And in comes Raiku and wipes the floor with you two, at this point I am not surprised by anything anymore
Eh, honestly, by the time Raiku gets to the Mist it'll be far too late to interfere in any meaningful way. By that point the Mist would've been subtly divided into 2, and an outsider wouldn't really have the clout to create a third faction beneath our noses. At any rate the action's Raiku takes are more likely to be beneficial to me than Shen.

Someone should make a Civil War poster with Mist characters because that is what's gonna happen at this rate

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
lmao, it's simply more likely that Mei will benefit more from anything Raiku does, it'd break character for him to suddenly be buddybuddy with the Yuki or any of the noble clans.

Speaking of which, I need to plant a spy in the Yuki clan

Time to get Soul involved in this scheme :v

Trying to get past Hama with Tsuki would be neigh impossible. And if caught would just stop being her teacher and would problem spark a war of a session. More harm than good for your cause

Oh, after watching some Naruto videos and actually thinking for a bit...

Half of the Leaf's noble clans should be on the verge of rebellion, or just particularly dissatisfied with the village in general, and it's their two strongest clans to boot :v

The Uchiha for obvious reasons, but if you look at the Hyuga incident more closely, they have plenty of reason to be dissatisfied with the Village.

After Kumo signed a peace treatment with the Leaf, they sent their Head Ninja as a diplomat to the leaf, and as we know the head ninja tried to Kidnap a Hyuga (Hinata) and was killed in the process.

Now, instead of doing what canon did; which was Kumo demanded that the Hyuga responsible for the death of their head ninja be sent to them in compensation, and for some reason the leaf buckled and actually did it (Merely replacing Hiashi with Hizashi so that the fate-seal could protect the Byakugan)

Take a moment to notice that; not only did Kumo break their peace treat the day after it was signed, they also got caught try to kidnap a Hyuga, then demanded compensation for getting caught; which the leaf agreed to :v

Can't outright revolt, but the clan as an entity would certainly remember the leaf's stance during the incident.

Ahem. The mist actually followed through.
The main issue with the Mist is that the whole nation is practically backwards: Their social policies are barbaric, They're excessively bellicose; waging wars they don't have the resources to fight, Constantly expand their Military only to have their soldiers defect because of shitty working conditions; their sole solution to this problem is hunting and killing defectors, Which they can't even do with maximum efficiency because they don't even have a system to organize their own ninja. :v

I'm not even sure how the village is still standing.

They should honestly have to suppress peasant rebellions every few years while dealing with harassment from bandit powers formed by their own defected Military.

They should honestly be on the verge of perishing on their own, I don't even understand how they managed to retain their position as a Major power.

They're akin to Ancient Rome into the era of the Byzantine Empire; plagued with problems wrecking their economy, attempting to expand and absorb land they neither have the population to inhabit nor the administrative skins to manage, plagued with bandits formed from their own defected military, and are bordered by powerful (Konoha) and Aggressive (Kumo) foreign powers.

They'd make an excellent analogy to Rome, just minus the actual empire part; the once powerful economy, or really anything else that's a reason for why they've held on for so long.

On one hand, a Byakugan/Sharingan Hybrid is completely terrifying.

On the other hand, I am too curious how one does in a fight that I cannot turn a blind eye to it. I'd love to see Zino personally.

Also I don't like the fact that Shen and Kyuu have their own secret grand plans for the RP domination that makes me feel like second guessing every decision I make for a response XD

They’re the same age xd

Sleep with your eyes opened lol
The walls and doors have ears, you're already on thin Ice.

Well, the Sharingan brings one MS to the Fight... and that's about it. Everything else the Sharingan can bring the Byakugan does better.

What's the real issue is a combination of the Sharingan's abilities with the Hyuga's ability to emit chakra from any chakra point in their body. Imagine if they could cast amaterasu like regular fire style? Or straight up copy what Tayuya's doing and cast Tsukiyomi through Taijutsu. They'd be absolute horrors xD
Don't worry, Taiyo vs Sagiso will definitely happen, he's not going to break into the Hyūga manor, but rather enter in and ask for the strongest person there, which would likely be Sagiso

Hinagiku: Why is this genin challenging me?

Taiyo: Oh, I mean your help is appreciated, but I meant the strongest student here

I sense bias with this comment. Sharingan can read and predict an opponent's body movements to a far greater degree than the Byakugan can and can copy Ninjutsu along with being a better resistant to Genjutsu. The Byakugan has selective advantages, not the other way around.

I have an excuse, I’m the creator of the Rp. I am your god HAHAHAHAHA

The eye of insight is inferior to the byakugan, because it's based on reading the bodily motions of your opponents down to their muscles and reacting to the minute movements. I don't need to explain why the Byakugan is simply better at reading minute movements.

The only difference is that the reaction on the Sharingan's end is autopilot, while a Byakugan user would need to train this skill.

Immunity to visual Genjutsu and Immunity to visual Genjutsu are the same on my book. MS Genjutsu doesn't count because even the Sharingan can't protect you against that. The only example of the Sharingan shaking off MS Genjutsu was Sasuke against Itachi... and that's debatable at best.

The copying ninjutsu I'd hand to you, because while I could certainly argue that 'being able to see the movements of your opponent's chakra down to the slightest fluctuation and then replicating that' shouldn't be too difficult, giving the Byakugan jutsu copying ability would seem too OP no matter how logical the process was.

With that said, I'll change my statement to 1 MS Ability and Jutsu Copying.

I mean...are you sure?

I'd pretty much be TLDR the Sharingan can do almost everything the Byakugan can do, and the additional advantages it has that the Byakugan lacks (Barring kyuu changing its fundamental aspects to be even more OP out of principle) makes it not only better but not even in the same league.
