Lily was a bit disappointed at kai for ending his attack, she opened her mouth with water falling out of it and she coughed the rest up “thanks a lot, I wasted a bit of my chakra.” Yusa just went quiet while steam came from his mouth and whispered to himself “what a waste of time” he said with disappointed.

Shura scathed his head in impatience. "Now if we finally got this sorted out we should get going." He said. "We wasted enough time and energy here already." He added. "The more we stand around the less chance we have to catching up with Orochimaru."
Shiho walked on ahead and saw that Takato. "Hey there." She said with a wave.

Takato had been focused on observing Kai and the others while they discussed finding some guy named "Kiro" that he had been oblivious to Shiho's arrival as it nearly startled him but he managed to keep himself from letting out a gasp before he placed his index finger over his lips to make a "shush" motion to the girl.
"I know this is gonna come off as rude, but I need you to use your inside voice. Keeping an eye on this Kiri-guy who caused a ruckus. Now it seems he and a few others in there are forming some team." Takato explained with a whisper of his own as if to demonstrate the tone he'd ideally like her to match.

As always she wasn't quite sure if she agreed with Kaia's ideas but she had no particular reason to deny them and thus chose to just go along with whatever he'd just said. Hence she merely smiled and nodded in agreement with Kai's words. She didn't quite consider herself honorbound, and in fact she even approved of Kiro's decisions to a certain extent, but it was best to let Kai think as he pleased.

Kai looked toward Sagiso’s side of the room, realizing he had forgotten to take down the restricting wall between her and the exit. He gave a nod before make a gesture toward the ice wall as it began to melt down, trickling down to the floor until it was just a slush pile of water and little ice.
“I take you as a woman of your word. we shall get this search party under way. Shura, you will be coming as well, correct?”
He figured more insights about Kiro in the team, the better. He didn’t care about him personally, but Shura would prove a strategic asset, one that at least Sagiso could trust. No rouge elements. Perfect.

Harmony saw his targets on point “ok distraction comes first, but than.....” he formed a handsign “Release!” The explosive tag on the floor would explode, blowing dust into the air. Harmony used his sharingan and thought to himself “hopefully dad is ok, don’t want to trouble him when I get back.”
Azumi cursed when the explosive tag on the floor they moved around exploded out of the blue as she immediately pulled out umbrella out and began to scan the area. Given neither she nor Reaver had been anywhere near the tag someone else had to set it off which meant that indeed they were not alone.
"Reaver, we have company." Azumi said matter of factly as a large amount of smoke filled the air. Seems whoever attacking aimed to use it to obscure their position. Yasu put a hand on the back of his head. To be honest, he didn't feel like meddling in the affairs of other villages... but if Tomiko and Madoka were going to... Guess there was really only one choice, not that he minded if it was to help his friends.

Reaver grumbled, the explosion already past him. He sighed, Putting away another part of the reaver suit he was repairing. While the reaver suit wasn’t repaired fully, he was still able to use some of it’s attachments as a weapon. He had fixed the joints in one or two attachments, so he had decided to bring them out. He brought out a long katana and a sharp, ridged axe. His scrawny stature wouldn’t normally allow him to wield such heavy weapons, but his metal manipulation compensated for that.
Using the two weapons, he manipulated them to jump for him, the axe and katana both being used as crutches of sorts as well as weapons. He kept his eyes peeled for his attacker as well as for any other traps

Now that Taiyo had Raiku on his side, he felt comfortable going through with this, but then again, two of them wouldn't be the best team out there.
"Raiku, I'm gonna look for more team members, you can do the same if you want to," He waved to his friend and began his hunt for other teammates.

Harmony was surprised to see the clone behind his back, he moved his scabbard up to a block position, still taking damage in the process. Harmony rolled to the side and deactivated his sharingan and added lightning to his sword, he went to slash the Azumi clone. “There’s something I have in my mind right now.....”
"Excellent! Then let's go!" Tomiko said with a smile as she moved to the Genin area with Madoka and hopefully Mori & Yasu in toe as they entered the area and made a b-line for the pink haired girl that Madoka said was her friend. Tomiko naturally ignored the curious states as a group of foreign ninja moved to Sakura, Aisha & Kenji before Madoka walked up to Sakura.
"Hey Sakura." Madoka said with a smile as the Konoha-nin turned to Madoka and offered a smile to her Suna friend.
"Oh hey Madoka. What are you doing here? I figured that you'd have left the village by now." Sakura said as both Kenji & Aisha eyed Madoka and her group curiously. Aisha took it one step further as she began to sniff Tomiko, Yasu & Mori...and Tomiko, unsure of what to do, moved her hand out to pet Aisha which caused the wild Inuzuka to eye her with a mild glare as Tomiko pulled her hand back and gave a sheepish grin.
"S-sorry."
"Indeed, our lord Kazekage even made the call for that. But I take it you are about to do something big here and well...I can't leave a friend hanging. I want to help, as do my friends." Madoka explained as Sakura seemed to smile at that, almost touched as she quickly turned to Kenji.
"These are my friends Kenji and...Aisha!" Sakura said as she took note of Aisha invading Tomiko, Yasu & Mori's personal space. Aisha moved back over to Sakura & Kenji as Madoka decided to introduce her party as well.
"These are my friends. Tomiko & Yasu. And while I've just met him, this one is Mori and old friend of Tomiko's." Madoka said as she introduced her group and Tomiko gave a wave to them.
"Sup, and yeah. We're ready to help." Tomiko said but Sakura took note of Tomiko's injured arms and frowned in response.
"I-I appreciate the support. But those arms are of no use in a mission. Especially one as dangerous as this." Sakura explained as before Tomiko had a chance to object Madoka stepped in.
"Actually, that is part of why I am here. Tomiko...is a stubborn one...."

"You know its true. Anyway she won't just let me go. So I have an idea to fix her arms...for the short term, but I need your help."
As Madoka explained her idea, Kenji moved over to Yasu & Mori with his arms crossed.
"So, what's your story?" Kenji asked the pair.

The clone frowned as it jumped back while it tried to get out of the range of the lightning sword before it opened its umbrella and fired dozens of senbon at Harmony. During this, the real Azumi observed from above as she took note of two figures within the dust cloud that appeared to be in battle.
"Reaver! Down below, in the cloud to your left!" Azumi said as she yelled the position of the two figures to the best of her ability to her partner while she hung in the air on her umbrella.

Upon Azumi shouting out where they were, Reaver looked over in the direction, and found the two figures fighting in a dust cloud. One had the silhouette of Azumi, so no doubt her clone had found the intruder. Reaver gleaned as he thought he had the chance to obtain yet another trophy.
Hehehe....well now, perhaps I can gain another one before going back to the rain eh? I’m sure no one would miss this scumbag.
He took his katana and hurled it toward the dust cloud, the Katana would flying like a sawblade, whirling with his metal manipulation as he lunged in for a kill with his Axe.

Harmony blocked himself with his sword and scabbard and ducked still getting hit with some senbon sin his arm, activating his sharingan at the same time. He saw the sword coming and ducked and looked at the direction of the sword “so there their huh, very clever falling into one of my traps” he made a hand sign with his right hand “release!” The kunai in behind reaver with a explosive tag, he made a jutsu before he did his hand sign “thunder style: thunder” his left hand glowed and shot Thunderbolts at the Azumi clone.
Shura walked pass Kai and glanced at him while passing him. "Of course I am, I want to keep an eye on you." He said before heading to the shed and stocking up on equipment. He the looked at Sagiso and nodded. "Agreed, we should get going so Orochimaru doesn't get too far ahead." He said.
Shiho nodded towards Takota. "Ok, but the conflict has already been resolved, they just walked out and are about to leave." She said with a quiet voice.

Reaver hasn’t noticed the explosive kunai behind him, but as the explosion was taking place a little ways behind him, he broke off one side of the axe’s blade with his bending, and spread it across his back, creating a metal covering. As the tenants of the explosion hit, the metal helped protect him from any serious damages, even though most of the metal was cracked and broken by the time the explosion was finished.
He was propelled even faster toward Harmony as a result, albeit not in the fashion he wanted, but it worked. The katana he had flung earlier hadn’t stop spinning like a fan, whirling back around like a boomerang and came back to hack at harmony while he was weaving the justu combined with his axe slash.

What would a Xeno know of such things? They have no souls after all, just mindless killing machines that breed more and more of the menaces...

Lily grabbed him “wait we gotta go in groups!” Lily went up to fujiri with a smile, “so do you want to be in a group together?” She said holding on to Yusa, who was trying to escape her grasp.

They hadn't even stepped out of the Hyūga compounds and Shura and Kai were already arguing...Sagisō felt like a babysitter. Heaving a sigh, she picked up a bag of smoke signals. She stopped for a moment to converse with the Hyūga next to the warehouse. According to him the teams that had already left had agreed that their night rendezvous point would be marked by a bright purple smoke signal, it would be visible from several miles away. They'd also already decided that a crimson red smoke signal would signify that someone had found not just traces of the sound, but had confirmed the presence of at least one or more sound ninja. The teams would scatter in all directions and then converge in the direction of the smoke signals.
Returning to her group she first looked at Kai, and then Shura. She waved goodbye to Furījia before calling out, "Alright Team Sagisō, we're setting out!" With that, she rushed out of the compounds before either of her companions had a chance to complain.

Smiling at Lily, Furījia responded while throwing a teasing glance towards Yusa, "Glad to have you, but I think one of us really doesn't want to be here." She giggled at his struggles to get away from Lily and then while blinking, she questioned "would you mind getting the smoke signals?"

"Well, don't hold out on us. Who are these candidates you speak so highly of? Replacing the famed Yellow Flash, even temporarily, is no easy feat. That's without considering the current situation which will require the Hokages immediate attention."
Picking up the tea cup by her side, Hinagiku's fingers gently closed around the cup's length, while her remaining arm supported the tea cup by its base. She brought the beverage to her mouth and took a sip of the aromatic liquid.

Azumi observed from above the cloud and noted both an explosion that blew away some of the smoke and the fact one of the figures within the cloud vanished which she presumed was her clone. Azumi glided over the spot that figure vanished and dropped down into the cloud.
Once she entered, landing next to the puddle of her clone, she was able to see Harmony and used her folded up umbrella and aimed to deliver a bone breaking strike that was targeted at his left side and ribs. Azumi hoped to catch Harmony off guard and take him down with a swift strike or at least open him up for Reaver to strike.

Mori recovered from the shock that the wild Inuzuka gave him by sniffing him and looked at the Leaf genin, wary of any moves that he might make. He wasn't a part of the Third Great Shinobi War but that doesn't mean that he didn't know that their respective villages were at war not too long ago.
"My story of being here is her." Mori said whilst nodding at Tomiko. "I will protect her if needed as her future is linked to mine, for that reason I can't fail her." Mori did his best to make his reason for being here clear but not giving too much away that might work against him in the long run.

Kai flipped around from Shura when he heard the group name. His mask hid his face, but somehow his emotions seemed to be easy to tell even while wearing it. Annoyance, frustration, and disgust.
“What...? How egotistical to name a team after yourself. It’s not like you are the team leader after all.” He said waltzing up in front of her. “The name is ‘The Mist Recovery team’, as that is our primary objective.”
Kai wasn’t going to let some half breed command the entire unit with her self centered philosophy, he had other pressing concerns. Stepping to the front of the team like he was taking charge, he used a Senbon as a pointer.
“We should start by the cave system where you had fought Reaver, I will be able to piece together where they had went from there.”

Growling in annoyance at being interrupted before she could leave before Kai interrupted, she gave Takato a death glare. However, she was having none of Kai's arguments, "Actually, I am the team leader, we're in my clan, and it's a team you're a part of because I invited you." She paused after making her points very matter-of-factly, and then with a smug, shit-eating grin plastered onto her face she gloated to the mist ninja, "besides...You're too late! I already registered us as team Sagisō."

Growling in annoyance at being interrupted before she could leave before Kai interrupted, she gave Takato a death glare. However, she was having none of Kai's arguments, "Actually, I am the team leader, we're in my clan, and it's a team you're a part of because I invited you." She paused after making her points very matter-of-factly, and then with a smug, shit-eating grin plastered onto her face she gloated to the mist ninja, "besides...You're too late! I already registered us as team Sagisō."

Kai swerved over to her so fast you could have sworn you heard his neck crack. He leaned in toward her with a deadly serious aura around him.

Shura listened to Sagiso exclaim their team's name. "Team Sagiso? Meh I don't care." He thought with an unimpressed expression. He then turned to Kai whining and face palmed and groaned with an annoyed tone. "Geez, this guy is really getting on my nerves." He thought. "DO you want to find your friend or not? If you do then stop complaining and let's get on with the mission!" Shura shouted towards Kai with a frustrated tone. He then looked at Takota. "Who are you to barge in other people's business?" He said with the same 'done with this shit' tone.

After looking through the large crowd of Leaf-nin, Taiyo found nothing but fodder genin who didn't cover his or Raiku's strengths, whatever they were. The last resort, within reason of course, lied on in a little known place known as the Hyuga mansion. Once the building was in sight, the Leaf genin ran to a tree and scaled it in a few seconds. Then it was a matter of a few skilled jumps until he landed in the arms of talented ninja.

"Could we go now sir?" Tsuki asked her clan leader politely, punching Seiun in the face. She winced at the minor shock it sent down her fists, unsccoustumed to the equal and opposite reaction. She tried to hide her pain, but was rather bad at it, anyone could have noticed it.

“Don’t sully your hands, young one.” The head of the Yuki said to Tsuki. “Go wash them, you don’t know what he has touched.”
He turned his attention back to the attacker in chains. He bended the ice crystals all around him to form a prison of ice mirrors on all sides around him in a cube formation. He was going nowhere any time soon.
“Then as a Xeno, you are going to be tried and convicted according to our clan’s laws. Everyone, move out!”
The clan mobilized yet again, onward to the mist village.

“Don’t tell me what to do, Xeno swine.” Kai said instinctively, dismissing the animal. “But I do believe we should mobilize team mist to the cave system now, where it all began. Let’s go, keep up.”

Lily giggled a bit at furijia’s teased to her brother “we can just use my brothers if you want, he has a whole bunch of them with him” Yusa just grunted “yeah in case I was the leader, not some lead back” Yusa said with retort “and yes I don’t want to be here” he said blushing from the tease. “Why did I get dragged into this....” he thought.
Shura sighed as he watched Kai run off. "Its been quite a while since the incident at the cave system, I doubt we'll find anything there but I guess it can't hurt to check if there is some form of clue there." He said to himself quietly. He then glanced at Sagiso. "Come on, we can't let him run off on his own." He said.

Giving Shura a blank stare, one that slowly morphed into another one of her smug grins, she replied, "What are you talking about? He's not part of our village is he?" Twisting Kai's earlier words to her own benefit she pointed out that since he didn't officially qualify as a member of the team she wasn't required to treat him like one. Turning on her heels, she gave Takato an ominous and predator smile, "Kai, you've been replaced! Well, officially at least. Welcome to team Sagisō...errr, who are you?"
At that moment she seemed to have remember he spoke about Azumi, and it wasn't exactly with the tone one used when referring to a complete stranger. Clearly, he'd known her from somewhere. "Well, you can fill me in while we walk, any friend of Azumi's is a friend of mine."
Throwing another smug grin at Shura and the departing Kai, she teased, "If he's as good a hunter-nin as he says then he'll catch up." Pausing briefly, she considered another option, "You could also go with him if you'd like?" Judging from what she'd seen, Shura would hardly choose the second option, but even if he did it wouldn't matter too much. Although so far she'd only told Kenji, the Hydrangea for which she was named after did represent pride. Now that there were no hostages at stake, did Kai really think her pride was lower than his? Ha! Laughable!

Scanning her surroundings briefly, she spotted the team composed of Kenji, Sakura, Madoka, Aisha, Mori, Yasu and Tomiko. She didn't know who half the people there were, but she knew Kenji and with the addition of the two wolves, she assumed one of them was an Inuzuka. She pointed at the group, more particularly the dogs and declared, "We'll follow them first to find a trail and afterward I can pick it up with my Byakugan."

"Hey guys, did I interrupt something?" He asked rather casually for what was happening, but he wanted to apologize to Furijia for making her cry and he mostly spent his time mentally praying to every known god that Sagiso wouldn't try to murder him.

Harmony pushed himself back with his arms and legs, leaving a tag with his right hand. With his right hand he formed a hand sign “ok I’m not in range of it anymore, Release!” The tag on the tree behind Azumi and the tag on the floor exploded, the wind pushing Harmony ever more back. “Ok I think that’s enough of this, I was just testing myself for now” he said making another hand sign “it was a good fight! I enjoyed it” and disappeared in a flash.
Shura looked at Sagiso when she spoke then turned towards the direction Kai ran off to. "Yeah, you're right. We don't need to follow him." He said out loud. "He's just some outsider who's ordering us around and thinks he's some important figure or some crap." He thought. "He can catch up on his own if he wants to follow us." He added. He then turned to Takato. "So you're with us now I suppose." He said. "We really need to get going, we wasted enough time already."

Kai hasn’t heard the banter behind him, for he had already lept away to find the answers to his problem. He landed right on the outer wall, in a prone position as his eyes scanned across the battlefield that reaver had been a part of. Now that he had gotten new information that Kiro was kidnapped by the sound, he just needed to connect those dots together.
He traced how the battle progressed, that Kiro had left sometime during the battle. He would never have escaped in the center of the crossfire, so that rules out the immediate combat zone. So the only way that he could have possible escaped Injured is... He looked on the other side of the wall, where there was a hole plain as day leading to the surface. Kiro must have escaped from there. Kai only needed to look a bit farther to notice a lot of debris, spider silk, and rock piled up with corpses. And that’s where the sound took him...
He followed his investigation across the wall, stopping when he noticed hundreds of footsteps and impressions in the ground. Now what the hell happened here...? He noticed a slab of rock touching the wall, slanted as if it coasted along it to get down, no doubt where a sound kidnapper took him. It seems this was the primary evacuation point for the Sound’s forces, there are so many foostseps and impressions here to be otherwise. Meaning that they escaped with Kiro in some direction toward this tree line...that’s where most of these footsteps seem to go. Jackpot.

It looked like a petty gangster had just tried to hold up a camp of Navy Seals, and his weapon of choice a butter knife compared to sheer multitude of weapons that'd been aimed at him. Considering the sound had just invaded, the shinobi here were understandably tense, so the boy's blatant interruption, in the loudest of ways, had almost been taken as an assault and he had almost been met with certainly lethal force.Taiyo had clearly broken into the wrong hood.

Shura stared at Taiyo with the same intensity as the rest of the Hyuga when Taiyo kicked open the door and dropped his chain. "Seriously, how many people will just barge in here today?" He shouted, clearly annoyed. He pointed the scythe end of his chain scythe at the Genin. "What do you want!" He asked.
