Name: Kimiko "Kim" Takahashi
Age: 16
Gender/Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Heterosexual (Despite her not showing much romantic interest)
Height: 5'6"
Appearance (pictures can also be used): An Asian-American girl with fair skin, dark purple eyes and long black hair she usually ties into a ponytail. Her figure is about average height a girl her age, with an athletic even visibly if lightly toned physique. There is a faded scar across the bridge of her nose, and seems to have a pair of silver ring earrings to add a bit of personal style. Her top consists of a plain white t-shirt where she wears a dark blue vest over it and even fancied a pair of similarly colored gloves. She tends to wear a thigh high white skirt (Decorated with some light blue diamond-shaped glitters across the edge of it) with a pair of black bottoms underneath it to be on the safe side, along with a pair of long white socks and a pair of dark blue shoes..
Personality: A reserved, serious girl who seems to take any activity no matter how minor with the upmost intensity. She is competitive with a desire to be the best and isn't always the most humble about it, often being cold or dismissive of those she doesn't find to impress her. Course, this is just a bitter outer shell she crafted to keep people away from her, fearing the possibility of growing close to someone only for that to be taken away from her. She is loathed with self-resentment and often turns to training or the arts as a distraction, though to those who can chip through her exterior a sweatier and girl with a loving passion may not be fully erased as she believes.
Backstory/History: Kim is the youngest in the Takashi line, a respected and long-lasting line of heroes that she is expected to push on the proud legacy towards. Kim always had a passion for being a hero, though her family always burdened her with their unreasonable expectations; it was never enough to be good, she had to be the best and anything less than that was seen as a failure. Her controlling father more or less isolated her for large sections of her life, seeing things like friends and social activities to be a distraction on her goal to being a future top hero, and was not above physically reprimanding her for her "failures" leading to internal resentment and this sense of loneliness. This feeling only intensified when her older sister graduated and became a pro, leaving her alone, without the one supportive buffer and thus sparking this desire no this need to be perfect to not bring shame to her family.
Powers:
-"Folded Heart" (Kim possesses the ability to transform her body into an enhanced paper at will. Whether it'd be to split Kim's body up into individual pieces of paper, or change sections of her body into a malleable paper replica. This offers her a diverse skillset: She can for example, disperse into various fluttering paper birds to avoid a physical blow and reform into a whole body, she can shift her body and fold over layers of paper to produce things like a paper sword, shield or wings for combat or other utility. The downside is she becomes vulnerable to elemental attacks in this state, such as flames that can burn her paper body or water to make it soggy and weak. This also takes a mental toll the longer or more actions she makes with this ability, leading to headaches or even a full collapse if she overuses it.)
-'Hand to Hand Combat Specialist" (Kim trained extensively in her life thus far to handle herself even without powers, in particular taking a liking to kickboxing and judo so she can always hit hard and use her opponent's size against them. She is not yet a true master in these fields, but highly proficient and growing in skill each day.)
Likes: Her sister, Marcus, Painting, Poetry, Training
Dislikes: Failure, Her father, Her grandfather, Her mother, Slobs
Relationships: Isamu Takahashi (Her grandfather, a retired Pro Hero), Minoru Takahashi (Her father, a semi-active Pro Hero), Asami Takahashi (Her mother, a semi-active Pro Hero), Naomi Takahashi (Her older sister, a relative newcomer Pro Hero), Marcus Stevens (The family caretaker).
Other: In private she often forms her right hand into a paper dog that acts as a puppet she speaks with, a true companion of sorts and she'd sooner kill herself then let anyone discover this little secret of hers. She calls it Carroll, named after one of her favorite authors. A bit sassy and speaks her inner thoughts, though can also be lazy a sleeping dog if you will.
