(Ooh, Miracle Eye, glad someone else knows that move exists.)
Neon let out a surprised gasp as the Air Slashes were heading directly towards Alakazam.
"How did they...."
Neon looked genuinely confused, and Neon was a smart guy. Alakazam, however, with an IQ at least 3,000 points higher than most of his species, knew what they were up to. (Remember, Neon's Alakazam ain't no idiot, he has an IQ over 8,000.)
Instead of teleporting like usual, Alakazam did something creative.
He used confusion, and the weak psychic energy sent the Air Slashes back at Harmony.
"Alakazam, Psycokinetic Wrath!"
Alakazam nodded, then summoned many Shadow Balls in a large circle around him, then added Energy Balls into the mix.
Alakazam then used a powerful Psychic, sending the Energy and Shadow Balls towards Meowstic at blazing speeds, the Psychic would also do damage if it hit.

Alakazam communicated with Incineroar about Miracle Eye.
Incineroar nodded, then used protect on the Psychic.
"Alright Incineroar, Swords Dance!" Neon shouted.
Incineroar roared loudly, and energy surrounded him before Incineroar absorbed it.
Incineroar jumped up, then leapt onto the ground below him, covered in flames. (Flame Charge.)
There wasn't any point to that, except for the fact it raised his speed. And it was flashy.
"Alright Incineorar, now!"
Incineroar spun towards Meowstic with incredible speed and power, while his hands were covered in dark flames. (Swords Dance boosted Darkest Lariat, as well as having speed boosted by Flame Charge.)

Robin slowly awoke to the blaring of the Pina Colada Song. Evidently, whoever had been in Robin's hotel room before he had hadn't switched off the radio alarm. And of course, the song it was playing at that time was The Pina Colada Song. This morning, Robin did not like Pina Coladas. He did not like getting caught in the rain. And most importantly, he did not like to be woken up by radio alarms blaring The Pina Colada song. With a grumble, the blue haired swordsman slowly sat up and turned off his alarm. The music had manged to wake up Cherry, who was looking around drowsily as well. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to go on a 30 minute hike two in the morning.

A little over an hour later, Robin had managed to shake off his tiredness and felt ready for the day. He had packed his gear, he had sharpened his sword, he had his Pokeballs, he had his breakfast. There was just something that felt good about feeling totally ready for the day.
"Now, what to do..." Robin muttered, scratching his chin as he stood outside the Hotel. It was a brand new day in a place with the strongest trainers around. And although it seemed like a waste to not take advantage of challenging these powerful trainers that he had no doubt were all around, Robin also knew that there was a wilderness area on the island. What secrets did it hold? What powerful and rare Pokemon were there? Robin decided to make up his mind.

Adjusting his backpack, Robin began to walk towards the wilderness area of the island. If he saw any trainers on his way there, or while he was there, he would battle them! If not, well, more time hiking for him!

Eva cursed under her breath. She was better at a double battle and so were her Pokemon. But the light gave her an idea. She yelled out her command as the copies disappeared one by one. "Electrified Trump Card!"

Out from the light, cards covered in electrical energy shot forth at the Water Pledge, the electricity allowing the thin cards of energy carve through the water like a hot knife through butter. Meanwhile, Jolt dodged out of the way of the Dazzling Gleam by using Dig, saving his body and eyes from the bright light above. He wasn't in too deep, and will reemerge shortly after. (Thunderbolt boosting power and speed of Trump Cards)

Mr. Mime saw the dig. and wondered where the jolteon went. "Metronome and the metronome again!" Sasha shouted.
Mr. Mime cleared its head and jumped into the air, then he blew out a large dark cloud shrouding the area. The whole arena was filled with a a black cloud and Sasha couldn't see anything.
---
Mr. Mime then cleared his head and switched out.(baton pass)
---
Sasha saw the pokeball come from his pocket and take back Mr. Mime. He decided to think logically in the situation and decided to play a trick on his opponent. "Go Bulk!" he yelled. He launched the ball into the air and after a flash of blue, his Gurdurr dissapeared into the black.
To have Bulk know the situation he called out the code words to one of his famous moves. "Hey Bulk, there's a jolteon using dig right now, so we're doing the 'Retack' ok?"
----
Bulk heard the command, but decided he needed to see better. He started spinning in a circle around him so there would be a clearing, waiting for the jolteon to emerge from the ground.

Jolt peeked over the edge to see a cloud of smoke - which looked like Smokescreen - go out into a field, and a familiar sound of a Pokemon switching out. He then saw the smoke was about to move away, so Jolt began to dig some more around the field, making several other holes around the battlefield to pop out of. Now, he was going to play peek-a-boo, and he was better at it than Glacier. When he hopped out of one hole, he used Zap Cannon, sending out a large ball of electrified energy at the Gurdurr. He then used Agility, becoming practically invisible as he dashed about underneath the battlefield. He also used Work Up as he ran around, building up that muscle for his attacks. That's when he decided to pop out of the ground and use another move.

Bulk saw the Zap Cannon aproaching and decided to put the plan into action. He braced him self using endure, he then threw his gurdur at the zap cannon, taking the hit and pushing it back at him. He heard a noise behind him, like a digging sound. So, grabbing it, he used counter, swinging his gurdur around and ready to hit the jolteon he realized was just popping out of the hole.

Jolt erupted from the ground and used Stored Power, a beam of psychic energy leaving his body and shooting upward before going down towards Bulk, powered by his prior uses of Agility and Work Up. However, as soon as he popped up into the air and used the attack, his face was smashed into by a Counter and he was sent flying back to his trainer. He shakily stood up before clearing his head, ready to keep fighting. He shot forth an arcing Thunderbolt at Bulk, trying to get him distracted so the Stored Power can hit him.

Sasha knew Bulk wouldn't survive another hit, so he decided to make the best of the situation. "Bulk, throw your gurdur at the stored power and then take that and slam it on the ground." Sasha instructed Bulk.
Bulk threw his gurdur in the air to take care of the stored power, then jumped to grab the gurdur, and swung it to counter act the thunderbolt. The electrical beam faded as it hit the metal band, being absorbed into bar, Bulk then threw the gurdur into the ground releasing a wave of elctricity into the ground. Bulk then finally struck it with a thunder punch, causing the beam to become magnitised at the band [science].

Jolt was now a little scared. He didn't have Volt Absorb, he had Quick Feet. This was going to hurt if it hit. He thought quickly before disappearing in another hole, shooting some more Pin Missiles at him to get him distracted for a moment while he rushed to the other side of Bulk from underneath. He then stopped and waited. What if Bulk heard him? What if he could feel the vibrations in the earth and sense he was here? Jolt was getting a little scared now. Whatever happened next, Jolt got ready, yet his ears fell back in despair. He felt like he just put himself in a corner.

Bulk saw the missiles coming in. He decided quickly to use the holes to his advantage in stopping damage and possibly attacking. He set his gurdur on the ground next to him, and then focused on his fists as they became cold. He then reached out and grabbed the missiles, turning them to ice and then threw them down around him. He then grabbed his gurdur, slammed it into the ground, and grabbed the stones and threw them at the dig holes filling them in, trapping the jolteon inside the ground.
"Dur Gurdurr Gur" He shouted to Sasha. He wanted to shift over to someone else. Someone who would handle this better, like his friends Guard.
"Stay in Bulk," Sasha replied. "Even if you go down, we know what we can do. But you need to stay in for the possibility to beat the jolteon."

Jolt heard something from up above. It sounded like someone using an icy move. Freaking out and thinking that he was going to be stuck down there, he rushed out, only for the icy Pin Missiles to fall at him. He backtracked and was now in his own little tunnels as the entrances he made were sealed with rock. He looked up and noticed the ceiling above him was bending at the weight of the Gurdurr above. Hm, he had an idea. If this guy even moved one inch after Jolt was done, the earth will collapse. Perfect! He began digging deeper and deeper down the hole until he made a good six foot drop that was six feet wide. He then dug the area above him until the earth began to thin out. His Agility worked wonders in making this a fast procedure, so hopefully Bulk will fall.

Meanwhile, Eva was getting worried. What was Jolt doing? Was he okay? She wasn't able to return him now that he was underground, but then something happened. The earth below the Gurdurr was bending a little.

Bulk felt the earth underneath him feel...well...bendier. He saw a crack form beneith him and knew he had no time to jump out exept now. He jumped into the air, pushing the earth into the pitfall he saw below him. He must have smashed the ground too much, but this must have been a trap by that jolteon.
======
As Bulk was jumping towards safety, Sasha saw that Bulk wasn't gonna make it to the other side. "Bulk come back, Flash [ninjask] come in!" Sasha instructed as he threw both balls up, bringing back Bulk and releasing Flash.
======
Flash saw the hole in the middle. He didn't know his opponent, but he knew that who ever it was, his speed would allow him to dish out fast powerful attacks. All he had to do is wait for his opponent. Flash then dug under the ground, only to find a maze of tunnels underneith the ground.

As Robin continued his hike, he couldn't help but to smile. It really was a rather nice day today. The sun shone down brightly from a beautiful blue sky, with occasional white clouds and Pokemon soaring overhead. It was days like these that Robin was glad to be alive. The trainer took another deep breath as he continued his walk, the Plusle on his shoulder mimicking him. Not many trainers appeared to be in this area of the island, but in truth Robin was okay with that. He had felt so cramped yesterday, stuck on that boat then that opening session, then that restaurant. It felt good to have some elbow room.

Coming out from behind a tree, Robin saw the first person he had seen since starting his hike. A woman, with the longest brown hair that he had ever seen. She was tan, and her skin seemed almost... tough-looking, somehow. Robin also noticed that she wasn't wearing any shoes. Interesting. Another interesting this was the fact that she had with her a Dragonite. A very popular and strong Pokemon, at least where Robin was from. Smiling brightly, the backpacking swordsman waved towards Sheila.
"Hello! Good morning!" Robin called over to Sheila. On his shoulder, Cherry waved to the pair as well.

Jolt saw his pitfall was avoided and watched as the Gurdurr was returned in favor of someone else. Then he had an idea. He heard something enter, so he used Agility, becoming a blur as he shot forth a Pin Missile at... Nothing. He shot at the corner where he heard the sound of something entering the tunnel, trying to get their attention.

After a few moments, he charged forward, covering his body in electrical energy as he let loose Wild Charge, turning the corner to attack.
(@BegalBitez)

Meanwhile, Sheila turned around swiftly, only seeing a guy with a little cherry Pokemon on his shoulder. Softly letting out a little sigh of relief, she crossed her arms. "Jeez, you really need to be careful about sneaking up on someone like that. My Dragonite could have hurt you." And indeed, her Dragonite looked at Robin with a scowl before turning back to where Shade and Ajax were. "Besides, don't blow my cover. We are watching how Ajax teaches Shade so she can one day become a Tier 3 Battle Master. I'm Sheila by the way. Who are you?"

Shade woke up, very refreshed, despite it being five hours since she was unceremoniously put to sleep. She could see the dark blues and indigos starting to become lighter, and she woke up the rest of her team. After her quick morning routine and getting her Pokemon ready, she returned them all except for her Hydreigon, who flew over to the balcony as fast as he could. Shade hopped on and enjoyed the ride as Schwartz flew over to the rendezvous point where Ajax wanted them to meet. Shade was pretty pumped and her Pokemon in their PokeBalls could feel it, and it was fueling their adrenaline. So much so, that they were shaking, some more than others. Schwartz found the location and dove towards it, reaching breakneck speeds. Shade hugged and ducked into Schwartz's body, basically melding her body with his own. Right when it seemed Schwartz was about to smash into the ground, his wings flew out and the rush of wind hit his wings, sending him up a bit and saving his body from becoming paste. It rocketed him back up in the air, doing a loop before slowing down and coasting right along the ground, at least several feet in the air. As soon as Schwartz twirled about, Shade let go, letting her body drop elegantly to the ground before landing on her feet and rolling into the drop. Still her feet stung, but the adrenaline rush was amazing. Schwartz took a moment to slow down before hovering behind Shade.

"Alright, Ajax, I'm here." Her voice was just oozing with excitement and determination.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eva woke up, feeling a little bit better about things, but she still felt bad. She got up, did her morning routine, fed her Pokemon, and then returned them before heading out. She went out to the cafe to get something to eat, where she spotted Sasha. She wanted to try her hand at battling, but she didn't want to embarrass herself. She walked over to Sasha and smiled at him. "Hey, uh... Are you a Battle Master or a Participant? I want to battle this morning." (I know this isn't Shade, but Shade can't be late for her appointment with Ajax).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sheila woke up feeling energized, as that happened usually when she fell asleep on the floor. She got up, got dressed, fed her Pokemon, and flew out on her Dragonite. She wanted to explore the island a bit before returning back to her usual prowling around the city, but that's when she found a group of Pokemon beneath her. Diving down, she noticed it was Ajax and Shade. She smirked. Of course, he was helping her out. He had a knack for mentoring. She kept on flying until they got a little ways away before they landed, opting to keep themselves hidden as they watched the training between Shade and Ajax.

“Well that certainly took you long enough” Ajax descended from his elevated hiding spot atop zero stepping effortlessly off of the ice type Pokémon who once free from under his trainers feat lifted himself up and began to hover nervously behind Ajax.
“So shade where shall we start?” At the sound of their trainers voice the rest of Ajax’s Pokemon appeared from all around the plateau, Toph and Turbo leading the pack. Turbo was still furious about the cheap tricks used to defeat her and was ready to pluck Gar’s eyes out should the ghost type make the mistake of showing his face too soon.

Shade just shook her head with that big goofy grin still plastered on her face. "Well, Gar had to take care of me so he hypnotized me to sleep. He's a good Pokemon and acts like a father to me but the way he does things are a little underhanded. But yes, I am ready. I think we can start on Pokemon combos."

She looked over at all the Pokemon that appeared and saw the look on Turbo. She looked back at Ajax, a little unsure now if she can have Gar appear. "Uhh... Ajax, your Talonflame seems a bit vengeful. I know that the Destiny Bond was a pretty underhanded trick in official battles like the one we had, but it seems like if I throw out Gar, Turbo might attack him." She quickly realized how that might have sounded and quickly tried to remedy it. "I'm not saying that your Pokemon will attack out of turn, but the look he's giving right now seems plausible. While I would be mad if I were in his feathers, but all we are doing right now is training. He can have his revenge later. Like after training."

Jolt got hit by the dirt, halting his Wild Charge. He didn't know where the Pokemon went, but he will surely figure it out after a good dispersed attack. He quickly sent forth a Discharge. The electrical move in close quarters like this was getting everywhere, shocking the pebbles and granules of dirt around the Jolteon.

Flash flew up into the air and then dove towards the ground where the ditch was. Using dig he cut through the dirt, his speed increasing every second, he flew through the tunnel where he saw the jolteon letting out an electrical blast. He shot though the dirt, digging to curve around and hit the jolteon, and then possibly over and over and over again.

Robin approached the woman, who seemed rather short now that he was closer.
"My apologies, I thought I was a safe distance. I usually am a bit louder when I walk, I guess I was just lost in how wonderful a day it is today." Robin said. Evidently, they were trying to watch some teaching. Someone called Ajax teaching someone called Shade, to be a Tier Three Battlemaster. It didn't take long for Robin to unpack all that the statement implied. Battlemasters were training! Maybe a Spire Master as well! That was something that Robin didn't want to miss.
"My name's Robin. And this little lady here is Cherry. It's nice to meet you." Robin said, lowering his voice slightly as to not 'blow her cover'. On his shoulder, Cherry was instead awestruck by the Dragonite. She had seen Dragonites before, but still she thought they were super cool how larger and tough-looking they were.

"Spying on Battlemaster training? That's pretty intense." Robin said to
Robin looked in the direction Sheila was looking. Two people both with quite a few Pokemon, stood facing each other. The first was a man, a little taller than Robin with crimson red hair and a red leather trenchcoat. Really? A trenchcoat? Well, Robin wasn't one to judge people's style choices. With the man (who Robin assumed to be Ajax), Robin spotted quite a few Pokemon. A Cryogonal, a Mudsdale, a Talonflame, a Metagross, a Ferrothorn, a Roserade, a Greninja... there were wayyy more than six, that was for sure. The woman (who Robin assumed to be Shade) had purple hair, and her whole attire was a blend of purple and blacks. In fact, she seemed rather familiar to Robin. He stared at her a moment longer, concentrating, before it finally hit him. Route 213! That terrible snowstorm and that strange mansion...

Jolt was able to hear all that digging around and buzzing through the earth. What the hell was this Pokemon? He stopped for a second before letting loose another Discharge as he heard the digging sound get closer. Although, he was close, he managed to pop off a Discharge. Seems they must be at a stalemate. (@BegalBitez)

Meanwhile, Sheila nodded and her Dragonite relaxed a bit as they continued to watch the show. She began to fill in about the situation a bit more to Robin, seeing as he seemed a little less knowledgable on who Ajax was. "Ajax is a Spire Master. Higher than me, since he's almost as tough as Celeste and Ceres. I'm quite new, so I'm pretty much on the bottom portion when it comes with how good I am. That doesn't mean I'm easy to beat, though. I'm still a Spire Master." She looked over and noticed Robin was staring at Shade interestingly, almost as if he knew her. "Huh. You know Shade?" (@Captain Cardboard)

The dirt around him shielded him for the discharges the jolteon struck out, but it still pushed him back. He needed another angle, something that would stop him from being detected. An idea popped into his mind. He continued with his stratigy, but putting distance between him and the jolteon for safe measures. When ever he immerged into the tunnel's channel, he would release a bug buzz. He dug, getting faster and faster, releasing bug buzzes left and right, hoping to deafen the jolteon so it couldn't hear him.

Robin nodded along as Shelia explained what was happening. He stopped, however, when Shelia mentioned that she was a Spire Master herself. Robin glanced back to the woman, then up to her Dragonite. He was surprised. Not because she didn't look like a Spire Master (which he didn't think that). Robin had learned a while ago that trainers are a very diverse bunch, and you can't judge someone's skill just from their appearance. He was surprised by the fact that he had ran into a Spire Master just accidentally. Sure, it wasn't too big of an island. But there weren't exactly that many Spire Masters. At least, that was what the guide book he had been given the first day had said.
"Well, congratulations. That must have taken a lot of work." Robin said, flashing a polite smile to Shelia. He rubbed his chin and turned his attention back to Shade and Ajax.
"I'm not quite sure. I believe we've met once, but I could be mistaken. It was a while ago." Robin said.

And the stalemate was where Jolt was wrong. He heard the cacophony of buzzing noises and immediately freaked out. Where was it? He quickly used Wild Charge as he used the electricity as cover so he could leave the underground and jumped out of the pitfall trap. Now, where was it? He stopped using his electricity to get a good ear out, even though his hearing was now impaired from all that close range Bug Buzzing. (@BegalBitez)

Sheila gave a lighthearted chuckle. "A lot of work? Well, yea. Took my team straight from Galar and was practically a prodigy by the time I got my badges in Galar. However, I was living as an orphan in the wild, taken care of by Pokemon. I can understand what they say, and I can speak to them back with my own PokeSpeech, but I used to hate how humans talked. I hated their mannerisms and everything else. When I went on that journey for badges, I was so wrong. I met someone who taught me English and how to read and write. After my loss at beating the Galar's Champion at the time, I went to Sinnoh to train my Pokemon, most were weak to Ice. I went to Route 217 to train them in the snow and hail and blizzards and we stayed out there for months. I came back to Galar and managed to beat the Champion on my third try. Also, I think you mean Route 217. I remembered seeing a mansion there." (@Captain Cardboard)

Flash noticed that the jolteon was out of the tunnel, so he emmerged to see it standing on the ground trying to detect him. He had to use the code: cover slash 1 repeated. He dug down, his speed reaching its maximum limit. He turned sharply, up towards the jolteon getting an aerial ace ready to strike the jolteon off balance and then make repeated measures of aerial aces out of the ground and back in. His speed increased to maximum. With an aerial ace at the ready, he shot out of the ground at lightning speed aiming to make a pass by slash at the jolteon and then dig back under as a cover to continuously barrage the jolteon at top speed.

Robin had not expected Shelia to go into her life's story just from his passing comment, but it was a rather interesting one. He was surprised to hear that Shelia was a feral child. Robin had actually met a few feral children before. Three, to be exact. One of them he had met had even attacked him with a spear. He had felt bad for those kids, and it was good to hear that someone who was once a feral child had managed to become reintegrated with society. His polite smile turned into a more cocky grin as Shelia brought up Route 217.
"Huh. A wild lady and mind reader? I never mentioned Route 213 out loud." Robin said. He laughed quietly, deciding to overlook the small continuity error. "Anyway, you're right. Route 217 was the place. Sinnoh was a pretty interesting region, to be sure. A lot of very cool history in that region, and a lot of very beautiful places. From how much you talked about Galar, I'm guessing you're from the region? And you've been to Sinnoh as well. Are you a big traveler?"

@Merciless Medic

Amelia was genuinely alone now, which caused the unfortunate girl to nervously shake. Her sister went off to do god knows what. Her menacing Hydreigon glanced at her with worry, a screeching noise heard from it. Amelia, unphased, hugged on her Hydreigon, who in turn nuzzled her back. It was the shadows. The very shadows of pain that etched across her very being. The very same ones that have scarred her and forced her to hide for so very long.

While she continued to walk, across the island in a relatively simple manner, her eyes glanced to several trainers. But, she seemingly enough wasn't sure who to respond to, or actually interact with. Her people skills were truly limited at most. It was pretty lonely, but seemingly has gotten used to it over the years.

(OOC: Fixed any mention of your character saying something about Route 213 @Captain Cardboard)

Sheila nodded in agreement to Robin's comment on Sinnoh's lore and mythology. Though, on the subject of travel, Sheila shrugged. "I do like to travel, but I have only really been to Sinnoh and Galar. I went to Sinnoh, not only because of its lore and icy cold mountain, but also because there were other Pokemon I wanted there. The preevolutions of Dragonite, Garchomp, Salamence, and Metagross could be found near Mt. Coronet, so that's what I did. I got more friends and trained everyone in the snow. Now, they have a bit more resistance to the cold than most of their species. Although, I got to work on Kommo-o's and Hydreigon's weakness to Fairy. Like everyone else, Spire Masters still have things to learn." (@Captain Cardboard)

"THUNDER ARMOR!" Yelled Eva. Jolt nodded and, just when Flash left the ground, Jolt cloaked himself in electricity, hardening his body. He also used Agility as he dodged the attack, bits of electricity arcing towards Flash, regardless if they made contact with the Ninjask or not. Two could play at that game. Another Agility and Jolt had reached his peak speed. The thunder armor made him glow with electrical energy and hardened his fur and muscles, making him harder to hurt. Though, this can only last while. (@BegalBitez)

Flash saw the wave of electricity around the jolteon and knew he had to be more careful. Seeing the way the jolteon protected its-self made Flash want to do the samething. He dug under and started collecting dirt, and rolling it around him. He then took some more dirt and started using the holes he emmerged from to throw dirt at the Jolteon. He then took a large chunk of dirt and threw it at the jolteon thinking it might hit it. Digging down, he knew he couldn't win against this jolteon. It was to adaptive, and dodged abit to much then it seemed shoud have happened. He started digging around. Clearing dirt to made a bigger hole then even the jolteon made.

As Edward made his way to breakfast on his first full day at the Battle Spire, he absentmindedly scrawled a few things in his notebook about the previous night's battle -

Conclusion: In addition to the need to maintain offensive pressure (See above), it appears that I also have to make sure that my team is constantly ready to dodge or block attacks. At this level, attacks could come from anywhere at any time. Speed and agility training should make both avoidance and attacking easier.

He shut the book upon arriving, swiping in with his new ID and getting some food for himself and his Pokemon.

"Well of course. There isn't really a limit on the things you can learn, especially about Pokemon and battling." Robin said. Glancing back at Shade and Ajax once again, Robin decided that he would stick around and watch for a little bit longer. The blue haired swordsman made his way over to a nearby tree, taking off his backpack and sword. He leaned the backpack against the tree before leaning against the tree himself, keeping his sword in his lap. Cherry jumped off his shoulder, curling up in his lap as well. His seat gave him a comfortable view of Shade and Ajax, as well as Shelia, while keeping him hidden from the training trainers.

Getting comfortable, Robin looked up at Shelia's Dragonite as he reflected on what Shelia had just said. Talking about Garchomp, Metagross, Salamence... As well as mentioning that she had a Kommo-o and Hydregion. Robin was starting to see a bit of a theme. Pokemon that were renown for their fierce and almost legendary strength. Heck, he wouldn't be surprised if she revealed she had a Tyranitar or a Goodra on her side as well.
"Wow. Pretty... cool if I do say so myself." Robin said with a grin. Cherry simply rolled her eyes. The trainer watched Ajax and Shade for a bit longer before turning back to Shelia once again.
"So... I do have a bit of a question about the Battle Spire, if you don't mind." Robin said. "Is it considered... I dunno, rude? Against the rules? For a first-timer participant like me to challenge a Spire Master?"

@Merciless Medic

Ajax laughed uncontrollably for a moment "That right there Shade is the attitude which is holding you back, if you treat training as just training you will never be able to improve beyond your current level. Turbo has every right to be angry, if we weren't here then I doubt Gar would have a very good time. However, she knows to control herself for now." Hitari let out a single cry from behind Shelia and Robin having snuck up upon the pair without making any noise "and as for our two not so secret observers, this is a private training exercise, and I do not appreciate you watching from the bushes. I was Global Special Police, I hunted the people so radical even Teams Galatic, Plasma and Flare kicked them out. You weren't going to sneak up on us that easily." Ajax turned to face the direction of his Greninja who lead the pair into the clearing.

( I apologize for the intrusion, but considering Amelia hasn't gotten anyresponded, time for some plug in play RP stratagems.)

Amelia was wandering around the Spire, paying careful attention to any details noted around the area. Hydreigon was clearly agitated and desired something different. Something challenging, radiating darkness no pokemon overhead the right to keep, but it was both Amelia'sfault and not simultaneously, but couldn't help be responsible . Something that would help it learn. Amelia didn't want her best friend to be soangry, so she looked around for anyone, anything , to interact with so both can be distracted from the ever growing tendrils of Darkness circling their minds.

Eventually, her eyes eventually met a group of trainers. While she didn't want to intrude, she sort of had nothing to lose. She calmed as she could, though trembling with every single step, towards the opposition. The quaking trainer and the wrathful Hydrrogon: Truly a strange group for any duelist. But there was one thing certain, that due to the waves of pressure emitting from this pokemon, and the powerful wrath held back by a tiny thread , this pokemon was not one best to provoke.

As she heard Ajax's response, she flinched back, ber eyes widened, the fearful look if a barely confident young lady was visible. Her response was sweet and filled with apologetic tones, accompanied by frequent bowing and even so much as casting her eyes down, shuffling her feat timidly "I-I'm sorry for intruding. I just... w-wanted some company, since I'm very lost, and Hades.. Umm... Took me here " . She said, her eyes welling up with tears , legitimately feeling bad for intruding in such a manner.

Jolt was caught trying to protect himself with electricity, but he just couldn't keep it up. It failed before the dirt was even thrown at the Jolteon, and he was getting too tired to do anything. Eva concerned and she would either have to let Jolt get knocked out trying to fight a fast bug or she returns Jolt and has another Pokemon do this easier. She decided that returning Jolt to allow him to rest for a bit would work and so she returned Jolt, replacing him with Vapor, the Vaporeon. She created a sudden whirlpool, the water being sucked from the ground and spun about in a whirlpool around the Vaporeon. She then sent the water crashing into the tunnels, keeping most Pokemon that can't swim away from them while giving herself a place to use Dive and Surf. (@BegalBitez)

Meanwhile, Sheila got herself comfortable and chuckled at the question of asking for a battle with a Spire Master. "I mean, not really. Some would want to see you grow a bit before the Spire Masters beat you down with one Pokemon. It's not really rude though. They would just rather have you build your spirit to get better rather than take part in breaking it to the point of no repair."

When Ajax's Talonflame and Greninja - and by extension Ajax - caught them looking, Sheila sighed and walked out to the clearing, waving at Ajax and Shade. Looking over, she saw Amelia. Raising an eyebrow, she listened to what she said before looking back at Robin. "Were you asking because you wanted to challenge one of us?"

Shade watched as Sheila and Amelia came out of the brush, with a Dragonite and Hydreigon in tow. She then shook her head and interjected as soon as Ajax was done with his bit. "Well, I use myself as a dummy at times and I train them to kill and maim."

Sheila didn't seem all too bothered by Shade's training, but it did catch her a bit off. Shade sighed and let out all of her Pokemon. Out came her Alolan Raichu, Chu; then Gengar, Gar; her Hydreigon, Schwartz; Malamar, Zim; Reuniclus, Mitosis; a female Jellicent, Princess; Houndoom, Doom; and a Decidueye, Robin. Chu floated about happily before realizing training was about to get underway. Schwartz roared loudly, which put everyone of Shade's team at attention as they stood up as tall as they could, waiting for any orders from their trainer. Gar had a little smile on his face, until he peered over at Turbo. His smile fell into more of a grimace - not because he held anything bad about Turbo, but because he felt bad. The rest of Shade's Pokemon all stood firm as they looked at Ajax - well, except for Robin. He was preening his feathers. (@Frontier Master, @Captain Cardboard, @The Legendary Trainer)

"Oof, wow. Those sound almost like fighting words." Robin said. But when he glanced back to Shelia, he found that the wild lady was being, well... completely serious. But before he had the chance to comment on it, a Pokemon's cry caught him off guard. The swordsman flinched, nearly falling over in surprise. His Plusle was startled as well, having not noticed the Greninja's stealthy approach, and leapt into her trainer's arms. Feeling a little sheepish and called out, Robin climbed back to his feet and picked up his backpack. At the same time, Cherry climbed back onto Robin's shoulders. Rubbing the back of neck with a sheepish grin, Robin followed Shelia into the clearing.
"Uh... Sorry." Robin called over to Ajax before turning back to Shelia.

"Well, yeah. I want to challenge a Spire Master. And believe me, if what that little red book that was given to me when I got to this island is right, I know I'll get a royal ass kicking. Heck, I made sure to let my Pokemon know that, coming to this place, we'd probably end up getting our asses kicked a lot." Robin said, reaching up and petting Cherry once again. The Plusle let out a happy chirp before nuzzling against Robin's face. "I've faced a lot of people before. As have pretty much everyone on this island has, I assumed. And I've been in more battles than I can count where me and my Pokemon have gotten completely curb-stomped. I've faced powerful Pokemon that have swept my entire team before. I've faced Pokemon that have knocked out mine in single blows. It'll take more than getting my team swept by a single Pokemon to break me and my Pokemon's spirits. After all, you gotta be tough to come to this island, right? Being tough is more than just physical strength."

At that moment, Robin finally noticed all the Pokemon Shade had let out. Two of them he had recognized, an Alolan Raichu and Houndoom. So this really was the same Shade from that mansion! A small world. Robin considered calling out to say hello, but she seemed busy with being about to train with Ajax. He would simply say hello later. Although, now that he was thinking about it, Robin was slightly confused as to why Ajax's Greninja was leading them into the clearing rather than making them go away.

Flash, was still digging his pit, his progress being about 10 by 7 feet, going 5 fett deep at the moment. He did run into a few more tunnel ways along his path, but all in all it was looking great in progress. He heard a noise, echo though the tunnels above him, that sounded like...water? That didn't seem right. Jolteons are about electric, not water. With speed coursing through his veins, Flash continued to dig all of the dirt to continue over and down. After a few seconds, and 2 feet in progress water started seeping into the tunnels. "I need to patch this up!" Flash thought hurredly. Taking some of the mud, the water created, he grabbed as much as he could and started filling in the holes around him, creating a barrier to block the water. He had to be careful now, if he ran into a tunnel, he would start being flooded. He dug, buzzed for a sonar and repeated.
========
Sasha saw the action unfold infront of him. The jolteon went back and vaporeon came in. Now that the tunnels were flooded, Sasha became worried, what would happen to Flash. As an instant message, Lucario forced his way out of his pokeball to Sasha's side. Since he was benched, Lucario was careful to not touch the battlefield. Then, as a small surge, Lucario communicated to Sasha: I sence calm, but hurry. Flash, okay, building big chasm. Vaporeon closing in though. You may want to use.......... "SASHA YAMOTO, PLEASE GET YOUR POKEMON OFF OF THE FEILD OR ELSE YOU WILL HAVE TO FOREFIET!!!!" The loud speaker boomed.
Lucario, put his paw on Sasha's shoulder. "Cari" he said. Lucario then turned around and walked to the bench tapping his pokeball, and returning in a red flash of energy. Sasha looked out to the battle field, worried but confindent on how his pokemon was doing.

Eva held her breath as she saw Sasha's Lucario come out of his PokeBall. She wasn't aware of what he was doing, but something occurred to her that, since Lucario were creatures that read and communicate via aura, maybe they had psychic abilities, as well. In fact, she fought a Lucario once, and that one could read their trainer's mind in combat, erasing the need for issuing commands out loud. That was when she realized what was going on and almost yelled out that he was cheating, only for the speaker to yell at Sasha about the clear offense to the battle at hand. As soon as the Lucario was returned, she issued her next command. "Freeze the entire field."

It was quiet, not like what she had been doing before, which was yelling. No, she was going to trap the Ninjask underground, and she didn't feel too happy about doing it either.

Vapor, calm and yet almost unsure, jumped in the air by smacking her tail on the ground and using Hydro Pump to propel herself high enough, and then switched to Ice Beam. The cryosphere built up in front of her mouth before she released an icy beam that began to coat the entire battlefield. She turned it completely into ice. Thankfully, she knew how to skate across its surface. In fact, all of her comrades could, just that Leaf preferred not to due to his weakness to the cold, and Flare would just melt right through the ice as soon as he presented herself over the frozen water. She used Hydro Pump to slow her decent as she fell down, landing in a freezing puddle at her feet and she began skating around, using her tail as a rudder to slow her speed or turn with extreme precision.

@BegalBitez (@Frontier Master, wondering if you are going to post soon)

"Leave now, as I have said this is a private training session. You are not welcome here... Sheila you stay if you wish, I believe Shade could benefit from your advice as well on her training. She and I had an excellent battle last night, though her Gengar decided to use the old destiny bond gambit, surprisingly it worked. Hence why Turbo here is ready to permanently blind him." Ajax called out to the small group his pokemon all tensing up to appear intimidating, they were all fairly private and reserved not at all focussed on becoming public displays. Battles were the only time they allowed themselves to be filmed or have their photos taken

Flash, dug, dug and dug more, the hole was massive, and the water made the bottom wet but not flooded. He wondered why the ground wasn't collapsing under the weight of the dirt. He flew up diggiing away up, until he hit ICE?!?!?! That wasn't good. He kept digging around and still more ice. He couldn't go out of bounds, no, he couldn't surface up. So, he kept digging. Waiting to find a stone to break the ice.

Amelia didn't want to intrude any longer. But, she genuinely had to ask this trainer something . She walked up to Ajay, despite the pokemon he had giving every type of warning to leave or possibly get hurt. But, she didn't worry about getting hurt as she didn't care too much for herself in that aspect. "Excuse me, I'm sorry for intruding but may I please stay ? I won't bother you or our trainee , I just would really appreciate it if I just watch & observe. Observing is the best way to learn for me , and observing a Spire Master may very well give me some tips about battling I could never get from a regular person. But, I... ". She looked down, here eyes cast in shadow . " I understand if you refuse, I'll leave without batting an eye. But I would really appreciate the opportunity". Despite her eyes cast in shadow, if one looked deep enough in her eyes, there would be the eyes of a real trainer with a willingness and drive to learn, just never had the opportunity to learn on her own before this time as it was always with Frankie and no one else.
