Just in case something was misunderstood, I'm pretty certain it meant giving everyone the chance to carry around the ball, not actually capturing them in the process. Plus, Talo's change was the cause of a Hypnosis after being caught, not actually from the ball itself. If the capture was accidental, I feel like the ball should have to be thrown with some impact, 'activating' the ball or touching its button instead of just laying a finger on the ball.

Of course, I could be completely wrong on all of this, so ima just wait until @Eliiiscool says something to do anything.

Is the general idea Altari was going for is the recent post okay, with the whole captured inside of the ball and controlled that way thing? I don't wanna make a post and then completely change it when you step in to say something, so I was gonna let you sort out whether Altari's stuff is good or if it needs revision.

1:The pokeball does nothing but contain the creature(and alter speech), Talo was altered by hypno.
2:it is possible to be caught by accident, but it is kind of hard? rare? you would have to hold the pokeball tightly the wrong way.
3:this is a separate note, but the pokeball is as pleasant as the owners disposition to the pokemon/pokehuman

Hi, I have not role played in around a year, but I remember the basics. I would like to join this one, but if I do anything wrong just let me know. I added a background and a personality, if that is okay...

Name: Ava
Gender: Female
Human/ pokehuman: Human
Pokemon team: None
Appearance: She has long pink hair and a white flower in her hair. Her outfit consists of a white shirt with a pink colar with black pants.
Personality: She is a happy go lucky person but can easily be scared. Pokemon scare her the most and she never wants to touch one. She usually wants to help others that need help. She is overall kind, cheerful, and shy.
Background: Her parents wanted Ava to go on a journey around the world, but she had a fear of Pokemon sense she was a kid. She is traveling the world alone and had just started her journey from Lumiose City.

Human/ pokehuman: She will be human for her first couple of posts, but she will be converted into a Pikachu Pokehuman.
Pokemon team: Altaria and Togekiss. (Both female.)
Appearance (Human): She has short brown hair and green eyes. She wears glasses and usually wears a small black bow in her hair. She wears a simple outfit, comprised of a short forest-green skirt, black leggings, a black top, and a white scarf.
Appearance (Pokehuman): Once she is converted into a Pikachu hybrid, she will gain yellow hair and the iconic Pikachu ears and tail. She will also have Pikachu cheeks and markings. She will also gain yellow skin and become smaller. Her glasses will no longer be needed as her vision will improve in transformation, and the black bow will remain.
Personality: Unlike her bubbly and naive sister, Talia is rather reserved and studious. She has a strong moral compass and desires to keep her sister safe. She also has some of that "rebellious teenager" personality, and can be a bit defiant at times. Like many older/younger sister pairs, she is often embarrassed about Allie's rash behavior.
Side Notes: She is Allie's older sister. (If that wasn't clear from the personality section.)

Let me know if this will work. I'll find a way to work her into the RP as soon as I have confirmation.

The basic summary of the story is that it's just turned morning and a group of 'people' are hanging out in a cave with some rather odd things going on between them. There's Echo (part Mismagius) Allie (part Gardevoir) Eli (part Sylveon) Talo (part Flygon) Feray (part Ditto) Oliver (mostly Oshawott) Jolty (part Emolga, yet not technically a part of the group) and Reuben and Emily, who are both humans.

Team Rocket's been going around injecting people with the sleepy transformy serum, yadda yadda, yet a more interesting threat has come up when discovering some of the Grunts have special balls designed to capture the Pokehumans. They are all in a cave in a forest, and are making their way out of the forest and travelling to Lumiose.

Current main points that have recently happened to my characters:

Emily Scolt (Human):
  • Has slept in a cave after fleeing from a battle with Team Rocket last night.
  • Is attempting to comfort Oliver.
  • Is now attempting to get Eli's attention about Echo.
Cylan (Cyndaquil):
  • Is currently in a coma and in his ball.
  • Has been injected with a bottle containing strong, liquid-type medicine designed to combat the acute poisoning in his right arm.
Oliver Cohen (Oshawott):
  • Has turned himself into a Pokémon after being chased by a strong trainer.
  • Left almost all his belongings somewhere in Ambrette Town.
  • Currently with Emily Scolt.
  • Also currently in a state of strong panic and stress as a result of the events of yesterday and the current event starting to potentially unfold at the moment in the present.

  • In a status that I am referring to as Burnout, in which she is incapable of using moves.
  • Currently with the rest of the Pokehumans.
  • Is a Gardevoir/Human hybrid.
Eevee (Allie's)
  • Currently fighting Echo.
  • Unlike Allie, she is not affected by Burnout.
  • With Allie.
Absol (Allie's)
  • Identical status to Eevee.

So I just realized that Talo can literally do nothing in this fight. He is too weak to move and either way many people are already attacking, so I am gonna wait for others to respond and see if I got an opening.

As a Pokehuman - Aisha has the ears, tail, and arm spikes of a Lucario. The spikes are in the same location as a Lucario’s and are smaller to suit her arm size better. Her hair is black, her eyes are red, and her skin color remains the same.
Clothing: She wears a gray tank top, a black skirt with built in shorts, black fingerless gloves, and blue and black sneakers. She may add clothing onto this to hide her Pokehuman characteristics.

Wait, I'm confused. Why is Altari_owl's character insane now? Like, the Hybrid Ball shouldn't have anything to alter the person's mind except their speech capabilities. And why did Echo go in the ball in the first place? Talo was meaning to be passed on from one trainer to the next as a way to form a bond between them all again, not for them to try and enter the ball. And I thought only one Pokehuman and their Pokemon, if they have a team, can only be in there, which would mean that Talo would be free of the ball.

Unless there is a Hypno nearby, Echo shouldn't be attacking everyone. Echo would still have an intact mind and Eli has already said this before numerous times.

I am also really confused on the messages and the complete submission. The Hybrid Ball has nothing that keeps the Pokehuman submissive and a simple telepathic mind trick probably won't cause someone to listen to the orders given that quickly. Also, where did the messages come from, and if they had a Psychic-Type doing it, then how did they know where they are and where the extra Hybrid Ball is to cause the messages?

And Talo didn't have any messages from the Hybrid Ball speak to him like Echo had. So unless the Hybrid Ball breaks Echo's mind somehow, even if he was willing to be caught by it in the first place, then none of this should have happened as it breaks continuity.

Hmm, I suppose I'll have to wait too then. If the post is removed or changed, then I suppose I might need to change up the status data since the moves have quite badly damaged a little otter from the latest post with their's.

I guess I'll continue working on something that Pichu might know about then if that's the case...

I'm not likely as to intervene with it at the moment since the person is not on for the post made, and even then, I usually try to not say it out loud because of well... that thing with well, something related to mini something.

Okay, I obviously need to apologize. My understanding was skewed and being pregnant with raging hormones and emotions tend to cause me to act irrational. What I understood by Altari's post was that his character technically went through some kind of mental breakdown, when that wasn't the case. The only reason why I thought this was because there couldn't have been any way for someone to communicate with Echo, so I initially thought that Echo probably went insane, but I thought wrong and should have stopped to understand it.

I'm sorry for causing tension, and I'll delete my rant.

Basically, I had an emotional crisis due to my current state and thought that Altari's character was going insane instead of taking suggestions due to a possible psychic force almost immediately after being caught. So I went on a 4-5 post rant about it and then I realized my issues and deleted them all since they held no bearing to what was actually happening in the RP. I wasn't exactly paying attention and I guess you could say I was emotionally and mentally compromised at the time, so my understanding was very skewed.

So I'm terribly sorry for all of that. I am going through a lot right now. ^^'"

Alright, well it seems like there was just some confusion about the hybrid ball, probably my fault. I originally intended to put in the part where I got Hypno'ed in the same post as when I was captured. I didn't have enough time to double check the post so I comoleately forgot to put that in there. So long story short, this is what happened to me: Talo got in a fight, lost, because he was damaged a lot, he was helpless. Before he got captured, one of the grunts used their Hypno to put me under a more obedient mood towards them. When Talo was put in the ball, all he had to think about was that he lost and that he had no choice but to give up. Because of that, he let go of his mental struggle and that made him forget some things from his past.

Overall it was a combination of mental and physical pain that allowed for the Hypno to really do some damage on Talo. I think where most people got confused is when I didn't put in that whole Hypno part, so sorry for the confusion. Talo is currently starting to break the control of Hypno but the memories will have to come back later in the story.
