Interactions: Milliana Barlowe (Cmeriwether6)
Mentions: Jayden Jones and Kurashiki Ki (Hecotoro), Wilford Pine (sSoul)
Watching the other matches, Cole saw how formidable Kurashiki was, but ultimately fell to Wilford. He grinned. He was glad, it left him feeling satisfied a friend-... Yes, friend had continued on. Maybe, they would meet in after this if they both win.
Jayden, however, was a laughing stock. The girl's Metang won - his future opponent - and he couldn't help but laugh at how utterly stupid Jayden was with his Tinkatuff.
Oh well, now it was his turn against the Steel-Type user he had just seen wipe the floor with Jayden. From what he saw of this girl from the lobby, she had a Duraludon, a Metang, and an Alolan Sandshrew. He wasn't sure what else she had, but this should be easy.
After careful analysis and scouring the internet for base battling capabilities of the three Pokemon, he found out that Duraludon had rather weak Special Defense with decent Speed, and had great offensive and physical defense capabilities. He would definitely expect the Duraludon, especially since it was only weak to Fighting and Ground. Given it's better at ranged though, it would be better to get up close, unless she was one of those dimwits who saw a big metal thing and trained it to be physical without actually knowing of its greater ranged potential.
The Alolan Sandshrew likely won't be seen, as their defenses and speed were really lacking. Even though the physical offense and defense were both good, that still didn't make the speed it had any better. The Metang had pretty good defenses, with physical being better, and a good physical attack, but was rather slow and weak when it came to ranged. It was funny how three of these Pokemon were all susceptible to ranged combat, and it made him smile. He didn't know what else she had, but he had little faith in her other Pokemon, as it seemed she would most likely use her Metang and Duraludon for most of the fights.
Her commands were lacking in creativity. Despite having just trained it, his newest Pokemon held quite the knack for commands and using them creatively. As to be expected from a pack Pokemon.
When it was his next turn and after a quick visit to the Pokemon Center's conveniently placed vendor - knowing he'd be using two Pokemon now - he put the two Pokeballs at the forefront of his belt before walking out for the next match.
He couldn't wait to pummel and melt his opposition~.
