This would've been my point, but I'm pretty sure he meant to enhance chakra manipulation, which is where the whole Sharingan: Chakra control came from, and that's fine.

Enhancing your own jutsu with the Sharingan is fine, but controlling other people's jutsu with chakra control wouldn't make sense because your chakra isn't in their jutsu. So you'd have no way of controlling it.

The technique is fine with your edits (Even if it being MS would be better). You do not need to change her and you can let her and her brother be Uchiha.

Because Azumi is the wind we of the chunnin exams and has a lot of story we read working up to her, and she’s fighting two Uchiha, I think we are all reasonably curious and excited : )
