Hey everyone. Just wanted to apologize for my absence. I've been really sick and apparently I missed a good chuck of story. I was already seven pages behind. So rather than trying to catch up and throw some half-a88ed attempt at a response I'll just drop out. It's not like I was really in a fight or anything anyways. I've been looking around for information from the Data Books and things like that and trying to filter what sounds plausible to what sounds more like garbage, and I have found a site that hosts the translations of the databooks, but that's more of a side-note to what I actually want to talk about.
The same site does seem to have done their own little compilation of World Lore. It's specifically stated as 'Theories and Worldbuilding' and seems to be a combination of actually cannon data, and their own little theories based on circumstantial evidence. They, for example, have proposed a very compelling theory as to why Obito was able to control Yagura.
I ended up there because I was looking for information on Mei since I need to know what I'm gonna be working with, particularly a few claims of her being able to wield lightning release, which I wasn't too sure of. I've been putting a lot of research into the Mist, since the land of water is more my territory that the land of fire, with my main Oc's background being set there (Sagisō, Lianhua,). I've tried looking up a Terumi clan but, of course, there seems to be nothing of that sort, though oddly enough there are several well-made OC-Terumi Clans, and even more interesting is that a member of one of these clans is named Taiyō and specializes in nintaijutsu. It's a different type of nintaijutsu that FBS, but it was a pretty interesting find all the same. I'll leave the link to his page here; Taiyō.

Hmm...I’d prefer if we would have more development on characters we already have for the moment. Such as you character shiho. I only imagine shiho as being a female shura that appears to fight with him once he’s in a fight. She could use some development
I was gonna introduce Baiyan in this arc...as she'd have gotten word that after they(Nadeshiko) sent their kunoichi to Konoha for the exams she never came back and since Baiyan was already traveling it'd make sense for her to check things out. Then I held off cause I already don't know what to do besides training for Sagisō and adding another character into the mix really isn't helping my situation. Though, if anyone wants to meet her while they're traveling now, then I'm open to that. I have an interest in trying out her fighting style, and I want to actually get into a battle to see what problems I encounter. Preferably a female OC so I don't have to go all out with all my plans to pull a win to avoid Nadeshiko tradition.
I'm still going with the same basic concept of having her arrive at the hidden leaf looking for Sagisō, but she'll arrive after Sagisō has already left.
I was also going to have Furījia make an appearance, since what better way for the Hyūga to show sincerity than for an heiress-candidate to be the one singing. (Working with the idea of a meritocracy the heiress won't be set in stone, but instead the most talented Hyūga will be assigned the status of candidate and the one that prevails, in the end, will be given the true title of heir. {Similar to how eastern empires have many 'princes' and the one to inherit the throne isn't necessarily the eldest, but the Crown prince who's proved himself most capable})
Also, while reading I've come upon the issue of grave robbers, and as a solution (Since I don't want to impose the Main-Branch System) Hyūgas, upon their death, have their eyes removed or destroyed before burial.

Ignoring the first two is already passive enough, any more and we'll have a revolt on our hands. For one outright harming people in broad daylight is forcing Konoha to take action whether they want to or not. The civilians won't sit still if their village proves to be so utterly incapable of defending them.

Drunk Taiyo sounds amazing, I am expecting that he's gonna flirt with either Sakura or Tsunade. Both of them could seriously harm him, just look at Sakura beating a creep

I hate Dojutsu XD. But yeah I do like certain concepts, even if I have a pre-disposed bias against that branch of Kekkei Genkai.
Lmfao, read the abilities first. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th abilities combined are barely on par with the byakugan. I would even say the first four combined would barely equal the byakugan, but I'm not sure how to interpret the first ability.
The fifth ability is Yin-Yang release...and as long as you're not dropping meteors on people it's usually not hyper OP.
Btw Kyuu are you looking for a song for Furijia to sing now?
I joked that someone could have the powers of the Sage of Sixth Paths and you'd think it wasn't OP, but now I have actual proof XD
Eh, I'm obviously not talking about the Sage of Six Path, since what he does is straight up a creation type ability. I think we're talking about different scales here. The Sage of Six paths uses Yin-Yang release and creates the 9 Biju, Madara uses it to drop Meteors, since those are high-end skills, and we've ruled them out, Yin-Yang release would be something akin to Yaomomo's creation quirk, which is versatile, but not really OP (yet).

I don't think we get many examples of "low level" Ying-Yang release. And the fact you ignore the high level stuff exists doesn't mean that they do not and someone with something like that would be stupidly OP. But at this point being OP is the goal more than character or story progression so what do I know XD

Any single concept no matter how meager it may seem is OP when taken to an extreme, people can get very creative. People can get very creative. The only things I rule out as OP are already at god-level in their most meager form, things like Casuality Manipulation, or Authority type abilities, which are practically Omnipotent from the get-go.
Anything else merely has the potential to reach omnipotence.

For example between general views of Super-speed, and Campione's concept of Godspeed, I'd chose godspeed any day. Godspeed doesn't actually influence your 'speed' at all, what it does is, and a paraphrase from memory, Reduce the time it takes to go from Point A to Point B. Essentially, it's a very specific form of time manipulation. So what if you can run a kajillion miles per fraction of a second? You'd never really be able to outspeed a user of Godspeed because they'd reach to 'a Point B', say the sun, from a 'point A', earth, in an infinitesimally small amount of time by simply adding 0's to the right of the decimal point.
They never really have a constant 'speed' because they manipulate is essentially time.
Of course, within the confines of the world, no one is running from America to Europe in one femtosecond even though it's theoretically possible. So it's an OP ability with the extremes simply ruled out.
Stupidly strong abilities are anything like Casuality manipulation, which distorts cause and effect.
Take a few statements with a cause and an effect.
Cause - Wystria thrust her spear forward.
Effect - Kevin is stabbed.
Now invert them
Cause - Kevin is stabbed.
Effect - Wystria thrust her spear forward.
Since Kevin getting stabbed becomes the cause of the event, it must chronologically have come before Wyst thrust her spear. Since he would've been stabbed before he thrust her spear, her spear thrust hence becomes undodgeable because the effect now precedes the cause. This is simply the lowest level of Casuality manipulation that only takes two directly related events. Add even more events and form complex sequences and you have someone who's essentially unstoppable unless confronted by someone with a power that is just as hax.

Using three sequences of cause-effect and manipulating them all you hence have a situation where the cause is 'death' and the effect is the 'attack'. Using the same logic, because his death is the cause it must've happened first and hence you've died before the person has even attacked.
Casuality manipulation is particularly OP because it allows the wielder to dictation events without a Why because why is usually determined by Casuality itself. E.g. You left the stove on and your house burnt down.
Leaving the stove on is the cause, and the effect is the house burning down.
Since it ends up warping everything from time-space, to logic and reasoning, it becomes an insanely BS power.
Though of course, you can also take something as simple as flame manipulation and push it to an unreasonable extreme to create a stupidly strong ability. Since it requires energy to break chemical and atomic bonds (They conversely release energy to form bonds) you'd simply have to magnify the heat of the flame to the point where it forces things around it to enter a state of Heat Decomposition.
Now you have a flame manipulation ability that essentially forces things to break down on the molecular level.
The hax are everywhere :v
What you really need is just people who use abilities reasonably.
I haven't decided, she's likely at the Hyūga mansion since there'd be no reason to carry a genin to face off with the Yuki clan.
Taiyo is getting girls without even trying, and let's be honest. He would make a great sage, he can't be worse than Orochimaru
