Zed
The small machine was now focusing entirely on the ever-oppressive Vader, likely considering the sith a bigger threat. A clear mistake.

Not moving from his spot as to conserve energy, Zed held an outstretched palm in front of himself, spawning four golden orbs that turned into fiery birds. They flew out at Dusty one by one, leaving a golden trail behind them as they aimed to smash into the Roomba and set it ablaze, following McClean closely should he try to move out of the way.

Hornet
The spider had been following the multiple conflicts between the nearby contestants. She’d witnessed the fight between the mech pilot and the humanoid machine from beginning to end, catching a glimpse of the man in black armor and the firebender’s abilities in action. Powerful adversaries, and ones she doubted she could take on alone.

“Found you.”

Hornet leapt from the tree as she heard the blast approach, landing on the side of another tree before sliding down. She’d been forced out of hiding by another contestant; a tall, flying creature wielding ranged weapons she had never seen before. She’d seen Sateramon up against the massive beast earlier. Fast and efficient at long range.

Hornet had little time to breathe as another blast came in from her side, curving unnaturally as it flew. She threw her needle at a branch above her, pulling herself to it via a string to launch herself into the air, avoiding the attack. As quickly as she’d risen, the spider threw a series of pins at the Digimon, trying to force him to move or intercept the projectiles.

If he wanted a fight, she would oblige.

Fast at fleeing. Poor at fighting. Sateramon shook his head once, firing two blasts above him. It looked like he didn't even need to point his guns at anything in particular for them to be accurate.

"You'll find me...far. Out. Of. Reach."

The blasts from above took a sharp 90° turn, flying straight down. However, this time with a twist. Right before it one would hit hornet's needles, it split into five tracking blasts, separating the power of the laser in five pieces for extra time tracking. Sateramon didn't see a point in dodging, if he could simply remove the possibility of him getting hit.

As the five tracking it blasts took out the needles, the final, full blast rained down to bathe the insect warrior in energy.

Hornet
Sateramon’s shots had great tracking, bending in strange ways to reach their target. One blast had intercepted the pins, while another one headed straight for Hornet, forcing her to dive out of the way, switching directions abruptly and allowing the blast to hit a tree.

She was at a disadvantage. Sateramon no doubt excelled at the current range, and she had no reliable way of fighting back at this range. She needed to get to a higher point.

She could see some sort of abandoned residence in the distance, overgrown by vegetation, about fifteen feet tall. If she managed to get there, she could make the fight even. Designating that as her goal, Hornet took off with a sprint, possessing impressive speed, being wary of any potential attacks from Sateramon.

And they run. Again. Disappointing.

Suppose with every predator there's a thousand preys. Did they realize he didn't need to move to strike them as they are? His range was supreme. Aiming both of his guns straight on, he fired his thick beams of light.

The beams didn't deviate, that is, until they splintered into 20 individual charges. Ten per laser. They peppered the area in front and atop Hornet's current position, aiming to cause splash damage and disorient them with the carpet bomb of projectiles.

Eitri instantly stopped as the first lasers flew by, ducking for cover behind a downed tree. She pulled Belowski with her, grabbing onto the duelist's jacket.
"Be silent!" Eitri hissed to the teen. Cautiously, she peeked out around the tree to see where the blasts had come from. It seems they had stumbled into the battleground of another two competitors. The first one, the one who had fired the energy beams, was a humanoid creature of some sort. They had two large weapons, ones that were similar to her own Grim Brokkr. He seemed to glow as well with a strange energy. Was he too an artificial humanoid? The target of his lasers was a far more unusual creature, a strange horned being with a red cloak.

This was not good. The first competitor, the artificial humanoid with the energy weapons, seemed incredibly powerful. Would they be able to sneak past him as he fought? Would it be better to take him out now, while he was distracted? Eitri glanced to Belowski. He was for peace. The last thing she needed was to be fighting him and this other competitor at the same time, and a possibility of the horned one. Still, she readied Grim Brokkr as she watched the horned creature make a break for a small, ramshackle shelter in the forest.

The star of the show
Kirby tilted his head as Psyduck harrumphed. He didn't know what made psyduck so mad, but clearly it had something to do with Leon. Kirby looked back to see Leon standing over Omega, seeming to have the advantage.
Kirby looked back to Psyduck, before givning a "poyo!" for luck, before turning back to his human friend. Now that Omega was put down, he may as well see if he can be convinced to be a friend. After all, if he got enough friends, surely psyduck would turn around. It was foolproof!

Burrowing Bugs
"What a coincidence, so am I-" but Bugs hardly spoke a full sentence before Eitri left, followed by Belowski. Bugs looked somewhere, and pointed with his thumb.
"Rabbit haters, am I right?" he said to no one, before diving back into his hole. Bugs proceeded to follow along the mage and duelist, swimming through the earth like an Olympic Athlete through water, and even breaching-complete with dolphin chirps-just for kicks.
...Until Eitri called for a sudden halt, pausing the rabbit in midair for a second, before he slammed onto the floor.
"Oof! What's the big idea?"
A laser flew between his ears.
"Oh."
Bugs took cover behind his own tree, glancing past it to see some weird looking docs fighting.
"Huh, they got all kinds of crazy characters around here. S'not our business though, we should just go past'em."
Bugs flinched as a blast just grazed his tree.
"Somehow."

Hornet
Sateramon was, of course, not just going to allow her to run away. Twenty lasers rained down from above, the blasts covering the nearby area completely, forcing Hornet to dive to the side, white silk bursting from her body as the section of the forest Hornet had been sprinting through was covered in smoke and dirt.

From the smoke flew a white cocoon, rolling along the ground roughly, being ripped apart due to the force. Hornet had used it as protection, scrambling to her feet moments after, glancing up at the still airborne Sateramon. He seemed perfectly comfortable staying at that distance, which still left the spider at a disadvantage, but she'd closed the distance to the structure she was headed for. She just needed to keep it up.

And not get blasted apart, of course.

Resuming her escape, Hornet launched a silk thread towards the remains of a tree, pulling herself towards it to quickly reach full speed, leaping off the trunk and towards another one, leaping from tree to tree, using the foliage as cover. She could not afford to stay in the open longer than she needed to.

Defensive as always. But some greenery would not shelter her.

He blasted two more shots from his guns, then two more after that. There were four beams in total soaring through the air. After they made the distance, they took sharp turns before-

BLAAAAAAST!

Two beams struck ahead and behind Hornet, honing in on her as to limit the ways she could flee. Right as she would he boxed in, the remaining two came from different directions, full lasers swooping in for the kill in the divide that Sateramon just made!

"Huh...that little dude looks like it's headin toward that city, man." Belowski whispered. "Ain't that like...where we were headed too?"

Happy lover gave a worried expression to him. It seemed like the fight was bleeding over toward their destination. Hardly convenient.

But the tricks did not stop coming. Two lasers closed in from in front and behind her, with another two coming in from the sides, effectively forcing her to go above or below the attack in a split second. She managed to enter a dive, increasing her speed as she fell, though the blast still caught her, the back portion of her dress burning up as the spider was flung forwards---and closer to her goal, performing a roll to break her fall, unrelenting despite the fact that her sprint had slowed down slightly. She had taken some damage, that much was for certain, even if it barely showed physically.

The Youthful Sage

Eitri peeked out from behind the tree, watching the strange humanoid continue to try to flee from the metal man. The laser blasts were certainly powerful ones, maybe even a rival to her own Grim Broker. How was it possible for a weapon to have such power, without magic or Seiðjárn?

No, she couldn't bother pondering that now. Eitri glanced back towards Belowski and Bugs. The rabbit creature had burrowed to keep up with them, perhaps he could burrow them under the battle? Their options were, as she saw them:
  • Go around the fight. The first option that comes to mind. The area around them was still relatively wooded, and would give them cover. Not to mention, the two fighters were distracted killing each other.
  • Fly over the fight. Not a good option, since the metal man was also flying. Without the cover of the trees, it would me much more likely he would spot them.
  • Join in the fight. An option Belowski would likely not approve of. But intervening now may allow them to defeat a powerful enemy while he was distracted. Not to mention, the battle was heading towards the city.

Eitri's hair tightened it's grip on Grim Brokkr... Then she turned to Bugs.
"Bugs. Can you tunnel deep enough that it does not create that mound?" Eitri asked the rabbit quietly.

BLAST!

He shot two lasers, the projectiles taking sharp turns every few seconds in a DNA formation. They would race to the left and right of the arachnid, diving in, out, in, and out repeatedly, a constant game of duck and weave.

Hornet
Her foe was just as relentless as she was, two lasers heading in Hornet's direction. She leapt over once they closed in on her, though their immediate reapproach was not quite what she'd expected, forcing the spider to release a burst of thread from her body, momentarily deflecting the beams.

They were sent back a small distance, giving Hornet less than a second to breathe as her goal was now within view, a house built mostly out of stone that had been reclaimed by nature, abandoned by whoever once resided there. Sateramon's lasers converged on her position once more, Hornet swinging her needle to take one of the beams on as the other struck her side, propelling her into a hole in the rocky wall of the shelter.

Stabbing her weapon into the ground to prevent her from slamming into anything on the inside, Hornet took a look around the structure. It was fairly basic, not too different from the kinds of homes she'd seen back home, with tables and chairs built out of a mixture of wood and rock. The way to the second floor was a series of stone steps leading upward, the spider sprinting up with little delay. She was not in the clear yet, but this added elevation would even the playing field.

Once she made it to the next floor, Hornet leapt onto a hole in the wall (likely meant to be a window, though she could see no glass), proceeding to climb the outside of the shelter with grace and agility, making it up to the roof in a couple seconds. Once there, she could see Sateramon much better, the distance having been closed by a good fifteen feet or so, Much better.

"A coward would never face a foe head on. Prove you are not one."

His optics zoomed in on Hornet, who had made it to the roof of the building. His audio receptors cleared up the audio as she spoke. He paused for a second, processing her demands.

"That's big talk, coming from a small one that knows nothing but to run." Sateramon responded, his deep voice somehow carrying despite the distance. "You just hope to get me close so you have a chance of survival. Tsk Tsk Tsk...I am not so easily swayed."

His eyes narrowed in on Hornet zoning in like a scope. The barrel of his gun narrowed by itself, and as he pulled the trigger-

PING!

It fired a thin projectile, much faster than his lasers. It was small but faster than a bullet. It's goal was to puncture Hornet before she had a chance to dodge, effectively sniping her off the building.

VADER

The small droid made the attempt of getting close. It was here that Zed decided to aid in abetting against this nuisance. Searching and feeling his way through the force, Vader sensed his way into the droid's internal systems, before he located what was most likely a power source. It was not power couplings, nor any sort of motivator he was accustomed for droids, but then again, he had not been expecting familiarity here for some time.

"You attacked because we were wounded," Vader stated, gripping onto Dusty's power source with the force like a force choke for droids, quickly attempting to lift it from the ground, simultaneously forcing the droid to have no evasion against Zed's moves. "You sought an advantage you could not find otherwise. You will not find it here." He spoke as Zed's attack would have landed while the constriction of the force would have begun to crush Dusty's power source.

LEON

The fight halted for a moment to the agent's surprise. One of Masaru's hits had apparently taken on some supernatural affect of bypassing armor defenses and dealing internal damage. This had given the robot pause to question the man on such an occasion, so Leon neared, ever-cautious as per his nature.

"You seem kinda messed up now, maybe you wanna stop and talk now? I'm sure we can find someone to repair ya," Masaru was saying.

"Not me," Leon replied. "Ehm- not that I wouldn't if I could," he added, realizing that sounded prick-ish. "My repairs are more people-based. You know, squishy non-robot things."

But Hornet was already prepared. Before the projectile had been fired, the arachnid held her needle in front of her, anticipating Sateramon's attack, the thin beam striking her surprisingly durable weapon. With a quick counter slash, Hornet deflected the attack back at her foe, though the projectile left a black mark in the center of her needle.

She was quick to follow up by throwing three Tri-Pins, the sharp projectiles flying up at Sateramon in a spread, nine in total. Amongst the pins was also a Pimpillo, a small, seemingly harmless red object that would explode on contact with anything. The goal was simple: for the Pimpillo to explode and blast Sateramon out of the sky.

Eirti looked down the hole Bugs had created, a cocky grin on her face. This rabbit was certainly full of surprises. Being able to not only dig and tunnel with incredible speed, but for those tunnels also to maintain structural integrity. His abilities almost defied logic. While she spoke to the rabbit, the red eye on Grim Brokker kept watch in the direction of Hornet and Sateramon's battle.
"Incredible." Eitri said. "We'll just go under the battle. Begin tunneling towards the city."

!!!

His sniper shot had been reflected straight at him, the projectile firing straight through his right gun and out the other side, landing straight into the trees below it, which it also carved through. The weapon sparked and glitched, data spilling out of it. Sateramon stared at it for a seconds, dematerializing the gun and looking straight at Hornet.

"Alright then."

Sateramon raised his lone gun in the air, having it fire several times. That's when the energy would splinter off in the air, raining down like a meteor shower. Some of the splintered lasers sharply turned to impact Hornet's projectiles, canceling them out as the rest flew like doomsday. They peppered the building, chunks of concrete blowing out, the foundation shaking and breaking as dozens of small lasers rained down on Hornet at the building.

"Far out."

He was just flowing with the motion of the ocean on this one. As he plopped down from the mage's telekinesis, he slid down inside of the tunnel, which was surprisingly spacious inside. It even had lamps and couches comically made of dirt inside. Yup. He was definitely a toon monster.

Hornet
It seemed Sateramon had not expected Hornet to parry his attack, resulting in one of the Digimon's weapons being destroyed. Things were looking better for the arachnid now, though her foe was far from done, firing a shower of lasers down at Hornet and the building, destroying her projectiles (including the Pimpillo) in the process.

Hornet ran towards the edge of the building as the blasts struck, leaping straight up, taking out a small sharp object as she rose. A Sting Shard, the Tool suspending itself in midair once Hornet dropped it right below her, allowing her to bounce off of it with her needle, gaining extra height, now just a few feet below Sateramon. She would then launch a series of threads up at her foe, aiming to get at least one to strike his body, after which she would pull herself upwards, closing the distance in a flash to deliver several precise blows with her needle.

Closer you get, the closer you arrive to death.

His barrel broadened slightly as Hornet so as hornet leaped up to fire her net of threads at him-

BLAAAAAAAAAST

His laser bathed the entire path where Hornet came from, the web burning up under a second. Sure the laser was scaled down slightly for a bit more firing arc, but it wouldn't take much to devastate such a small target. Now she was airborne, she couldn't so easily dodge out of the way.

The mech took a moment to consider the words, the expressionless optical sensors displaying no answer yet.

Dusty let out a surprised beep as he was grabbed by Vader...and set ablaze by Zed. With Vader talking, there was little Dusty could do, the puddles of water having finished falling to the ground - Though the brief water having lessened the flames - and the hack stopped by the near-crushing and what sounded like Vader saying he sucked. And that fire stung a lot...

"Beep..." (No...)

He decided he couldn't give up. Not until he could ensure his family's safety. All of Dusty's usable abilities, however, would leave him open no matter what, he realised. One way or another, Force or Fire...except for one. Suddenly, a large wire shot out from Dusty once more, one end headed right for Vader and the other end for Zed in the sky, aiming to latch onto the duo of evildoers! As soon as they did, a huge jolt of electricity poured through them, aiming to zap Dusty's enemies!

Masaru Takahara

The world's strongest man looked somewhat surprised by Omega's question, given the robot's current state.

"Well...It just isn't the right thing to do, killing people, you get me?" He soon decided. "I once met this.." He gritted his teeth. "Bastard who saw strength as killing anyone weaker than you so others couldn't learn from them, so you can probably get why I don't want to. I don't care if I'm supposed to kill people in order to leave, or whatever, if that's the case I'd gladly live out my whole life here. It's not a bad place to die, at least." He explained his view, which was surprisingly methodical from the guy who couldn't identify a battery without the help of some weird teenager with a terrible (but kind of awesome) hair style.

He went over to Omega, and offered a hand. "Now, let's get you some help?"

The Youthful Sage

From outside the hole, Eitri looked back to watch the battle between the flying metal man and the strange black humanoid. It was not as one-sided of a battle as she had thought. To her surprise, Eitri watched as the black masked humanoid was able to deflect the metal man's laser attack, destroying one of his guns. So, the metal man wasn't as all-powerful as he appeared. With one gun still remaining, his retaliation attack was still quite powerful.

Eitri drew the Prototype Breidablik from her cloak. It was a black and gold handgun-like object, with many large gears affixed to it. She aimed it at Sateramon... Before pointing it at the ground just beyond the cover she was behind. A cocky grin spread across Eitri's face. A small parting gift...

A flash of light appeared below Sateramon and Hornet. Where there was once no one, a figure now stood. They wore a tan cloak. Although their face was hooded, one could see their skin was pale and sickly, and their eyes were sunken and glassy. They clutched a bow, and had a quiver of arrows slung across their back. The Summoned One let out a pained, animalistic cry. Drawing arrows from the quiver, it fired a rapid flurry of arrows using its Brave Bow at Sateramon and Hornet.

As much as Eitri had wanted to stick around and observe what happened next, she had already jumped back down into the hole. Using her magic, she caused plants to grow and hide the entrance of the hole. It was a technique she had done many times before, although in the past it had been to disguise pit traps rather than hide tunnel entrances. The Youthful Sage of Niðavellir gently floated to the bottom of the tunnel. Bugs Bunny was already making quick time with the digging.
"I wonder. Where does the dirt he excavates disappear to?" Eitri said to Belowski.

NIKOLAI

The king of the koopas bounded forward, launching himself legs-first toward the Russian, a classic dropkick maneuver, and he was coming in from the side. It only took a moment for Nikolai to process this as he rolled to the side---directly where Bowser's front was facing. As the turtle thrust out his legs to slam where Nikolai had been, the Spirit of the Messiah was already in the process of throwing his fist into the center of the crater he'd left in Bowser's forward shell from before.

He then quickly followed with a burst forward of his own, shoulder-ramming for the koopa before swinging his torso about to slug his other elbow forward, followed by a palm-strike for Bowser's snout, his precision strikes making it clear his drunkenness had been a ruse to fool Bowser---a ruse that had worked.

VADER

The droid made one last feeble attempt at attacking. The dark lord could recall that he used to like droids, usually more than people. They had a function and they worked it, so in truth, he really couldn't blame the robot. It was operating as it was designed to function. As far as he knew, it had no free will. Not true free will, droids could of course be programmed with a personality, one that could even conflict with and override static programming, he had designed a protocol droid as such in his youth.

Anakin would have liked this droid, if for nothing else than its small size.

A flash of crimson light was met as the robot fired out a cord, and the lightsaber tore through it as Vader moved simultaneously, cutting down the length of the cord and right toward the droid, aiming to slash it clean in one fell swoop and end this meaningless exchange.

The other end of Dusty's cord was met with a flash of golden light, Zed placing a hand in front of him, manifesting a fiery orb that burnt the wire to ash just before it could strike the Adept. Shortly afterwards, the orb would shift into the form of a bird much like before, flying through the air and towards McClean to finish the Roomba off should Vader’s own attack fail to end things.

Hornet
Despite Hornet's impressive speed, Sateramon was able to intercept the arachnid midair, proving that even whilst in the middle of another attack, her foe could comfortably fight back. Even at a closer distance, she was outmached, it seemed.

"Gah!!"

The blast struck Hornet directly, searing heat and energy engulfing her body, shell and clothing alike being torn apart in an instant. Once the laser faded, there was no trace of the arachnid.

The daughter of Hallownest was no more.

Dusty McClean

As the wiring fell, Dusty felt heat closing. Vader's strange blade, which looked like something out of those space movies his family always watched (Which had, for the longest time, given Dusty the impression that both kids had wished to become astronauts), went to slice into him - Something Dusty was sure would be completely fatal to him no matter his state - And Zed's imflamed bird moving to blast into him. For most, this would be it, especially with that grip Vader had on his cells.

Thankfully, Dusty felt a small beep, indicating he could use a seemingly weaker ability again - And he had just the idea as to just what would work.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, he used Switcheroo, switching places with Zed! This would mean that, now, Zed would have not only his own attack headed for him, but Vader's momentum rushed lightsaber!
But if that were to all fail to even harm Zed, Dusty once more made an attempt to hack Vader's suit, deciding to now try and make any life support systems with the armor explode in the duo's faces!

The western bounty hunter nodded as the number ticked down in the sky, signifying Hornet's defeat. That's one distraction per man toy out of commission.

"Another down."

That's when a buildup of light tripped his optical sensors. Looking down, he noticed some kinda of withered old creature drawing their weapon, firing up at him! Another player, so soon? So many have death wishes today.

"Your weapon is inferior, old geezer."

That's when his coattail wings curved inwards somewhat, glowing as a flurry of small blasts of multicolored light fired from the rectangular panels. These blasts weren't lethal grade per say, but worked exclusively to take out projectiles. In short order, the arrows were dealt with, and the coattails resumed their previous formation.

"You chose the wrong fight to initiate. Nai nda na..."

Pointing his gun down, he fired directly at the arrow's source. He wasn't going waste his time with someone who he didn't deem worthy of it.

A shift in the force. His grip on the droid seemed to manipulate in some way. It was changing location, like some form of teleportation, and what made it more interesting was that the force was redirecting his grip toward where Zed stood. Most impressive, but it would not spare the meddling droid. Much of his connection to the force being restored, Darth tapped into another of his abilities in force speed, and the world felt to slow around him.

The swap took place, as predicted, and if Zed lacked the proper speed, he'd risk taking some damage from the lightsaber as Vader moved past him, purposefully tanking through Zed's own flaming bird as it erupted against the dark lord's shoulder, but any lingering flames quickly extinguished against the armor. Darth reached Dusty's new location, and in the same second, appeared behind the droid, force speed deactivating as Vader came to a stop, having slashed through where Dusty had appeared, assuming to have cut it in half before it could do anything more.

Zed
His position had been swapped in a split second, the Golden Trillion now mere inches in front of his ally, who chased after the Roomba at speeds Zed could barely react to (no doubt made more difficult due to his weaker power in this world, not to mention his injuries).

As such, Vader’s crimson lightsaber struck the prince’s arm, leaving a gash that cauterized itself instantly, Zed being knocked aside as Darth moved behind Dusty incredibly quickly, faster than the Adept could even attempt to assist, the Sith clearly intending on finishing the droid off.

Robopal 8819

The Vacuum's reaction to Vader's speed was one of honest terror - And who could blame it? He just dashed right towards him AS HE TELEPORTED (Dusty honestly wasnt sure how he predicted it) through a blast that certainly wouldve killed Dusty, not even stopping as he injured an ally!

Honestly, that last part made Dusty disgusted for even comparing him to family. But that was in the future, for Dusty needed the now.

And the now was not looking good. But Dusty did have something going for him! And with his Hacking menu slowing things down (having activated this as the teleportation had started anyway, which was how he was able to make any resemblance of Vader's movement, and even then it was hard), just enough time to do so before the lightsaber could make meaningful, non-surface level, damage from the cut!

buzz!

A sudden force, magnetic in kind, suddenly pulled on The Golden Trillion and the Sith, pulling them right towards each other with the force to stun! With this magnetism, Dusty decided to take his chances, dashing to the side to get away from the pair. If he made it, his next step would be to once again hack, this time on Vader's arm, attempting to force Vader to jolt his lightsaber through Zed once more, and then up to cut his shoulder holding the blade off! However, Dusty's energy drained. He desperately needed a break now, he couldn't take this fight much longer...if he could just get some blood...

Bowser still didn't understand the level of Nikolai's evasiveness, as the man easily dodged the combo and strung a whole combo together against the midair Koopa. His shell wasn't damaged any further, though the hits to the weak point stunned him so that he was unable to block.
Bowser skid across the dirt on all fours, before pouncing forward once again with a furious vigor.

"Stay still so I can beat you to a pulp!"

King Koopa swung low, aiming to snag a leg and fling his opponent into the dirt. Regardless of the success, the reptile was quick to follow up with a haymaker, summoning a large steel mallet in the other hand. the aforementioned mallet wasted no time in being swung, pitched if Nikolai wasn't in melee range, but as soon as it made impact or reached the end of the swing, it disintegrated into purple magic. If Nikolai attempted to block or counter any of these attacks, the scourge of the Mushroom Kingdom would throw a full-body headbutt in there as well.

E-123 Omega
Ignoring the hand, Omega stood on his own, causing another small burst of sparks to fly from his shoulder.

"REPAIRS ARE UNDOUBTEDLY REQUIRED. HOWEVER, I WONDER WHERE YOU PLAN TO FIND ONE WHO CAN PERFORM REPAIRS FOR MY SPECIFIC MODEL. MY ROBOTICS ARE TOP-OF-THE-LINE, AND MY PARTS ARE CUSTOM-MADE. ARE YOU CERTAIN THERE IS SOMEONE OUT OF THE TWENTY REMAINING CONTESTANTS THAT ARE ABLE TO MAINTAIN A SUPERWEAPON SUCH AS MYSELF?"

A Failed Experiment

The Summoned One's eyes widened at the Digimon's flashy defense. Sateramon aimed his gun down at the Summoned One, and the creature stared back up. The incomplete summoning of the Briedablik had rendered the Summoned One more creature than the human that once was. The conflicting natures of beast and man were tearing the Summoned One apart, but in this moment they cried out in unison.

RUN!

The Summoned One sprinted forward, trying to get away from Sateramon. But he couldn't move quick enough. The laser blast bisected the Summoned One, destroying their lower half in an instant. They screamed in pain, falling to the ground as their legs disintegrated. The Summoned One writhed in pain on the ground.

Pain! Why?! Where am I?! What is happening?! HUrts! Kill! KILL!!!

A normal human would be going into shock as they bled out. But the Summoned One was no longer a mere human. It pushed itself over, grabbing its Brave Bow and aiming up at Sateramon. It's life force fading rapidly, it channeled the little energy he had left into his attack. A dark energy swirled around the arrow, and it burned with a dark flame. The powerful dark magics, specifically honed to destroy enemy defenses.

Fire Emblem Special Attack: Luna

"DIEEEE!" The Summoned One screeched. He let loose the now-magical arrow, with a second, non-magical one trailing behind it. The death throes of a dying beast.

The Youthful Sage

Eitri looked up as the sound indicated yet another fighter had fallen. Quite likely the masked humanoid fighting the flying metallic person. She looked back to Belowski. He almost seemed concerned. Were the stakes of this tournament finally starting to set in on the boy? Eitri sat down on the dirt couch, keeping watch on the entrance of the tunnel and crossed her arms. She hoped Bugs would dig quickly, she did not like being underground so close to the metal man and his massive energy blasts for too long.

"... Yes." Eitri said. "I believe the metal flying cowboy just killed that strange black creature we had just seen. I left something to try to cause more chaos, but I doubt it will be able to do any real damage. It's likely it is already dead as well. If you are able to conjure some defenses, it may be prudent to do that now. We may be his next targets."
Eitri took a glance to the Happy Lover.
"I have the feeling your companion does not like me." Eitri said to Belowski.

"Brrrrrrrriiii..."

Happy lover pouted as it turned away from her. It still seemed to think she was up to no good. After all, it was a death game. Belowksi on the other hand, didn't think so. He instead began to pull cards from the deck, five of them to be exact.

"Prolly cause you ain't speakin' the language of the lover, man." Belowski responded in his usual chill demeanor. "Positive vibes thrive, bad ones? Wellll, she can scout 'em out a mile away. Musta done something pretty uncool to get her to be all cold n' stuff."

Cocking his head to the side with little urgency as he looked at a card he drew. Placing it on the duel disk before him, a pink mist swirled up before spawning a familiar monster-

"Mokey Mokey!"

"Don't worry though, Mokey Mokey's here to make sure everything Okei dokey~"

......

Sateramon

"Hmph. An act of desperation. Try as you must, you are simply outmatched."

As the creature readied a magical arrow, firing it up at him. It was quickly shot down by his point defense light attacks emitting from his coattails. However, the non magical one behind it was masked by the energy emitting from the former? Managing to shoot through a panel in the coattail, shattering it. This slightly stunted his aerial capabilities, but thankfully the panels were regenerative, especially in a singular basis. Wouldn't be but a few seconds.

"Hm! I see." Sateramon noted, turning and nodding at the damage." You've made you point. Now, Begone."

He pointed the gun down, firing a laser that would bathe the creature as well as cause a massive crater into the ground that would burst open a hole into Buggs's hiding hole.

Pipipipipipipi!

Eitri's eyes widened. Energy spike alert from Grim Brokkr. She extended a hand to Belowski, palm up.

Fire Emblem Legendary Effect 2: Pair Up

With a burst of wind, Belowski was pulled across the room to directly behind Eitri. And not a moment too soon. A blast of energy rained down from the heavens, filling the small tunnel with a sickly green light. Bugs had dug out enough that the spot Eitri was standing was out of the blast. But now, a gaping hole shone light down on them. And standing in the air, fair above, Eitri could see him. The metal flying cowboy.

Busted. But there was some part of Eitri that had wanted this to happen. A battle against a strong opponent. Something that she had not had the pleasure of partaking in for many generations. The grin returned.

"Well, Belowski. It's time to duel." Eitri said. Keeping her eyes on Sateramon, she spoke to Bugs Bunny.
"Rabbit. I'd like to ask for your help. I don't know how you fight, but this enemy will kill you if he gets the chance." Eitri said. Winds began to blow as Eitri rose out of the hole, slowly rising towards Sateramon with Belowski in tow. As she rose, Grim Brokkr aimed itself at Sateramon. The red eye of the weapon stayed fixated on the Digimon.
"Who are you?" Eitri called up to Sateramon. This metal man intrigued her, she had to admit.

THE SECRET AGENT

"I'm sure we'll find someone," Leon replied a little too casually to the robot that had sought his destruction moments prior. "If you couldn't tell, we're kinda the aces at making friends around here. Well, 'cept that duck thing." The agent frowned, glanced about, then looked at Omega. "It tried to attack me while we were fighting. Was it someone you know, or did I spit in that guy's cereal?"

THE DARK LORD

The nuisance persisted. Had the dark lord not been so severely weakened in this realm, the droid would have been crushed the moment it made itself known. Weakness was not a comfortable feeling to Darth, who knew exactly what the evasive robot's tactics were. It had displayed nothing but trickery and hacking, but its earlier attempts had prepared the sith lord. As a matter of fact, he'd been waiting for it to make such an attempt again. The aforementioned hacking attempts by IG-88, that had very nearly led Vader to his doom, had made him acutely aware of the dangers such things posed.

In order to hack, a connection has to be made, and Darth's own adjustments to his life support allowed that connection to go both ways. All he had to do was wait for the droid to open it, and the suit's programming would do the rest, as Vader's earlier tinkering with the suit after the initial hack had activated this feature. So the moment the connection was made, and Dusty attempted to gain control over the dark lord's limbs, instead, a debilitating and rather nasty counter-virus, one that the droid left himself open to. A simple virus with a simple purpose, the direct connection allowing it to infiltrate and immediately begin overloading the droid's systems, overheating and confusing any vital systems, something Vader would have preferred to have used on IG-88, had he not immediately killed the assassin.

As that response took place with the hacking attempt, there was another issue. An opposing force, calling the dark lord and Zed together. No, not a force. Magnetism. The droid's bag of tricks were vast, certainly, but it was running out. Vader's response was quick, combining the anti-hack alongside a simple throw. Even as his boots dug into the earth, he cast away his lightsaber, which spun rapidly through the air to cut the droid apart, and any evasion would be made with an alteration to the blade's trajectory, essentially homing in on Dusty whichever way it turned.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

"Stay still so I can beat you to a pulp!" the koopa king roared, and predictably moved in to close the distance. Nikolai snorted, before he threw up his arms in an almost comedic shrug.

"If you like," he replied in his broken english. Bowser grasped onto the Russian's leg and flung him into the dirt, earth spraying up from the impact. Nikolai smirked as he pushed himself up immediately, but was slammed back into the ground by a headbutt. Again, he picked himself up only to met with a mallet that manifested, and for a third time, Nikolai's crater expanded.

Yet again, the grinning spirit pushed himself back up, but as the turtle threw a punch, the man swung his head forward, headbutting Bowser's knuckles in equal force, knocking it back and allowing Nikolai to rise fully to his feet. The koopa bared his teeth, fury lighting his eyes. "No way you're some average scrub if you're makin' me work up a sweat like this! What're you, a long-lost star child?! Some sort of ancient deity?! Or are ya some kind of Superman?" he barked, before throwing a fist at Nikolai, who matched it. Once again, their knuckles collided, again and again, pound by pound, every punch Bowser threw was matched, and every punch Nikolai threw was met in the same way.

"Not Superman," Nikolai replied, taking a step back as Bowser reeled his fist back. "Russian." He corrected, before crossing his arms in an "x" over his chest, the center of which Bowser's charged punch landed against. Nikolai was lifted off the ground, flying back a few feet before skidding to a stop by his heels.

"Whatever, you'll eat dirt all the same!" was the king's response before he plunged his claws into the ground and proceeded to tear out a large boulder, hefting it over his shoulder, before hurling it toward his opponent. With the wide swing of his fist, Nikolai lunged into the rock, which shattered as it impacted him---and his eyes widened in surprise as he found Bowser's fist connecting with his jaw. The boulder had just been a diversion from the actual hit, and Nikolai respected the hell out of the grind. Launched through the air, the Russian spun, before digging his fists into the ground and grinding to a halt, chest heaving. "This is . . . fun," he chuckled to Bowser, "I like real fight."

Already, the vodka was beginning to wear off. It was an unfortunate side effect of consuming more. While it did boost his power further, it ran through his system much more quickly, a caveat to his advantage. He still had one good swig left, but that would be short-lived.

Ah, what the hell. He tore out his flask, and upon seeing this, Bowser launched himself forward, but his claws swiped air as Nikolai had leaped a few feet up, using this to plant a boot against Bowser's face and kick off from it, which only seemed to agitate the koopa further. Whilst sailing through the air back, Nikolai took one last practiced swig, before tossing the flask aside, his entire body seeming to engulf in the power the vodka granted him as he skid again to a halt. This power would be short-lived, but like hell would he waste it. He'd have a little fun, instead.

Sateramon & Belowski

The cowboy looked down at his handiwork, and to his surprise, there seemed to be an artificial dirt living room down there. Two figures stood, alongside a couple of floating fairies. As she addressed him, he paused for a moment before answering.

"I'm known as Sateramon, Barracuda of the deep web. Though you may simply call me...Sateramon."

Glancing up at the number above them from the corner of his eye, the cybernetic bounty hunter continued.

"Seeing as the number hasn't gone down, that thing must have been called on by one of you two humans."

Mokey Mokey and Happy Lover looked up as Sateramon let go of their gun to cross their arms, the gun somehow floating in place by itself.

"They've been destroyed, so now you can no longer hide behind them. I was content to leave others be for the meantime, but I can't ignore that you have given orders to attack me. That, I'm afraid, my desert belle, means you will have to be eliminated. Nai nda na!"

That's when Sateramon snatched up his gun, blasting down a large laser at Eitri. The laser would make a last second sharp turn to the right before forking back to strike her from the side flank.

"Ehhhh, it's best you don't think about it." Bugs echoed through his hole. The rabbit heard the counter go down, and flinched.
"Yeowch. Looks like the fight ended. Well, just a bit more digging and-"
BOOM!!
An explosion strong enough to shake Bugs sounded off from behind. Part of him wanted to consider Belowski and Eitri a lost cause, and just move on. But then he heard Eitri ask for his aid. Bugs sighed and turned back, poking his head out of the hole to the sight of the fighter they previously saw looking down on them, engaging with his two...allies, he presumed.
"Ah...carrot sticks." he complained, before reentering his hole. If he was gonna help, he needed some 'stradegy'.

The Youthful Sage

Eitri suddenly flew to her right to dodge the laser. But as she watched, the laser suddenly changed directions. Eitri turned to face the laser, maneuvering Belowski to stay behind her. As she held up her hands, two magical barriers before Eitri. The first one appeared to be a barrier of plain, green magics. The second one was more intricate, a series of golden hexagons that formed a sphere around Eitri and Belowski. Sateramon's laser struck the first barrier, the energy of the attack being greatly reduced before it was able to pass through. The laser struck the golden barrier.

Signature Ability: Divine Recreation

The effect of the laser striking the golden barrier was a strange one. Some of the laser was deflected away, bouncing off the panels. Some of the laser went through the cracks, grazing Eitri's cheek and burning some of her clothes. The panels that Sateramon's attack struck began to glow green. Instantaneously, strands of green energy emerged from the panels and attached themselves to Eitri's magical rifle. The patterns and carvings in the rifle began to glow with the same energy of Sateramon's attack.

Eitri flew up at great speed, trying to reach the same level as Sateramon. As she did, Grim Brokkr fired. A powerful beam of purple, lightning-like magical energy shot towards the Digimon. A second beam swirled around the purple magic, a smooth laser-like beam of green energy. The same type of attack Sateramon had just shot at Eitri.

After she erected her barrier and absorbed his laser attack, he did not let up. He fired his gun up in the air twice, so when Eitri's own lasers would encroach on him, his beams would strike back down at a diagonal angle, tanking enough of Eitri's dual beams for him to sweep down out of the way.

"You may have firepower, but you are no marksman...!"

He swept in close, pointing a gun directly at her, sending a cyan beam to pulverize her. That's when happy lover flew into the scene, extending her wings in front of her. The beam struck Happy Lover, the excess energy seeming to stop unnaturally on her, as if unable to get past. That's when she shattered into a million pieces.

"...Hm?" Sateramon questioned.

"That was pretty unchill, dude." Belowski spoke. "Your kinda negative energy just won't stand, man. Had to sacrifice my lil' lover. But from one comes many dude, and that's why I played this while you were doing your monologue."

A card materialized in mid air. It was a deep pink, which Eitri would recognize from looking through his deck earlier was a trap.

"This card is called human wave tactics. Meaning no matter how hard the man tries to crush us, the lil' guys will always keep comin'. Just gotta choose who should come...and I'm thinkin'... Mokey Mokey needs a lil' friend."

Suddenly, a second Mokey Mokey materialized in front of Eitri. The presence of two Mokey Mokeys was a drowsy inducing experience. Sateramon rubbing his eyes. What was this feeling? He never had a functional requirement for sleep...what on earth.

"This is...new. But it shall not save you!"

Holding down his trigger, he flicked his wrist quickly, his laser swiping the top of the cave, compromising the ceiling. The goal? To crush Belowski under his own cover! The laser would at the same time, swipe over Eitri along it@: trajectory.
