~Slowking...~

Slowking was so used to being picked up now that it didn't even phase him this time. The only question now was where were they headed, err... Who was Papyrus talking about? New friends? Sounds promising. Slowking eventually saw a red creature. He looked like a pokemon too. Slowking was relatively confused at this point. First there was a boomerang kid, a goblin, papyrus, and slowking. Then there was just the three. Then big armored apes with guns, and now this! After a good yawn slowking easily made sense of the situation. Slowking smiled and waved.

Slowking looked at the boy and his dinosaur, "You must be a pokémon trainer. "I'd prefer no fighting, and please don't throw any pokéballs. I loathe dealing with those contraptions" Slowking said.

"Well if your nice, then we're nice. It makes sense, ya know? Trust is a mutual thing" Slowking said in regards to knuckles's comment.

~Guile...~

Guile tilted his head to avoid the acorn, then as the raccoon made his move, Guile barely had time to react. Guile used a crescent kick to push the racoon away from himself. Guile's side was cut but his kick managed to push him far enough that his organs were just fine. He kicked the racoon away. Guile smiled when the bug came in to save the day. Guile saw this oppertunity to lay a finishing blow, Guile crouched down and used flash explosion, "Knowing!... When!... To... STRIKE!" Guile yelled before launching several powerful kicks. "The others probably need our help as well" Guile said to the beetle-like character.

Kirby-Jungle
Unfortunately, the feyrbrand had fallen before KIrby could've shot an arrow into it. As the beast collapsed, Kirby raised his nubs and cheered, preparing his signature victory dance before he noticed a familiar face show up.
It was Gunvolt!
Kirby cheered again, greeting the male happily before tilting his head in innocent noncomprehension. Why would Gunvolt need a key? Did he lock himself out of his home?
Kirby shook his head, his questioning "Poyo?" indicating his lack of knowledge.
First Donkey Kong, now Gunvolt. He wondered how many other friends were around.

Dark Matter VS Metal Sonic-Field of Hopes and Dreams
Dark Matter reacted as Metal changed tactics. When he cancelled his attack Dark Matter cancelled his decent, rising quickly and narrowly avoiding the stones.
The metal being didn't appear to care for his words, so he found no need to stay.
"This was simply a warning. Shadow Link is not to be trusted."
With that, Dark Matter dived into the purple grass below, melting into the earth as a shadow before making a hasty retreat, slithering away from Metal Sonic. Though deep down, he was unsure of he could flee from a being with two keys.

Amaterasu VS GateKeepers-Garreg Mach
Amaterasu growled as the bird began flying with her current. However, the earth bug began aiding...kind of. The stones flew around Amaterasu alongside Wrastor, but had yet hit the bird man. However, the tornado had run it's course, dissipating and launching the stones away.
Amaterasu wasn't sure what the bird would do, so she simply swung her Rosary around herself once, which would snap against Wrastor if he was too close as well as chill them.

Papyrus
Wowza. These people looked okay but the hostility that clung to their words managed to dampen the skeleton's mood ever-so-slightly, though he was back to full capacity in a split second. They probably just needed a cool skeleton to raise their spirits. That was it. Slowking answered for them, but Papyrus was quick to follow up by dropping the pink creature unceremoniously to the ground and placing a hand importantly upon his chest, making sure he turned his body at an angle so that the slight gusting of wind made his cape billow out behind him, giving him his desired 'heroic' look.

"FEAR NOT!" He shrilled. 'MY NAME IS THE GREAT PAPYRUS, EMPHASIS ON GREAT! I AM HERE BECAUSE WE WERE RUNNING FROM THESE BIG HAIRY MONSTERS. THEY REALLY STANK, BUT I DIDN'T CRY! FOR YOU SEE, I HAD TO GET MY FRIEND OUT OF THERE!" He gestured toward Slowking. "OTHERWISE I SURELY WOULD HAVE PLACED THOSE DASTARDLY VILLAINS IN THEIR PLACE AND ASSERTED NOT ONLY JUSTICE, BUT MY BONELY DOMINANCE!"
They didn't seem thoroughly convinced, so quickly, the skeleton rose his gloved hand to his chin, stroking lightly there for a moment, clearly in deep thought. "I KNOW! YOU MUST BE HUNGRY! NOT TO WORRY, NEW FRIENDS! THE GREAT PAPYRUS ALWAYS COMES PREPARED!"
Dashing his arm behind him, he suddenly pulled a plate of spaghetti seemingly out of thin air, presenting it gleefully to the others. "BEHOLD! A PLATE OF CRAFT-FULLY COOKED SPAGHETTI!"

Undyne
As Tails concluded his adorable little seal of approval on the continuation of their adventure, Undyne couldn't help but smirk at the mech that was barely taller than her. "That was super anime of you." She stated. "And I am living for it."
"We will be dying if we are not careful." Sub-Zero claimed, folding his arms over his chest, brow furrowing, mouth obscured behind his mask. "Their factory remains operational, for now. Either we destroy it, or their airship first."
"The airship, duh." Undyne replied, spinning a spear in her hand before resting it casually on her shoulder. "If we just target factories they'll just build more."

"And they'll have consistent reinforcements so long as the factories remain." Sub-Zero countered. "We need a compromise. Better yet, we need to recruit more to our cause."
Undyne was about to retort, before she mulled over the words. Nagisa expected them to be scared and retreat. So... what if they just... "Okay, idea." Undyne grinned, glancing around at them. "What if we leave, make the brats think they've scared us off. We go find some more people to help, then we come back stronger than ever."

Master Chief
Geo was first to try a sensible reply to the upbeat Bennett. While John envied his optimism, it was liable to end up causing more harm than preventing it in regards to certain situations. Chief wasn't certain who Geo meant at the end of his sentence. He and Cortana still knew very little about this fog. So perhaps he meant Scorpion, who had spent a long time within, making him undoubtedly the most likely to have an answer.

So as expected, it was the ninja who answered. "It is as though the Otherworld is... bleeding through into this one." Scorpion cautiously moved his hand through the fog before him, though nothing happened. "this darkness should only come when the siren calls."
The siren. When the world had gone dark and those mutilated children had emerged. John wasn't likely to forget that any time soon. Grip tightening slightly, the Spartan eyed his motion tracker, but it was next to useless. The 75 meter radius was picking up movement all around them from every angle. Thousands of angry red dots buzzing around the radar.
Then, he felt his stomach twist slightly. Alternatively, the radar might not be malfunctioning, and there truly was thousands of hostiles surrounding them in the black, dense fog.

Quickly, he turned off his flood lamps and leveled his rifle- just in case. This caught the attention of the others, but the Spartan didn't immediately speak, instead narrowing his eyes as he aimed about the fog. This was proving fruitless, however. He simply couldn't look past it, but he didn't fail to notice the way the red dots seemed to be getting closer to them.
"There's something here." John stated. "They always are." Scorpion affirmed. "Watching. Waiting. Hunting."
"Scorpion." Cortana's voice escaped Chief's helmet. "Think you can hurl a fireball through the fog?"
The ninja didn't really seem to want to do that- but followed through, the hellfire materializing in his hand before he tossed it spinning into the fog, which consumed it. After a mere second, the fireball exploded against something, bursting into brilliant flames that illuminated the fog briefly before them, displaying the shadows of dozens of creatures around them, all of which were quick to dart from the light as it diminished.

Damnit. So they were surrounded. "Run." He ordered the others immediately, letting his MA5C hum to life before he began firing through the fog, his shots casting quick bursts of light that illuminated their position. "Run! I'll hold the rear!" The Spartan commanded as a howl filled the air. A deathly, chilling howl, like a thousand voices crying out in unison. It was hauntingly melodic, but sounded... off. As though they weren't howls of attack, but instead, cries of pain, stretched into a harmonious note of agony.
John made sure to fire in short, controlled bursts, trying to conserve what ammo he had left, keeping the height of the creatures in mind. It wasn't the Pyramid Head, nor was it the Grey Children. These were something else.

Sans
"We should leave." Vio stated. "We did not gain anything from this battle. Only time wasted away. We should keep our objective in mind."
"only time wasted?" Sans chuckled at Vio's callous statement. "either you're kiddin' me, or you're dumber than you look."
"Excuse me?" Vio asked, clearly not all that enthused at the comment Sans had made as Gunvolt moved over toward Kirby to ask the pink demon a question.

"experience is gained, not given." The skeleton elaborated. "sure, there's other things to do, but at the end of the day, you learned two things." Raising a finger, the skeleton's grin widened. "you learned how to bring down a tough foe that would have otherwise crushed you had you been alone," He raised a second finger. "and you learned strengths and weaknesses of your team moving forward. you ask me, this was time well spent. i learned a lot, personally, though i suppose if you're ignorant and lack perception it might've been a 'waste of time', objective in mind or not." Sans shrugged.

Audrey Redheart

Silence. That's all she could hear, despite her allies talking around her. She knew of what was happening, a weird new ally and all that, but she couldn't bring herself to move away from the thing she had just killed. She killed before, heck her quest would've killed billions...
So why did seeing it squirm and getting covered in blood make it so much more...conflicting?

Well, at least she was the one who finished the thing off. That's what the hero's supposed to do, after all, take down monsters...mercy kill them if need be.
Mercy kill... Ah, that was basically what her quest was, wasn't it? Well, in that case, it was right, wasn't it? It was either that or more pain. What was there to be guilty about?

This thought in mind, Audrey, finally returned to the real world, wiping the green blood off of her face and clothes in an attempt to look presentable again. She dragged her sword out of it soon after , whipping it to the side to get blood off before holding it over her shoulder, turning to see that weird pink puffball.
"…hey?" She said, confused by the sight of the puffball. And more importantly, why did she feel like something was bubbling up in her insides? She felt like she was gonna be...

"Uh..."

His sword began to slowly go down as the conversation continued. This guy wasn't a villain...he was a wimp. Was he some kind of merchant? Either way, he didn't look like he had a fighting bone in his body. ...was that a pun? Shaking his head, he sheathed his blade, placing Blue's trophy on the ground.

"Where did...you guys come from?" He asked from morbid curiosity.

Bennett, Red, & E-102 Gamma

"Huh? Aw... I thought it was a good plan..." Bennett frowned.

Bennett however would soon realize the folly of this, as he would see the now revealed monsters in the mist ahead. Red immediately panicked, whimpering as he clung close to Gengar.

"Run!"

Red clambered to his feet to run out of there, Bennett cautiously mimicking chief's movements. However, Gamma had no intentions of Running away. After the silhouettes of the creatures appeared in the fog, his optics filled out glowing targets on each of them. Releasing pulses of high frequency sound waves as echolocation, they would not easily evade his sights. Locked on. A flurry of warheads shot out from his silo, one warhead per target. He was no human. He had no such weakness as fear. As his sensors detected more and more approaching, its became clear that the rest of the squad would be destroyed without his assistance. After a thrust from his jet, he took a couple meters into the air, flying overhead of the rest of the team carefully watching them as he continued to cover their blind spots

Vio
Jungle

This one sure was full of themselves. As the skeleton went on a long tangent on the experience and how to take something out, Vio wasn't about to let a skeleton of all things lecture him on pros and cons.

"False. This entire endeavor is a distraction from our main objective. I care little about what you think I lack in perception, but forgive me if I take that critique with a grain of salt from someone who has no eyes."

The skeleton couldn't fight, couldn't get along, and certainly wasn't as amusing as he thought he was. Truly this only strayed them further away from their objective. The others could die at any time to monsters such as this, why would he waste his time fighting one when he could be saving the others from whatever peril bit at them?

"Regardless, we have a mission to complete. Now if you'd be on your way."

Brushing past the brash skeleton to whom he found little meaning in conversation from, he instead made his way to Gunvolt, who proved to be
At least another human. Having briefly talked with Audrey, it was his turn.

"Hello, might I ask for a portion of your time?" Vio asked. "Have you seen someone with similar garb to me? Perhaps in Blue, Red, or Green colorations?"

Papyrus
"WELL THAT'S EASY!" The skeleton grinned brightly. "I CAME FROM MY HOUSE! THOUGH IF YOU MEAN CONCEPTUALLY, I... AM UNCERTAIN. BUT IF YOU ASK MY BROTHER SANS, HE MIGHT KNOW!"
The reminder of Sans suddenly made Papyrus feel... sad. Usually he couldn't stand his brothers incessant puns and lame jokes, but right about now? He really missed him. More than ever. Come to think of it, this was the longest he'd ever been without Sans.

Glancing down at Slowking, Papyrus patted a gloved hand on its head. "AND SLOW ASGORE HERE IS FROM MY HOME TOO! WELL, NOT MY HOME SPECIFICALLY, HE DOESN'T LIVE IN MY HOUSE OR ANYTHING, BUT I'M SURE HE LIVES SOMEWHERE AROUND WATERFALL. WHAT ABOUT YOU?" Deciding to be polite, Papyrus decided to ask the question back.

Scorpion
The missiles, Chief's bullets, they didn't seem to have much effect. At least not in stopping the incoming horde. They were blind here, and even his radar was beginning to flash in and out, indicating a shift in the fog. If Gamma hadn't struggled to see via echolocation, he would now, reality seeming to bend and shift, not to mention the ear-piercing howling echoing all around, and the ringing of Chief's gunfire and Gamma's explosions was undoubtedly messing with that.

He wasn't one to run. Not usually. The Spartan had stood his ground against the unthinkable time and time again, but this? With those under his care? He couldn't risk these kids getting harmed. Something that stood out in his mind, however, was reuniting the petrified Red with his brothers.

"Go, Spartan, go!" Cortana urged as the Chief set a brisk pace so the others wouldn't fall behind, moving ahead of them to direct them before falling back to provide cover fire, though Gamma seemed to have that covered- until the warheads stopped coming. John assumed Gamma had run out, and the noises grew closer and closer. It didn't feel like they'd made a dent in the incoming creatures, which surged toward them like an unstoppable wave...

Then it was gone. The only void had disappeared as well. The white fog had returned, and it seemed lighter than before. Less menacing.
John slowed his pace, frowning Ashe stared about. They were no longer on the street, but instead... past the front entrance of an amusement park, a wall of black behind them to prevent them from trying to leave. Probably.

In massive, bubbly letters, the park's name was spelled out before them;

LAKESIDE AMUSEMENT PARK

Sans
As Vio made his annoyed retort, the skeleton's grin just seemed to grow wider and wider with each syllable, before Vio finally told Sans to leave, and stalked over toward Gunvolt, sticking his nose in the air. Did he even realize he stuck his nose in the air or was that just the priss attitude?
Either way, Sans didn't much care. He chuckled as Vio turned his back to him, before winking with his left eye. "sure thing. see ya around, kiddo." With that, the skeleton turned and walked away, disappearing into the thicket of trees.
Unbeknownst to Vio, a paper had been taped to his back that said 'kick me' written in comic sans font.

Donkey Kong huffed as he looked at Buzzwole next to him, flexing. Grinning, the Kong began to do the same, probably starting an unintentional flex-off in the process.

Psyduck
Seeing his muscular friends flexing, Psyduck joined in. His chubbyness wasn't all too flattering in this pose, but The Duck didn't seem to notice. He was in the middle of his flabfest, when he noticed a piece of paper on the back of some human. Psyduck squinted, and it seemed to read 'kick', followed by a word he didn't recognize. But the 'kick' was good enough for him. He was just waiting for an excuse to hit a human, plus he had a particular distaste for the color purple. Not to mention he was a friend of that blasted Waddle Dee (which we unfortunately never got to reconcile). A dastardly grin crossed his beak. Finally. He could hit a human with no repercussions, because surely the human knew the sign was there. The Duck leaned forward, assuming a runner's starting position, and then...

BANG!!!

Imagining a gunshot going off, Psyduck sprinted toward Vio at top speed, kicking up dust clouds behind him. At half the distance closed, he cried out, "Psy-DUUUUUUUUCK!" and then leapt into the air, twisting in the air to position himself horizontally, and aiming a dropkick right into the lower back of the worst of the four Links.

Tabby

Retreat? Why? They took out the last guy with Undyne unconscious and Tails mechless, now that those two got into better fighting shape, what's another child in a mech? Frankly, Tabby thought that plan was stupid. He'd fight that thing alone if he needed to though, destroying mechs and robots was the name of the game for him, anyways. He shook his tablet head and turned towards where the airship was docked, drawing his energy katana. And, whether or not his allies followed him, he set off in the direction of Excalibur.

Kilton spotted a group in the strangely colored grass, and grabbed a couple octorok balloons he was using to stay airborne, deflating them for later use. As he floated downwards, he saw it was the Stalian and Royalblin talking to a bunch of Hylians. And that one in green... that one was familiar. Also, he spotted another... more sinister-looking duo stalking them, but he was still much too high to warn them of anything.

The Knight eyed up his prey. He had healed plenty by taking the pain of card-creatures that seemed to be common in this biome, Jevil enjoying messing around with them as well. Now, these seemed different, like the green man and white rat from earlier. And now there were more of them. He decided that the skeleton seemed most dangerous out of the group, but out of the ones with their backs facing them... there was a white-haired one that was the only one visibly wearing armor. That would be the first one to be taken out, no doubt. He beelined for Copen without another thought, the weight of his armor seemingly not slowing the dash. He thrust out his sword, looking to make a kebab out of Copen's skull.

Garreg Mach
Kragg swatted away a stone that flew at him as the tornado dissipated, and then summoned a stone pillar to throw himself into the air at the bird, and Abyss Wrastor easily dodged. This distracted it though, and it did not notice Amaterasu's attack in time as it flew right into the ice whip. The bird took a tumble, but only had to take a second to regain its composure. It stood and opened its wings, about to take off... but was interrupted by a big rock smashing into it, the origin being Kragg. Abyss Wrastor faded into black mist.

The attack was interrupted by a kick, sending the raccoon through the air. A bug creature dashed through it, leaving a giant gash, and then, it fell victim to a pincer of nail and foot. This was enough to finish it, as it faded into a dark mist as well.

As this happened, the purple shields over the Gatekeepers fell. These two retaliated by summoning multiple explosions upon each enemy, though each attack preceded by a one-second indicator in the form of scary-looking dark orbs.

It was sure enough that the Tablet was heading right into the fray! Chasing after Nagisa's mech toward the building ahead. Tails couldn't let Tabby be lost. Without him, their odds of breaching the place were going to drop substantially.

"We can't let him run off on his own!"

The mech's legs moved out, clanking on the floor with surprising grace for a machine, it's speed supplemented by a thruster on the back of the Typhoon. He wasn't about to leave his friend behind.

"A...Park?"

Bennett scratched his head. They had just outrun the horde that came their way, the mist seeming to be less centralized in this location. Looking around at the atmosphere of the place compared to the previously dark locations, it was much brighter. That in itself was a change of pace. After five seconds of waiting in silence, everyone staring up at the logo, Bennett broke the silence.

"Well, I think it looks fun!"

"T-That's not what we should be focused on!" Red corrected.

Bennett's one tracked mind had taken Red by surprise, who was still wiping off tears from their previous misadventure. He just wanted to leave with everyone alive and well, Alessa included. Not linger any longer than required.

Gamma flew in a few seconds later than this exchange, landing behind them. The Warheads were seen reloading into their Registered slots on the Silo while steam came from the barrel of his gun. He had given an earnest fight.

As he came over to Gunvolt, his ear twitched upon a certain aquatic creature yelling it's name coming behind him. Him again? Of all places? Turning his blade to the side, he would get into a fencing posture. Putting and behind his back, he'd swivel around, aiming to bat the duck to the side with the blunt end of his sword, not meaning to actually kill the duck. That's when his hand behind his back felt something odd.

"...hm?"

Taking the paper and bringing it to view, he saw a crudely made 'kick me' scribbled onto it with the artistic talent of a second grader. Mildly annoyed by the inconvenience no doubt caused by the Skeleton, he crumpled it and tossed it aside. That was a matter for another time.

Gunvolt - Jungle

"Haven't seen it?" Well, it was worth a shot. Standing up, Gunvolt turned to face the human in purple talking to him. Apparently, he was looking for others similar to him, just wearing different colors.

"I'm afraid not." He replied, shaking his head. "Besides Audrey over there, you're the only other human I've seen in this place. Hope you find the ones you're looking for." With that, he glanced over at Joule, who was flying back towards him. "Joule, found anything?"

"The key's definitely near us, GV. Can't figure out exactly where it is, but the energy coming from it is really strong here." She told the Azure Striker, who began looking around the area. Maybe it's underground or hidden in a tree?

The teen was snapped out of his thoughts by Psyduck's cry, the Pokémon attempting to dive kick the purple-robed human, being quickly swat aside. Confused, Gunvolt eyed the paper saying 'kick me' on Vio's back, which was subsequently thrown away by the elf. Probably Sans' doing.

The Azure Striker winced as he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his stomach, and it faded just as quick as it appeared. That can't be good...! They needed to find that key soon. It was probably best the group didn't stick around for too long.

"That monster's poison might have lasting effects." He told the others. "We need to find that key soon..."

Copen - Field of Hopes and Dreams

It turned out the pink creature was capable of speech as well, though it didn't surprise Copen. Excluding Hunter's vivosaurs, every animal-like creature he'd seen thus far was able to communicate just like a human would. The skeleton- who had introduced himself as the Great Papyrus- explained their own situation and how they had been running from some 'big hairy monsters'.

From what he could tell, the taller newcomer seemed the kind of person to view themselves as a hero and end up in dangerous situations as a result. The two didn't appear to be hostile though, which was a relief. If the team were to get into another confrontation... he doubted the remaining members would survive for long.

Copen lowered his weapon and shook his head as the skeleton offered spaghetti. He didn't need to eat, and it was best if the others had some food if they needed it. If it was even edible, of course. He wasn't too sure skeletons made for qualified cooks. He thought back to Papyrus' mention of fleeing from monsters. If they had come from the west, then it meant the area wasn't too safe. Stealth would be required if they wanted to survive.

While the teen pondered the team's strategy for the upcoming area, Lola's sensors picked up three heat signatures near the group. One was high above them, while the other two seemed to be behind them. It was only when one of them suddenly dashed towards the team that the A.I. spoke up.

"Enemy behind us! Boss, watch out!"

"Guh...!"

Copen's injuries made it difficult for him to move as quickly as he wanted, thus negating him what would have otherwise been a simple dodge. Only able to turn around and stumble sideways in an attempt to avoid the incoming attack, the Knight's blade struck. While the attack didn't manage to stab him as intended, it still dealt a cut across his face and some good damage. The armored figure's weapon drew no blood, however. Instead, what fell to the ground were... small metal shards? If one were to look at the white-haired teen, they would spot metal on the cut area, seemingly lying beneath his skin.

Stumbling backwards in pain, Copen gave the Knight an angered glare. "Got no time for this... Let's make it quick." Gritting his teeth, he performed a Bullit Dash towards his enemy, aiming to place a tag on him so Lola could unleash Stellar Spark, encasing the Knight in an electric field for a few seconds. If he were to miss, three electric streams would shoot out in an attempt to harm the enemy.

The Knight - Garreg Mach Monastery

With all the dark creatures defeated, the shields surrounding the giant eyes vanished. The Knight saw this as a chance to attack directly, quickly heading towards a wall in order to strike the Gatekeepers. A purple explosion managed to strike the Vessel, sending it flying a decent distance before it struck a wall. Getting its bearings, the bug began jumping up the wall using its Mantis Claw.

Once it gained enough height, the Vessel would leap off, using its Monarch Wings to go even higher and position itself above one of the Gatekeepers. With that done, the Knight would use Descending Dark again, aiming to crash down at incredible speeds and deal great damage to one of the eyes.

The darkner's grin widened as the Knight dashed forward without a word. Good, good! Perhaps his friend would prove himself useful this time! His ally's attack hadn't worked as well as they hoped, but it still did some damage, so Jevil was fine with it. As the rather emo-looking Lightner dashed towards the Knight to attack, Jevil dashed forward shockingly fast, leaving afterimages of himself as he went. Once he neared Copen, he spun around, scythe in hand, aiming for the lower part of the boy's body, hoping to slice through him like a warm knife through butter. Meanwhile, two other Jevils appeared high up in the air. One lifted his hand up, dozens upon dozens of spades appearing in the air, before bringing his hand down, causing the spades to rain down upon the group, Kilton included. Meanwhile, the third Jevil went for a more direct attack, causing several bombs to head to the group (excluding Copen due to his close proximity to Jevil and Knight, and Kilton due to his height). Once these bombs exploded, several heart-shaped projectiles would home in on the group (again, excluding Copen and Kilton).

Meanwhile, Knuckles didn't even have time to turn his nose up to the rather gross-looking spaghetti as the spades began to rain down. He grunted and dug into the ground to take cover from the attacks, although the explosions grazed him. Once the attacks were over, he emerged from the ground, looking towards his allies to see if they survived.

The doctor stroked his mustache, twisting it a bit as Prometheus spoke. As the reploid mocked him, Eggman squinted behind his glasses, frowning slightly. "Now that you have decades to be ignorant, why not take today off?" Robotnik replied snappily, before gesturing to the screen again, video footage beginning to play. It showed HannibalX destroying the Scarab, and then showed a bio of Nagisa, revealing that he controlled the robot. It then cut to footage of Tabby cutting through a large pile of Monokuma robots with ease, and Undyne holding her ground against an army of them. It then cut to Sonic boosting through an army of badniks and helping destroy Mark Guyver, along with him directly destroying Jataro's robot. It then showed Tails piloting an airplane, skillfully avoiding a barrage of projectiles. The footage ended and Eggman turned to Prometheus. "Now, are you prepared to cause anarchy?"

Gengar
The purple ghost didn't need to be told twice, quickly beginning to fly away, although he couldn't fly too fast as he needed to stay close to Elf Boy as they ran. The chase didn't last very long though, as they quickly reached an area apparently known as 'Lakeside Amusement Park'. Gengar cocked his head to the side, the place looked abandoned. BUT, an amusement park was still an amusement park. If anything, it was better that it was abandoned, no long lines! Gengar let out a few happy 'gengar' noises before flying around the place. He spun around a carousel at incredibly high speeds, causing purple wind to appear around it and the carousel to move without being turned on.
The ghost noticed that the group wasn't sharing his happiness, and frowned, before getting an idea. He looked towards a nearby prize corner and made the plushies float towards the group, before flying off again, seemingly to have more fun. This guess would soon be proved true as several happy Gengar laughs were heard in the distance.

Neo Metal Sonic
The metallic hedgehog lowered his hand as Dark Matter sunk into the ground, retreating. Cowardly. The robot thought to himself, before standing still for a moment, charging up, before he was surrounded by an orange glow. He personally didn't care for these matters, as he knew he could take out the dark being at any time if he needed to. However, Shadow Link probably did care, wanting the loose end wrapped up. Metal looked up to the shadow-gremlin and nodded his head towards the direction Dark Matter went, asking if he should give chase.

Sonic the Hedgehog
The blue blur frowned as Sub-Zero interrupted, stating his thoughts on the matter. There was a little back and forth between Undyne and the ice ninja before Sub-Zero stated they needed to recruit more to their cause. What? Wait? But they were already right here! Sonic thought to himself, thinking that the plan was stupid. Tabby seemed to agree with him, running off towards the airship. Sonic grinned, approving of that plan. However, Tails and the rest did not, beginning to give chase.
"We can't let him run off on his own!" Tails said.
Sonic jogged along with the mech, keeping up with it easily. "He won't be alone, I'll watch his back! I personally think it's stupid to leave when we're already here, but if you guys want to, that's fine by me! We can split up for now. Tabby and I will keep things under control here, maybe take care of that kid we met a few minutes ago, and you guys can go get more people! If they think you've retreated, they'll leave you alone and start focusing on us, losing resources. When you come back with more, they'll never see it coming!" The hedgehog stated with a grin.

Shadow link cocked his head at the robot, giving a sassy finger point toward himself in response to the question.

"Me? I'm not your master, why not exercise those free will muscles a bit? After all, influencing things is too predictable, I rather see how the dice land."

Twirling a finger in the air as he watched the now miserable Dark Matter slinking away in a darkness puddle. Oh so vulnerable.

Another attack...?!

They couldn't withstand too much of this. He was almost at his limit already from his bout with Shadow Link. He had to rely on these new arrivals or Copen in order to stand a chance. With that in mind, he tossed his shield right as Jevil was about to hack into Copen, the shield being sliced apart in his place, but thankfully leaving the synthetic alive.

"If you guys are so friendly...can you help us out?!" He directed toward Slowking and Papyrus

~Slowking...~

Slowking adjusted himself after he was sat down, "Thankyou for getting us out of there, Papyrus" Slowking said cheerfully to Papyrus for getting them away from the needle gun wielding brutes.

Slowking yawned before looking around, "I'm not entirely sure how we got here either... One second, we're being shot at in some ruins part of town. The next, my friend picks me up and we're moving. Really fast, and soon we're here. Not much else to say really. You can call me Slowking by the way" Slowking chimed in.

Slowking looked over at Papyrus confused, "I'm sure we will see him. He has to be out there somewhere, probably looking for you as well" Slowking cheered.

"Actually I live by a cliffside. No waterfall but the ocean it right next to the cliffside, and so is the beach, as well as most of my friends there" Slowking said excitedly.

Slowking turned and looked at Copen, "Enemy? Oh dear... Another one..." Slowking said hesitantly. Slowking saw Copen's injuries. Slowking ran over to the robot, and used heal pulse on him in hopes of healing its wounds, "Here goes nothing" Slowking said before focusing on his move. Slowking saw some of the others already fighting the dark creatures. First armored brutes, and now these creatures. Looks like this was gonna be quite a story to tell to his friends, should Slowking ever return to his home in Johto.

Slowking stumbled back upon seeing the enemies Copen spoke about, "Oh dear..." Slowking went, before regaining his posture. He looked around for areas to stand behind for cover. Slowking briefly glanced over, "Is that Kilton?" Slowking said before looking back at the enemy. Slowking then glanced over at green, "Uuhh... Uuggh... I'll see what I can do" Slowking used power gem to to block the spade attack. After the bomb attack was used, Slowking managed to run outside the bomb's blast radius. A homing projective went for him. Slowking used zen headbutt to counter it.

~Guile...~

One after the next. The creatures faded to mist. Guile turned his attention to the orbs. He fired his sonic boom attack at the eye to help knight out in attacking the orbs. Guile didn't know what effect this would have, but he had a hunch the floating orbs may have something to do with it. Perhaps the eyes had something to do with them all being at Garreg Mach. At this point, it seemed like the only reasonable explanation.

Psyduck
Getting batted away, Psyduck bounced across the ground a few times, before landing on his feet. What was this human thinking? Inviting The Duck to kick him and then countering when he tried it?! Classic dick move. At least he was an idiot, using steel against a water Pokemon. The hit barely tickled on the flat side. He answered Vio, "Psyduck psyduck, psyduck psyduck psyduck psyduck psyduck psy! Psyduck psyduck psy, duck psyduck psyduck! Psyduck psyduck! Psyduck, psyduck psy. [You idiot, my quarrel with humans is never over! Destroying my home, kidnapping my friends! All of you suck! Also, purple sucks.] (Not that he'd understand any of that.)" Then, he let a Hydro Beam loose at the purple link, the extreme pressure making Psyduck slide backwards a bit.

The stab only nicked the side of the person's face but... underneath the skin was metal? No matter, even if it doesn't bleed, it can still be destroyed, although it may or may not even feel pain. Immediately after his attack, he slid backwards, but the enemy gave chase, and The Knight deflected the outreached hand with the flat side of his sword in an upwards smack. Next, a triangle appeared and instantly fired three streams of electricity, coursing through The Knight. He was able to sidestep out of it, saving himself from most of the attack, but it still did some damage. Jevil did his thing, but he left Copen to his able companion thankfully. To continue the attack, The Knight swept his blade at Green's legs, who just now had joined in, and then with his free hand threw a black whip-like tendril out at Copen's face.

Kilton watched as the group was attacked, not able to do much from up there. Without his knowledge, a storm of white spades appeared above him, shortly after raining down. One popped his balloon, and then stabbed its way right through him. Kilton fell to the ground, unable to scream because of punctured lungs, and then hit the ground hard. Pang! The first death of the battle had been trophied.

"I'm not going to just leave either of you! We stick together!" Tails quickly responded. "Separating would only make us weaker, But charging in without a plan would be even worse!"

The Tornado, while not as fast as sonic in ground, tried to keep pace, jumping up past minor roadblocks to keep up. It was seen in the distance that there was a perimeter well underway...filled with so many Monokuma and makeshift barriers. This wasn't good.

As Tabby rushed towards them, a spray of fire was called forth in their position. Bullets rang all around the tablet, bent on killing them before they could even get close.

Jungle

"...Truly...does anyone else want to help with the rampaging animal attacking?"

Vio shook his head at the absurdity of the situation. Seeing the duck charge I'm an attack, he remembered it from the forest fire. He ducked behind the bark of a tree, the Hydro pump hitting the trunk causing it to rattle, before it snapped right as the attack finished. Wincing as this happened, he swerved out of the way of the falling tree. When it crashed, he combed a small stray hair back into place as he eyed the creature.

Field of Hopes and Dreams

Green, whilst trying hard to evade the spades racing down, was too focused to notice his other adversary, the Knight, sweeping his legs. A bloodied gash fell upon them as he tripped down, to the ground, hissing in pain. Just then, a Bomb came right down toward his position. Gritting his teeth, he barrel rolled over to the side, tugging down on his cap as it exploded. This sent the boy a few feet further, tumbling his ever limper body onwards. He coughed, a stiffness feeling growing on him as his vision appeared to get...yellower?

Sans
As Vio moved his way out of the tree's path, he found he'd darted right beside the skeleton, who had returned as quickly as he'd left, though now he was lying on a reclining lawn chair, one leg crossed over the other as he rested his arms behind his back, a pair of sunglasses sitting on his face, concealing his eyesockets.
"nah, you look like you're handling yourself fine." Sans stated before he casually lifted the sunglasses and winked encouragingly at Psyduck, then leaned back against the chair as he chuckled. "i could just be mistaken, but i got a feeling you're not the most likable person." Sans told Vio. "which is crazy, because you seem extremely likable to me."

Undyne
Nobody else really seemed to care for the ninja guy's plan. While Undyne could see the logic behind it... meh. That wasn't as fun. They had a fairly solid group. As Tabby took off, quickly followed by Sonic, then Tails, Undyne smirked and brushed a clawed hand through her scarlet hair. "I thought it wasn't a bad plan, but action calls." With a cocky grin she flashed at Sub-Zero, she took off after the group. Like before, she couldn't match the speed, so she had to improvise, giving her legs a good work-out as she used platforms to launch and propel her at such speeds and distances that she managed to keep pace without even breaking a sweat.
The ninja didn't follow. He was probably off to continue with his plan alone. Assuming he was stealthy, Undyne figured he could handle himself. Her allies though? They'd definitely need her. She'd taken down a mech by herself, after all. Sonic's aid recognized, though not too attributing. No offense to the blue blur but she'd done all the heavy lifting in that fight. Probably why Kotoko hadn't challenged Undyne directly, since Undyne would have beat that mech down too. Had she been awake for the third, same results. Needless to say, she was eager to catch up on her number of mechs destroyed.

It took no time at all for the group to hit a blockade. Just as Tabby began to be fired upon, Undyne could feel her lips tighten as her grin widened, and she kicked off with a particularly powerful thrust, launching herself meters and meters high into the air, scaling the buildings as her usual spear was summoned in one arm, and with the other, she snapped her fingers.
"THUNDER SPEARS!" Undyne shouted at the top of her voice, which in of itself was a thunder of noise. She'd been considering naming certain attacks in an anime-esque art. This one had just come to her mind, and she was digging it. At the snap of her fingers, the night sky suddenly shone so brightly, one could have mistaken the sun to have returned in the blink of an eye. In reality, Undyne had summoned a monstrous storm of cyan spears. Impossible to count, forming hundreds of rows, walls, and layers. Just as she reached the peak of her ascent, Undyne swiped her spear through the air, and the army of spears began to whiz down, whistling like miniature missiles. Together, they formed a cavalcade of noise rumbling through the air, giving weight to the 'thunder' in her attack.

A tremendous assault that would exhaust her magical energy a bit, but so long as she kept up a show, she could keep these little brats soiling their trousers. The storm came down like the lashing torrent of rain in a terrible thunderstorm. Monokuma were speared through and ripped apart by spear after spear going through them. The purpose for Undyne's bold showing? To keep the group moving. She had no intentions of letting them get pinned down, or at least slown down, by these disposable piles of junk.
They had a prize to reach, and her fury would bring them to it.

Papyrus
Pleasantries appeared to be cast aside, as what came next surprised the skeleton. Not out of fear or agitation of this surprise attack, but instead, his eyes shown (somehow) with glee as he leaped up, shouting in joy. "WOWIE!" His eyesockets were locked on Jevil. It didn't take a genius to recognize Jevil's methods and magic. He was a monster! A confirmed monster! While all the others so far had been questionable on Papyrus' mind, this was all but guaranteed.
Without even losing a step, a long, thin bone appeared in Papyrus' hand like a staff, or a bonely sword, and he proceeded to effortlessly thwack an incoming bomb out of the way, which sailed back in the direction Jevil and Knight had come from before bursting apart in an explosion of hearts, which seemed to amuse the future royal guardsman.

Still with excitement in his eyes and a bounce in his step, Papyrus summoned a series of bones in the path of not just those hearts, but every single projectile incoming he could see. Jevil's attacks were cancelled out by the bones, which were destroyed, but did their job. Grinning brightly, Papyrus jogged his way obliviously toward Jevil and Knight, apparently having not even noticed the Knight's attempt on Copen's life. "EXCUSE ME!" He pointed toward Jevil. "YOU'RE A MONSTER TOO! JUST LIKE ME! WHAT'S YOUR NAME? WHERE DO YOU LIVE? I LIVE IN SNOWDIN TOWN WITH MY BROTHER, SANS. YOU LOOK LIKE A JESTER, HE ACTS LIKE ONE. I'M SURE YOU TWO MIGHT EVEN GET ALONG!"

Master Chief
As Gengar went about to begin making light of their grim situation, Scorpion didn't seem all too amused. "Foolish creature." He growled. "We are trapped eternally here and you're having fun?" John wasn't looking at Gengar nor the ninja, however. His eyes fell on Red, who was watching Gengar with a brightening attitude, a smile even stretching over his face.
Seeing this, Chief turned his gaze toward Scorpion after a glance at Gengar. "Let him be." He asserted. Red seemed like a sensitive soul. Much more innocent than Green had been. Since he'd met this crimson-clad kid, he'd only seen fear and tears in his eyes. That simple, little smile that had lit that kids eyes with some life. Some enjoyment...
Nothing was worth extinguishing that.

Scorpion opened his mouth to retort, but the Spartan asserted his authority once again, shaking his head so slightly, it could have been missed. Towering over the ninja, Scorpion seemed to get the message, turning away to begin quietly inspecting the place they'd arrived in. As dilapidated and deteriorated as this place was, even his mood had been lifted, somewhat. Red's smile had been a little contagious. He felt a little glad he was wearing a helmet.
"Are you smiling?"
Of course, Cortana didn't need to see through a helmet to know what the aging Spartan's face was doing. "No." He replied immediately. "Widen the range of the motion sensor. 150 meters. I need to know if those things are still around."
"Negative. They disappeared when we entered the park. Robotnik's toy already made the assessment accurate. We were herded here like cattle."
Continuing the analogy, what came next was the slaughtering. Not wanting to dampen Red's improving mood, Chief decided not to voice this, instead glancing over toward Geo and Bennett. "This place seems safe. For now." He decided. "We'll stay here for a few hours. Rest. Regain our bearings." Maybe have some fun. Master Chief thought, once more watching as Gengar continued to bounce joyfully around. He knew what being a kid in an impossible situation was like. Been there done that. But he'd be a fool to push these kids. Treat them like soldiers. If there was anything they deserved, from him at least, it was a chance to... just be kids. Even in this strange world they found themselves in.
Maybe they wouldn't even be in this mess if Alessa had been given that chance as well.

The Dragonborn
"We'll drink to our youth, to the days come and gone!"
The haughty voice echoed through the tunnels of alien tech.
"For the Age of Oppression is now nearly done!"
The owner of this voice leaned against the wall of his cell, helmet resting on the ground beside him, full beard and mane of long blonde hair on display, matted from sweat and grime, and lack of washing since he'd gone on that hunt to kill a Wendigo.
"We'll drive out the Empire from this land that we own!"
His voice continued, rising with each verse.
"With our blood and our steel, we will take back our home!"
Pushing himself suddenly from the wall, the Nord beamed brightly in front of him, as though he were staring at someone who wasn't there. He raised an arm into the air, acting as though he were holding something, though once more, nothing was in his hand.

"ALL HAIL TO ULFRIC! YOU ARE THE HIGH KING!"
The Dragonborn bellowed this out, the entire holding block rattling from the thunder of his powerful voice.
"IN YOUR GREAT HONOR WE DRINK AND WE SING!"
He let out a laugh at this, staring at Jenassa as she continued the lyrics with him. Her eyes were bright, and full of mirth. Nothing like when they'd first met all those years ago, when he'd hired her as a mercenary to aid him on his journey up the Greybeards mountain.
"We're the children of Skyrim and we fight all our lives!"
His voice quieting down again, the Dragonborn shared Jenassa's gaze. The way her eyes searched his own. He'd known her for so long. They'd looted many riches in one another's company. His care for her had grown beyond her use in battle. Her love for him had grown beyond the gold he'd pay for her services.
"And when Sovngarde beckons, every one of us dies..."
The mead hall was lit with flickering orange flames, casting a warm glow over everyone and everything. He found himself searching her eyes as well. The longing he saw. The longing he felt. Never once had he given love, lust, or family a second thought. But right here? Right now?
"But this land is ours, and we'll see it wiped clean..."
He found his hand reaching behind the Dark Elf's back, softly yet confidently pulling her toward him, deeper into his comfort.
"Of the scourge that has sullied our hopes and our dreams..."
With the conclusion of the final verse, the Dragonborn leaned forward...

Once, he had felt her surprisingly soft, yet firm lips pressing against his for the first time. Now? He felt only air. Opening his eyes, having closed them for the kiss, the Dragonborn found he was staring at a blank, metal wall. He had relived the memory through. Where he'd been searching for comfort... now he only felt heartache. He could feel his throat tightening, his stomach twisting, his hands shaking...
But he stayed strong. Closing his eyes once more, the Nord let out a disappointed sigh as he leaned back against the wall, his song finished uninterrupted. He refused to look at Slash, feeling somewhat embarrassed at his strange acting. He didn't think the blade could understand. Perhaps it could, but it wouldn't.
However, the silence following the bard's tune was interrupted as the soft hum of the alien doors sliding open sounded, followed by the thunderous steps of the massive Brute who'd brought them here. "It is time." He chuckled throatily. "Your next match is now."

The human hid behind a tree, how typical. Humans were always hiding behind other things and creatures. Well, The Duck wouldn't have it. His bill glowed purple, until he released a Confuse Ray. Tabby

The tablet screen showed a smile as his comrades joined him..., all except his pal Sub-Zero. Shame, but if it was too scary for him, that was okay. As the Monokumas fired on him, Tabby easily deflected the bullets, flashes of red energy and yellow sparks indicating just that. Undyne helped out by shredding the enemies, helping take the heat off the little robot. He wasn't going to let this go to waste; he leapt into the air and started spidermanning his way down the street high above any obstructions. That was his way of picking up the pace before more Monokuma could fill the places of the fallen ones, and he knew he had friends that would go with him into the inevitable battle.

Amaterasu made a beeline towards the GateKeepers, sidestepping between explosions the best she could. The sheer number of them meant a few scorched her body and knocked her away, but she managed to near the floating eyes in relatively good condition.

Kirby poyo'd happily as all his friends began to interact. What a big group of people! They were sure to beat any...thing in their way?
Kirby paused, befuddled. Why were there so many people here? And where was here? The closest thing to this event was the last tournament he was taken to, but there wasn't any homicidal hands telling them to fight.
Hmm.....oh!
Turns out no everyone was getting along, Psyduck and Vio began a scuffle. His previous musing forgotten, Kirby ran towards the fallen Psyduck, poyoing worriedly, before Psyduck got up a shot an attack at Vio.

Neo Metal Sonic
The metallic being cocked his head to the side as Shadow Link responded. Since when did he say the gremlin was his master? Was that how this worked in his world? Asking a question was announcing your enslavement? Strange. Metal, still surrounded by an orange glow, redirected his attention to the direction Dark Matter went. He paused for a moment before several razor-sharp spikes emerged out of the ground at the exact spot Dark Matter was, hoping to kill him.

After this attack, Metal turned his head towards the direction the group from earlier. They were heading towards....at least what used to be a city. Now it was more like something out of one of those idiotic science fiction movies Robotnik was always watching. It was in total anarchy, and he had a guess as to why. There was a massive Eggman Empire signature in that area, along with a key signature.

However, there was another key signature in an area not too much further. A jungle-looking area. There weren't nearly as many Eggman Empire signatures in that area, barely any at all. That was when he received a message from the Egg Carrier, telling him that they had a new ally and that they would be deployed in the Urban District. Well, perfect. That left the jungle to him. He activated his thruster, leaving a shockwave in his wave, nearly uprooting the trees around him. He left a blazing orange trail as he went, along with a trail of smoke that came afterward.

Jevil
The scythe successfully cut through its target...or so Jevil thought. It turned out that it hadn't, cutting straight through a shield instead. The darkner's head turned towards the direction the shield had come from, grin wide as ever. The jester was met with a short, elf-like boy in green clothing. Jevil's head cocked to the side before he vanished, reappearing in a different spot. Suddenly, the darkner was met with a skeleton-like being who appeared to be a lightner, as they didn't follow the typical 'card deck' theme.
The rather enthusiastic skeleton spoke, clearly excited to see Jevil merely because he was a monster. Weird, monsters weren't uncommon for lightners, so he had heard anyway. Jevil simply grinned in response to Papyrus, taking a little bow. "The name's Jevil!" He said, before sticking his hand out to the side and bringing it up a bit, causing a torrent of spades to emerge from under the currently wounded elf boy in green. "Pleased to meet ya!" As he said this, a familiar red echidna jumped towards him in an attempt to attack-only to be swatted away by several diamonds, being sent soaring into the trees. "Say, how would you like to join my friend and me? We're going around playing games, I think you'd have a ball." Jevil spoke with a grin.

Sonic the Hedgehog
"Fine by me!" The hedgehog said casually, before using boost, leaving the mech, along with everyone else, in the dust hilariously fast. The blue blur performed several evasive maneuvers as he dashed forward, moving from side to side, ducking and running along walls, etcetera. He slid under a sudden flame from a nearby monokuma, before leaping above a nearby blockade of them, spinning around in a ball. As he was fired upon, he used boost in midair, causing a shockwave that broke nearby windows and stunned nearby airborne monokuma, along with disrupting any flame/bullet's path, causing them to go flying in different directions, sometimes back at the monokuma. He landed in a roll and used his momentum to make a makeshift spindash, going right through any unfortunate monokuma in his way, before leaping out of the roll and running along a wall. As flames erupted from the windows, the blue hedgehog quickstepped to the side to avoid them, before leaping off as a red hue began to envelop the area, several monokuma emerging from the building, including a rather ball-shaped one who was screaming rather obnoxiously. Getting an idea, the hedgehog spun around in the air before kicking the ball-shaped unit like a soccer ball, causing it to go flying in the other direction, knocking down the other monokuma like bowling pins. Sonic grinned and pumped his fist, before redirecting his attention to the blockade in front of him. He boosted once again, causing several monokuma who were closing in from behind to go flying, before sliding under a large section of the monokuma blockade, the blue blur's grin not fading throughout. However, he could not fully slide past the monokuma and leaped up in the air as he lost sliding momentum, narrowly avoiding the razor-sharp claws of the monokuma. As he was nearing the finish of the blockade, he looked back at his allies. Well, actually their general direction, as he had gone much too far to actually see them now. Darn. Was all the hedgehog could think before continuing to boost through the blockade, nearing the docked ship.

Aegislash
The Royal Sword pokemon gazed upon the confinement of his cell rather dryly, not seeming concerned very much. Truth be told, Aegislash could just go through the cell if he so chose to, although that clearly wasn't the smartest choice here. They were greatly outnumbered and didn't have a plan, so the sword decided to play along for now. Soon, Aegislash heard a voice from the cell close to him. It was none other than Dragonborn, who was seemingly talking to nobody. They had only been here for a few minutes, had the man in armor already gone insane? However, he soon regained his composure and avoided eye contact with the rather amused pokemon. Suddenly, the doors to the room the cells were in opened with a quiet hum, followed by the not-so-quiet steps of the beast who brought them here. They informed Aegislash and his ally that their next match was at hand. The pokemon looked at the Dragonborn for confirmation that he was ready, although Aegislash wasn't really sure they would be given the time to prepare if they weren't.

As the battle raged on Undying impairing a surprising amount of Monokuma in just one sitting. The adults that had hidden away in buildings or underneath debris and rubble watched on, a glimmer of hope bubbling forth beneath them. They were...fighting back? No signs of hostility like the Eggman empire either?

Sonic blasted a hole through their defenses, sprinting through the gap. Tails attempted to keep pace, a gun at the front of his mech locking in to stragglers in the wake and blasting them into smithereens. It appeared Sonic left several previously hidden Monokuma in windows alive, as they aimed down, shooting bullets to the left and right of the gang. The Tornado's top gun however locked in to as many of these as it could, before firing missiles in all directions, landing and exploding on each and every one of these windows, violently taking them out.

As the main building came closer into sight for the crew, a glint of light was briefly seen inside, before a powerful sniper blast was shot out toward Tabby, bent on destroying them before they could get close. Not only that, but some eight foot tall, four legged Monokuma growled as they were out front-- Beast Monokuma. The rather feral looking machines sprinted forth, more durability than their counter parts. They would aim to bite into Undyne's arm and crocodile roll her onto the ground whilst three others attempted to slash at the blue blur

Red, Bennett, E-102 Gamma
Lich Yard

Red had to admit. As disturbing as this place, silent hill was, this particular area wasn't too bad. Cautiously optimistic, the boy looked around. Gengar, Bennett, and even Chief seemed into the idea of having some fun. After this affirmation, Red took one shaky step, and then several more as he went up to Gengar, a hesitant smile on his face.

"W-Well...what should we do??" He asked Gengar hopefully.

Meanwhile Bennett jumped at the chance, quickly rushing in to the park......or he would have if he didn't trip on his face on the first step. After plowing into the ground and getting a few scratches and bruises, the groggy Bennett got up and wearily continued with the same enthusiasm.

"Confusion. Why put effort into an activity that brings no advantage or gain?"

E-102 Gamma stared directly at Chief, who had allowed this to happen as a team leader of sorts. They were supposed to be a high valued enemy target that even breached the Egg Carrier, so why would such an objective driven character allow such things?

Gunvolt - Jungle

"That's enough."

An electric orb was summoned in the Confuse Ray's path, cancelling out Psyduck's attack. "Now's not the time to fight. There's more important things we need to deal with right now." Gunvolt said, walking over to Kirby and Psyduck before grabbing the rock from the latter and chucking it elsewhere.

"GV," the Adept's companion spoke. "The energy I'm sensing got a bit stronger just now. Call me crazy, but... I think it's coming from Psyduck."

"Huh?" Gunvolt gave the duck a puzzled look, crouching down to meet him at eye level. "You sure?" He asked, to which she nodded. Why could that be? Does this guy actually have the key?

Copen - Field of Hopes and Dreams

The teen's tagging attempt was deflected by the Knight, causing him to bounce upwards as the sword was pushed against his gun. Now up in the air and in a hover, a black tendril shot out at him. Lola processed the incoming attack in a split second, the P-Bits becoming cyan before unleashing Rising Cyclone around her creator and his opponent, a tornado of spiral energy enveloping the area. This would move Copen higher into the air to a safer spot, while dealing slight damage to the Knight and possibly force him upwards momentarily, hopefully enough for an ally to take advantage.

Deciding to use this momentary safety to analyze his opponent's capabilities, Copen looked around the area. The one in armor that was first to attack seemed to be human, using a sword as his main weapon. The black tendrils he also used could logically be countered with light-based attacks, much like Shadow Link.

That jester that nearly sliced his legs off... he displayed incredible speed, coupled with area-covering projectiles and even duplicates. Undoubtedly the strongest enemy on the field. With frequent attacks generally came low damage though, and he could already think of a couple ways to hinder or negate his speed advantage.

Green and Knuckles had both been wounded, though it was unlikely he could aid them considering the jester's speed and ranged attacks. Papyrus seemed to be... chatting with the enemy? Perhaps he didn't understand the gravity of the situation. Hunter had yet to attack, and Slowking hadn't done much besides avoiding a few attacks.

Coming up with a course of action, Lola fired Photon Detonator in the Knight's direction, a single ball of light heading for the area in front of the enemy. It would result in a large explosion upon impact, though it had been aimed as to not accidentally harm any allies in the process. While this happened, Copen would fire a laser barrage at Jevil in hopes of racking up some damage.

Jungle

Thankful for the assist by one of the few humans here, Vio took a breath of relief, sheathing his sword. Rising back up to attention, he took to and fro from his allies. Gunvolt did bring up a valid point about the plaguing effect of the creature. Due to him being far from the epicenter, if he caught it as well, he'd be one of the last to feel it's effects.

"Okay. So if this truly is some type of illness, it won't be very pleasant." He spoke, taking a book out from his belt.

Flipping through the pages, Hyrule texts explained in great detail many - sicknesses that troubled the common folk in ancient times as well as recent. Nearly every one called for a specimen from the particular venomous or plague bearing creature that inflicted it. Reading this carefully, he touched one of the underlined segments.

"There. Audrey, if you would be so kind as to pry off one of the scales of the creature, that as well as a small sample of it's bile."

"..." Audrey felt her train of thought being stopped at that request. Orders? She hated those, and it felt like one...but it sounded like a request.
"Right, fine. W-wait, it's bile?? That's disgusting!" She growled, her hand on her hip in annoyance.
"Burgh, well, as long as it doesn't make you guys feel worse, fine I guess. But when I turn around to get it, you lot better not be fighting again, or else." She took her sword off of her shoulder, turning around to face the dragon again, and moved to pry a scale off, struggling to slip the large blade between the scales. This was a delicate task, and not one she was used to.

However, she eventually managed to force a scale off with a grunt of effort, the scale landing not too far behind her after it went into the air (along with small chunks of other scales). Without a moment of hesitation, she closed her eyes and made a hopeful guess as to where the bile was in this thing. Should she have stabbed true, there would be some bile now directly on her blade, much to her clear disgust. If not, try again after getting the blood off the blade.

Tabby

As Tabby swung down the street, he swatted away stray bullets with his blade and made sure to give his friends a little bit of cover with a spurt of SMG fire every few seconds. Then, he spotted a glint coming from their destination. Immediately following it was a blast of energy, traveling at impressive speeds, coming straight for Tabby! Quickly, the small robot drew his katana, and with both hands he slashed upwards. This sent the blast at an upwards angle behind Tabby, and the tablet downwards. He landed on the roof of a car, a Monokuma breaking his fall. He quickly decapitated the teddy bear he stood atop, and then found himself surrounded by a group of surviving 'Kumas. Tabby picked up the pistol that the robot he just killed had been wielding, and then quickly fired off a shot into a few of their faces. When the gun ran out, Tabby was quick to slingshot himself into the 4th story window of a nearby building, taking cover from any future railgun shots.

Field of Hopes and Dreams

It could fly, great. Then this one would be better handled by his ally, so The Knight could take care of the landbound ones. The tornado of energy barely did anything, the armor being to strong and heavy for him to be harmed or lifted by such an attack. He was just about to turn his attention elsewhere as some small ball fired an orb of energy at him. The Knight quickly fired a harpoon into a nearby tree, the mechanism on his arm quickly reeling in until he smacked into the tree he was reeling into. In this particular patch of trees, The Knight was hunting the red haired creature with spikes on its knuckles.

All these hits connected, and finished by Kragg, who after armoring through multiple explosions in a curled-up ball form, fired himself into the air once again, and with stone fusing bis fists together, slamming it down on the left eye.

Undyne
Minibosses? That was what she assumed these Asgore-sized Monokuma were. No biggy. They were trying to get her when she landed, clearly expecting her to have no chance of defense upon doing so. Fat chance. "HAH!" Undyne laughed as she summoned a platform to prepell herself from before she even reached their clawing paws. Thrusting down a few simple spears at high velocity to try and impale them through the tops of their skulls, Undyne used the platforms to propel herself to the side of a skyscraper, where she lodged her primary spear and hung from for a moment to survey their situation.

Sonic was barreling his way through enemies at blistering speeds. He wasn't one to worry about much. Tails in his mech cleaned up in Sonic's wake, the blue hedgehog not seeming to notice a few Monokuma as he sped about. Tabby barely dodged a railgun blast, something Undyne knew the source of. "Got you." She grinned, eyeing where the blast had come from. However, she didn't have HannibalX in her sights. It seemed the mech had some kind of cloaking technology or something.
Tabby took cover in a building to avoid more attacks from HannibalX- the same building Undyne clung to. Quickly, she swung herself up, dislodging her spear and following Tabby inside.

Coming to a stop, she looked back to glance outside. "Nagisa has the area locked down." She informed Tabby. "Until we take him out, we're not getting to that airship. With that blue ninja guy looking for more people," She assumed, at least. He didn't seem the type to just bail to spare himself. Or maybe she expected too much from him. Wasn't he a human? Shaking her head, Undyne cleared the negative thoughts for the moment. "we're gonna need to try our best here. Someone needs to distract HannibalX while the rest of us lay waste to the army. You're good at taking out Monokumas, so you're on Monokuma detail." Undyne nodded to Tabby. "I'll get Tails to help you. Sonic and I will do what we can against Nagisa. Got it?"

Donkey Kong
The ape stared at Buzzwole for a moment, who was redoubling his flexing efforts. Making a hoot as he jutted out his lips, the Kong did so as well, flexing his muscles tightly, noticing the patterns Buzzwole was making, and creating some of his own, unintentionally saying 'Good Hi Howdy Banana' in the process, before grinning expectantly at Buzzwole, waiting for the bug's next moves, clearly interpreting this as a flex-off, something the Kong didn't get to do too often, considering he mostly hung out with Diddy, who was as lanky as they came. Maybe aside from Lanky Kong. He and Buzzwole both failed to notice anything going on around them, solely fixated on their flexing match.

Sans, meanwhile, had somehow appeared beside Audrey, stepping up to be in line with her. His presence exerted a strange since of foreboding, but his grin seemed to be as lazy as ever. The white lights of his eyes looked at her blade, before he winked at her with his right eye. "not bad kiddo, but that bile's no good." He nodded at the blood-mingled substance. "it'd be a lot more work segregating out the blood's components. fortunately, i packed a spare." With that, he stuck one of his arms out of his pockets, a small bottle containing the frothing green mucus-like liquid in his hand. Calmly, he handed it toward her. "try not to spill any of it. that's the pure stuff. super acidic."
How it wasn't eating through the glass tube was anyone's guess, or perhaps Sans was lying about the acidic properties. Either way, he was providing Audrey with a prime sample of untainted bile, back to Vio so the boy wouldn't see. The intentions behind this were just as mysterious as almost everything else about the things Sans did. He also seemed to be ignoring Psyduck's outbursts. When he wasn't, he was clearly making no effort in hiding his encouragement of Psyduck's actions.

Papyrus
Engrossed in his conversation with Jevil, Papyrus failed to notice the jester's continued attacks on his newfound allies, instead placing his hands heroically on his hips, puffing out his chest. "I DON'T HAVE A BALL, UNFORTUNATELY. BUT! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WOULD BE HONORED TO PLAY GAMES WITH YOU, FRIEND! I MYSELF AM A VERY COMPETITIVE SKELETON, BUT I MUST WARN YOU! I HARDLY EVER LOSE AT GAMES! JUST ASK SANS! BUT UH... DON'T ASK UNDYNE. BETWEEN YOU AND I, SHE'S SCARY COMPETITIVE." For that last bit, Papyrus put a hand to the side of his face in a conspiratorial manner, then glanced about at the absolute chaos around them in time to notice, out of all things, Copen's attack on Jevil.

"WAIT!" The skeleton shouted, swiping his hand quickly through the air, a wall of blue bones erupting from the ground, Copen's attack gleaming harmlessly against them. It was here that Papyrus finally took in everything happening, and addressed the Knight's brutality. "EVERYBODY STOP! WE CAN BE FRIENDS, WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING?"

Master Chief
As the group began to thin, Chief could feel himself growing weary. He didn't like the idea of anybody going about alone here. There was still the obvious threat the town could throw at them. "Keep a status on everyone." He advised Cortana, who agreed. He got the feeling she didn't fully agree with his allowing of this resting period, but she held her tongue for now.
Robotnik's robot didn't seem to understand why Chief had allowed this, to which Cortana replied privately to the Spartan; "Don't indulge it. It's not an AI."
No, it probably wasn't, but John had noticed something that Cortana, in her vast intellect, hadn't. The way the robot had emphasized 'confusion'. It wasn't just a program, it had thoughts. It tried to make sense of scenarios. It wanted to understand why Chief had done what he'd done. That was a sign of intelligence. Sentient intelligence.

"Levity." John answered the automaton. "They need to recharge. They're people, not robots. They need a break as much they need rest, or food. It keeps them spry. Active. Functioning." Considering an analogy for a moment, John took a step toward Gamma, towering over even the robot, just like most things the Spartan met these days where massive aliens didn't seem as prevalent. "Consider it like your body. If you get damaged, or aren't taken care of, you begin to fall into disrepair. The human body is much the same, they just need more care more frequently."
It didn't escape John that he'd referred to humans as 'they' and 'them', not including himself in it. He didn't feel like dwelling on his humanity.

The Dragonborn
Sliding his helmet back over his grizzled face, the Nord let out a huff as the energy barriers holding himself and Slash within their cells dispersed. Dragonborn said nothing as he and his ally were led down the steel halls before finally returning to the arena, where both were shoved out by the hulking Brute, the doors closing behind them as the crowd of aliens roared their approval.
"I have an idea." Dragonborn told Slash, and he stuck his hand into his satchel, tugging out a vial of red liquid after a moment. As inconspicuously as he could, the Nord down half of it in a moment, and immediately, a physical effect could be seen. The cuts and bruises along his body faded, replaced with healthy skin. The only things that failed to disappear were the numerous scars lining his body. Again, trying to be inconspicuous, the Dragonborn then splashed the rest of the vial on Slash, considering he didn't see a mouth.

The effects were the same, but slower. Slash could feel his power returning in full, health regaining, focus sharpening like his blade. As they made their way back to the center of the arena, it was clear the arena was looking worse for wear. Dents and blackened smudges from explosions lined its surface. The smell of blood, gunpowder, and rage hung in the air.
The Warden's voice came back, the squeaky Grunt announcer.

"WE'S HERE AGAIN CUZ WE GOTS BIG BAD DUO BACK! FLOATY SWORD GUY AND GUY WITH HORNS ON HEAD!"

Electing to give a show, while also feeling much more invigorated, the Dragonborn raised his arms into the air, letting out a bellowing war cry that dwarfed even the thousands of spectators, who seemed to love this as their shouts increased, though none could match the Dragonborn's vocal power.

Lowering his arms, he turned to Slash. "We beat these next two, go back to our cells, and knock out our guard. Simple. I just needed to heal you with a potion to ensure this would work." With that, the Warden continued.

"ON OTHER SIDE OF PLACE, WE GOTS FRESH COMPETITION! REGULAR GUY AND MOUSE GUY!"

'Regular Guy' seemed... regular. He sported wavy brown hair with piercing periwinkle eyes wearing some kind of brown vest over a white shirt, and grey pants with stylized boots, a strange-looking crossbow in one hand, staring impudently at Dragonborn and Slash. It was the strangest looking crossbow the Nord had ever seen. No better name suited him than 'Regular Guy', he supposed. 'Mouse Guy' was... a mouse. Wearing crimson clothing. Much larger than a regular mouse, of course. He had sly features about him.
"No holding back, we need to deal with them as quickly as possible." The Nord urged his ally.

"NOW HOLD ON!"

The Warden continued.

"WE NOTS DONE YET! THIS TIME WE GOT SURPRISE!"

As he spoke, the ground hissed beneath them, and began to open up in places, quickly transforming the arena into a different type of battlefield. While some platforms remained, where the floor had shifted away revealed hot magma bubbling away. How these aliens had managed this, the Dragonborn wasn't certain, but this absolutely changed things.

"NOW FIIIIIIIGHT!"

"Alright, Fuzzy Lip. Getting sassy, aren't we?" Prometheus chuckled before he looked at the powers of his targets. They were no slouches, so this could be fun. That mech especially would be a huge target to take down. "Am I ready? Dear doc, let me tell you my motto. Who needs sanity, when you have anarchy? Drop me down and I will make the biggest mess that I can make. That's the benefit of not being a mass-produced machine, you get that extra bit of attention that makes your attacks just pop. Picking up what I'm throwing down, big man? Give me the coordinates and I'll get down myself to cause carnage in your name." The Grim Reaper Reploid laughed maniacally, throwing his head back and bending his back backwards to truly commit to the laugh. It was quite an unnerving sound to hear when being hunted, but now it just sounded dumb.

Hunter groaned as the group got attacked by arguably the weirdest creatures he'd seen, they could not use this right now. As multiple attacks cut the skin of the sauropod, Brachio swung her giant tail at Jevil whilst positioning herself as a meatshield for the smaller group members. She'd seen Hunter suffer too much already and she took it upon herself to eradicate any and all potential threats to the lives of her small herd members. Hunter meanwhile was desperately trying to hang on as the giant dinosaur moved rather violently, the constant attacks also did not do anything to ease the situation. Still, a good whack from Brachio might just be what they needed to get out of this place. The skeleton tried to solve things the peaceful way, but Brachio could not be reasoned with anymore. Besides, that Jester did not seem like the type to actually listen to reason.

Geo shuddered at the sight of the amusement park, this was so out of place for this creepy place and overhearing that they were herded here like cattle also did not help his nerves. Bennett however did not care about that and was on his merry way, possibly to get killed. The boy was conflicted. On one hand, he'd love to stay by the safe side of Chief, whilst on the other hand he had to make sure that Bennett didn't die. Looking at Chief, the boy had an idea. "Umm, Sir? This might sound like a weird request, but does your A.I. system have an entry way? I'd like to make sure that Bennett stays safe even though I think it is much safer next to you, and this way you can contact me if something shows up. The darkner's grin didn't falter as chaos continued to ensue, Papyrus blocking an attack that came towards them, attempting to resolve things peacefully. Nobody liked that idea. A dinosaur, who looked like someone he knew, attempted to attack him with its tail. "Excuse me for a moment, pal!" He told Papyrus before morphing into the Devilsknife, hovering midair. The knife then dashed forward at high speeds, accompanied by three others that suddenly appeared. They all went for different sections of the tail, and Brachio couldn't do anything to avoid it as she was already in the motion. All 4 Devilsknives hit, going straight through the tail and turning it into a nice serving of purple sliders. The scythes went soaring for a moment, before circling back around to the dinosaur and Hunter. 3 went for Brachio's neck, hoping to do to it what they did to the tail. Meanwhile, the 4th one went for Hunter, hoping to cut him clean in half.

Meanwhile, Knuckles was still recovering from the blow Jevil dealt to him, kneeling on the ground behind the trees. He growled and punched the ground. How strong was this guy? However, he didn't have time to dwell on it as the other enemy showed themselves, attempting to finish what their partner started. Knuckles attempted to stand up, but faltered, as he was still weakened. This allowed the Knight to use a devastating attack on the echidna, stabbing him directly through the chest rather brutally, causing a brilliant flash of golden light to envelop Knuckles.

Aegislash
The Royal Sword pokemon simply floated along as they were led to the arena once more, not showing any emotion. As Dragonborn splashed a potion on him, Aegislash's body absorbed it and the pokemon felt his strength fully return. He nodded at his ally before continuing onwards, observing the crowd. Dragonborn was quickly proving a fan favorite as he elected to put on a show.mAegislash, however, did not, merely sizing his enemies up, before jumping up and spinning around abandoning the shield and leaving it to float in place, before floating back to ground level quickly and grabbing the shield with his hand, switching to sword form. He made a little 'bring it on' motion with his hand, causing fans of his own to roar a little louder. Sports fans were weird, you could do the slightest thing and they'd eat it up. Aegislash floated a bit higher as a majority of the floor disappeared, being replaced with molten lava. Well, that was a bit unnecessary, but not too much of a problem for Aegislash.
"NOW FIIIIGHT!"
The announcer yelled, and fight they did. Aegislash and Daroach made the first moves, the former charging towards the latter, while the latter charged up an attack with his wand. As Aegislash got close, Daroach let loose the attack, using a large beam of ice in an attempt to freeze Aegislash solid. The pokemon countered this with Flash Cannon, and the beams collided, pushing against each other for a moment before resulting in a brilliant blue explosion. Taking advantage of the mist, Aegislash disappeared briefly, appearing behind Daroach and hitting him on the head with the hilt of...himself, causing the rat to go stumbling forwards, close to the magma. The mouse panicked, swinging his arms in a cartoonish fashion, but ended up regaining his composure. The rat swung a cane of sorts, three stars emerging from it Aegislash ducked to avoid these, but they ricocheted off a wall and hit him in the back, causing him to go soaring forwards, spinning rapidly. Daroach took advantage of this and threw a bomb, hitting Aegislash directly in the back, causing him to go flying even further, leaving a trail of smoke. When the smoke cleared, Aegislash floated there, surprisingly undamaged. It turned out that he had switched into shield form mid-air and took heavily reduced damage from the bomb. Aegislash charged forward surprisingly fast, but Daroach teleported upwards once he got close, and attempted to slash at the pokemon with his claws, but Aegislash was faster, using King's Shield to block and counter, causing Daroach to go soaring higher into the air from the damage and knockback. Aegislash then flew to level height with him, surrounded by darkness and glowing from the power boost King's Shield had given him. Aegislash then slashed the mouse brutally, leaving an orange trail behind the blade. Then he slashed again. And again. And again, and again, and again. It was brutal, the afterimages emphasizing just how many times Aegislash had attacked the poor rat. Finally, Aegislash slashed upwards, causing the rat to go flying into the energy barrier from before, getting electrocuted, before falling back down, lethally wounded. Midair, Aegislash floated right above Daroach and slammed down, the sword hitting him directly in the back. They fell to the ground quickly, a surge of purple electricity surrounding the two when they landed and causing the sturdy alien metal platform to crack around the area of impact. A golden flash of light enveloped the area. It was over, Daroach was defeated. Aegislash returned to shield form and turned to his ally, seeing how he was handling himself. (Sorry that Daroach was killed so fast, but I hope I made it a decent fight. And Dragonborn said not to hold back, so he didn't.)

Mass-produced...now there was an idea. The doctor didn't think he could pull off an exact model of the reploid, there was something about it that was irreplaceable. However, he could make similar models as an elite force of some sort. Eggman nodded. "Very well then, sending you the coordinates now." The doctor pressed a few buttons on one of the many keyboards in front of him, causing Prometheus to receive the coordinates. Suddenly, a capsule closed around the reploid. "This will keep you safe in mid-air. DIsengage when you feel you can get down the rest of the way on your own." It took one, two, three, four, five hits before it began to crumble, the steel flaying off it as it took a plate of the Tornado's armor with it. Without Sonic in sight, Tails ducked the Mech behind a building, hoping to ward away some eyes.

Tabby believed they were safe within the building, but this proved to be false, as another Railgun shot would fire at the building, easily enough to punch right though it and out the other side, all while Tabby had it's back turned to the building itself talking to Undyne and Sonic This would prove to be a tactical error. Gamma processed what that slightly shorter man had suggested. Leisure was to ensure future production? Recharging? Leisure = recharging? Efficiency up? Gamma had then come to the conclusion.

"Acceptable." It spoke sparingly. "Then why do you not recharge?"

Meanwhile, Red elected not to say anything from Gengar's rather...flashy prize game regarding his shadow balls. Instead, he looked to the roller coaster Gengar had gesture towards.

"Star...Travel?" Red cocked a brow. "What's that?"

In Hyrule, amusement parks didn't exist. At least not to this scale. Roller coasters hadn't been invented yet. So he had no idea what to expect from this.

"Uh...thanks, I guess." Audrey snatched the vial, before pausing. "Sorry, grabby hands." She tried to claim. "Being my world's Hero I'm used to yoinking stuff from temples, ya know." She added to tell Sans, a clear lie.

"Got the stuff, purp!" She turned and picked up the scale, handing both the vial and the scale over to Vio, or more accurately, shoved them violently in front of him. "Alright, hurry up...f-for gunvolt or whoever's sake, not mine. I'm sure it's getting worse..." She said, trying to not sound like she wanted this selfishly.

"Wait a second...!" She turned her head to see Psyduck going to attack Gunvolt again. "Oh, I've had enough of you!" She growled, and, in a fit of range, grabbed her blade and pointed it at the sky, grabbing 4 levels of lightning charged and firing them directly at Psyduck, seemingly not even caring for the possibly collateral of Gunvolt nor keyed in to what was said between him and Joule.

Her processing algorithms were working overtime just to comprehend and theorize about what could come next. Most Smart AI usually had a core room to aid in their processing power. It would distribute coolant or anti-freeze depending on the thought processes of the Smart AI. Of course, all Smart AI weren't the same. The Dumb AI ran menial tasks, while the Smart were, well, smart. Some were designed for agricultural purposes, others of archaeological studies, and the more advanced to run starships. Cortana, however, was one of a kind. A hyper-advanced model based on the carbon copy of one of the most intellectual human being ever conceived in her universe- and Cortana was even smarter than her. Dr. Katherine Halsey. In a sense, she was Cortana's mother just as much as John's, but while Halsey raised and bred John and his other Spartans for the wars they would wage on the Insurrection, and later the Covenant, Cortana was based on the ONI Operative. Her likeness, her appearance, even her mannerisms were built on the foundation of Halsey.

But that was only half the story. Cortana had been conceived through irregular measures. Illegal, even. Dr. Halsey was no stranger to operating like this. Her abduction of the Spartans as children, and her treatment of them, their augmentations, were a crime against life itself- and Halsey would be incarcerated for it. Cortana was also much the same. Halsey had combined Forerunner knowledge and technology with that of humanity, forging multiple different variations of the AI before its final incarnation. Cortana herself. She was stored in a small, menial data chip inserted into the back of John's skull, built into his very brain. She couldn't afford to need anti-freeze or coolant to keep herself in check, and she couldn't afford to overheat or overfreeze, else it might harm her Spartan. So her design had been built with all of that in mind. The greatest processing power ever belonged to her, and she had no limits to how much she could think.
Yet even with her vast intellect and knowledge, Cortana longed for something greater. To feel. Even now, years after it had been said, she still thought about what John had said to her before he'd gone into cryo sleep.

"Wake me. When you need me."

'When you need me', Cortana had thought about that line for a very long time. Mulling it over in her artificial mind, discerning the meaning. The Spartan was typically a very stoic, focused individual. Combat was always on the forefront of his mind, but that single line, no- that single word... 'need'. Cortana had to stutter some of her processing algorithms, as they had washed over her with a wave of longing, and of infatuation. There was no questioning that she harbored feelings for the Spartan. Her Spartan. Never before had a case of an AI and a human being engaged in a romantic partnership been recorded, but the truth was, both she and John were illegal secrets. Weapons of mass destruction. It gave her a sense of giddiness.
Where was she?
Oh right. Silent Hill. While she had managed to secure a loophole in the town's rules, it seemed to grow weary of this. As though the fog itself were sentient and reactive. It had closed off her means of collecting information. Once again, she was blind, even as she sped up her processing power in an attempt to locate something, anything. Nothing.

It was here that Geo Stelar began to ask questions, before he started slinking away in embarrassment. John reacted to this in a comforting, almost fatherly manner. Cortana could only observe her compatriot in his actions. This was a side of him she had never before witnessed. The way his voice went soft, and gentle. He didn't speak down to the boy. In fact, the Spartan dropped to a knee to be more eye-level with him, speaking directly to him. A sign of respect and care. It had never once crossed her mind that John could be like this. That he had a vulnerability for children. Was it perhaps he could remember his own past, and envied the chance for an alternate outcome from what he got? Surely not. He was the most skilled of his kind. With the highest body count ever recorded, and so much black ink on his record, even the greatest Admirals of the UNSC rarely had access to half of the files John was under. Hundreds of missions where he had obliterated Covenant armies, sometimes even single-handedly- and that was just the public records. For lack of better terms, the Master Chief had committed genocide against the Covenant, and he was getting close to succeeding where all others would fail. But the war was over, wasn't it? The last Covenant Hierarch had been destroyed at the hands of who was once a faithful disciple. The new Halo, and presumably the Ark, High Charity along with it, obliterated in the explosion that had left her and John stranded in the depths of unknown space.
Elites allied with humanity. The Covenant was destroyed. There was no other result. The war was over. John served no purpose to her world any longer, even if he was found. She'd have been long gone by that time, naturally. As brilliant and powerful as she was, Cortana had one key weakness. Lifespan. Smart AI could learn infinitely, but at their seventh year of life, they would be decommissioned. Their wealth of knowledge would corrupt them, and all Smart AI would succumb to Rampancy, a fate Cortana had no desire to explore.

Some AI could avoid Rampancy/ Going dormant for years at a time, an AI might be capable of recuperating themselves, as was the case with Loki, a shipboard AI who had branched a fragment of himself, naming him 'Mack'. As Loki went dormant for the colonization of the planet Harvest to revive himself, Mack took over with agricultural duties. When Mack would near the end of his lifespan, Loki would take over, and the process would continue until both were destroyed during the Human-Covenant war. It was simple, really. If need be, Cortana could attempt this as well. Create a fragment of herself so that she could lie dormant, regain herself, and return before her fragment turned Rampant.
It took her a moment to realize John had spoken to her.
"Can you establish a link with Geo?"
It had only been a tenth of a second since he'd asked, but that might as well have been ten years to a Smart AI such as herself. She'd been distracted in her own thoughts. "Link established." She replied simply, directing her words toward Geo at this next point, through their communication link rather than through the speakers of her Spartan's helmet. "Don't get nervous about asking us anything. Chief and I are here to help you."

The radar wasn't picking up anything, still. Their herding here had been accomplished, but what came next was anyone's guess. This place was so unpredictable, she wasn't sure what to expect next, even as she gathered a file on everything she'd learned about the town so far. Things were still... complicated. Reality didn't seem to fully apply here. It was bugging her.

------

It was a little awkward, but the Chief gave a reassuring pat to Geo's shoulder before he returned to his full height, Gamma processing what the Spartan had said, labeling it as 'acceptable'. Then it asked something else that made the Spartan think.
"Then why do you not recharge?"
Truthfully? He wasn't accustomed to it. When he wasn't fighting, he was training. When he wasn't training, he was in cryo sleep waiting to be awoken for the next fight. He'd had no life outside of war, which is exactly what he'd been trained for almost his entire life. Not only that, but he needed to recharge mentally and physically less than most anybody else. Spartans could go for days without sleep, without sustenance, and not suffer and drop in performance. They were killing machines, designed to obliterate their targets, something the UNSC's Spartan-III's tried to replicate, but ultimately failed at. Nothing could match a Spartan-II in regards to what humanity had. Not truly. At least not in his world. While Spartans were a myth to most of humanity, those who knew they existed thought they were machines, or cyborgs. Unfeeling robots designed to kill. In a sense, it was true, but outside of the AI chip in the back of his skull, John didn't have any cybernetic enhancements. He had his body, his augmentations, and his suit. It was mostly the suit that led to the belief that Spartans were machines. And the way they acted? It wasn't far off.

"I don't need to." John answered Gamma after a moment of silence, before he folded his arms across his chest and gazed about, mind returning to the need of figuring out why the town had driven them here. What was the significance? Surely it had nothing to do with Alessa, having seen bits of her life, John seriously doubted she'd ever been allowed the fun of an Amusement Park. So why here? What was the purpose?

Papyrus
Eyesockets widening slightly, Papyrus felt almost at a loss. His new friends were fighting his newer friends, and it all was just... so very wrong!
It wasn't until the massive creature who looked so very huggable even as it roared ferociously got its tail removed, that the skeleton realized he couldn't stand by and do nothing.
"STOP!" He shrieked, blue bones launching up into the air- and negating Jevil's strike just before it could reach its weakened target. The Devilsknives sparked against the blue bones, sparking like a saw blade against metal, but the bones held, effectively blocking the attack as Papyrus frowned (or at least the skeleton equivalent). Hunter was spared, for now. "NONE OF YOU ARE BEING NICE! STOP FIGHTING, AND... AND..." They weren't going to listen to him. They'd ignored him earlier, why would they listen now? "...AND I WON'T HAVE TO ASK MORE FORCEFULLY!"

Yes, that seemed like the right thing to say. His new friend Jevil was fast, but Papyrus was certain he could talk them down before things got too far out of hand. And the big creature missing its tail... well... that could just be stitched back together, right? He was certain it could. Swinging his bone staff heroically in front of him as he struck a pose, Papyrus was practically demanding the attention of all those around him, sure he would receive it. "ALL THIS VIOLENCE HAS GOTTEN OUT OF HAND! IT'S NOT FUN, AND IT CERTAINLY ISN'T COOL!"

The Dragonborn
The battle began, and Slash immediately went for the target that was the rat. Well enough with the Dragonborn, who turned his attention on the man with the weird crossbow- who was immediately firing. Expecting a bolt, the Dragonborn was too slow to raise his axe to deflect. The bullet pinged against his chestplate, making him take a step back in surprise, confused on what had just hit him. After a short moment, he realized it had been the crossbow, firing small bolts faster than he'd ever seen them fired before.
Taking off at a sprint, the Dragonborn leapt over a magma-filled gap to another platform, evading the bolts as they whizzed by, some managing to ping off his armor.

Leaping to another platform, he neared his opponent, who continued his barrage of bolts up, gazing stoically upon the Dragonborn. The iron armor was enough to prevent any of the shots from doing too much, but it had been fortunate not of the bolts had hit the exposed bits of skin about. Electing to take his own advice and make this short, the Dragonborn arrived on the platform where Regular Guy was, rolling under another shot before reaching the man and swinging up with his axe, connected with the crossbow as the man used it to deflect, then turned the Dragonborn's weight against him, making him stumble past to receieve another bolt in the back of his head. The thick helmet the Dragonborn wore protected the contents of his brain, but it still made his ears ring from the impact. He slammed his leg out behind him, connecting with the man's knee.
He dropped as the Dragonborn turned, and shouted a quick "FUS!", which blasted Regular Guy back, disorienting him enough for the Dragonborn to toss his axe like a tomahawk- and it stuck in the man's head. With a flash of golden light, he was replaced by a trophy.

Quick, a little sloppy, but the job was done. Had the Dragonborn been less adamant about making this as fast as possible, he was certain that Regular Guy had the potential to put up a decent fight. Alas, it was not to be. A moment later, another gold flash filled the room, and the trophy of Mouse Guy landed on the ground. The Nord and Slash shared a look as the crowd erupted into cheers.

"WOW. THAT JUST RUDE. NO FUN! DON'T YOU WORRIES THOUGH! NEXT TIME THESE TWO FIGHTS OUR CHAMPION!"

With that, the floor was closing back up, the trophies hauled off, and the Nord with his companion being led off. "Just like we planned." He muttered toward Slash as they neared their cell after a minute or two.

Undyne
"No time to talk." Undyne grinned in reply to Sonic. "You and I are finding and taking on Nagisa!" She immediately leaped through the window as she said this, conjuring a platform to use- before a sudden force erupted behind her, flinging her forward through the air, gritting her teeth. Ears somewhat ringing, she flipped in the air cat-like to look back at the blast that had torn a hole through the building- which was currently unstable enough that it was beginning to fall, headed right for Tails.
"Damnit." She growled, regaining herself immediately to spring off a platform and streak toward the ground like a bullet, landing on one of the Beast Monokuma with enough force to topple it to the ground. It wasn't destroyed by any means, but she wasn't concerned with that right now. "Miles, let's move or get crushed!" She yelled at the mech-covered Tails as she summoned a spear and knocked a glancing blow from a Beast Monokuma aside as the one she stood on began to get up.

The ground around them began to glow blue, stretching about the entire street as Undyne leaped into the air, a strained smirk on her face as she pushed herself higher using her platforms, which were proving to be extremely handy. They'd never been of too much use underground in all the tight, cramped spaces- yet here? Open air? It was pretty reliable.
The building was beginning to topple down on the scene, and the spears Undyne had summoned from the ground were intended to pin the forces there, while also providing Miles an opening to escape, and forcing the Monokuma to be crushed under the building.
Hopefully.

Sans
Audrey apologized after snatching the bile he was handing to her, telling Sans she was used to 'yoinking' stuff from temples. This was enough to earn a somewhat amused chuckle from the skeleton as he watched her retreat back to Vio with the vial, still putting on a mild, timid appearance opposed to her savagery earlier. He felt pretty certain 'heroes' didn't 'yoink' loot from temples. He'd had his eyes on her since the start, and now, she was finally doing something he could do something about.

She yelled in anger and annoyance at Psyduck, preparing a blast of lightning that she directed at the duck before he could even reach Gunvolt. While Sans didn't move from his spot, the lightning struck absolutely nothing. Psyduck was still hurtling through the air from a completely different direction, a second away from crashing into Vio's back. The duck, no doubt disoriented, wouldn't be able to deliver the blow as intended, only able to crash into the boy at this rate, but Audrey's attack hadn't landed.

Standing casually near Feyrbrand, Sans glanced toward Donkey Kong and Buzzwole, who were continuing their match- and he proceeded to join in, appearing as though he hadn't just saved Psyduck from the blast. "sans sans, sans." He proceeded to inform Buzzwole as he struck a rather bold pose, saying 'sans sans, sans' in Buzzwole's language.

As the building's interior was blown apart by the Railgun blast, it was sent crashing down towards Tails, and consequently any monokuma within his vicinity. Tails was shocked by this development, sprinting in the opposite direction of the crash. His gun rotated to the aft section, blasting any Monokuma that tailed him, allowing the building to crush any remnant as he barley escaped certain death.

"Phew...that was close." He eeked out. "Maybe if they think I was taken out by that, I can take them by surprise!"

Meanwhile with Undyne, they appeared to expect an aerial assault. Although some fell victim to their attacks, a previously hidden squad of Monokumas came forth from the building, outfitted in military colors. They set up what looked like Mortars, aiming them right up in the sky. Not only this, but from the eight level of the building ahead, the windows opened, revealing a pair of Monokuma wielding Missile launches over their shoulders.

*Burst!* *Pshooooo!*

All the mortars launched upwards, prepared to burst mid air before they even reached Undyne, a flak shell meant for aerial targets. The missiles meanwhile would lock on to her, hoping to slam into and destroy her with a wild explosion. All the while several others attempted to just shoot you with pistols, rifles, or even small rocks.

Hearing the answer, the robot turned ahead, looking at nothing in particular.

"Nor does this unit."

Not taking it's weapon off hot, it was prepared to pull the trigger on any unknown entity in the vicinity. They had cornered them here. There must be a reason.

Vio
Jungle

The duck was becoming more of a nuisance than anything else. Vio side stepped to the left of the battle, hoping to just get his task done. Grabbing the articles that he was given, he seemed to roll his eyes, knowing exactly what had happened. He interfered despite him telling the skeleton not to. Throwing the waste sample aside, he elected to simply take one himself, taking his blade with one hand and drawing the sample directly from the carcass.

lifting the blade toward his canteen, he let it trickle into it before flicking his blade dry. He walked over to a nearby tree and placed the canteen and the Scale on the ground. That's where he took the scale he was given, using his sword to scrape away a thin layer of the scale over and over again until it became a refined powder.

"Now what was missing..." he thought to himself as he powered in the powder, referencing his book. "Ah, there it is."

Quickly, he delivered a swift stab to the tree behind him, drawing a small stream of sap. Taking his blade out of the wound he delivered, he let the amber colored fluid fall into place. Withdrawing a thin cut from the scale, he placed it in the canteen, using it to stir the contents thoroughly.

"If I am correct, the contents of this canteen should be enough to cure, if not severely reduce the effectiveness of this virus when it's fully mixed in. Though we will have to take small drops as to make sure it goes around."

Psyduck
He bounced across the ashy dirt, evading the lightning thanks to Sans. He got up and looked at Audrey, yet another challenger about to face the wrath of The Duck. He picked up a nearby rock again and plopped it back down in front of himself, rolling his neck. He cracked his knuckles as well, this person was gonna get it.

Tabby

Tabby was about to reply, when something burst through the wall. On reflex, he dashed to the side, dodging the shot. He looked around. The other two were gone, and there was a huge hole in the wall and floor. And what was left of the floor seemed to be- shifting. Tabby jumped out of the window whence he came in, apparently the building was crumbling. And on top of Tails, too! He seemed to handle himself, but just as that problem was resolved, another arose, with multiple Monokumas shooting at Undyne. He fired at the missiles with his SMG, exploding them and eliminating that threat for her, but she'd have to deal with that other stuff herself. Turning his attention back to the building ahead, he started to scan the areas ahead for an energy signature. If that didn't work, he enabled the newly-acquired x-ray function, since if he couldn't see it with visible light it would likely be revealed by x-rays.

Vs The Knight

The dark-hearted warrior withdrew his blade from the chest of the trophy-fying creature and turned back to the battle behind him. Damn, all of these enemies haven't allowed The Knight to draw pain from them. Well, these other ones hopefully would have pain he could draw from. He turned back to the battle behind him, and it seemed like the skeleton was ready to fight. Not a wise decision as his allies dropped like flies, but so be it. He fired his grappling harpoon into the brachiosaurus on the field, dragging himself back onto the main battlefield. He retracted it a little before impact, and then made a beeline for Papyrus. Black tendrils once again coiled around his blade, reaching out behind The Knight and doubling the blade's length. Then, once within range, he heaved the sword over his head and down onto the skeleton, snapping anything weaker than steel that got in its way.

Gunvolt - Jungle

The Azure Striker nearly took a headbutt to the face when an invisible force hurled Psyduck away and right towards Vio, who simply stepped out of the way. Audrey's lightning barely missed Gunvolt, impacting a nearby tree and destroying it, sending bark flying everywhere. Why did the duck attack him, though? Was Psyduck trying to protect the key Gunvolt suspected he had?

The Adept stood back up with this in mind, and it seemed Vio was pretty much finished with his cure. Well, there was no guarantee it would completely remove the poison's effects, but any kind of healing effect would be good. Slowly walking over to the elf, he'd grab the canteen from Vio once he finished mixing and had his couple drops. Drinking a little bit of the liquid, it tasted... awful, as he expected. Not like some concoction made out of sap, dragon scales, bile and powder would have a nice flavor. He hoped the effects would kick in soon.

Trying his best to ignore the cure's equally terrible aftertaste, Gunvolt realized Psyduck was still trying to pick a fight. He didn't completely understand the duck's intentions, but he definitely didn't want anyone to get injured because of some dumb quarrel. Sighing, the Azure Striker stood in between the duck and Audrey.

"Knock it off, there's no point in fighting." He spoke. "Tell me, do you have a key with you?"

Copen - Field of Hopes and Dreams

Papyrus really wanted to find a peaceful solution to this conflict. Copen couldn't blame him- he too wished they could get by without having to fight. But judging by the opposing team's unprovoked attacks and their nature in general, he seriously doubted that would be the case. The teen performed a Bullit Dash over to Hunter, landing on his mount's head carefully as to not harm Brachio. Jevil's attack had luckily been intercepted by Papyrus, but he couldn't afford Hunter getting taken out. If they played their cards right, they could keep things even.

"Don't try to attack the jester." He warned the boy. "His attacks are too frequent and quick for you and Brachio to handle effectively. Deal with the one wielding a sword, he's grounded and not as fast. Make sure to stay safe." Those last few words had a tinge of worry to them. He was the only other member of Team Green still standing, and he still wasn't completely sure if those that had become trophies could be brought to life. Even if they were, it would be hard to find a chance to do so in the middle of a battle. So if Hunter were to fall... his chances of winning would drop significantly.

"Papyrus, these guys wiped out two of our friends already! I also wish we didn't have to fight, but don't you realize they're not listening?" Lola shouted back, trying to get the skeleton to see that the jester and his ally weren't friends. She already knew the enemies wouldn't stop attacking, and she was sure her creator thought the same. She switched EX Weapons to Anchor Nexus, preparing for what would come next.

We can't let them get away with this...!

Sure enough, the armored human with a sword was on the move, ready to deal a devastating blow to the skeleton. Copen released a flurry of laser shots towards the Knight in hopes of delaying his attack and give Papyrus some extra time to dodge and counterattack. The teen gave Hunter a nod before jumping off Brachio, Anchor Nexus activating as he did so. The P-Bits formed two triangles around him, though for now they seemed to do nothing else. Copen performed a Bullit Dash towards Jevil, waiting to see how he would react to his attack.

Now was when he tested out his new strategy.

The Knight - Garreg Mach Monastery

With the team having dealt another significant blow to the Gatekeepers, three more dark clones appeared to defend them. Surely the fight would be over soon. Crashing down with a Void explosion, the Knight examined the new opponents. One of them looked very similar to the rock beetle and attacked the white wolf. A dark lion attacked the human, while the third enemy, a plant-wolf of sorts disappeared underground.

Trusting the others to have their respective opponents handled, the Knight chose to focus on the plant-wolf alongside Kragg. Expecting an attack from below, the Vessel got ready to jump and swing its nail downwards in hopes of intercepting the dark clone's attack once it showed itself.

~Guile...~

After dealing with the floating orbs, more creatures appeared. "More, huh?" Guile commented.

Guile saw the flaming lion creature charge at him. Much like the opponents that Guile and the others faced thus far. This creature two was another animal of sorts. Guile didn't have much time to analyze the creature so he closed the gap, and went for a crescent kick then pulled his leg back for a second kick. He then threw an uppercut to the jaw.

Brachio roared in pain as the harpoon pierced her skin, how dare they hurt her in such an indignant manner? She was a living creature, not some rock protrusion! As Hunter and Brachio listened carefully to Copen's words of advice, the sauropod made sure to follow them as it reared up and attempted to slam all 47.6 short tons of her being onto the Knight with widened feet as she used Mighty Stomp. Although it normally would shuffle the team composition of the opposing Fossil Fighter, it also worked great as a means to squish anything smaller than it. These guys hurt her friends and she was not going to let that slide.

Prometheus waited in the capsule until it landed on the ground, taking the time to listen to the smooth jazz that Eggman allowed him to play. It was good music, and he wished he discovered it earlier. When the ground was within travel distance, the Reploid teleported to the ground and looked around. There was no one directly within sight, but that was because of those damned buildings. Besides, he was supposed to cause chaos and destruction, so why not kill two birds with one stone? Aiming both of his hands with open palms towards a building, a concentrated flamethrower began eating away at the construction, soon setting it ablaze. Other buildings quickly followed in its path, but it was not going fast enough for Prometheus. Flying up into the sky, two pillars of fire erupted from the ground and swirled away from him, igniting whatever happened to be in the way. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Perish, perish! I will burn it all to ash!"

-------------

Cortana's voice rang inside Geo's head, revealing that she managed to find a way to communicate with them. This was great news, and the boy could not stop himself from smiling. The smile grew a bit weaker as Master Chief began patting him on the back after kneeling down. It felt nice to have confirmation that this giant was real, but it also felt weird to see the stone-faced leader do anything else than giving orders and firing a gun. The fact that he admitted that he did not need to 'recharge' like the others and his immense size made Megaman think that Chief was a robot of some sorts, perhaps a Matter Wave? He'd never heard anything about a Matter Wave like Chief before though, so perhaps it was a different model? That was of later concern though, right now he had to make sure Bennett was okay.

"Thank you ma'am, sir. I will let you know if something is going on." After waving at Chief and Gamma, Geo ran into the amusement park with concern overruling his fear. He'd been at an unsettling amusement park before and was attacked by Crown Thunder who turned the amusement park into a ship on collision course with the mainland, and that was when he knew what he was up against. In this place of death and despair? Geo was basically fighting blind, and Bennett was not the luckiest individual around. Preparing a charged shot just in case, the Blue Bomber followed after Bennett. It was better to be with someone in this place.

Undyne
Explosives. Of course. She couldn't even be surprised, the only thing worth being shocked about was the fact that it took them this long to bring them out. These guys were too predictable. Sporting a grin born of pure confidence, the fish woman stomped on the discarded hood of a car, launching it up into the air, where she proceeded to kick it sky high- blowing up against a mortar headed straight for her. As Tabby dealt with the closest threats for her, she retaliated against the mortars and the rockets with simple tactics. Meeting each one head-on with spears, blowing each projectile mid-air with practices ease as she took off at a sprint, her wounds having fully healed at this point from her earlier scuffles, leading her ready to sport more battle scars.

Mentally marking each Monokuma using the explosives in her mind, she leaped into the air with impressive agility, though lacking some grace, and made her next move. Arrows began to appear a split second before the rockets or mortars would fire, impacting the projectile just as they would launch, erupting them in the faces of their users and effectively beginning to wipe out the heavy artillery. This was child's play, and the Captain hungered for bigger prey.
"Come on out, Nagisa! You know you can't beat me in a one on one but at least let me wreck your mech!" She bellowed out as a Monokuma charged her, in which she proceeded to knock its claws aside, before impaling it like a kebab, and swinging it about to crash into another of the robots with enough force to shatter both apart, simultaneously summoning an array of arrows to rip apart many of the Monokuma attempting to flank her, thwarting their plans.

Her taunting was an attempt to get Nagisa to focus on her, and allow her allies more wiggle room. Sub-Zero's plan was already beginning to look a lot more appealing now, but even so, Undyne loved a good challenge. Like hell she was gonna back down now.

Master Chief (co-written by Shen)
As the others moved about to do their thing, taking advantage of their current rest time, John and Gamma stood awkwardly near one another, looking about at nothing, both almost exact in height. To many, it would probably look funny to see these two behemoths with nothing better than to stand around and look pretty. Awkwardly.
Clearing his throat after a moment, the Spartan glanced at E-102. "So... you work for Robotnik, huh?"
The question was delivered as lame as it sounds.

"Affirmative." The robot responded bluntly. "And what faction do you pledge allegiance?"

"The UNSC." The Spartan stated just as bluntly, though after a pause between them, he supposed his answer didn't do its job. "It's a militarized space-faring government." He glanced toward the robot, his head tilting ever so slightly in a brief show of curiosity. "You're not like the other robots Robotnik has."

Noting this information for later, the robot continued it's brief speaking, a ever so slightly head rotation to accompany it.
"Explain."

Arms unfolding, the Spartan's poise seemed to lessen its stiffness somewhat. "You're clearly tougher. You're also inquisitive." He informed. "You seem to have sentience. Do you? Free will and all?"
Pausing for a brief moment, he ran a quick diagnostic. A small beep emitted before he rotated forward again. "Sentience is not on the schematics." He responded. "Cannot be possible. Cannot. An impossibility."

"Understood." Chief replied, facing forward again, watching Geo's retreating back. Gamma's insistence on the matter... something just didn't settle right for him. Cortana remained silent during the interaction, leaving John to ponder. In his own universe, sentient intelligences were greatly feared, and it was only thanks to creating shackles on Smart AI that they were even allowed to exist in the first place, shackles that didn't exist on Cortana, one of the reasons she was an illegal creation. She had unbound free will, capable to do as she pleased/ Decommissioning her would solely rely on her cooperation- and his.
Perhaps Robotnik designed similar shackles to hinder his own creations. Gamma's inquisitive nature displayed earnest to the Spartan, leading him to believe there was more than was being said. He wouldn't press on the matter, however. Feeling he'd pushed far enough on 'prying' Gamma for information, he fell silent once again, arms returning to being folded across his chest as he waited inevitably for someone to call for him, or for a monster to arrive.

Sans (auto perms granted)
"relax." The skeleton was at it again, walking calmly forward, seemingly abandoning his flex-off. "i speak psyduck. i'll get your answer." With that, he turned to Psyduck, grinning brightly and ignoring an annoyed sigh from Vio, who was by far the most done with Sans' antics. "psy." Sans spoke. "psyduck psyduck, psyduck psyduck psyduck psy psyduck?" Truth be told, he in fact didn't know how to speak Psyduck, but he clearly said something as the duck seemed to calm in his anger, tilted his head to the side with a frown. Only Psyduck knew what Sans had actually said, being 'sup. you like long walks on the beach?" At this point, Psyduck appeared to ponder on this question, before he gave a curt; "Psyduck?" He asked. Sans turned back to look at Gunvolt. "he said 'yeah'. emphasis on 'yeah'."

Papyrus
The armored one carrying a big sword was coming right for the skeleton, who smiled. "ARE YOU RUSHING TO EMBRACE MY IDEALS OF PEACE AND PARTNERSHIP?" He questioned, to which the Knight responded with a slash- but was interrupted by an attack from Copen, disrupting the attack just enough to narrowly avoid a momentarily stunned Papyrus as Lola's words pierced through his thick skull.
He knew they weren't listening, but to such an extent? It was... it was...
The bone wielded by Papyrus began to glow cyan as his eyesockets narrowed. It would almost look threatening if he wasn't so comically built. "VERY WELL. A SPARRING MATCH, I WILL ENGAGE IN- EN GARDE!" His grin returning in full, he continued to seemingly not grasp the gravity of their situation as he held his bone out like a rapier, one hand resting comfortably behind his back as he took this pose, though his prose was interrupted by the giant huggable as she barreled in to try and crush the Knight leaving Papyrus to leap multiple paces back to ensure his continued existence. All of the combatants failing to notice the azure eyes glaring at them from the shadows stretched about, unseen by all, watching all, the only note of his presence seeming to be a chill in the wind. A herald of his arrival.

Urban District

"What an insolent woman." Nagisa spat to no one in particular from inside the building. "That ploy would have only worked on Masaru or Kotoko. No. A king doesn't leave their fortress. They command their knights to dominate the battlefield!"

*Honk Hoooooonk!*

Suddenly outside of the building, a screeching of tires were heard. Around the corner, a heavily armored eighteen wheeler truck came bounding down the road. It seemed decked out with welded on iron plates, spikes littering the front of it where a lone Monokuma with a trucker's overalls and a pipe drove.

The sides appeared to have cut outs, but only enough for lone gun barrels to point out. And as icing on the cake, several monokuma with fishing rods and hats stood atop, hoisting nets of some kind.

The truck sped down aiming to smash right into Undyne, driving wildly around the place whilst the guns revved up and fired. But instead of bullets, they're fired a barrage or electric charges of some kind, aimed on shutting down Tabby. For even if they were parried, electricity on a metal object would prove most unpleasant. For sonic, the ones atop the truck would toss their nets, aiming to snag the blue blur as the remaining monokuma in the square still gave chase, Beast Monokuma hot on his and Undyne's tails.

Jungle

"Bear in mind, while this may cure it, the effects might not be permanent. It is very likely that it may spring up again. We are after all, throwing science at the wall and seeing what sticks. But at least this will stop it for the time being."

Taking a swig of it himself, Vio cringed slightly, trying to hide his discomfort, before passing it toward Donkey Kong, hoping the big monkey would take a small drink and not gulp it down.

"Fair warning, tastes putrid."

Psyduck
Man, what a strange creature that skeleton was. But Psyduck then realized that it was the thought that counted, and this not-Psyduck was trying his best to understand The Duck. Truly touching. Suddenly, Psyduck's stomach rumbled. Not the hungry kind of rumbly, but the upset kind. He clutched his belly, making a face before pointing at Audrey. He shouted, "Psyduck psyduck! [You stay right there!]" Psyduck ran behind a tree, and...

"BLEEAUUUUURRGHHHHH!!!"

The Duck had puked up the key that he had swallowed earlier! He walked back over to the group, feeling a lot better besides the poison, and resumed an attitude of battle against Audrey.

Tabby
The closest source of energy similar to that of the earlier mechs seemed to be coming from inside the building! If that's where the shooter was, then their aim was impressive, to be sure. A truck barreled from around the corner, choc-full of all sorts of Monokumas. It was no way as sophisticated as a mech, but it would be tough to take down. They started firing electricity at him, no solid parts to deflect within. He dashed out of the way of the first few shots, and then spidermanned his way upwards. Tabby could unfortunately not avoid every shot, and was zapped by a couple before he could make it higher than the guns could aim. Then, he fell, taking out his katana as he landed atop the truck. To the fishing net wielding teddy bears up there with him, his face displayed a single message:
Come get some!

Vs The Knight
The lasers hit against The Knight's armor, not doing much to slow the heavy blade as it fell, but the skeleton managed to evade anyhow. Next up was a large purple dinosaur, trying to step on him. Knight slid backwards to evade, although the shockwave of the impact made him fall backwards. He pushed himself back up with a black tendril, the very same type that coated his blade yet again as he thrust at the center of the beast's chest.

Undyne
Not coming out, eh? Figures. He was definitely more of a coward than the others. The honking of a car caught her attention as Undyne swatted another Monokuma aside, ripping a spear up through its middle and splitting the robot in half. The car itself looked like it belonged in a hardcore zombie show or something, decked out for the apocalypse. Their mistake was focusing their fire on Tabby and Sonic while attempting to ram Undyne.
Hadn't these punks learned anything yet?

She held her ground for a moment as the incoming Monokuma backed off, waiting for her to get rammed, yet at the last second, she leaped up into the air, spinning her spear like the blades of a helicopter as she turned upside down midair. The spear cut through one of the Monokuma on top, reducing it to scrap metal that went flying as the truck sailed past too fast for the other roof-bound Monokuma to react. That wasn't all she'd done, however, as spears erupted from the ground where the truck's tires were spinning by the dozens, intending on ripping them to shreds and canceling the vehicle's mobility entirely.

For good measure, the cherry on top was another series of arrows zipping through the air to continue ripping up the Monokuma that continued to try and surround her and get close. This was, so far, all too easy, and she wasn't gonna keep that a secret. "Come on, Nagisa!" She yelled with a laugh. "If you're too much of a coward to come out here, then at least let me destroy your toughest toys!" She taunted.

Donkey Kong
It... would have been better if the Kong had been saved for last. He dwarfed almost everyone there without even presenting his full height, so that was indication enough that the ape was used to larger than life helpings. He could eat over a hundred bananas a day, and this kid wanted him to take a little sip of some green juice?
It ran down to his stomach in one quick swig. The concoction was gone, at least until Vio made another batch. The Kong smacked his lips, tasting the cure for a moment, before deciding it wasn't his favorite juice but by all means it was far from horrible. Donkey Kong proceeded to give Vio his signature thumbs up by way of thanks, and a reassurance that the concoction wasn't as terrible as Vio claimed.

Papyrus
"NYEH!" Papyrus screeched as the Knight attempted to attack the huggable giant. That was obviously not going to happen on the skeleton's watch, he still had to give the giant creature a hug and maybe sew its tail back on. Somehow. That's how bodies worked, after all. So simple and efficient, he was certainly glad he was biologically intellectual. Among everything else. Was there anything he didn't know? Surely not.
Before the Knight could even come in range, a wall of horizontal blue bones erupted in front of his path, side-shotting his blade as well as forcing him to relent, the wall of bones unmoving against his power.

"YOU SHALL NOT HARM MY HUGGABLE FRIEND!" Papyrus proclaimed. "IF YOU WISH TO BATTLE, I AM YOUR ONLY OPTION! I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO ATTACK ANYONE ELSE!" Emboldened, Papyrus against swiped his blue bone through the air with an air of heroics. "BUT BE WARNED! YOU WON'T WANT ME TO USE MY BLUE ATTACK!"

Audrey Redheart

"Ugh, fine, but if he wants a fight, he'll get one. Don't stop me if he tries to start it again." She snapped at Gunvolt, feeling queasy all of a sudden. With her already bad mood and, well, generally being Audrey, she didn't seem to be acting nice. At all.
"Is...Is that it out? I hope it is, I feel like it was just being rude to me." She commented as Psyduck returned from the...ahem.

"Looks like it wants to fight....!" She internally laughed. Good, maybe a way to vent rage if the duck still wished to fight. Heck, then at least there would be less in-fighting...though for some reason, she felt uneasy about doing this. Why?

That skeleton. Her Lightning was stopped earlier. Why? It didn't really add up...but the skeleton seemed like the only one who could. That weird pink thing looked dumb, the duck was attacking, Gunvolt was about to be attacked, and Vio is or was working away on that potion or whatever. Had to be the skeleton that saved the duck.

I'll deal with him, first time he shows signs of evil. After all, stopping me from taking down an aggressor? That's a villain thing, alright.

Audrey clenched her sword in an angry but casual stance, glaring at Psyduck as she somewhat 'studied' the thing's attitude, despite assuming her assumption of the duck still wanting to attack to be correct.

Neo Metal Sonic
The metallic hedgehog finally arrived at the jungle-like area. He had taken a detour to deposit the key somewhere else so that there wasn't a risk of it being stolen, which was the reason he had taken so long. As he neared the area, he immediately found the group he had come across when taking the key from Ice Cap Zone. It seemed they had gotten some new members, now having 8 members instead of 3. It would be best to avoid confrontation here. Metal scanned the area and found the key located in...a pile of feces? How...peculiar. The metallic blue blur made a beep similar to a groan before blasting forwards at high speeds and firing a beam at the feces pile, disintegrating the feces, leaving it up for grabs while also being less gross. Metal swooped in, likely alerting the group, and fell to the ground near the key, looking back at them with a glare. He'd rather avoid confrontation with the large group, but if he could scan them he'd become significantly more powerful, so that was worth the risk in his opinion. He held up a hand as if he was going to use an attack. In reality, it wasn't. This was merely bait to get the enemies to attack so that Metal could observe.
@literally everyone in the jungle that I don't feel like tagging

Jevil
The darker looked at Papyrus in confusion as he stated his opinion. Not cool? Not fun?! Jevil teleported right beside Papyrus, leaning on his shoulder while hovering in the air to fully reach the skeleton's height. "But that is most untrue, my skeleton friend! For we are just playing games, and games are very fun indeed, no?" Jevil said with a chuckle before turning around as he heard a sound, emo electric boy dashing towards him. Jevil vanished, being replaced with a larger, red devilsknife that dashed towards Copen at high speeds, hopefully slicing through him as he was already in the middle of dashing. This scythe was accompanied by several others of the same appearance, which closed in on Copen from the other sides.
Meanwhile, Jevil appeared right behind Hunter, opening his mouth with a laugh, several spades emerging from it, heading towards Hunter's back and head.

Sonic the Hedgehog
The blue blur shrugged as Undyne said that they were going to find and take on Nagisa. "Works for me." He said before leaping out of the building, narrowly but unknowingly avoiding Nagisa's sniper shot, landing on the ground with a roll. As he stood up straight again, he noticed a large armored truck barreling towards them. Sonic quickly sidestepped to avoid a net that was thrown at him. "Woah!" He said before leaping up tens of meters, smirking confidently before boosting on top of the truck, landing with a slide. The monokumas turned towards him and fired their nets once more. Sonic jumped up, causing the nets to miss and hit the monokuma across from the ones who fired, leaving only a few, who Sonic then Homing Attacked before they could react, knocking them off the truck. The hedgehog leapt off the truck and landed on the ground before boosting forward, cutting a hole in the Warriors of Hope's defenses and sprinting through it, getting even closer to the docked ship

Gengar
The ghost-poison type gasped dramatically, astonished that Red could say such a thing about rollercoasters. Gengar proceeded to dive into a nearby shadow and change its shape to represent how rollercoasters worked, showing a moving image of one going around and little stick people in it, having fun. (Sorry that this part is so short.)

Aegislash
The Royal Sword pokémon nodded at the man in armor in acknowledgement, floating down the hall calmly. As they neared their cell, the large beast began to push them inside, but Aegislash turned around and sliced them clean across the neck. This would’ve beheaded the guard if the laws of this strange world didn’t apply. However, they did and instead he was replaced by a trophy. Aegislash grabbed it by the head to prevent it from falling over, making sure it was still before letting go. The pokemon turned and nodded at Dragonborn.
