Thats her choice in rp. Katsuo has his diplomatic side, but you were definitely not gonna see it during the Chuunin exams.
Who knows, some day Sagiso may see Katsuo's ideals are even stronger than her own. But who knows.

and Sagisō doesn't have grand ideals per see. Her entire motivation is just doing what she wants, and right now she wants to find a husband. After that is achieved she'll flirt around a bit and then ditch him for like...a year or so. She's quite the fickle girl.

What I meant by rogue though is the more troubling details of grappling with a girl who only wears a half-yukata and bandages.

He retorted, then with overwhelming strength, Katsuo contorted his bound limb and got a vice like grip on Sagiso's shirt collar, disrupting the flow of her strike and offsetting her knee kick, causing it to graze the back of Katsuo's neck rather roughly, forcing his head to turn the left quickly, he was now locking eyes with Sagiso.

Given Sagisō's then attire, only the Sarashi bandages would've been secure enough for him to grab xD

Sagisō's leg, which had grazed past Katsuo's neck, twisted at the joint between her thigh and pelvis, the inside of her knee clenching in a leg-lock around Katsuo's neck.

and then there's also quite a number of ways we can rephrase this sentence lol.

Well, Tomiko has Sagiso (Presuming she joins up here) one on one and Kiro wants Mori. Tayuya & Takato will make double teams and Katsuo is the strongest one to handle said double team.

Team Hina is too stacked for every fight to be a one on one XD

Oh, and as a sidenote, I'll take it that you haven't seen my earlier comment on it, but I'd suggest we not fight next to the beach, because Sagisō will quickly figure out Tomiko's Gaia Release and notice she's absorbing chakra from the ground, then she'll try to force the fight onto the ocean and I'm not so sure how effective an Ocean fight will be for Tomiko.

Tomiko considers Sagiso on that peak of excellence, among the elite and a stand out ninja in every way. If Tomiko is someday gonna be a Tsuchikage to be proud of, if she is one day to make good on her word to Kiro she is gonna have to fight and stand against people of that level. Tomiko desires to test her newfound skills and see how her hard training measured up against someone like Sagiso; to see if she can climb that metaphorical mountain she'd represent to rise to its peak.

Have a flashback in my head to Tomiko's past to tie into this as well.

If she loses but puts in a good fight she'll see it as making progress. Closer but not quite at her own personal benchmark and take it as a learning experience.

She was out of chakra so there wasn't much else she could do. Graciously ignore Sagisō's 0 chakra moves, they didn't exist at the time.

I mean, the most you could pull from that fight to praise Sagisō with is that she was trading blows with Katsuo while blind.

Oh I intend for Tayuya to be Sagiso's hype girl to shit on Tomiko given Tomiko's own effort vs. Kiro (She was with Orochimaru who recruited Kiro & Zaku right after that fight so I argue she watched in secret.)
