[Shen: King of Digimon]

As the Rocket came closer and closer toward Marshadow, the ghost fighting type decided to use a desperate move. Powering up their Z move, they shot several tiny spheres of darkness at NiGHTS, only meant to paralyze and do tiny bits of damage. But as soon as the first one hit-

*KA-BLOOEY!*

A cartoony purple and pink explosion occurred right near Marshadow, NiGHTS transforming amidst the explosion. The highly damaging attack radiated throughout. If Marshadow was still standing, NiGHTS would hide in the cover of the explosion cloud before attacking with a drill drive from behind.

Since the axe kick missed, Gunvolt Air Jumped backwards and landed in between the Kirby on the left and the one in the middle, quickly recharging. He had noticed that they were sitting ducks as long as they were reflecting, so that gave him an idea. He fired a dart at the Kirby to the left so he'd be stuck reflecting as well, then quickly stomped the ground to use the attack he had used earlier, but not give it away as much. He purposefully delayed it to combo it into another move, jumping to get better positioning and potentially dodge the dart that would be reflected at him.

He briefly concentrated before striking the pose he normally did when using a Skill, when three Crashbolts suddenly rained down on each of the Kirbys, while electricity burst from below them at the same time. With them being unable to move while reflecting, they'd either have to take the Crashbolts and electricity, which would hopefully overpower the shields, or drop the shields and get tagged due to the darts' speed!

The advancing kirby saw the dart, but managed to slide under it, knowing that it'll follow him. It managed to make it to the stuck kirbies and, with a swipe of his scepter, reflected the darts away, using their built up momentum to send them crashing into the wall with no hope of turning. The original kirby leapted, using his Mirror body-Ring move, summoning a ring of 5 Kirby clones around himself. They locked nubs, huddling into a ball, and summoned their barriers as the lighting struck from above and below. It had the effect of a disco ball, reflecting out the lighting in wild blasts and lazers.

Marshadow keeps steady when teh explosion happened. He was expecting it to pause, but apparently he was mistaken. There wasn't much he could do other than push through. So, his body shone with spectral energy as the explosion engulfed him, swinging his fist as he dove in the middle of the explosion, despite the searing pain.

NiGHTS’s opponent must have been on their last legs after taking a drill drive, a paraloop, a flaming boulder, and now an explosion. They just needed to end the fight. Since NiGHTS was already in the middle of delivering their attack, Marshadow dove in blindly, having no idea where they were. A perfect set up.

NiGHTS’s attack wasn’t countered, so they delivered their drill drive attack right at the small of Marshadow’s back. Now that they impacted, they’d drill harder and harder until they drove Marshadow down into the ground, pulverizing them into the black sludge that made up it’s form.

Gunvolt certainly didn't expect more Kirbys to appear, forming a ball to deflect the Crashbolts together, shooting wildly in all directions, breaking the large windows the room had. Even if he had great resistance to his own lightning, he couldn't risk taking any more damage than he needed to. His reflexes kicked in, dodging most of the electricity that came at him, though his right arm did get shocked, as well as his chest. His armor did help mitigate the damage, so paired with his resistance it wasn't too bad. Having so many Kirbys to deal with wasn't good, though, he needed to take them all out quickly. He was back at three SP now, so at least that was good. The Crashbolts would disappear in a bit, so he needed to make sure they wouldn't move away from his next attack.

Thinking fast, he shot an electric blast that curved around the Kirbys and surrounded the ball continously, effectively trapping them in an electric field. If they tried to move through, it would follow along, keeping them trapped. With the barrier in place, Gunvolt saw an opportunity to either do big damage or get rid of the copy ability. He used his Air Dash to move to the side of the ball, facing the broken windows with the ball in front of him.

Sacred sword agleam, barbarous and bathed in blue, cleaving right from wrong! Luxcalibur! He chanted in his head as to not give his intentions away, the massive electric sword materializing right as he landed. He swung its flat side at the ball with great power, planning to knock it off the building in one swing!

The kirby ball landed, and the puffballs separated. The all collectively sighed as Gunvolt shot another volley of darts, before splitting as electricity surrounded them. The looked around ins surprise as a electric field surrounded, them, and jumped when Gunvolt brought up his Luxcaliber. Four kirbys rolled up, summoning their barriers as the other four grabbed hold of them, rearing up and launching them out of the field, avoiding being shocked by the field with their mirror shield. The kirbys cheered...right before they were buenos diased by the Luxcaliber shattering them.
Meanwhile the launched kirbys were above Gunvolt. They all used Mirror body diagonally, sending clones over at Gunvolt in a flash, as well as keeping them at a distance. The four close clones, swung their scepters, aiming at Gunvolt's head.

Marshadow world was spinning. No wait...it was himself. He could see the blurred floor close in, and once NiGHTS drilled into the floor, he turned shadow again, avoiding the painful drilling he was going to take if he didn't. Mashadow slid and jumped right next to NiGHTS, using Force Palm at close range. He felt like he was burning, but refused to be taken out so easily.

After NiGHTS saw Marshadow disappear right as they hit the ground, they knew they just have seeped back into a shadow, and shadows are only cast on the ground. Knowing this, NiGHTS saw Marshadow leap out, a force palm at the ready.

The jester turned to where chest was pointing toward Marshadow, a gaping hole in it already. So when Marshadow attack, the Force palm fell right into the hole! Using this newfound advantage, NiGHTS would grasp their confused martial artist’s wrist and power slam them into the floor.

~Commander John Shepard...~

"Joker, huh... is he a clown or something?" Shepard thought to himself. He then saw a young boy in all black, he seemed to look just like the picture. Shepard went ahead and approached the boy, "Hello there, I'm John Shepard and I'm pleased to meet you, it looks like we are fighting the next round. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance" Shepard said cheerfully choosing the paragon speech option instead of the renegade one.

~Johnny Cage...~

Johnny began looking around aimlessly ,and eventually saw a young blond haired boy in a sharp fancy yet archaic style of outfit, "This kid from medieval era or something? What's up with that costume?" Johnny thought to himself. Johnny slight reluctantly walked over to him cheerfully. Perhaps he was a friendly boy, "Hi! How are you. Cage. Johnny Cage. A pleasure to meet you, likewise? I'm sure! Smile and wave to the cameras boy!" Johnny said grabbing the boys hand to shake it, he turned his head and waved in different angles assuming there were cameras around to catch his good side.

Sly continued to sit there like a bump on a log watching the fights, "This place has everything from pink gumballs to weird mecha robots, what's next? tentacles or alien space ships?" Sly said as he continued to watch the fights with curiosity.

Bowie
"Who cares why he's here. All that matters is that he's here and that's awesome. Don't tell me he isn't at least kinda cool. Like, he's a talking blue hedgehog with super speed, who wouldn't think that's cool. So, if you're here that must mean you're fighting in the tournament right? So who's your next opponent, they must be peeing their pants if they have to go against you... unless it's Masaru of course. Wait, it isn't Masaru right? I would be really conflicted if it were Masaru so you better not tell me it's him."

Bandana Dee
Bandana Dee reeled at the claws leaving his body. Obviously he had scared the robot away, but that didn't improve his own situation much. He had to make favorable conditions for this fight, but every spear attack he had tried on the robot had not yielded much effect. That said, Bandana Dee did have one more "weapon" in his arsenal, though he wasn't sure how much help it would be. That said, it was his only shot to change things up for now. Bandana Dee pulled back on the spear he was using as a kind of crutch and catapulted forward off of it in the opposite direction of Metal. This along with spinning the spear Dee had tried to stab Metal with, gave him a slight speed boost to help him gain some distance between the two. To Metal, it would look like Dee was running away, and this was what Dee was hoping for, and he was also hoping Metal would take chase.

 

[Captain Pokémon]

Metal saw Dee retreating and looked mad. Coward. He pointed to the sky again and a large energy ball formed on his finger tip. Fortunately, Dee wasn't here to screw it up this time and it succeeded, being thrown at Dee with decent speed and incredible power.
Metal then activated the thruster on his back, making him even faster. He shot forward towards Dee, then reached out with his claws, hoping to scratch him violently. However, he was used to going against tricky opponents, and had a backup plan just in case.

Sonic chuckled while scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Well, I was." He said, then shrugged. "But I went up against a strong opponent. It was a good fight and all, but his equipment really saved him. I would've won if he didn't have a grappling hook." He said, then shook his head while laughing. "It doesn't matter though, I've had my fair share of wishes, as you probably already know." He said while grinning.

Gunvolt's attack was kind of successful, taking out half of the Kirbys. They quickly got back up to eight though, so he had to keep attacking. Luckily for him, having Luxcalibur in his hands meant he wasn't limited to martial arts anymore. Four Kirbys swung their scepters in unison at him, Gunvolt quickly reacting by placing Luxcalibur above him to parry their attack, before switching its orientation in the blink of an eye and quickly swinging the sword at them to take them out. He then jumped and used an Air Dash diagonally upwards at the four Kirbys that weren't attacking, using his momentum to swing the weapon faster than normal, planning to cut through all of them in a flash.

The kirbys were taken out by the Luxcaliber, but the four above ones remained ready. The real kirby summoned his warp star, grabbing onto the clones on his side, who grabbed the other clone, moving out of the way of the slash. Kirby spun, launching two clones towards the sword, while they grabbed onto. Kirby then began inhaling, his votex engulfing Gunvolt and his sword, pulling. The one clone left stood next to him, standing at the ready. The two other clones crawled along the sword, swinging their scepters at Gunvolt.

Marshadow looked up in surprise as NIGHTS had an actual hole in their stomach! And grabbed his fist once he was stuck, lifting him up and power slamming him into the floor.
Another mistake.
Once again, he sank(splat) into the ground, before snapping back up like a rubber band, raising his fist in an uppercut.

*DRILLLL!!*

The Jester had already spun into a drill drive, aiming to bring Marshadow to a swift defeat, but they had splattered, reforming under them to deliver an uppercut...when they were impacted by the same drill that was intended for them, the punch’s own damage would be mitigated on the drilling NiGHTS as it bore down.

Gunvolt was surprised to see that the real Kirby had a star he could ride on, launching two clones at him to hold onto Luxcalibur and try to attack. He deployed his Flashfield for the first time in a while, stalling by hovering and sending out an electric shock through his weapon to take out the Kirbys. The real Kirby began inhaling to try and eat both him and Luxcalibur, while another clone stood at the ready. Wanting to take the last clone out, he sent out an electric blast that would seem to be headed towards the ground, but then curve around and behind the Warp Star to shock that clone and shatter it.

Now with the real one sucking him in, there was no time to lose. Then he remembered; every time Kirby inhaled something, it would give him its respective ability! The darts and the spikes, the glass and the mirrors... That's it! With a plan in mind, he let himself be pulled towards Kirby. He was getting very close, and things seemed like they wouldn't go well... When a Dragonsphere was summoned in front of him, right in Kirby's face for him to inhale thanks to the vortex's strength. With its size compared to Kirby, he'd have to swallow it, which would keep him busy! With Luxcalibur already being pulled towards him, Gunvolt was going to drive it straight through Kirby!

 

[The Alright Attorney]

Joker
Thankfully, after his long drawn out battle with Sonic, Joker was feeling fully refreshed, as if the previous match didn't happen at all. "Guess they just want us to get right into these next fights." The phantom thief muttered out, as he adjusted his coat and gloves. His eyes traveled up towards the bracket. "John Shepard. Sounds like your average kind of guy. Very American." He said, and before he could start to look for his opponent, the larger, armoured man was already in front of Joker and introducing himself. He seemed rather pleasant and polite, so Joker cheerfully shook his opponent's hand. "You can just call me Joker. Looking forward to our match as well." Gesturing towards the arena, Joker glanced at his Shepard. "Shall we?"

Dimitri
The young prince was relaxing in the stands after his match with Yu. Fighting against another weapon user was familiar, so that was good for him. But he didn't expect all the fights to go like that. He glanced up, and saw the next bracket was beginning, and luckily, his next fighter was approaching him already. He was an older man, and his outfit differed greatly from the medieval prince. Cage let out an onslaught, not really giving Dimitri a chance to get a word in, before he suddenly started waving and smiling around. "Oh hello Mr. Cage, uhh, cameras? I-I'm not sure what you mean. Anyways, My name is Dimitri Alexandere Blaiddyd, prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. I look forward to learning from our battle." After releasing the handshake, Dimitri did a quick bow.

~Commander John Shepard...~

"Alright, I'll meet you over there, Shepard said glancing over towards the arena. He began making his way towards the arena. Some of the fights had already went on. Some of them even appeared to be almost over. These must be some quick fighters. Shepard knew he wouldn't be that fast ,but perhaps he'd be fast enough to keep up. Although who knows what will happen during the fight. Guess Shepard would know that as the fight begins. Shepard took a fighting stance and grabbed his assault rifle.

~Johnny Cage...~

"He seems like a decent actor. He sure does stick to his role... So he's imitating a prince huh? Though he's kinda overselling the knightly part, what's next? chivalry? Guess I can't knack the kid for trying. His acting skills are alright" Johnny thought to himself, "Likewise! pleased to meet you!" Johnny said. Johnny headed to the arena ,and as he went over there he put his brass knuckles on, ready to start the fight. He took up a defensive stance. "Ready when you are!" Johnny said.

~Sly Cooper...~

Sly looked around, "What an unusual technique... That's kinda cool, I guess" Sly said.

Gunvolt made quick work of his two clones, yet appeared to be taken easily by his inhale. His clone looked down as a bolt slid across the floor, making a clone appear on the top of his head as he did so, who reflected it off using Reflect Force to rebound it. Suddenly a dragonsphere appeared in front of his face, and Kirby had it in his mouth. The Luxcaliber, his original target, was right in front of his face. However, his clones reacted quickly, turning and slamming their bodies on each side of the the sword's flats, preventing it from landing, while the original jumped and shot back the Dragonsphere at Gunvolt.


Marshadow's puch lasted...about a second before NiGHTS broke through it. He would've cursed in poke-speech, but everything went black. Marshadow awoke suddenly, finding himself in the forest he had been before. He snapped his fingers and let out that curse.

Gunvolt cursed under his breath as two Kirbys launched themselves at Luxcalibur's sides, barely stopping it from reaching its target, who had launched the Dragonsphere back at him. He disabled his Flashfield to fall faster and dodge the attack, then using his Air Jump to gain height and hold onto the Warp Star. He then summoned several weaker Crashbolts to surround the Warp Star, before quickly getting up onto it just as Kirby had gotten back down. They were at very close range, which meant his attacks were much more likely to hit now. The Crashbolts would last for a little while, so it was a one on one duel now. He quickly swung Luxcalibur sideways and then upwards, wanting to hit Kirby in case he went high to dodge.

Kirby did not intend to stay. The Luxcaliber was there, and it was huge. And then there were the crashbolts around.
There was no way out...but out.
Kirby landed on the warp star, rolling backwards and launching off it. He used his Mirror body skill diagonally, sending himself further in a flash and using his clone to pop the fragile warp star. The clone would hopefully hit Gunvolt, who'd possibly be surprised by the sudden lack of ground. If not, it would probably take a Luxcaliber to the face. Meanwhile Kirby landed on the floor, looking up at Gunvolt studiously.

Watching Kirby dodge by dropping down, Gunvolt expected some sort of attack, so he redeployed his Flashfield and jumped, as Kirby was only able to attack from below. He was right, as the Warp Star was popped by a clone from below, which he took care of with an electric blast. Luckily for him, the Crasbolts were still there to block his escape, so that meant Kirby had nowhere to dodge! He disabled his Flashfield to quickly fall down at max speed, pointing Luxcalibur downwards to strike Kirby down. Once he was about to reach him, he summoned a Dragonsphere on top of himself, planning to cut off every single escape route.

Kirby grinned. His mirror ability disappeared, now a star shaped energy object in his mouth. His warp star appeared under his feet, and Kirby shot a it at Gunvolt's head. The warp star swerved, leaving kirby in midair, shrunk, and popped into his mouth. Another flash, and Kirby held his ever-famous star rod in his nubs. He jumped backwards, spinning, causing a circle of stars to surround him, protecting him from the Crashbolt. Upon landing, he sent a star shot at the floor Gunvolt was rapidly closing in on.

Gunvolt watched Kirby switch abilities and shoot a star at him, so he repositioned Luxcalibur to block it with its flat side. It did nearly knock him into a Crashbolt, but a quick Air Dash got him out of trouble. Kirby managed to get through the Crashbolts unharmed, before shooting a star at the floor below Gunvolt that left an explosion for a few seconds. He stalled in the air with Flashfield again to outlast it, touching the ground when it was safe. One by one, the Crashbolts disappeared, leaving no obstacles between the two.

Gunvolt ran at Kirby at high speeds, sending out a small, barely noticeable electric current along the floor. Once it had made it a bit past Kirby, it suddenly switched directions and sparked up, becoming a larger electrical current. Meanwhile, Gunvolt swung Luxcalibur sideways and then upwards, pressuring Kirby into backing up and into the current he hopefully wouldn't have noticed yet.

After NiGHTS had rammed Marshadow into the ground, the plume of black ectoplasm gushed out, signifying that Marshadow had been defeated and knocked out. This was further signified by the opening of the gateway inside the stage boundaries.

“Aw, I wanted to tell ‘em they put up a good fight. Ah well, something tells me then understood that.”

NiGHTS was proud that they had moved on even further in the tourney, qualifying for the quarter finals. The cream of the crop was starting to be the ones remaining. The last fights wouldn’t be easy.

Leaving the arena, NiGHTS flew out into the Plaza. The entire area was near empty, outside a handful of people. It was a stark contrast to the bustling Plaza they knew from before. It really was getting down to the nitty gritty.

 

[The Alright Attorney]

Joker
Walking up to the stage selection console, Joker decided to do some searching, smirking to himself as he found what appeared to be Mementos. "Alright, home field advantage." He muttered to himself, before selecting it. He turned around, standing opposite to Sheppard with his blade drawn in one hand, and his pistol in the other, ready to fight. "Let's get this started." Joker said, just as the arena around them began to morph and shift, and within a few short seconds, it appeared as though the two were underground, in a endless looping maze of subway rails. Joker stood firm, eyeing his opponent and waiting to see what he would do.

Dimitri
As he made his way to the arena, Dimitri eyed up Mr. Cage. The weapons on his hands looked flashy, but undeniably powerful. It appeared as though he was a brawler. With this is mind, Dimitri thought back to sparring sessions with Caspar, and Rapheal back at the academy, hopefully that will help. "Alright. Let us begin." Dimitri gripped his spear thight, and dashed towards his opponent, wanting to see how the actor would react.

~Commander John Shepard...~

Shepard decided he'd go ahead and start the fight off by firing several assualt rifle rounds ,and throwing a thermal grenade. Shepard remembered his fight with Tabby ,and thought about how he needed to be careful. Joker seemed like an opponent that would be agile, just like Tabby.

~Johnny Cage...~

Johnny ran forward ,and blocked the side of the spear to move it out of the way. With the gap now closed, Johnny used a knee smash ,and followed it up with an elbow thrust. Dimitri used a spear. This was a nice change of pace compared to shuriken ,but Johnny had a feeling this fight was going to be equally difficult. Johnny was still sort of surprised that he managed to him his last fight.

Halting quickly, Sturm turned his fighter jets up and leapt backwards off of them as they were launched back and exploded against a wall from the first punch. However, this wasn't about to stop Sturm. He summoned two more jets beneath himself. Bracing for impact by holding his arms up and slightly going into a crouching stance, Sturm was pushed back by the shockwaves, not taking as much damage from them by bracing himself for the impact.

Sturm summoned four transport helicopters infront of him to dampen the incoming punch of the Interceptor, with the Transport Copters taking most the damage and being destroyed in the process, leaving Sturm relatively unharmed from the punch as he held his guard up and was knocked back a bit, with his jets keeping up. However, Sturm wasn't just going to let this slide.

Summoning four Battle Helicopters behind the Interceptor and Six Bombers in a circular pattern above Eggman, his troops got to work; The Battle Helicopters fired their missiles at the joints of the Interceptor's arm to try and blast its arms off, meanwhile the Bombers carpet-bombed Eggman's general area, mainly aiming at the joints of his mobile's Big Arms and the console inside the Eggmobile that Eggman had been using this entire time. @Captain Pokémon

 

[Nukas]

Bandana Dee
Bandana Dee had been looking behind him waiting for Metal to follow when he saw another one of those energy balls heading straight towards him. He directed the propeller up and forward when he saw this. Luckily the energy ball wasn't too fast as he was able to dodge out of the way. Then Metal came charging at him as well. When he saw this, he stopped twirling his spear and held it in his right hand with the spear end behind him. He also summoned his other weapon, the parasol, in his left. The plan was that the parasol would open and slow Dee's momentum immensely while Metal would be accelerating ahead making him and the spear collide. Maybe Dee would get scratched up in the process, but all he needed was one good shot to mess up Metal's internal wiring.

Bowie
"You lost? Wow, this guy must've been good if he was able to beat you, but you don't seem too upset so they couldn't have been that bad. Anyway, I'm honestly kind of glad that you got out, not because I wanted you to lose or anything, but because I wouldn't want to have to choose between you and Masaru." Bowie smiled after he said this. Blob was still confused about the blue hedgehog but he saw that Bowie was happy to be with him. Because of this, he hopped over and tried to nuzzle Sonic.

 

[Captain Pokémon]

Eggman frowned to himself as his opponents miraculously survived all of this. He quickly came up with a plan however. He quickly pressed a button on his console as the bombs starting dropping and a blue sphere made up of many hexagonal shapes covered the entirety of his Eggmobile and the Big Arms. The damage was all shielded, Eggman and his Eggmobile taking no damage in the process. The sphere broke apart and wouldn’t be able to be used again for a while, but that was okay as long as he played his cards right.
Meanwhile the Interceptor quickly held its arms up and blocked the blasts, still taking damage but not as much as it would have if it didn’t block. Meanwhile, while his opponents were distracted by the Interceptor, Eggman called in 2 Egg Lancers who hovered next to him. They each began firing their lasers at Sturm and the fighter jets at his feet, one shooting at Sturm and one shooting at the jets. Every few seconds, they would move around and swap their target to be less predictable. At the same time, an Egg Cannon appeared behind Sturm and attempted to fly into him with its drill feet out in front of it, attempting to drill straight through him. If the attack failed, it would quickly rear upwards and fly up to avoid hitting its teammates and most likely any attacks thrown at it.

Metal’s eyes widened slightly as his opponent tried to stab him with the spear. Luckily he had that backup plan. His pupils constricted and he used Black Shield. The spear was blocked, scraping against the shield but not hurting Metal in any way. Despite having activated the shield, Metal kept his momentum. He kept the shield activated and didn’t attempt to stop in any way, trying to slam into Dee with the shield.

Sonic smiled as Bowie didn’t seem upset that he lost. He had worried that he would lose the boy’s respect. Luckily, that didn’t happen. As the blob came to him, Sonic pat its head as it nuzzled against him. “Seems like you’re really rooting for Masaru here.” He said. “That’s good, for both of you. You have someone to cheer on, and Masaru has someone in his corner, which is always good.” He gave a thumbs up. “Having pals is always good! I would know.” He said while grinning.

“Ol’ Blue!!”

NiGHTS dove in from the gateway, arriving near Sonic and the two humans he talked to. Twirling with glee in the air, NiGHTS giggled as they faced the blue hedgehog.

“Guess what?? I made it to the quarter finals! I could face a Shepard or that Joker guy you fought!”

Masaru let down a bead of sweat as the jester interrupted the conversation. He leaned in to Bowie and whispered in his ear.

“...Who’s the clown?”

Sturm's Jets suddendly boosted forward, allowing him to hold on to the front part of the Interceptor by taking out a transport copter and jamming its upper blades right into the metal of the robot. With the Jets shot down, the Egg Lancers would have no choice but to shoot down the interceptor that Sturm was using as temporary cover.

Sturm summoned another transport helicopter in his hand and jammed it into the interceptor again to get a better hold. Sturm pulled himself up and was crouched sideways on the Interceptor as the Egg Cannon approached. And, as if in an action movie, Sturm pushed himself from the Interceptor, taking one of the transport copters with him and self-destructing the other, leaping onto the Egg Cannon behind him, planning to jam the blade of the transport copter he took with him into the Cannon's camera. Had Sturm timed and performed it correctly, the Egg Cannon would hopefully be too late to pull up out of the way and drill into the Interceptor as it wouldn't be able to see where it was going.

And with this, Sturm could once again attack in relative-yet-temporary safety atop the Egg Cannon. Self-destructing his battle helicopters and re-positioning his Bombers to hover above the Egg Lancer, Sturm summoned five Fighter Jets that flew toward Eggman, seemingly pursuing him attempting to chase him into a specific direction behind him. The Bombers went on to drop their bombs on the Egg Lancer's heads to destroy what keeps them running. @Captain Pokémon

The Egg Lancers quickly flew backwards with their thrusters, avoiding the bombings but still being grazed by the explosions. They saw Sturm hide behind the Interceptor. Luckily, they weren't stupid and stopped shooting. Once Sturm leaped onto the Egg Cannon, it immediately started going nuts, flying in crazy and unpredictable ways. Thanks to this, the rotor missed the camera and instead grazed the Egg Cannon's arm. The Egg Lancer shot at the fighter jets going towards Eggman, either forcing them to move or destroying them. Eggman took out the missile launchers again and fired them. They tracked Sturm, following him everywhere he went at incredibly fast speeds. At the same time, the Egg Cannon dive bombed downwards into the Mega Mack. If Sturm wanted to avoid this, he would need to jump off, but if he did that, he would jump into the missiles. And even if Sturm blocked the missiles with a helicopter or something, he would most likely still be hit by the explosions, and summoning one of those would limit his escape options severely, making him most likely go into the Mega Mack. While all of this was happening, since the Interceptor was down, Eggman summoned an Egg Cannon next to him. It shot its large laser at Sturm, covering basically his entire general area. Checkmate! Eggman thought to himself.

Sonic looked up at NiGHTS as they flew in with their iconic glee. Sonic smiled. "Nice job! You're doing great so far, just make sure not to mess anything up like I did." He said while smiling in a joking manner. He overheard Masaru and introduced his pal. "This is my friend NiGHTS. They're cool, and don't really age, so don't worry about them being an adult." He said casually.

“Hmmm don’t age huh?”

Masaru got a small smile on his face as he put a finer gun resting on his chin. The jester seemed fun, full of energy. Seemed to him that they weren’t so bad.

“Alrighty! Glad to meetcha! Name’s Masaru! And I’m gonna win this tourney!”

NiGHTS chuckled aloud, crossing their legs in the air as well as they arms. “You got some spunk visitor, especially knowing that-“

Something stopped NiGHTS from finishing their sentence. Their eyes grew wide as they stopped acting smug. A serious worried expression crossed their face as they turned to Sonic.

“Blue... What HAPPENED to him? His Ideya is so damaged...”

Joker
"Arsene!" It didn't take long for Joker to summon his Persona, and in an instant, the large red figure had emerged, smacking the grenade away from Joker, while the thief himself ran in a arcing motion away from the bullets to dodge them, one of them just narrowly hitting through the tailcoats of his jacket. "That was close. More long range than the hedgehog." He nodded to Arsene, who started to fly in the opposite direction, also at Shepard. Now Joker was approaching Shepard from his left, and Arsene the right. Remembering his fight with Sonic, Joker tried to cover every escape option Shepard could take. He swung his blade with one hand, while the other hand shoot a round of bullets above Shepard's head, and finally Arsene swiping at Shepard from the opposite side, hoping to cut off any escape route.

Dimitri
Dimitri was surprised by Cage's sudden strength and speed. Despite his laid back and slightly strange attitude, he clearly had some skills up his sleeves. His spear now pushed out of the way, Dimitri had to find a way to block with the hand not gripping the spear. The Prince got hit by the strong knee that Johnny delivered, and Dimitri, stumbled back, which gave him enough space to use his hand to block the incoming elbow. He used all his strength to push Cage back, and swipe at him and widen their distance.

Shepard saw both Joker and the Arsene come at him. He used Nova blast to create a large explosion to hit both of them. Shepard used his omniblade to deflect Joker's own sword. Shepard used shockwave, point blank at Joker. Shepard seen how fast Joker was and knew he shouldn't drop his guard around him for a second.

After being pushed back, Johnny got jumped back to get out of the way of the spear ,and blocked it with a crescent kick. He followed it up with a green shadow kick. Johnny didn't really know anything about the young boy in front of him ,but he seemed pretty competent with that spear. Johnny would need to focus if he wanted to do good in the match. "Not bad, kid!" Johnny said.

Joker
The Nova Blast attack blew Joker back, but Arsene was able to power through it, once again swiping his huge claws in arcing motion from left to right at Shepard. Seeing Shepherd deflect, and prepare another attack at this close, Joker knew he didn’t have anytime to dodge. “Tetrakarn!” He shouted out, knowing creating the counter barrier was his only way to not get hit right now. In an instant the barrier was made, protecting Joker from damage and hopefully blasting it back towards Shepard himself.

Dimitri
Cage was could up close, experienced in kombat clearly, maybe even more so than his fellow students at the officer’s academy. Dimitri had to take this more serious than simple sparring practice. Dimitri dodged the incoming kick, sticking his spear into the ground, and launching himself up and over Johnny. Once hitting the ground, he ran forward, aiming a swift striking punch at Cage’s back, while using his free hand to grip the spear out of the ground.

~Commander John Shepard...~

Shepard intended to step out of the way ,but was still hit by his shockwave. Luckily his resistance to biotics limited the damage. With Shepard's fitness he was able to react to the flaw strike, Shepard used a power omniblade strike to catch the strike. Shepard was pushed back in the process. He used biotic charge to close the gap with Joker ,and to strike an offensive attack. He followed it up with several assualt rifle rounds.

~Johnny Cage...~

As Johnny saw Dimitri fly over him, it was rather unexpected. Like a bird flying in the air Dimitri soared over him, landing on the other side. Johnny blocked the punch ,and grab it. Johnny squeezed his hand to pull him into his flamin' backhand. Johnny knew he still needed to be cautious of the spear ,and didn't want to lose focus of his opponent's weapon hand.

~Meanwhile...~

"A master thief is always... silent ,but deadly" Sly said chuckling.

The Fighter Jets swooped up and out of the way of the lasers, moving upwards. Firing off their missiles before flying upwards, the rockets of the Jets clashed against the tracking rockets Eggman was getting out and ready to fire, causing a mass of explosions from a chain reaction that blew up all around Eggman, likely damaging him a lot as he was in the very center of these explosions. The Fighters flew in a loop to turn themselves around and went to chase after the Egg Lancers, shooting at their thrusters with missiles as they were diving down so they would have no other option but to dive into the Mega Mack.

With the Rockets cleared out before they could even gain some distance, Sturm snapped his fingers, destroying all of his units but his jets that were chasing the Lancers. Sturm leapt off of the Egg Cannon just before it dove into the Mega Mack and summoned two Fighter Jets beneath himself that prevented him from falling into the Mega Mack himself, and flew up, lifting him into the air again.

Sturm then gave chase to Eggman again as his five Jets remained pursuing the Lancers if they had tried to avoid the missiles. Summoning five more Fighter Jets to himself, Sturm flew after Eggman with his troops ready to defend their leader. @Captain Pokémon

Egggman saw the fighter jets activate their missiles and quickly pressed the button again, the bubble shield activating. He still took damage however, as he was in the center of the explosions, but not as much as he would have without the bubble. He deactivated the bubble. The bubble shield cracked and broke. Inconvenient, but he could work with it. Eggman’s Egg Lancers simply flew to the side then upwards to avoid the fighter jets, causing them to simply continue flying down. The two Egg Lancers then flew in front of Eggman and formed a wall in front of him, protecting him. Then, a silent Egg Robo appeared behind Sturm at what was basically point blank range, then fired a powerful laser from its gun at Sturm. Meanwhile, the Interceptor flew in front of Sturm and attempted to punch him with a powerful fist. At the same time, it activated its shoulder lasers, covering Sturm’s left and right, while the Egg Robo was behind him. They effectively covered all sides. Eggman then readied himself for his opponent’s next move. If Sturm survived this attack that is.

Sonic stopped patting Blob’s head and looked at NiGHTS. He spent enough time with his friend to know what they were referring to. “From what I’ve overheard, he’s been through a lot.” He told his pal. “I think he’s been through abuse and trauma or something. It’s probably why he hates adults so much.” He told NiGHTS.

Sturm's Jets were done chasing after the Egg Lancers and were on their way to join up with Sturm, when the alien leader saw the Interceptor approaching. Sturm had put his arms up and positioned his jets as far back as he could to reduce how much of the incoming punch was gonna hit him. Sturm braced for impact and skid back from the Interceptor's punch, his jets keeping up with him. He slid right into the Egg Robo's Laser, and of course the Egg Robo itself.

The Pack of 12 Fighter Jets turned and flew back to Sturm, shooting at the Egg Robo's thrusters that kept it in the air, and the arm holding the laser pistol. Sturm grabbed hold of the laser pistol the Robo was holding and slid onto the two jets that had supported him before the punch. Sturm had tried to yank the pistol right out of the Egg Robo's hand as its arm and thrusters were being assaulted with missiles from the Jets. @Captain Pokémon

When Gunvolt began cloning in, Kirby jumped, summoning his warp star underneath him, which flew him over Gunvolt, staying high enough to avoid the sword he held. Suddenly, Kirby saw a current of electricity surge from his old position. He needed to take note of that. Regardless, he shot a star blast towards the current, causing them to explode, and proceeded to continuously shoot a barrage of stars towards Gunvolt.
