Can’t the gentle fist cut through chakra? Since it’s still lightning chakra, the gentle should be able to go through I think.

Yea, sorry but if you crippled your own Sharingan with a smoke screen and then ran into close-combat range of Sagisō, I would've she would've viciously wrecked all of Kiro's chakra points. LCM isn't much of an armor, and what little defensive properties it offers are nerfed by Sagisō's wind-style. Without the Sharingan to help him actually dodge her, and having already been rushing into close-combat...well, the result wasn't gonna be pretty.

I feel like you undersell the armor's defensive qualities. And the jutsu in general, but then again you seem to think nothing is really OP so different lenses.

He fought 3 times against the same person he crushes against. Then Madoka, which same, again.

But 2 other fights he won that do not fall here. And he did pretty well against Kenji who had backup and while Zaku had some fatigue despite the elemental disadvantage.

Sure, because Zaku was even or winning the other exchanges when Kenji didn't land a cheap shot with 2+ people helping him in that fight. There was more to that battle then that one exchange.

I have to agree with Kyuu here @Godjacob. Even with my combat-nerd bias deactivated, I can confidently say LCM isn't a defensive power at all.
It may shroud the users in a thin energy cacoon, buts its main function is to increase the users speed, and by extension, there overall physical damaging ability.
The Raikage was a tank all on his own, that's why attacks did so little.

LCM isn't even really a Chakra Mode at all, more so a knock off of chakra modes.

Alright, so addressing the first issue. Kiro can't even be scaled to the Third Raikage. That man fought a tailed best and his only injury was falling on his own arm. He also never got hit by Naruto's Rasenshuriken.

Seconds Topics. Naruto? god wind specialist? Ahem. He's considered the strongest wind-style user by virtue of the Rasenshuriken...that's about it. The Rasengan on a whole is more a grinding, pulverizing force than a piercing one. It's effect on armor is questionable. The Rasenshuriken by virtue of having many tiny blades might be better at piercing, by it does attacks on a cellular level.

I mean it is a substance made out of Kidomaru's chakra. Not to mention Neji had "no issue" cutting through Kidomaru's webbing earlier but this proved to be harder for him.

I just don't see a Hyuga slicing through something like that or say Susanoo like a hot knife through butter as you do.

Susanoo's are too thick on a whole to be sliced through by the gentle fist.

Kiro should out speed literally everyone at this stage with that. Azumi won because Retro gave up IRL and ran in circles with it rather than blitz Azumi.

Well currently, Kiro’s LCM is barely sustainable and if he continues without the necessary tools, the technique won’t go anywhere.

She doesn't need to keep up with it since she can defend omnidirectionally with a wind-chakra infused rotation, or just simple expelling of wind-chakra. As long as she can even vaguely track it she can defend. Same as Sasuke defended against the Raikage despite not being able to physically keep up with him. Any omnidirectional defense means you only need to know when the attack is coming.

Naruto nearly broke the rotation with a basic punch with a tiny amount of Kurama's chakra as a boost. It is not the perfect defense and Kiro can damn sure break it if he set out to try.

pretty sure those were regular rotations. Though strictly speaking rotation goes a sub-sonic speed, so a water shuriken won't be stopping it next time~
