Yes, but she'll be doing other training.

Join the training :v

Still got some skinship to develop with Sagisō

I know, but as far as I know what to have her "improve" in per say. She'll be working on Taijutsu (Given that the seal cuts off her chakra and curse mark) but having her learn Gentle Fist seems....weird and impossible. And it's not like they know other styles.

I don't know what skinship means, but I agree they should bond. Even if Tayuya is reluctant.

Since she is a genjustu specialist too, what if she could hit people and the punching would trigger a genjustu as a result?

Nai, just because they main the gentle fist doesn't mean they're incapable of teaching other Taijutsu styles xD.

She wouldn't learn the gentle fist, but they do have genjutsu specialists.

Also, I kinda wished I grouped up Takato with the Hyuga Compound group. But I couldn't think of anything, just needed him to stick to someone like Aisha with Kenji so I don't have more than 6 perspectives to focus on.

I think Kiro could work on Taijutsu, some Kenjutsu, and strengthening his body during the timeskip. Also, since nearly everyone else will be gone in the next arc, would Hinagiku be available for some guidance?

Errrr does he REALLY need more power? He has a curse mark which he still hasn’t used

Not only was he beaten to a bloody pulp by the Yuki, but he is concisered a criminal by the leaf and mist.

........why do the Hyuga Clan have genjutsu specialists? The Byakugan doesn't cast Genjutsu.
Most of the dojutsu are beneficial to genjutsu while generally being immune to visual genjutsu.

The Sharingan increases the power of actual genjutsu with the eye of hypnotism

The Byakugan increases the range of genjutsu

Not quite sure how the Rinnegan interacts with genjutsu, I remember there was a thing Pain did to intimidate Naruto with his rinnegan but I don't think that was genjutsu.

Errrr does he REALLY need more power? He has a curse mark which he still hasn’t used

Tayuya: He literally admitted he is a slave to power and you are shocked he wants more?

Really I'm just trying to have my cast play catch up, though you all race farther ahead and keep moving the line of quality further away XD. We'll see what my tweaks do to help them.

Are you basing this solely off what Kaguya could do? I don't think linking what she could do is reasonable for what a normal Hyuga could or should be capable of.

And my Genjutsu specialists (Sakura & Tayuya) have quite the uphill battle for relevance with these Dojutsu specialists around XD
The Byakugan being able to extend the range of genjutsu was something Hagoromo stated, Kaguya was just the only one to actually do it because the two Byukagan users with any screen time focus on the gentle fist.

Sagisō won't be using genjutsu, though Hinagiku sorta will- though I think I've already explained the way.

Well, it extends to visual genjutsu, and Tayuya uses Audiogenjutsu, hence dojutsu can't really affect her genjutsu.

I thought we went over this awhile ago...

Kiro is not as powerful as he’s hyped to be. The curse mark is out of the question for now. The lightning armor, his only good technique, needs to be completely reworked. Taijutsu and Kenjutsu are just the training any competent ninja would go for. Strengthening his body is to help deal with handling the lightning armor.

As for your second point, are you trying to tell me not only can he not participate in the next arc but now he’s banned from training? :?

Bykaguan is not a godmodding tool. It has limits. It can’t specialize in everything. It had no genjustu altering or expanding effects that we’ve seen. All bykaguan users we’ve seen don’t specialize in it for a reason
It's precisely that a tool, not one for god-modding, but based on its effects it's application can be expanded upon.

Genjutsu is created through disrupting the flow of chakra in your opponent (Something the Hyūga excel at) and that is also the reason why Dojutsu can see through genjutsu, because they can detect that chakra disruption through their eyes.

Well, I've got no particular characters that have dojutsu and specialize in genjutsu so I don't particularly mind your conflict with the idea.

Kiro is not as powerful as he’s hyped to be.

-literally beat Tomiko without even using the Sharingan.
-Not that powerful.

Sure, we'll go with that XD.

I don't care if Kiro trains or not, but I feel you underhype him to just a big degree as I underhype my own cast. Only they actually tried in all their fights so I have more of an excuse to fall back on that.

My cast is just weak as crap, and really if they improve so does everyone else it doesn't really change that. Which is my issue, not Kiro's.

I think that's fine, but I still fear you'll make the Hyuga even worse than the canon Uchiha as far as "expanding" their arsenal.

I'm simply applying their pre-stated abilities with a hint of creativity *shrugs*

Their arsenal hasn't changed, it's just being wielded differently.

Well, again, the Byakugan is just that versatile so I can understand your reservations. My world domination plans won't really come to fruition through the Hyūga clan, I'll leave that to the Mist.

Basically my character math and why even a training arc might not fix them.

Tomiko<Kiro without a Sharingan.

Tomiko<<<<<<<<<<Kiro with Sharingan, incomplete LCM and Curse Mark.

Tomiko with training>(Please god XD)>Kiro without a Sharingan

Tomiko with training<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Kiro with Sharingan, incomplete LCM and Curse Mark and training.

So she improves, but in relation to the other characters...not really XD.

Tomiko is just countered too hard by Kiro currently,

She's not particularly fast and she specializes in a brawler style Earth ninjutsu

Kiro is easily one of the fastest characters, his lightning style removes her Earth defense buff, and the Sharingan renders her Brawling style practically too crude to be a threat.

What you actually need to do isn't to make her stronger but fix the main issue of her concept isn't one that was meant to go up against a character like Kiro.

At the same level given that Kiro's stats are set up to suppress her on all fronts, she's going to appear inferior in every way. She needs to up her speed, or otherwise, find some way to counter his- or anyone's- speed. She will always struggle so long as her character is designed to let light nimble opponents (practically everyone) dance around her.

Problem is even if I have her training address this issue, Kiro is gonna move a tier or two higher with this training meaning the gap would not change at all. And given what a gap it is, that itself is a problem as it will feel that she made no progress at all.

Kiro’s training won’t really be that groundbreaking. He’s with the Hyūga so he might as well up his taijutsu a little. Some kenjutsu practice and just simply strengthening his body. The lightning armor itself is meant to be a progressing power throughout this story, sorta like FBS. Rn it is severely limited, perhaps even damages him more than the target lel

Hopefully Hinagiku can help him work on that...

Even his incomplete Lightning Armor would realistically be too fast to deal with and one shot most characters. My cast especially. The only major fight he used it, vs. Azumi, he deliberately ran in circles just cause you were trying to lose then. It's a game breaker for our cast at the moment.

You either need to up her speed with a supplementary technique;

And this is just for Tomiko... Jacob, you’re fine lel

Summons are also a very effective way to give your character a boost to their current nature transformation or by adding a nature transformation your character doesn't possess but that has good synergy with your character's Natures.

Eg. Hinagiku has wind-natured chakra, and her main summon the fox has fire style.

Presuming I can win matches with whatever I (Already decided) to have Tomiko and my cast learn. All the training, new techniques and stuff doesn't mean nothing if they can't get any wins in the story.

I still think you underhype Kiro to try and make him seem less OP then he actually is. And I think having LCM is a bit much at this stage, but I will try my best with my cast and appreciate all the advice given @kyuukestu

Yeah, this part I can agree with. Back when he first used it, no one really complained so I thought it was fine. It’s still an incomplete version but I understand your concern. It kinda hurts me in the long run since progressing makes it seem like Kiro is getting more op when it’s just him still trying to master the technique.

You need to abuse your advantages, that's how you win fights.

All's fair in love and war. Manipulate the terrain to your advantage, that is precisely earth style's greatest advantage, and throw around jutsu application in your head.

The Ant lion technique is not only an excellent way of manipulating the terrain it's also multifunctional in that it'll one, act as a defense/escape by pulling Tomiko underground, it'll also two act as an offense against anyone closing in on her because they risk being pulled underground as well, and three works as a more battle-suitable alternative to hiding like a mole.

Should you've used the earthen pillar jutsu before that, and taken a defensive approach, then when your opponent closes in on Tomiko you can also turn it into a trap by not only causing the ground to sink in but also to cause the earthen pillars to collapse and box an opponent in.

Earth-style is perhaps the most strategic of all the nature transformations because of it's malleability and focus on changing the terrain to benefit the user rather than as a direct means of offense.

As another example, take the Earth Golem Technique.

Just because canon has large bulky golems does not mean you need to create large bulky golems. Wield it like Shen wields Ice release, and create a variety of creatures to suit your purposes.

Did I not complain about why Kiro knows a Kage signature technique? Cause I think I would have since whining is what I am good at XD

Really though it kinda really screwed Kenji over. As he was meant to have a speed gimmick but with Kiro having even an incomplete LCM on hand that utility is pretty much ruined XD. But I get your plight.

Going underground kinda screwed Tomiko over when she fought Kiro the first time, even if I agree with your point XD

I’m wondering how he could possibly train because he is considered a criminal. And the leaf training their criminals sounds like a really bad idea. Also I never said he couldn’t participate. Your putting words in my mouth.

He’s extremely powerful already. And he hasn’t even used his curse mark stage 1 yet. Seeing as how he hasn’t even used the powers he’s been given, giving him more power just feels off and a tad unbalanced
