decided that he was easy prey to rob. He was saved and protected by Munchlax who became Murphy's best friend and partner. He continued to wander the region, battling people as he went and becoming better at it. He got a Eevee as a gift from a trainer he had beaten and the two became close friends. Around the time he turned 14 his Munchlax evolved and he became an even better trainer, he also decided he wanted to evolve Eevee as well and opted to find a thunder stone to do so.

I don’t want your character to be Rank 4 in the World Coronation Series, as that just seems highly unrealistic to me, especially considering he is still merely a teenager. If you could change that to something else, like, he’s challenged the Elite Four before, and lost to the champion, or something more realistically accurate, that would be great. Also, your grammar seems a little inconsistent and off. Would you be okay with writing a paragraph of your roleplay format for me to look at, so I can determine if I let you join?

If you’re battling a trainer that is not officially claimed by a member, feel free to control them! For example, I don’t own the trainer Liam, nor Brock for instance. When battling them, you can control what they say and do, as well as how the battle goes. Obviously, don’t make specific characters with a personality, like gym leaders, members of the elite four, etc. act out of character.
