In the middle of the Alola Region, chaos has begun as some begin to morph into Pokémon Human hybrids. It’s unknown how this has happened, and how one might transform, causing many to isolate themselves or leave the region, though not for long as travel in and out of the region was swiftly banned due to potential dangers. Many Pokehumans submitted themselves to the hospital in order to help with research, or to try and be cured.

It’s time for my favorite charms pastime! Trying to revive Pokehuman encounters! I’m taking my fourth stab at this idea. There are a few things I’m leaving in the air until we start, I haven’t decided wether or not the player characters are among the first, or in the middle, wether or not to start with the first days or a few months in. I would like to hear what you guys think would make for a better RP. (The main bad guys have been set)

Rules:
1: Pokecharms rules
1.3: I can add rules if something important comes to my attention.
2: Please keep swearing to a minimum.
3: Romance is allowed, but nothing more than a kiss.
7: I can list rules in whatever order I want!
4: No PC killing/capturing of characters without permission first.

I'm not ready to let go completely just yet, new decade, new attempt, new idea. This one might have been said before, but here is another attempt, perhaps the last one.
This is the same premise, Evil team has a serum that transforms humans into pokehumans. Pokehumans are as strong as pokemon.
The change I made is that it is not as exclusive, its been three months after the epidemic, with multiple forms of the serum going around, oral in waterways, injections(Like before), gas, and even a short lived virus(Proven not to be a thing anymore). Some laws for them are in place, others on the way. Although the law and some people treat them as mostly normal humans, racism has also started. (Its around 10%-20% of the population)

Appearance (Human): Juliet has purple eyes and short black hair. She is quite short for her age (around 4'2", 127 cm).
Juliet wears a medium-sized white dress with long sleeves and white sandals with long pestal pink socks.
She has a pink flower on her head that she got in Unova.

Apppearance (Pokehuman):
Juliet's hair became dark grey and she became paler, She became smaller as well (around 3'5", 1.07m).
Juliet's cheeks became yellowish and she now has emolga's ears instead of normal ears, long tail and cape-like wings.

Personality:
Juliet is extremely naive, She is also very shy and gets nervous easily, especially when meeting new faces. she seems to trust pokemons a lot more then people, as she is more cheerful, friendly and confident around them. She also feels a lot more safe near them.
Juliet is also gentle, modest and kind, she is highly curious too.

Moves(1-3):
- Thundershock.
- Tail whip.

Ability: Static.

Pokemon: none currently as she never got her first pokemon. She might get one during the RP though.

Backstory:
Juliet's life wasn't great in unova.
Her parents never had time for her as they were always focused on their work and she didn't have any friends at school.
Furthermore, in the school she was constantly being tricked, made fun of and even physically bullied when she tried to stand up for herself. All because of how naive and little she was compared to the others.
She quickly lost trust in people and became more afraid of them.

While Juliet life in school was terrible, she always went after it to the nearby route and played with the nearby pokemons there, and it always made her feel better.
The wild pokemons were surprizingly friendly and nice, they were good listeners too. And while Juliet could never understand what they are saying she grew attached to them. She even got a pink flower from one of the wild pokemons before she left Unova, she is still keeping it on her head.

Juliet moved to Alola because of her parents' new job, which means they still didn't have time for her.
Juliet refused to go to school though, fearing that what happened in her previous school will happen again. She spent most of her time among wild pokemons instead of going to school, without her parents knowing.

One day Juliet was suddenly attacked by a shadowy figure and passed out, the next thing she knew is that she became a half emolga. Since then she stayed with the wild pokemons.

Other:
- Juliet has a habit of rubbing her arm when she is nervous or worried.
- Juliet doesn't like battling or seeing others get hurt (especially pokemons), but she will fight to protect something or someone she cares about.
- Because of the transformation Juliet became much lighter, which lets her glide or fly easily. A gust of wind can blow her away or make her lose balance while flying though.
- Random Nunchucks!
- Juliet is currently "missing" as she never actually returned home since she became a pokehuman.

Also a question, will the Pokehumans have abilities? And if so, are they going to have only 1 ability? Or all of their possible abilities (including/excluding hidden abilities)?

Hopefully this attempt will not fall down Easily.

As a pokehuman she likes to throw off humans by randomly switching to Poké speech.

Two things about skipper, age means in years, as levels are not normally stated in RPs, and the other is that you should fully explain these genetic tweaks instead of giving an example.

Appearance (Human): Eli is around 6', has messy brown hair and brown eyes. He has a fit figure. He normally wears a long sleeve Yellow T-Shirt, Jeans, belt, and a pair of sunglasses rested on his head.
Appearance (Pokehuman): Eli had no change in height, but his figure was softened, his hair turned pink and white, with a ribbon on his forehead to the left, and another on his neck, each contributing two Sylveon ribbons. His hands up to his elbows is covered in a fine white fur, his fingernails replaced with retractable claws. His actual hands shrunk slightly, though still look like human hands. His eyes are a light blue, with his iris growing larger, his pupal going away. His ears were replaced with tall sylveon ears atop his head, and he has sprouted a tail that is a great pain to him. His teeth have sharpened, more akin to a predator now. His clothing sense did not change much, but he replaced his shirt in favor of a Dark Green T-Shirt and Black Jeans and shoes.
Personality: Eli is normally quite excited and extroverted, often jumping right into a subject or activity with much energy. It is not uncommon for him to take on a more calm demeanor however. He is still happy to talk and socialize, however, he normally is content to simply sit and think in this time.

How I'm going to say last resort works in this RP, is that in addition to having to have to have used all your other moves (All ten if you have that many), you also need to be badly losing or have some other reason to use it (Like saving a friend). Otherwise using it will simply result in you exerting yourself as if you had used it, but failing to do anything.

When he grew old enough, he moved to Alola to start a new life, but within a little under a month of being their, he randomly blacked out, only to find himself dumped face first in his lawn, he experienced changes shortly after words. Since then, his search for a job got a little harder, and hes been living his life a bit financially tuff, he will be heading to a job interview when the RP starts.
Other: Many people mistake him for a girl, which does annoy him. His voice has gone softer, to add to the frustration.

Appearance (Human): Lilian is around 5' 7", has long blond hair and emerald green eyes. She often wears a green hoodie and jeans, her expressions and posture emanate some kind of innate joy.
Appearance (Pokehuman): Lilian's height has shrunk to 3', her hair has darkened to a more fiery yellow, and her eyes have gone amber. Her forehead and feet sport Scorbunnies yellow stripes. Despite being way to bing for her, she wears the same jacket as she did before, though she did get new clothing otherwise. Lilians ears have been replaced with a pair of upright ears on her head. Her expressions and posture still emanate some kind of innate joy.
Personality: Lilian is very upbeat and optimistic, its hard for her to imagine that someone meant something in a mean or malicious way and its hard to get her angry, but when she does get angry, many fear her very presence.... More likely she just starts crying though. She doesn't really understand personal space, and loves to make friends.

With these bios of mine, I have a few announcements for the RP. When it comes to the transformations, it is a drug based thing, at one point it was dumped into the water supply, people were knocked out and injected, etc. This whole thing has been going on around two months, and this has been enough time to create racists and blame politics, etc. The main Characters will be coming to Heahea city, there will be a public announcement about Pokehumans, but that does not need to be the reason they are there.

There will be a meet and greet, and then the main plot will begin, which will be mystery and adventure(Hopefully).

Also, I approve Lilian and Eli.

I will note that Juliet is basically "missing" because she never returned home.

She will probably won't join the RP at the start, but rather when the party will be in a forest/route (if that's okay of course).

If it's also okay, Juliet will be one of the first to become a pokehuman, just because she basically doesn't know that there is more pokehumans. It doesn't mean that she is more experienced or stronger with the new form.

Appearance (Human): Edward normally has shining blond hair. To compliment his hair, he has ocean blue eyes. His outfits can vary from day to day. One day he could be in cadual wear like sweatpants, a hoodie, and some sneakers. Or another day he could go all out. Wearing a pristine white suit, with his signature white top hat. But most of the time he goes in the middle. Wearing a nice black and white flannel with black jeans, A black t-shirt, and a pair of black boots. Not too high but still medium length. Edward is a little bit tall standing at 6 feet tall
Apppearance (Pokehuman): No change of height is present when it comes to Edward. However his outfit is completely changed. He gains a white button down shirt. On top of the white button down is a green vest. His hair style changes, having a dip over curving in a v shape towards the middle of his nose. Skimming his eyes by a little bit. Speaking of which, his hair gains a green like color to it. With a blue strip through the middle of his hair. *EDIT 1* Edward will get custom metal arm blades for his pokehuman appearance. But that will be later on in the story.
Personality:Edward is an calm but outgoing person. Always willing to protect those around him. He can be really defensive at times. However, he is very open about himself to other people. Never a bully, and always looks out for the weak. Sometimes he worries about people more than he does himself. That is a main complaint people have about Edward.

The two had a normal and happy life until the Pokehuman epidemic. During a field trip to Heahea City, the duo went to eat at a Pokehuman-positive restaurant and the two, later that day, became two Vulpix Pokehumans. They were quarantined, promised a spot back into the school if they were ever cured of their affliction. Eyna tried to socialize with her old friends, but they wanted nothing to do with her, calling her a rabid beast and not human anymore. They all shunned her and Eyna retreated to her room, locking herself inside as Lumi went on, not really having emotional support on her friends, though they also cut her out of their lives.

I just wanted you to know, for RP reasons a few things.
Fine, fine. The main idea that everyone has of the Pokehuman event is that it is some kind of sickness, while some thinks its air or waterborne, or other ways. There are other views, like some kind of crazy scientist with a ray gun (That might just be that one crazy guy on the beach though...)
One more thing, most places have begun to require Pokehumans to wear masks and gloves, if not outright banning them. they can walk the streets without that however.

Pokehuman Species: Absol
Appearance (Human): He is Polynesian, with brownish skin and short black hair. He generally wore loose tank tops and cargo shorts while at work, and whatever he felt like while just at home or with friends.
Appearance (Pokehuman): He's gained several inches in total height due to the Absol horn now coming from his forhead. His hair has grown longer and become white, styled very similarly to an Absol's fur, and his eyes now have a red gleam in settings with lower light. He currently wears a white tank top and a light grey hoodie, which is worn tied around his waist. He wears baggy pants with plenty of storage space, where he stores portable food, his Pokeballs, spare cash, and a few more items.
Personality:
Makoa is a relatively chill guy. He studies and works hard, and is very empathetic towards those around him. He enjoys walking in nature, exploring the wilds of the islands, and playing games with his classmates after school is over for the day. He's interested in becoming a journalist in the future, but hasn't made many steps in that direction yet aside from purchasing a small pocket camera.
He is relatively upset by becoming a Pokehuman, but he hasn't figured out a way to deal with it yet and is just trying to be strong for now, and to get accustomed to the changes in his physique and abilities.
Moves:
- Double Team: This skill is very new to him. By concentrating he can make his outline blurry and harder to see, but it is not yet skilled enough to create full-on illusory duplicates.
- Detect: If he focuses carefully on the tingling sensations in his horn, he can sometimes tell where an attack will come from next. This allows him to dodge the attack with almost no chance of failure.
- Leer: Since his transformation, he has found his ability to intimidate others greatly increased. By fixing his eye on a target and staring at them, he can inspire trepidation and hesitancy in an opponent, causing them to lose just enough focus to act rashly or let their guards down.

Technically he can also knows Knock Off, but at this point it's simply a spark of dark energy that appears on his knuckles if he tries to hit something off of a person or away from something. It doesn't deal Dark type damage yet, and is effectively a normal human punch. Definitely weaker than a hit from a pair of Nunchucks.

Ability: Super Luck. Occasionally, a spark of intuition or a fortunate coincidence will allow him to strike past an opponent's guard and land critical hits more easily.

Backstory:
He lived most of his life with his Dad and older sister in a small home near Tapu Village. His father works the land, and his elder sister is off in Sinnoh pursuing her career. Sadly, she was unable to make it back home in time for his 17th Birthday, so he and his father went out together and went Mantine Surfing. Only two days later, though, he contracted Pokehuman symptoms. In the panic of the situation, he was fired from his inter-island delivery job. He decided he needed to leave home to keep his dad safe from becoming a Pokehuman too, and set off on the road with some supplies and his partners, Nalu and Pau'ahau.

He currently wears a white tank top and a light grey hoodie, which is worn tied around his waist. He wears baggy pants with plenty of storage space, where he stores portable food, his Pokeballs, spare cash, and a few more items.
Personality:
Makoa is a relatively chill guy. He studies and works hard, and is very empathetic towards those around him. He enjoys walking in nature, exploring the wilds of the islands, and playing games with his classmates after school is over for the day. He's interested in becoming a journalist in the future, but hasn't made many steps in that direction yet aside from purchasing a small pocket camera.
He is relatively upset by becoming a Pokehuman, but he hasn't figured out a way to deal with it yet and is just trying to be strong for now, and to get accustomed to the changes in his physique and abilities.
Moves:
- Double Team: This skill is very new to him. By concentrating he can make his outline blurry and harder to see, but it is not yet skilled enough to create full-on illusory duplicates.
- Detect: If he focuses carefully on the tingling sensations in his horn, he can sometimes tell where an attack will come from next. This allows him to dodge the attack with almost no chance of failure.
- Leer: Since his transformation, he has found his ability to intimidate others greatly increased. By fixing his eye on a target and staring at them, he can inspire trepidation and hesitancy in an opponent, causing them to lose just enough focus to act rashly or let their guards down.

Technically he can also knows Knock Off, but at this point it's simply a spark of dark energy that appears on his knuckles if he tries to hit something off of a person or away from something. It doesn't deal Dark type damage yet, and is effectively a normal human punch. Definitely weaker than a hit from a pair of Nunchucks.

Ability: Super Luck. Occasionally, a spark of intuition or a fortunate coincidence will allow him to strike past an opponent's guard and land critical hits more easily.

Backstory:
He lived most of his life with his Dad and older sister in a small home near Tapu Village. His father works the land, and his elder sister is off in Sinnoh pursuing her career. Sadly, she was unable to make it back home in time for his 17th Birthday, so he and his father went out together and went Mantine Surfing. Only two days later, though, he contracted Pokehuman symptoms. In the panic of the situation, he was fired from his inter-island delivery job. He decided he needed to leave home to keep his dad safe from becoming a Pokehuman too, and set off on the road with some supplies and his partners, Nalu and Pau'ahau.

Well, I hate to do this to ya Renz, but there are a few things I need to pick in your bio for. I noticed in your moves that you mention a horn, but in appearance, all you said changed was his height and hair color. Please add all changes to Makoa. In your move detect, it says that Makoa has the ability to dodge almost any attack, and while this may be something to think of later down the line, he would not have gotten good enough at this in a month to dodge ‘almost any attack’.
The other stuff looks great however!

I'd like to direct your attention to 'He's gained several inches in height due to his horn'. I did say he had one, although I suppose I didn't really describe it except for it adding to his height. I'll probably go back and fix that. And I'd also like to point out that Detect only works if he can focus hard enough on the tingling sensations occurring on his horn. If he A: doesn't know how to do so, or B: can't do so quickly, which is likely at this point, he can't use the move.
Additionally... the move is Detect. It's pretty much just Protect, but with less power points. I wrote it that way for flavor. I doubt if I just said 'he can throw up a shield when he senses an incoming attack' there would have been any problem.
If you still want me to change the way Detect works, let me know. For now I'll just clarify that he does have an Absol's horn, now.

EDIT: You know me, I don't god-mod or just spam dodges. If I think an attack would hit, or deal big damage, it does so. I don't plan to abuse Detect. Like, it's unlikely his reaction time is fast enough to focus on an incoming attack through his horn and then dodge a high speed projectile from an attack like Ember. For the moment, it probably can't do too much unless it's against a slower attack like Dig, or a clumsier, lower-accuracy attack. It may get better in the future, though.
